David W. Christel is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. He was appointed to this position on March 24, 2007, as a part-time magistrate judge. In February 2015, he was appointed to be a full-time magistrate, effective April 1, 2015. His current term expired on March 31, 2023.[1][2]
Education
Judge Christel received his B.A. degree from Washington State University. He then earned his J.D. degree from the University of Washington in 1985.[3]
