Giles Ward
Giles Ward (b. March 6, 1948) is a former Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 18 from 2008 to 2016. Ward served as President Pro Tempore in the 2015 session.
Ward did not run for re-election in 2015.
Biography
Ward attended Mississippi State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. Now retired, his professional experience includes working as Regional Manager for Georgia-Pacific Corporation.

Ward won re-election to the Mississippi Senate District 18. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. Steven Kilgore ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Ward defeated Kilgore in the general election on November 8, 2011.[1]
