John Fisher was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He was nominated by President James Madison on April 22, 1812. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 23, 1812, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on April 22, 1823.[1] Fisher was succeeded in this position by Willard Hall.
