This probably isn’t Sunn’s best album but it’s definitely very experimental and interesting to listen to. This is a great album and definitely a Sunn essential
Bought this thing on my laptop to listen to during my 80 minute classes. It’s the only thing loud enough to drown out my teachers. It’s become kind of an everyday listen for me at this point. With every listen I realize more and more that Caustic is the heaviest record ever made.
To me, this album is the auditory experience of liminal space. Nostalgic, spacey and melancholic. Stratosphere creates an atmosphere like very few albums and artists can.
