Chapter 1: Martini's and Mistakes

Martini’s and Mistakes
~
A raven haired woman sat along side her family as people converged onto the spacious gardens at the Higurashi estate. Sighing as the line of people wishing condolences got longer and longer. She just wanted this nightmare to end already. Eyes as clear as the blue skies above them took in every minute detail and, if not for all the pomp and fuss, she would have already paid her respects to her malcontent grandfather and left. Seeing as how he was a prominent public figure; ie: rich old dude, everyone in their social circle, and more, had showed up to pay their respects to the old curmudgeon.
Her future wasn’t so bleak as it was a week ago. No impending wedding to an awful hanyo who wanted to use her for her money and affluence. No more pandering to a cheating and abusive man who had decided to use her to get farther in life. Though no one had expected the fatal stroke her grandfather had she was not going to lie and say she wasn’t happy about it. Her grandfather’s death had meant her freedom.
No more cage for this bird.
It was only sad that her grandfather’s will still came with so many stipulations.
“Oh, Higurashi-sama we are so sorry for your loss,” two of her grandfather’s board members came up to her and bowed offering kodenbukuro.
I’m not. Kagome smiled sadly, and nodded solemnly, “It is tragic. No one could have predicted it. He lived a good, long life, and that’s all that matters,” the loss of life was still sad, even if it was her grandfathers’. She felt her older cousin nudge her, and she smiled sadly.
“Hey, you good?” she heard Miroku ask. She nodded as three more board members put their sites on her. She heard Miroku groan and she gave a small giggle before composing herself once more.
“Kagome-sama we offer our deepest condolences, a stroke, who knew; he was the picture of health!” one of the board member’s wives said, and Kagome nodded, as she took more of their offerings.
Sighing despondently, offering another sad nod, “Tragic.” Miroku hid his guffaw with a well placed cough. The others looked over and offered him condolences as well. Four more took their places, splitting between Miroku and her. Kagome watched as her mother continued to console her aunt, who hadn’t stopped crying since the doctors had pronounced her grandfather dead.
“On your six, angry ex-fiance coming in hot, shall I...” Miroku trailed off and Kagome hummed in acknowledgment. He intervened, catching Naraku by the arm, “Oh my poor grandfather! It’s just awful! Come, my friend, I need a drink,” Miroku’s fake wail caught multiple peoples attentions and cause a bit of a stir, but Kagome was never more grateful for him than right now.
She owed him big.
Naraku had not taken her breaking their engagement off well. In fact he’d been furious and since had promised to change and he would give her time to think so she could make the right decision. If only her grandfather had lived for a measly nine more weeks. They would have been wed, but Naraku’s penchant for cheating, and refusal to be involved in the planning of their wedding had made the moment so much more worth it. Serves him right for dragging his feet to the alter. Now he would get nothing. Less than nothing when she was done ruining his reputation.
She really couldn’t wait.
Revenge was going to be so sweet.
A real smile came across her lips, as the chanting stopped, and there was only the murmur of people around offering well wishes and condolences. Kagome sighed once more only this time she felt so much lighter.
Goodbye Jii-chan.
~
Kagome could not believe Miroku had done this. She sighed as she looked at the boat in front of them. A booze cruise? Really? She didn’t have time for this. She had meetings she had to prepare for, a flight to Spain for the grand opening of their newest branch of hotels, and then Sota’s graduation, and subsequent position. She turned to see her cousin smiling, “You know I have a meeting in the morning,” she was over his bullshit.
“I canceled them.”
“You did what?! Miroku these-”
“Calm down. I took care of it. You’ve been working yourself to the bone for years, even harder these past few months. You were about to marry a man Grandfather forced on you, I just want you to sit back, get drunk, and celebrate the fact that you’re not going to be Mrs. Nakazawa Naraku. Eri is there, Kagura is here, I am here, Jakotsu, Bankotsu, Ayumi, Yura. C’mon lets get wasted,” Miroku’s argument was solid.
“I don’t have any clothes,” a last ditch effort to get out of this ridiculous facade.
“Nonsense, I packed for you. There’s even a sash that says Ex Bride-to-Be. It’s hilarious. Let’s go!” Kagome would have whined if it had been appropriate.
~
Sesshōmaru wasn’t sure how he got talked into this booze cruise, only that his brother wanted to take him to get over Ayame. He was already over Ayame. He didn’t want to share her, she wanted to be shared, as is done in wolf packs, they were at an impasse. He broke it off. They had not spoken since. It was not a big deal.
Sango and Inu-Yasha were laughing, and drinking and he swore this was a just a ploy so he would be the responsible one.
“You know what they say~ best way to get over someone is to get under someone new.” Inu-Yasha said playfully as Sango laughed. The both of them taking shots,
He’d rather not. He was content to admit defeat. A mate was not in the cards for him.
It was not meant to be.
Apparently, he was too choosy. Whatever the fuck that meant.
All he wanted was someone intelligent, loyal to him, and maybe a fat ass to hold at night; was that so hard? Apparently it was. It wasn’t like a true mating would happen anyway, his beasts’ involvement in his past relationships was nonexistent. He was content to know that at least his brother had found someone. Even if they were nauseating to be around.
He looked over at them cooing at one another, and he was going to vomit at the scent of his brother’s arousal and Sango’s answering one. Three hundred years, and they were still all over each other. It was disgusting.
“Oh my puppy~,” Sango cooed, as she played with an ear, and that was his cue to fuck off. He would not be stuck watching them make out or fuck right here. Looking at the state of said booze cruise at all the inebriated bodies he knew he could sneak off unnoticed. Maybe he’d send a few emails out. Wait out this damnable weekend.
He glanced over to see a man with a tray full of fruity concoctions and went to snag one of them as he made his way far, far from his brother and sister-in-law.
He went to leave the area when a woman barreled into him. Obsidian curls obscured her flushed face, and he was caught by ocean eyes. “I am so sorry!” she yelled over all the noise on the deck. “I’m trying to hide, it’s not working,” she giggled looking behind her as her white spaghetti strapped dress clung to her curves. She rose on tiptoes to check and make sure she wasn’t being followed, and gave out a breathy sigh.
“Thank goodness my plan worked. Here let me get you another drink,” she commented and he realized that there was red running down, not only, the back of her dress, but her back as well staining her slightly tanned skin red.
“I apologize for-”
She waved a hand dismissing the almost apology. “I ran you over, it’s ok. Let’s get you a refill, and I’ll be on my way,” she gave a small yawn, and then shook herself back awake.
She scented heavily of alcohol, but seemed able to keep her wits about her, and then she smiled at him and something deep within him stirred.
That was very interesting.
~
Kagome was surrounded by close family, and friends while pounding every shot that was given to her. Miroku and Kagura were curled around each other, as was Jakotsu and Bankotsu. Ayumi, Eri, and Yura were all having a good time and Kagome felt like she was in her early twenties again. Partying in college, less responsibilities, even less sleep, and more motivation to go out, but being a Higurashi came with being perfect.
Kagome was not perfect.
Tonight, though, she could be Kagome, and only Kagome. Not Higurashi, Kagome. Just Kagome. It was a freeing thought.
“Another round for the ex bride,” a waiter said, “Compliments of the gentlemen over there,” pointing over towards the massive bar in the part of the boat they were in. Kagome blushed, took a shot from the tray and down the hatch it went. Eri went to grab one, as did Yura when the men came by, flashing smiles only to her. “So Ex Bride-to-Be care to share what idiot couldn’t handle you?”
Kagome laughed, “Nothing like that. We went our separate ways, it was better for the both of us.” While it was true that it was better Naraku and her did not marry. It was definitely better for her. He’d been manipulative, constantly gaslighting her, diet after diet in an effort to get her to lose weight even though she was perfectly healthy, a serial cheater, verbally abusive, and demanding she take charge of the household like a good wife should, though she was the one who had more money and the better pedigree. It was a veritable nightmare for her. Now, that he was gone she felt lighter, and happier than she had in years.
It didn’t matter that she still felt like he was constantly hidden in every shadow waiting for her to make a misstep.
“He’d have to be blind to let a catch like you go,” again Kagome blushed at the praise. She’d never been one to garner attention from males so openly. Not unless they knew who she was, which she kept hidden. Miroku was the face of the Higurashi empire, Kagome was the heiress, kind of.
A clatter of glasses smashing together, and Kagome felt wetness spill against her hip onto the white dress; she couldn’t catch a break. “Oh Kagome, I’m so sorry!” Eri yelled among the chatter of the others, to draw attention to the fact that Kagome had gotten some well deserved attention from the opposite sex.
Kagome’s smile stayed in place, she knew it was an accident, “It’s alright. It’s white it was bound to get ruined on the trip.”
Kagura was beside her in an instant, giggling at the men sweetly, “Come on, lets get you changed. Be back in a flash gentlemen,” and with a wink Kagura had taken her under wing for a wardrobe change.
“Eri is such a spoil sport,” Kagura couldn’t stand Eri, they’d been at each other throats for years. Eri’s excuse was Kagura was moving in on her best friend territory. Kagura’s was that Eri was a fake friend, constantly using her, “Oh, I really liked this dress. The eyelets are so cute. No matter, there’s a satin one that is dying to get on those curves,” Kagura commented.
Kagome wondered, “Are all the dresses white, maybe a black or a pink-”
“They’re all white, Miroku’s little prank for the weekend,” Kagura teased.
“My dress was going to be blush. I feel like I’m a joke,” Kagura stopped them at Kagome’s admission.
“You are not a joke, you’re Higurashi, Kagome. Put your shoulders back, stand as tall as you can for your height.”
“Kagura,” she flashed small fangs, at Kagome’s admonishing tone.
“And be the incredible woman you are. You’re intelligent, kind, and are loaded, the ultimate catch. These males can only hope to take someone like you to bed. Let’s get you changed and get you back on the prowl before Eri steals the males who were vying for you,” Kagura commented as Kagome rolled her eyes.
Although, Kagura was right, Eri did have the nasty habit of taking attention away from Kagome, especially if males were involved.
They walked arm in arm towards their booked room, really Miroku had gone all out, and Kagome was happy that though she lost Naraku she got to keep Kagura. “I’m so glad that you chose to stay friends with me after I broke things off with your brother.”
“Oh please, Naraku’s an ass. He didn’t deserve you. Now go change, I’ll wait,” Kagura stood outside their room as Kagome changed, holding up the white dress she chewed her bottom lip, she didn’t know if her ass or her tits would fit. Either was a gamble it was why she got everything tailored, but the satin was lovely, and the cowl neck would be so flattering.
“Kagura, can you come in and help me squeeze into this I’m not sure I’ll be able too,” Kagome called and Kagura poked her head in and then entered.
“Arms up,” Kagome laughed, but did as she bade. Kagura unzipped the now stained dress and pulled from the bottom up and over Kagome’s head. Kagome giggled.
“Lose the bra, this is much too luxurious for you not to have it against skin,” Kagura ordered.
“Kagura, these bad boys are F’s I will poke someone’s eyes out!”
“That’s the point sweetheart. Who cares if they’re not looking at your face, you’re getting drunk, and if you want a lay you’re getting that too. In this dress everything is possible. Now,” Kagura found the side zipper that Kagome must have been too drunk for, because she hadn’t even felt it, “Feet first,” Kagura teased. Kagome rolled her eyes, but stepped into the dress and then shimmied the rest of the way into it.
She felt so uncomfortable without a bra on while she was out in public, thank goodness the cowl’s ruching would hide her nipples. That’s all she needed was a PR disaster. Drunk heiress flashes nipples on booze cruise the weekend of her canceled wedding. Thank all the gods above her grandfather was dead because he would have died from the mortification.
Kagura moved away as Kagome pulled the zipper up on the right side of the dress. She looked down at her breasts, Behave, she silently hoped, and turned for Kagura’s inspection.
“Perfect. The dress is more ivory than I would like, but it’s perfect. I’m so glad I snuck it in behind Miroku’s back. We’re getting you under someone tonight! Only if you want, of course,” Kagura complimented and Kagome laughed. She would see where the night went.
Leaving their room arm in arm, Kagome was surprised Miroku was waiting outside the room, he took one look at her and made a face, “Put another one on.”
“No,” Kagura intervened looking at Miroku with an air of superiority and defiance. “Kagome looks ravishing in it, and if she chooses to get under someone that’s her business. You’re not her father, you are her cousin.”
“Older cousin,” he fought back and Kagome sighed, they always got like this. Kagura was combative, Miroku was a flirt until he put his serious face on, and demanded Kagome pander to his whims, which was always around times like this. He didn’t want her with a player like him. Kagura always called him out on his bullshit.
Kagome decided to let them argue it out, which would inevitably mean they would fuck like rabbits and then Kagome would get scolded by both of them for letting them get distracted.
“Semantics. She is not your responsibility, she’s an adult who was in a shit relationship who deserves to go out and get absolutely railed.” Kagura was going to get her in so much trouble. No matter how right she was.
Miroku made an oddly rasping, “Ha,” sound and then blew up, “How dare you-” and she turned the corner and was gone, leaving the two to argue until they fucked it out. She hoped she wasn’t noticed. She had to hide, she needed a crowd.
She made a break and kept going, not running per se but a nice brisk pace. Until she ran straight into someone in her haste to get away, and nearly cried as the frozen whatever he was drinking hit the small of her back and sunk into the dress she just changed into.
She was not changing again.

Sesshōmaru had never felt caught before. He never had the opportunity for someone to have the advantage over him, but these pair of blue eyes and that smile might be close. He was just as surprised when she grabbed his hand, and led him away, focusing on the very lovely asset from behind. That would definitely give her an advantage over him.
Maybe he was more drunk than he thought. Maybe Inu-Yasha had spiked his earlier drinks. This was far from normal, and with the undercurrent of his instincts being, strange , he didn’t know what to do other than follow the petite little thing. Even though her dress was ruined, and he felt terrible, maybe he’d buy her a new one? Maybe we can convince her to forgo clothes altogether. Where had that thought come from?
Why were his eyes continuously trying to stay on the aforementioned asset?
He would blame the dress. It clung to her curves, what lovely curves they are, he narrowed his eyes on his half empty drink and wondered if he had been drugged. It wouldn’t be the first time someone had t ri ed, but he could usually scent such things. Sesshōmaru growled low, too low for the female to hear, but low enough for yokai to get the warning. If there were drugs in his drink he would rampage.
She turned, and smiled, he felt his breath catch again, and then she took the half empty drink and gave him a full one. “There all better,” she let go, only to grab a fresh one for herself as well, the silly straw attached was merely decoration but she used it anyway. He went to warn her, but she blushed, “Oh! The hint of yoki really gives it a nice punch.” T hat was more interesting. A human female that could tolerate yoki infused liquor was not what he was expecting.
S he laughed going to move past him, “Well it was lovely, bumping into you. Hopefully no more spilled-” he stopped her before she could sashay away, though he desperately would like to see her do so. Hadn’t he just been thinking of a fat ass bitch in his bed? “There are a few karaoke rooms not being used, would you like to join me? I no longer wish to watch my brother stuff his tongue down my sister-in-law’s throat for the umpteenth time,” she laughe d .
He had to get her away from prying eyes, he wanted to know everything about her, needed- “Kagome there you are!” another female yelled and the one he was dragg- leading, not dragging, stopped. Her scent of ripened fuyu persimmons and sunshine, clouded with ozone, before she extricated their hands. Odd? Usually females were more than happy to have the privilege to touch him.
“Eri! You found me,” she called, scent still muddled with ozone.
Kagome, what a perfect name, for a perfect bitch . Where had that thought come from? Not that it was wrong.
“Kagome! The dress is lovely, but where’s the sash Mrs. Ex Bride-to-Be?” Ex Bride to be? What dumbass let this luscious female back out into the dating pool? He needed to send them something. A thank you card, a fruit basket; he’d figure it out later.
The new female, Eri, brought with her two males, one who was clearly genetically superior, to the other, though neither could compete with him.
What human could hope to?
The other female looked at him and then looked at Kagome eyes searching, but Kagome made no move to initiate their former contact, grating against his instincts. He watched her drink a significant amount of the alcohol, before turning to give an uncomfortable smile at the female. “Eri, I was just coming back to find you guys. Miroku and Kagura got into one of their verbal spars again so you know exactly where they’re going to end up,” she laughed nervously. Trying to put more distance between them. Why?
Did she not want him? Preposterous. She wanted him before the other female showed up.
“And the yokai?”
“Dai-Yokai,” he interrupted. He was not a common yokai. He was a prince, born and bred to be the best predator. He would not be lumped in with the others.
“I spilled his drink, I helped him get another one. He was going to-” Kagome went to explain.
Eri interrupted her as she gave him the once over, “ Well if he’s not busy he should hang with us. Kagura, and Miroku are obviously busy, Ayumi and Yura paired off, and, of course, Bankotsu and Jakotsu are somewhere together. Let’s keep celebrating!” She thought she could have him. Oh this female had the audacity; how wrong she would be.
K agome’s scent was disconcerting. She was becoming increasingly more agitated and nervous, but she sighed; resigned . “Sure,” the tone she used was forced, but she would not fight the other female. Very odd. The two other males flashed smiles full of intentions at Kagome and he was equally bothered. Why did she not want him to join her and the others?
Could it be the other males, or the female?
He would find out. She had been more than happy to let him lead her away, but now that others had appeared she was nervous and agitated.
“I know of a karaoke room that’s empty, we can continue drinking there?” he offered though he much preferred just Kagome’s company.
Eri waved him off, “Oh our room is fine, no one else is there, but our drinks still are! C’mon,” she grabbed Kagome roughly, and then sighed, “Oh Kagome didn’t you just change. How are you always so clumsy. No one would believe your a CEO,” that tidbit was interesting.
“I’m not the CEO,” she responded sourly.
“You might as well be, what with your-”
“Please, I do not want to think about work, right now. Remember, no wedding! Yay!” she said it with such exasperation that Sesshōmaru decided that at the earliest convenience he’d be taking them somewhere else. She clearly didn’t want to be near Eri.
He watched her drink the yoki infused cocktail while being led away, both males hung back clearly conspiring on which male was going to run interference against him so they could have either female. Kagome’s eyes met his for a moment, and he felt his beast stir once more; he’d have her tonight. There was no doubt about that.
~
Kagome sighed as Eri ignored both human males for Sesshōmaru just like Kagome knew she would. For what e ver reason she always gunned for the male Kagome wanted or was even a te en sy bit interested in . It had been that way since college, and she figured it was because they had similar tastes in men, which was true.
It just made her so… done. Eri would always win the affections of the one she wanted and Kagome just cowed to her. Eri would beg, or plead, even going ahead and stealing the male she wanted in some cases. She’d made many enemies while they were in college over it, but Kagome had always stayed by her. It was either Eri or no one, and well Eri did care for her. Was always there as a shoulder to cry on. Even if she did always steal the guy she was out for.
Kagome shrugged, Sesshōmaru seemed to be enjoying Eri’s company anyway. Males always did.
This time was supposed to be different. This time it was supposed to be about Kagome having fun not Eri, but in true Eri fashion everything was about her.
Kagome took a deep breath, shaking herself from such thoughts, and continued the boring conversation she was having with the two human males. She didn’t want to listen to them argue over legal semantics, and ethics. She wanted a tongue down her throat.
The bartender came back and looked between her and Eri setting the tray in front of Kagome. She was grateful for the booze. Miroku knew her so well. All her favorites. “I made something different, but based on your preference, your cousin was insistent,” the bartender mentioned as he spun the tray to a beautiful coup filled with something that smelled citrusy and sweet. “Blackberry, and yuzu, with Empress Gin, and a hint of something else,” he explained and Kagome picked it up, smelling first before sipping. It was lovely. It was perfect, she needed ten more.
“Oh! It’s divine, keep these coming,” the bartender blushed but smiled happily before leaving. Her and gin usually didn’t get along but tonight she was willing to look the other way.
A clawed hand entered her vision and Kagome turned to Sesshōmaru, “May I?” she nodded and handed the cocktail to him, only for Kagome’s attention to be brought back to the other two.
“Really, Kagome what do you think?” Kagome didn’t care, but she smiled, and went about telling them she didn’t have an opinion though she did, and they were both wrong, very wrong.
The door swung open and in crashed a giggling Kagura and a smiling Miroku. Who immediately took stock of one too many males near Kagome. “Ooh new friends!” Kagura laughed as she pushed Eri out of the way and sat on the other side of Sesshōmaru. Kagome tried not to feel relief.
Eri flush ed in anger, Sesshōmaru placed her cocktail back down, but Kagome would not reach for it now. Miroku looked at her and smiled, “Oh the signature cocktail I requested. Was it everything you dreamed of?”
Kagome smiled back at him, “It’s perfect. Thank you Miroku once again proving that you’re the only cousin that matters.” He gave a slight mocking bow at her teasing which only made Kagome laugh.
“Naturally,” he went to sit next to Kagura leaving Eri to have to sit next to the less than attractive man who had waved to both Kagura and Miroku.
“We need more shots!” Kagura exclaimed as she threw her arms around Miroku, and Kagome just rolled her eyes at their silliness.
“Oh Kagome! Now that I’m back party rules apply! No hands!” Miroku said nothing in response but Kagome groaned and Kagura cackled.
“So rude, but if you’re insisting,” she played along.
Kagura smiled, mouth full of teeth, “Oh we insist.”
Miroku laughed, “Well we’ll grab some whiskey,” Kagome groaned and the lovey dov e y pair laughed before Miroku went on, “and shots abound!” He hopped up and left, motioning for one of the other males to join him.
“Well if I am to be embarrassed it might as well be for a good cause,” Kagome laughed, as she got her big bag of everything out, and fished for a scrunchie. Grasping one, she put the bag down and proceeded to pull her hair up.
~
More beings, one human, one yokai, coming between him and the female, Kagome. This was getting annoying. However, the wind yokai was interesting, even more so that she got the annoying Eri out of the way. He would definitely be thanking her later.
He lost track of what was happening, but not before Kagome’s words sliced through the fog in his mind, he looked over to her. She tossed her head back, his eyes zeroed in on the length of her throat, his pants becoming uncomfortably tight at the sight, and then shook her head back and forth as she d r ug her fingers through her hair only to pull it up in a messy bun. She looked infinitely better with messy hair than she did with it perfectly curled and tame. Plus the curve of her neck made his stomach do flip, made his fang s ache to explore the tender skin of her now exposed neck to his gaze.
A ll he could think about was the possibility of getting her alone, and burying his fangs into any bit of her flesh that she would allow. The thought alone, was enough to make him more than a little uncomfortable and some shifting was done so that no one knew how bad his predicament was.
“Ugh! Just like Miroku to make a fool of you, Kagome!” Eri was foaming mad, so angry it gave Sesshōmaru whiplash.
“You’re just angry because you can’t possibly compete with Kagome now,” Kagura whispered, low enough for only him to hear. Even then he didn’t think she had meant for him to listen. Eri glared, not needing to hear her to know Kagura was gloating. Her smile and eyes alone were conveying the message just fine. Eri huffed, grabbed the first male nearest to her and left. Kagura’s eyes were full of victory, “Such a spoiled brat-”
“Kagura,” Kagome’s soft reprimand made Kagura stop her verbal barbs in an instant. It was something. Kagome had been nothing but pleasant, but something about her taking charge made his blood run faster, and he wondered if he had pegged her all wrong. He thought her a sweet, demure, little thing, could he have been wrong?
“Ugh! She’s just-”
“I understand. You two have never liked each other-”
“She treats you like shit and I can’t stand it! Best friend my ass. You let her-”
“I have said this before and I will say it again. Eri cares, in her own way, I know you cannot see it, and that is fine. You won; let it go,” Kagome’s defense of the other female gave him pause. She hadn’t wanted Eri to interfere, but she had rolled over for the other female to do so. Why then was she defending her now?
Kagura held her tongue but her face said they would speak of this again. H e was in agreement with Kagura, Eri was not a friend Kagome should choose to keep contact with. She was conniving.
The other female was gone, along with the other male. Now he needed the male with Miroku to be distracted so he could concentrate on Kagome’s attention being only on him.
The door burst open as Miroku waltzed in, alone. Sesshōmaru smirked as Miroku announced, “Ladies~! I’m back~ with more drinks!” three of the waitstaff came in and put a menagerie of bottles, glasses, and some more of the fantastic signature cocktail.
“Remember Kagome no hands~!” No hands? How would she drink with- oh, oh. No hands; indeed.
Kagome smiled and then looked at him, “Please don’t think badly of me,” before a shot was placed in front of her and she leaned over the table, wrapped her lips around the whole rim of the shot glass and threw her head back to take the shot, before placing the glass back on the table with only her mouth.
He was going to be hard for the rest of the night.
“Another!” Kagome whined pathetically at Miroku’s exuberance as he poured more shots for all four of them. Kagome’s smile however was all for him. He’d definitely have to thank Miroku for getting rid of the other male, and apparently procuring more yoki infused drinks. Tonight was going to be magnificent as he watched Kagome take another shot with no hands.
His beast looking on with determination.
~
Miroku and Kagura left after the fourth, or fifth(?), round of shots, and Sesshōmaru was beginning to think his cock would never deflate with each instance of Kagome using only her mouth to take them. Miroku had tried to interject between himself and Kagome but Kagura would inevitably pull his attention onto her and he was quite glad for such interference.
Especially as it was getting far too noticeable that Kagome was responding to the rise in his yoki as an unexpected consequence of the drinks they’d had. His system working overtime to purge all the excess from the liquor. Her reiryoku gave him slight brushes of her power here and there creating a sinful, and delightful bit of pain to entice him.
The moment the door closed behind Miroku he’d found himself with a lap full of miko, who looked at him with stormy blue eyes and he was pleased she was there. “Is this alright?” her demure ask had almost made him groan, he did little else, but watched as her teeth embedded in her lower lip and it was all he could do to resist temptation.
“As long as it is only you,” she blushed prettily at his response, and he was finding it hard to ask her permission. She was lovely, sweet, smelled phenomenal, and he had never felt desire like this.
Her blush deepened, “I want to kiss you.” He did groan only to find her lips against his, and then her tongue was in his mouth and he was lost in her taste, and scent, and he was going to fuck her right here.
Arms wrapped around his neck, as he swallowed her strangled moan when he began rocking his hips against her. Clawed hands found her hips to keep her in place, as red flooded his vision. Her arousal flooded the room and he swore it was bordering on black at the edges. He realized she needed to breathe, but he did not want to leave her lips, the small taste of her was not leveling out his need for her at all.
Kagome broke away first, and began grinding against his movements, and he needed to breathe through the discomfort. Her hair was still up, her dress still clinging to curves that captivated him, and he could see the shadow of cleavage if he looked down just right, also noting the absence of a bra. He whined, as he let fangs and lips tease the skin of her neck. “My room?” he wondered as he dared to taste the shadow between her breasts. Her teeth were embedded in her lower lip once more, and he took that morsel for himself.
“Anywhere,” she begged and he was not going to be able to get to his room in time if she kept that up. He tightened his hold on her hips, brought her more forcefully into him, if not for his pants still being on he’d be inside her. It was that revelation that gave him the discipline to stand up and move. The door was opened an instant later. He held her against him, letting her continue her grinding motions, as if she were a bitch in heat. His bitch in heat.
However, her lips were very distracting, as she pressed a kiss behind his ear lobe, before trailing her tongue from the fleshy bit of his ear up to the point. Lightning shot down his spine, and his vision went black for a moment, before he lost his balance completely as her lips found the stripes on his cheeks. He did whine, like a pathetic pup, but gods if she did that again his knees would buckle and she’d be in the receiving position a moment later.
He secretly hoped she would, there was a bar she could hold onto as he fucked her into oblivion. However, there were too many prying eyes and he would not chance his beast going feral. He pulled away just as her lips opened and her tongue came out to play. “You must wait, my room is not far and my stripes, are very, very, sensitive,” he kept his brisk pace, and he saw her pause. A wide cat like grin spread across her pretty lips, and he knew he said the wrong thing.
“Oh?” she buried her nails into his hair, scratching at his scalp as she positioned herself against him. Her breasts were now eye level, and she used her nails to tease. The feast for his eyes and the slight tickling sensation her nails were causing were almost too distracting. Then she was digging into the stripes on his shoulders and he stopped altogether to bury his face in her cleavage and groaned, “Fucking gods, bitch, if you do not calm down I will bend you over and have my way with you here.”
She laughed, before attacking his lips once more, sliding down his body, grinding against him once more. His vision faded to black and he lost himself to the beast prowling beneath his skin.

The taste of skin and sweat, the scent of persimmon blossoms and lightning, surrounding him as the sweet glide of her inner muscles clenched around him. Her face was buried in a pillow as she braced her hands against the wall trying to keep her head from banging against it. She was wet, and tight, and cumming around him as he drove into the bitch beneath him with all the vigor he possessed. Claws gripped hips as he made her take all of him.
The nape of her neck was on display, and he struck, fangs piercing skin, the taste of blood and lightning overwhelming his taste buds with every bite he made into her flesh. Her string of pleas, and gasping breaths as he sent her reeling with each harsh thrust into her.
Her scream as his yoki overwhelmed her, and her reiryoku responded, driving him to stretch her full and he was so thick, his knot ready to be encased within her warm depths. He grasped a handful of obsidian curls, and pulled her by the hair, she followed the movement with a hiss. “Beg for my knot,” he commanded. He heard her whine-
Pounding, loud, and harsh and it was right behind his eyes. The vision in his minds eye cleared and it seemed like the pounding wasn’t just in his head, but at his door.
The door burst open with the force of his brother’s pounding and there went more money on this godawful trip. “What the fuck man!” He winced, the harsh glare of the sun, and ringing in his ears f ro m his brother’s scream was enough for him to have Inu-Yasha by the throat.
“Shut your goddamn mouth. Why must you be so fucking loud,” his head was killing him, and he realized that he took someone to bed last night.
Kagome . The name came to him unbidden as his eyes went back to the bed to find it empty. No curly black haired bombshell, with blue eyes, was waiting for him, had he dreamed her? No. No he’d spent almost all night, and most of the morning with her as he was still exhausted f ro m their bed play. He didn’t think he’d ever been this tired after sex before. Where then had she gone?
“You disappeared man. Where the fuck did you go?”
“You had your tongue halfway to Sango’s tonsils I did not want to see the two of you fuck at the bar,” Sango turned bright red at Sesshōmaru’s response.
Inu-Yasha growled, “What I do with my mate-”
“Inu-Yasha my head is pounding. I drank far more than I needed. As you can see I am well,” he muttered as he tried to get the sun away from burning his eyes.
“Yeah but what happened? The room is wrecked, and it smells like persimmons, and se- did you fuck someone?!” Inu-Yasha’s voice raised two octaves higher, and set his hackles to raise.
He snarled the hand wrapped around Inu-Yasha’s throat tightened , shaking him roughly , “I f you cannot shut up I will rip your tongue out.” Inu-Yasha raised his hands in surrender, and Sesshōmaru dropped him.
“The female must have left, it’s no big deal it was merely a bit of fun,” but deep within him his beast rankled inside him at the insinuation, but he did not have enough brainpower to figure out why that was.
“Um, Sesshōmaru?” Sango’s voice was far quieter, he raised a brow at her, and she handed him an unfamiliar phone, “You might want to make sure that gets back to her.”
He looked down at the phone and discovered the fingerprint scanner was very sensitive as he had already locked the damnable thing for five minutes. He really hoped she had turned off the purge all data after a set number of being locked out. He’d hate to have to explain that.
“Hn.”
