C. Bruce Anderson is a part-time federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Anderson joined the court in 2012.[1]
Early life and education
Anderson earned his undergraduate degree from the Western Maryland College in 1974 and he earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1992.[1]
Professional career
When he graduated from law school he was a law clerk for the judges of Wicomico County, Maryland. After clerking he served as criminal defense litigator and divorce attorney for the firms of Robert B. Fine and Webster & Webster P.A. In 1998, he became a sole practitioner where he focused on criminal defense until he became a magistrate judge.[1]

Anderson was appointed as a part-time federal magistrate judge in March of 2012.[1]
