Cassandra Lazzara
Cassandra Lazzara was a 2011 Democratic candidate for District 40 of the New Jersey General Assembly.
Lazzara's professional experience includes working as a teacher at Woodland Park’s Memorial Middle School. She has also worked as a special education aide and part-time lunchroom monitor.
Lazzara earned her B.A. in education from Montclair State University in 1998 and her Master's in educational leadership and supervision from William Paterson University.

Lazzara was a candidate for District 40 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Lazzara and William Brennan ran unopposed in the June 7 Democratic primary. David Russo and Scott Rumana defeated Louis D'Angelo and Ernesto Sesso in the Republican primary.[1]
