Edmund Port
Edmund Port (1906-1986) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Port was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on April 30, 1964, to a seat vacated by Stephen Brennan; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 1, 1964, and received commission the next day. Port was succeeded in this position by Howard Munson. He assumed senior status on February 7, 1976, and served in that capacity until his death on March 2, 1986.[1]
