To renovate this space we changed absolutely everything from floor to ceiling (!) to create the inviting entryway that we wanted.

We skimmed and plastered the artex ceiling, moved the radiator, changed the window and door, added a stair runner to match our upstairs twist pile carpet, panelled the hallway wall and added herringbone flooring.

The walls were a delightful mishmash of peach, blue and yellow so we repainted those in much more neutral hues to brighten the space.

Plans still to come include panelling the stairs and adding a coat rack area. Watch this space!
