Campaign themes

2016

Boniface provided the following statement on her campaign website:

Fairness

A courtroom should be an impartial place of justice. As judge, my goal has been to create a courtroom that is a place where every person is treated with respect. I believe that it is imperative that judges build trust with the community they serve.

Courage
Having courage means making tough decisions even when they are unpopular. I am not afraid to take a stand for what is right. As the Judge of the 3rd Circuit Court, there have been times when I have needed to take positions that are unpopular. Please know, I am here to make the right decisions not the popular ones.

Clarity
I will always work to explain my decisions in a manner that is clear and understandable to all parties. Part of my job is to provide clarity to complex situations. I will continue to work hard to make sure that people who appear before me know how I make my decisions.[2]
