Vintage 36mm Benrus 25 Jewel Automatic Men's Watch Serviced W/ Warranty!

This is a vintage 1970s Benrus 25 jewel automatic men's watch. This is an excellent example of a robust vintage automatic men's watch. The 36mm case is a nice size for contemporary style. Since its founding in 1921, Benrus has always been synonymous with quality and reliability. The champagne dial and gold indices are nearly pristine and have a lovely shimmer. The date window is quick set and operates as it should. The high grade 25 jewel ETA 2783 movement is a workhorse. There is visible loss to the gold plating on the ends of the lugs and other high-friction areas of the case. The 25 jewel ETA 2783 movement has been serviced and is keeping great time. It comes with a limited 1 year warranty. I always recommend giving any vintage automatic watch a generous manual winding before putting on from zero power to ensure sufficient power reserve for normal wear and optimal performance. Please note, one of the gears in the winding mechanism is ever so slightly warped, so sometimes when setting the time it may occasionally feel a little tight moving the hands forward forward. If this happens just bring the hands backwards a little bit then forwards again and that should help. This small idiosyncrasy does not affect the timekeeping of the watch. Warranty information/limitations: -This watch is guaranteed to run accurately (with daily winding) up to +-5 minutes per day for a total of one year from the date of shipment. (Note, this watch is currently running MUCH more accurately than that, however if you keep your watch near magnetic items it may greatly affect the accuracy of the watch if parts become magnetized) -Any Waterproof/resistant indications on the case or dial should not be considered accurate. I personally never recommend treating any vintage timepiece as waterproof. Damage due to liquid is not covered in the warranty. -Warranty ONLY covers the mechanical features of this timepiece from normal use. Damage due to mishandling, impacts, liquid, heat, etc will not be covered. If item is sent to be repaired and it is determined to have such damage, the customer will be responsible for return shipping of the timepiece as-is OR can choose to have the timepiece repaired for a fee. -Watch band/crystal/case damage is NOT included in the warranty -Customers will pay all shipping to and from repair, unless repair cannot be completed. If repair is not possible, @wearhasthetimegone will either reimburse the customer in full (for retail price and repair shipping) and retain the timepiece OR will return the timepiece and reimburse shipping ONLY (whichever customer prefers). -Turnaround time for repairs cannot be guaranteed as some replacement parts can be very difficult to acquire. Turnaround times for repairs will be discussed on a case by case basis.
