Chapter Text

The scene opens up while TME waits for Atomsk to appear.

After a bit, you hear a jungle call.

TME blinks but given it sounded like the Tarzan call… he jumped out of the way and covered his head when he thought Atomsk was swinging in on a vine or something.

Funny enough, you hear footsteps and a voice.

“Why are you on the floor TME?”

“Huh?... wasn’t there going to be you swinging in or someone else doing that?” TME said when he looks bewildered when he looks to see Atomsk standing next to him.

“Hehe, sadly can’t hold on to a rope that long and plus… well not saying I’m afraid of heights but makes me nervous.” Atomsk said.

“Then who…” TME said as Emerald came by with a guy headlocked under his arm.

“Found this guy that Atomsk had come in to try and mess with you from what I can tell given that reaction… seriously Atomsk… TME is actually nervous you may not like this story idea so try and ease up on the first possible chapter…” Emerald said while he had a man in a loincloth dragged over and thrown through a portal and Emerald gave Atomsk an I’m watching you look as Emerald got behind the camera while TME looks confused.

“Geeze… someone get Lillum to calm him down. I mean call 911 lady.” Atomsk said before looking at TME.

“And dude. You have nothing to be nervous about. There’s no story we did or plan to do that I would possibly not like.”

“Wasn’t there stuff you wanted to do more than my ideas normally sometimes?” TME said as he got up while he dusted himself off.

“Well that was my bad. I got greedy. For now this is all about you.” Atomsk said.

Before TME could speak much… Emerald came by and moved to tap TME on the shoulder… he whispered in his ear and TME nods.

“OK… I’ll be taking over for TME for a bit mainly so I can explain the idea he wanted to do… mainly so TME can have a small break from things… enough said dude I’ll talk to you after TME leaves but boy howdy this will have to be off camera out of the Intro after things go to the story.” Emerald said as TME left while he looks a bit dazed as Emerald looks at Atomsk now when he assumed the co-host role for now.

“Anyway the idea is pretty simple, so simple that anything can happen from it… what if I or some other OC was given OP abilities yet they were used in ways to make a party they were working for more or less fire or have the main protagonist quit and stuff?... enough said this is mainly an AT type story but can be changed to a Sonic the Hedgehog type story or mix things but enough said this is a story idea where the protagonist unintentionally has an ability or two that is so OP… would make ME look weak and I’m one of TME’s more broken OC variants of Emerald… so that should say something… obviously your OC’s wouldn’t cause that version of me or anyone else you have in mind for the protag position but in a nutshell this story has three keys… an OP protagonist with a skill or two so strong that it makes others of similar classes weak in comparison… the S Rank party or a party trying to get to S Rank in a guild being assholes or something and firing the main protagonist and finally… enough said while there can be OP OC’s in their own right… least for the class… they may not be as OP as the main protagonist… mainly this is every OC haters nightmare more or less.” Emerald said while he shrugs his arms.

“I see… so it can be any OC that will have OP powers?… though how will it start actually?” Atomsk said.

“Well simple, first off given this is an experiment type… a variant of me for this story will be used… mainly so that things can get off the ground… if we have other ideas… can let Cedric lead another, Lillum, another, and Azure and so on… mainly this is just an experiment type first chapter but given things with the classes and stuff… may as well go a HEAVY AT inspired story with time being after the gum war… enough said more can be explained and we would have heavy Sonic character uses but lets just say TME had a lot of ideas given he watched a lot of Youtube channels dealing with OP OC’s and how rediculous their skills can get… I mean for example… in one series where the protagonist got betrayed by his own party in a bad way, the guy was so damn OP with a fixed damage radius skill the damage was 9999 at the START of the story more or less and got more deadly after… if you know your RPG terms… you should get how insane that was… and the protagonist of that manga was crippled with low physical attributes in exchange… again long story but TME was really excited to help make a new kind of series for you and him so you two had something to do.” Emerald said while he crossed his arms as he looks at Atomsk.

“Well I am interested so let’s get started. Maybe this time… we make it a Sonic story.” Atomsk said.

Emerald shrugs.

“Maybe… do you have a plot idea or something?... because while we could do that, would mean serious lack of AT characters unless we make mobian variants.” Emerald said while he points this out to Atomsk… it can happen but would mean the characters would shift a bit.

“Hmmmm… probably right. Then better do it AT style. Bring in the mobians and I guess the plot can be after the war… unless you want to go… 1000 years later.” Atomsk said.

“Hmmm… nah… lets go safe and say about… 20 to 30 years or so after the end of the Canon of Adventure time?... would mean that some characters would still be around and stuff to use like Finn later in the story instead of someone like Shermy if you get the idea…. We have a serious lack of Future characters on Ooo for the 1000 years later stuff… maybe in the future if we brainstorm things can happen… but again… best to be safe then sorry and get stalled with this.” Emerald said while he was ready to start now, but did want to do at least something a bit after the AT canon, not far in the future for safe reasons.

“Works for me. Let’s do this.” Atomsk said.

“Alright… time to have a version of me have serious depression now!” Emerald said while he looks abnormally serious.

“Wait wha-!” Atomsk tried to say as the scene shifts to…

Ooo/ 20 to 30 years after the end of the series canon/ an inn in the Candy Kingdom/ ???

“What do you mean I’m fired!?” A male voice said as the scene went to a high class looking Inn to show various humanoids in it… looks to be a team of 5 though 1 looked honestly shocked… the being was a average looking human of all things with some simple if practical looking clothing like a camo coat, black boots, and what not stands before a rather adonis looking humanoid male while female humanoids were near the adonis more or less look like beauties incarnate… one looked like a sorceress with a shapely body… another looked to be a white mage with a decent looking figure… and the other a thief with a petite body while the humanoid looking at the human looked to be some kind of warrior or knight given the armor.

“Like I said… your fired from this team… plain and simple…” The humanoid said as the human looks shocked when he heard this.

“H-Hold on I know I’m not the strongest here but I’m a guide remember!?... who maps the dungeons and plan things for us in advance?... I mean I helped you guys since the start to get to the level your at now!” The human said which… was odd but given how Ooo was changing… looks like something was altered in the way of the world long ago but before the human could say much more… the Sorcereress scoffed.

“Oh please… while its true you did help with SOME things… you mainly just helped with nothing BUT simple tasks?... who does the fighting?... Harold the Hero here since he was chosen by the Globs as this generations Hero class… who does the magic attack casting… I Vivian the Sorceress does that job… Bellum the White mage makes sure were in tip top shape and Gertrude here the thief makes it so that we can open treasure chests, scouts out things, and more… so what does a guide really do for this party with the level we all individually have?... you have always been stuck at level 1 for some reason so we had to cover for you for who knows how long… mainly you were helpful… but only because we needed a 5 man team to even get by restrictions but now that the party, the Indominus, hit S rank, we don’t need that kind of limit anymore… in fact I doubt the guild needs you anymore as well given how many high ranking parties there are in the Candy Kingdom… I mean seriously no one ever heard of a Guide class so that may as well be just basic of basics if all you can do just prep people.” Vivian said while she smirks cruelly at the human.

“Yeah. You’re no longer needed so goodbye.” Said one of the party members which was Bellum the white mage.

“What?... OK but seriously why!?... I mean sure if it was just that I get but…” the human tried to say as the thief Gertrude grins.

“What she is SAYING is that your guide services are no longer required… you're F-I-R-E-D… you got us to S-Rank… I mean you did help so can’t have you go unrewared… so…” Gertrude said when she tossed a large bag of gold to the human who caught it from habit given he was passed things a lot.

“There… reward for the last quest but a bit extra… figured you may need the travel funds to find another party to leech off of.” Gertrude said with a smirk as the Hero Herold laughs as he looks at the human.

“HAHAHA!... well you heard Gertrude Emerald…take the cash and leave… oh and make sure not to forget that bag of yours… something filthy like that… well doesn’t fit with us… in fact if you're worried about us don’t worry… we got a replacement for you already so… bye bye.” Harold said as the now identified human named Emerald… just looks shocked and well… in no time with Emerald barely remembering things… he was outside of the Inn and was more or less on his own with the bag of gold in his side bag.

“Replaced?... seriously?...” Emerald muttered while he had a thought.

“I mean sure… after the *Shift* in the natural order a few years ago… things like levels and stuff came into being with classes and levels showing what your best in…” Emerald thought as he walked with a depressed look through the candy kingdom.

“Normally ones level, starting at level one, shows how strong you are compared to monsters and various other beings… a class though shows your proficiency in how to grow… may as well be your calling in life…” Emerald thought as he got to a large massive structure in the center of the Candy Kingdom.

“Still… given I helped a lot of teams get stronger… may as well be no reason to stick around so may as well let the receptionist know that I’ll be leaving the kingdom soon… Doubt the Candy Kingdom needs a guide anymore for parties… especially with how weak I am…” Emerald thought as he got into the Guild building… given things changing over the years in Ooo after the Gum war… especially with something called the Shift happening… Guilds were made in various kingdoms for people with various classes… and people normally go from F in rank to Rank X… if you are in Rank S your already cream of the crop but X normally showed legendary status… more can be explained on things but think of the Land of Ooo currently under an RPG system more or less.

After a couple minutes of entering…

“Wait what?!... you a-are leaving the Candy K-Kingdom Emerald!?” A Cute receptionist named Clover, a humanoid Rabbit woman with white fur, a petite looking body under receptionist clothing, and she had a class called Receptionist showing she was good for deskwork more or less and excelled in various thought processes.

Emerald rubs the back of his head.

“Yeah well… given I was fired from the Indominus party, figured my skills could be used elsewhere… I mean… given most teams here are Rank C or higher now… no reason to have a weak guy like me around… I mean who needs a Guide class nowadays…” Emerald said while he looks a bit depressed.

Clover was shocked.

“That’s terrible! A team like that doesn’t deserve rank S. I mean you’re the reason they got far.”

“Eh… I doubt that… I mean I just sped up the process with my abilities… sooner or later they would have gotten that far in no time most likely even without my buffs and what not… so for now Clover, tell the Guildmaster and the others I’m sorry but I’m leaving the Candy Kingdom for a while…” Emerald said before he turned and starts walking to the front door while looking depressed.

Clover felt sad.

“When will you be back?”

“Probably not for a few years…” was all Emerald said before he exits the Guild building… funny enough from a side entrance… a team of four… with a Wolfman with blue fur in the lead with a couple swords and wore lightweight assassin gear, followed by a Female Black furred cat woman with red markings in her fur while she had skimpy Warlock armor, a pink hedgehog humanoid woman wearing a Knight armor with a massive warhammer in her hand and a green quilled woman similar to the hedgehog woman humanoid wearing bandit gear with two hand axes in her hands walked to Clover.

“Hey Clover… were back from that S ranked mission to end that horde of Undead.” the Black furred cat humanoid woman said as Clover sighs while she looks dejected.

“H-Hey Azure… Cedric… Maite… Surge… seems your team, Team Lightspeed, came back from the mission faster then most would again… but not fast enough for this emergency…” Clover said while she sets her head on the desk.

Surge raised an eyebrow.

“What’s that supposed to mean? And why the long face?”

“Simple… Emerald may as well be leaving the Candy Kingdom Guild.” Clover said while she looks at the four with teary eyes.

“What!?... OK unless Emerald did something why is Emerald leaving the Candy Kingdom Guild!?.... In the past 10 years he helped many parties get to where they are so why is he leaving!?” Azure said with a shocked look on her face and looks at the others to see if she heard right… funny enough seems Surge and Maite fainted and Cedric had to catch them… enough said they heard what Azure heard…

Clover then told Azure what happened with Emerald’s last group.

As this was explained… Surge, Azure, and Maite start to look more and more angered while Azure emits a black flame, Surge with electric energy and Maite… well one could practically FEEL the rage emitting from her.

“Team Indominus!?... you mean those rookie S-Rankers I heard about!?... you're telling me that the moment they got to S-Rank they THREW Emerald away!?” Maite growls while she looks absolutely livid.

Cedric, who was angry about that, was shuddering at the trio’s rage, same as Clover.

“Y-Yes. They tossed him aside.” Clover said.

“Which way did Emerald go Clover!?” Surge growls out as Clover crouched down in fright given she was normally shy.

“I-I don’t know!... he could be heading to any kingdom!... I’m sorry I couldn’t get more info!... I tried to stop Emerald I really did but he looked so depressed!... oh its like the past few teams all over again…” Clover said as Cedric, while angry, placed a hand on Surge’s shoulder and counter the shock with shocks of his own to negate the energy.

“Surge, enough… Clover shouldn’t have to take the brunt of your anger… is the Indominus team… if its their fault we can take it out on them if they show up acting like assholes… they could make it sound like Emerald quit on his own will… if we go rushing in things… YOU, Maite, AND Azure here will be thrown in jail for assault if we are not careful… remember that unless Emerald does something to try and get back in a team… we can’t exactly do anything otherwise we would be as bad as those Indominus assholes… besides one thing I DO know about Emerald… you as well as MANY in this guild know that if a kingdom needs a guild to train… if their numbers suddenly spike… we will find out where he is… Emerald may downplay his skills but if not for him… well enough said I’m sure Lady Marceline, Lady Bubblegum, and especially Lady Dawn will be PISSED like you three are… why get us in jail when we can just get the top of the kingdom to help… honestly the Guildmasters job may as well be on the line given they never did jack shit even after hearing complaints from others about various matters… and you KNOW how excited Bubblegum was to have Emerald in the Guild that was made when she heard what he can do… he may not be a fighter but he is no weakling by any means… you know that… I know that… but seems team Indominus doesn’t know that if they misunderstood something… being S-Rank rookies… well… if they want to get rid of the best way to keep that rank… may as well let them experience what true S-Rank missions are and see how fast they regret what happens.” Cedric said to try and talk reason into Surge and the other ladies.

Hearing this helped calm Maite down after hearing this.

“He’s right.” She said to Azure and Surge.

Azure on her end calms down before Surge growls but sighs and rubs her head and looks at Clover.

“Sorry Clov… didn’t mean to lose it on you.” Surge said when she apologized to the nervous Guild receptionist.

“N-Not your fault. I was upset about it too.” Clover said as she gets up.

“Where would Emerald be though…” Azure said while she rubs her head in a worried way…

Meanwhile…

“Man can’t believe that happened… still may as well plan some things…” Emerald, who was somehow a decent way from the Candy Kingdom already…

“May as well call her and see if she still has that offer for me…” Emerald cryptically said as he pulls out some kind of touchscreen phone and after he used someones contact…

“Hello?” a female voice said from the other end as Emerald smiles.

“Hey Shade… its me Emerald, been awhile since I and one of the teams I was on came by and helped you and the Nightmare Kingdom from that latest issue… how are you, Slumber, and Lullaby Princess doing?” Emerald said while he walked along a path.

Meanwhile in the Nightmare Kingdom…

Shade was GREATLY surprised when she heard from Emerald and she actually looks excited but she worked to calm herself so she could speak in a composed manner on her end.

“Oh we’re doing fine Emerald. Thank you again for your assistance. How are you doing?” Shade said.

“Well…” Emerald said while figuring keeping quiet about his firing for now would be best and he just scratched his cheek on his end.

“Well mainly I’m calling if that offer to help you with making a guild is still on the table or something, I’m free for now so figured I may as well help out around your kingdom for some time.” Emerald said as he tried to sound natural in the talk.

Shade felt super happy.

“Well that’s good. How soon can you get to my kingdom.”

“Hmmm… need to handle one final thing first in the fire Kingdom but after that I can come by to talk… that magical button you had me wish for still work in having me teleport to your throne room still work even after how long its been?” Emerald asked while he rummaged around a pocket and pulled out some kind of small device with a button in it.

Shade blinks about the fire Kingdom part.

“Yes. Though what do you need to do at the fire kingdom?”

“Oh, I finally found a magical spell that can stabalize the Flame Queen’s matrix… it took some work and stuff on my end but thanks to the stuff I do for Lady Life and Lord Death, managaed to figure out something… honestly it was so simple I’m surprised others didn’t do this earlier.” Emerald said with Shade actually having a shocked look given Phoebe had issues with romance with others given how unstable her matrix was.

“Seriously?!… you managed to find something to help with Phoebe’s matrix?!” Shade said.

“Yeah… I mean given my skills… it was simple so probably easy for others to do in a faster rate if they had the right help or the skills since I’m pretty low level, anyway I gotta go Shade so I’ll talk to you later… most likely in day or two if I have to take a long route to the Fire Kingdom… maybe a few hours if I just use a teleport spell stone I got from Huntress Wizard that one time… bye bye.” Emerald said before he hung up as Shade blinks… Emerald with low level?... maybe in actual level since he was always known as a level 1 guy but others being better in things?... a number of things had to be explained but given how Shade looks suspicious… she definitely thought something was up now.

‘Something must be wrong. Why is Emerald selling himself short? Need to dig up some info.’ Shade thought.

A moment later, she snapped her fingers and from a portal… Me-Mow of all people appeared from it with Bandit Princess!?

“Hey Me-Mow, Jasmine… I need a favor from my two Concubines and my best infiltrators… given you heard the conversation thanks to the skills I gave you, any issues in helping me figure out a few things with Emerald and why he is selling himself short?... given he helped you Jasmine with your rabies and more and with you Me-Mow with him healing that injury in the past… figured you two should be curious.” Shade said when she looks at Me-Mow and the now identified Jasmine with a serious look.

“Yeah… sounded odd when Emerald said that. So we’ll definitely find out what happen.” Me-Mow said.

“Alright… its in the Candy Kingdom… get ready to leave and make sure to use the disguise skills I gave you two so no one like Finn, Bubblegum, or Marceline will give you issues… seriously Finn and the others never visit after that Nightmare kingdom incident… can’t believe that I have to do this…” Shade said while she rubs her forehead.

Jasmine snorts.

“They never bothered to give your kingdom a chance. Plus Finn is more of a fool then those two royals.”

“Hey he helped put me in power, very least you can’t say that was bad… anyway just make sure you and Me-Mow don’t cause trouble… just in case… take this just in case… this should shut Bubblegum and others up… if they give you issues they will have to deal with ME personally if they give you issues.” Shade said when she gave Me-Mow and Jasmine special Nightmare Kingdom royal emblems.

“These are enchanted to make sure that no one will steal these and they can be used as communicators… if ANYONE gives issues and just showing these won’t work… call me and I’ll talk to whoever is giving issues.” Shade said when she crossed one leg over the other on her throne… she grew WELL over the years looking well like a supermodel of an adult woman with a shapely body… she wore a dark goth like dress which hid most of her figure while her long purple hair went well down her back and part of it covers one of her eyes in an alluring way.

“You got it boss.” Me-Mow said.

“Right… hehe… now I’m hoping someone gives us issues.” Jasmine said when she looks amused while Shade rolls her eyes.

“Just make sure not to start things and I’ll make sure you two are protected… remember that was the deal we had… you two work for me and be my concubines and I protect you by giving asylum in my kingdom.” Shade said while explaining why Me-Mow and Jasmine worked for Shade…

Given the shift that happened…

Shade has a unique class that showed Wish Master Princess.

Me-Mow’s unique class was Royal Concubine assassin.

Jasmine on her end had a unique class called Royal Ranked Thief.

And their levels showed that their literal levels were in the 30’s to 40’s…

Anyway the scene shifts to Emerald as he was humming while he was walking through the grasslands to a place where he could use the teleport stone… while this happens… Emerald saw a massive Slime-like monster appear before him and he smiles when he saw the massive beast instead of fear for some reason?

“Hey there Goliath… been awhile… hows my favorite King Slime doing in making a new kingdom in the grasslands.” Emerald said with a grin to the King Slime monster… unlike people from the Slime Kingdom, Slime monsters may as well be the less evolved cousins to them… so most Slime people try and make sure to not be associated with their more… savage brethren… still the way Emerald talked showed that he was… friendly to this huge and given the feeling… deadly ranked monster somehow?... didn’t seem to be able to talk given how monster-like it was…

The Slime monster gave a growl but not in a threatening way but uses it as a way to talk to Emerald.

Emerald chuckles at this while he rubs the back of his head… he wasn’t a Tamer by any means but he did help out Goliath when he was a little slime instead of killing him and now he and many of Goliath’s underlings were normally friendly to Emerald.

Though Emerald looks a bit sad.

“Hey Goliath… sorry but I have bad news… I was fired from another team again… Team Indominus this time… won’t give details but… after a trip to the Fire Kingdom, I maybe leaving Ooo’s normal areas for a bit to work in the Nightmare Kingdom… start fresh and stuff you know?” Emerald said while he scratched his cheek though Emerald jolts when Goliath acted like a big baby and gave cry like sounds as Emerald jolts.

“H-Hey!... I never said I wouldn’t visit right?... I mean I’m kind of a Globfather to your kids since I helped you find a Queen slime to marry and stuff… if it helps I could help take some of your kids with me and they can help me with some things so they could get experience… should make them serious Prince and Princess slimes.” Emerald said while he tried to cheer Goliath up a bit.

This seemed to help calm down Goliath as the idea to help his kids would be beneficial.

Emerald chuckles when he saw this and sighs.

“Mind bringing 5 of your kids here?... preferably one that has a forte in each element?” Emerald asked while he smiles kindly at Goliath.

Goliath nods his head and went to get his kids.

Emerald takes a moment to wait and Goliath semi-jumped/bounced back with 5 MUCH smaller versions of him barely above Emerald’s ankle in height compared to Goliath and his massive towering frame… Emerald smiles and knelt down when he saw 5 distinct looking Slime monsters, think classic Dragon Quest Slime monsters but with beady black eyes and a thin smile on their faces as Emerald grins at them.

“Hehe… definitely your kids with faces like that… looks like they got your looks more Goliath hehe… may as well be fighting Romancable slimes off looking this nice.” Emerald said while he grins at Goliath after complimenting his kids.

Goliath gave some chuckle like noise from the joke.

Emerald then looks at the kids before he grins at them.

“Well you 5… want to go on an adventure with Uncle Emerald?” Emerald said while he grins at the 5 small Slime kids.

The 5 slime kids gave excitable growls as they want to join Emerald.

“Hehe, nice… well Goliath, tell your mate I said hello, if she and you have more kids, let me know if I’m in the area and I’ll help train them up.” Emerald said while giving Goliath a thumbs up.

Goliath nods his head and wishes Emerald luck but also told him to keep his kids safe.

Emerald chuckles before he nods his head.

“You got it Goliath… do me a favor and make sure Ooo doesn’t get destroyed or something while I’m gone, Finn isn’t in Ooo all the time since he travels and stuff… and with some teams in the Candy Kingdom Guild… I worry for Ooo’s safety…” Emerald said before he rubs the back of his head while the 5 Slime kids moved to jump onto Emerald and goes into his bag like this was a thing they were told to do and Emerald waved to Goliath as Emerald walked from him.

Goliath gave a loud growl telling Emerald he will do so.

Emerald then left the Grasslands officially… after some time of walking, he was approaching the border of the Fire Kingdom… though before he could enter… he was stopped when he heard a voice.

“Hold it yous… why are yous… wait… Emerald?” Emerald heard making him look over to see the usual person or being many see before they enter the Fire kingdom border… Flambo the Flambit.

“Hehe… Hey Flambo… you still ripping rich people off with Flame shields like usual and giving discounts to those not so rich?” Emerald said while he grins at the small Flambit.

Flambo chuckles.

“You know it. What brings you by these borders?”

“Well…” Emerald said before he talked with Flambo near the Fire Kingdom border… surprisingly Emerald wasn’t burning in the fire kingdom despite him sitting on a large rock and stuff INSIDE of the border while Emerald finished explaining some things.

“... and so after I help Phoebe with her matrix so she can actually romance someone, I’m leaving Ooo to help Shade the Nightmare Princess and her sisters with opening a Nightmare Kingdom branch guild… enough said should give me something to do but… Sigh… maybe I should give up being an adventurer or something… either most teams I help either dump me the moment they get to A to S Rank or most just have me quit when they see I can’t do much besides simple support stuff…” Emerald said before he looks depressed while one of the Slime kids was patting Emerald’s back comfortingly while Flambo was given coal by one of the other slime kids as a snack.

Flambo was just shocked at the story but got angry.

“Those idiots! You did the work and seconds later they would throw you away. If I was bigger, I burn their hides.” He said.

“Eh… given most A to S rank teams are in their 20’s to 40’s… wouldn’t suggest it… besides probably my lot in life to be tossed away once my use is finished… given things with the Candy Kingdom, may as well call this my final mission in the Candy Kingdom area before I leave Ooo for some time… I’ll visit occasionally Flambo but unless things change… well… here… may as well be a farewell gift from me to you… took awhile to find it but…” Emerald said before he pulls out an abnormally large actual boulder sized piece of coal which… glowed and as Flambo gawked for a moment… Emerald passed Flambo a tiny hammer and a chisel for Flambo’s current size.

“There… enough said you can knock some off… took me awhile to get this made… consensed magical coal… figured if I’m gone for years may as well help pay off the tabs of some guys who you gave some freebies to in the past and stuff.” Emerald said while he rubs the back of his head with a grin as he looks at the Slime kids.

“Ok you 5… hop in the bag… may as well head to the Fire Kingdom before we head for our new home for some time so I can train you up proper.” Emerald said while he held his bag open.

The slime kids went inside the bag as Flambo crossed his arms.

“I’ll say this man, you can’t give up on the hero work. You can be like… the next Finn. I’m not bluffing about this. I mean sure enough, Finn might retire someday.”

“Eh his niece Bronwyn is a good heroine in her own right… besides…” Emerald said as he starts walking from Flambo.

“I barely have any attack skills to my name so the best I can be is just a trainer of heroes… honestly I don’t see me doing much of anything heroic.” Emerald said as he waved Flambo goodbye.

“We’ll see about that.” Flambo said as he was determined to prove Emerald wrong.

Still that could be awhile… for now Emerald keeps walking while he enjoyed the peace he got… he used a wave of his hand to open his status menu… it was something everyone had more or less explaining things when the camera focused on Emerald’s stats…

Honestly the skills seemed HEAVILY geared towards Emerald being a pure support for many teams though this would explain why many teams in the Candy Kingdom had such high levels in a short amount of time if what some said was true… Emerald was literally transferring ALL the boosted EXP he gained to many and with the multipliers and booster skills he had… it was no wonder he was always at level 1… though… Level Eater ??? … just what kind of skill was that?... though seems he had Elemental Attack/defense skill so would explain why he wasn’t burning in the Fire kingdom if this was a thing many adventurers could get… still given things Emerald barely seemed to have anything in the ways of attacks besides elemental attacks it sems… there were more skills but nothing like the ones listed showing they had some minor impact on what Emerald could do compared to the top skills he had… could change in the future but for now he was a heavy support guy.

But again looks like this would explain some things from some unanswered questions… but there were still many more to answer but for now those would have to be put on pause as Emerald came up to the Fire Kingdom… specifically the Castle and he stopped near some guards.

“Hey Biggs… Wedge… nice to see you guys again.” Emerald said getting the two Flame guards attention.

“Welcome back Emerald.” Biggs said.

“Doing more training man?” Wedge said.

“Nah… just finishing up some last minute business with the Queen of Flames Phoebe before I leave Ooo for the Nightmare Kingdom.” Emerald said while he rubs the back of his head.

Biggs and Wedge blink in surprise.

“What?… Leave Ooo? For what?” Wedge said.

“Eh… for being useless in teams it seems… can explain a lot but I’ll give a short answer… many teams just don’t need me when they hit a high level apparently… anyway can you give the Queen of Flames a message that project to fix her matrix that I was working on finally had a breakthrough?... enough said took a lot of blood, sweat, tears… I think someones pinky toe… and maybe part of a soul to do this but enough said the Queen of Flames should be able to romance someone… if she is busy then just pass her this.” Emerald said before he moved to give Biggs a nice looking gold bracelet with an orange gem.

“It can auto fit Phoebe, clean itself, and more… you can have others test it to make sure its legit if you doubt it but for now if I’m not allowed in the castle, I’ll just leave you guys alone.” Emerald said before he moved to walk from Biggs and Wedge.

Both guards were surprised as they whisper to one another.

“I can’t believe this happened to him.” Wedge whispers.

“Me neither. We can’t let him leave. I mean he actually found a cure for the Queen.” Biggs whispered.

Though before they could say much, Emerald pulls out some kind of item like some kind of device with a button it.

“Anyway fellahs, tell the Queen of Flames I wish her luck in her romance, I’ll be in the nightmare kingdom so see you in a few years.” Emerald said and when he hits the button… before Biggs and Wedge could stop him… Emerald vanished from their views.

“Damn it! We should’ve acted fast.” Biggs said.

“Yeah… to be honest, he could’ve been a good match for the Queen. Better than that Finn jerk.” Wedge said.

Funny enough as Wedge said that…

“I’m sorry but why did you just say Finn was a jerk?... sure we became friends but are you still salty about what happened 20+ years ago?” A female voice said making Biggs and Wedge jolt when they look to see Phoebe herself coming by and she looked like she developed WELL in her adult years… and she towered over Biggs and Wedge given she inherited her fathers DNA to some level so think of her similar to Canyon in being larger then humanoids but not to that level… mainly Phoebe shapeshifts to keep a manageable form but this was a good middle ground.

“M-My Queen… I didn’t know you heard that.” Wedge said.

“Well just part of that… was Finn here?... I sensed a much smaller heat signature showing a human heat level, heard he came back to Ooo recently with his niece and… oh thats some nice jewelry?... did you get something for your wife Biggs?... or did Wedge get this to show off before he gives it to his lady friend?” Phoebe said when she misunderstood things when she smiles at her guards.

Biggs spoke up.

“No, my Queen. It wasn’t Finn. It was that Emerald fellow. As for the bracelet, he got it for you.” He said before telling Phoebe what Emerald said and stuff.

“Wait… what!?” Phoebe said with a shocked look while a shapely blue flame female came by and she wore some cute glasses while she had a long blue flaming tail.

“Is everything OK Milady?... I heard shouting.” the blue flame woman said as Phoebe looks at her.

“B-Blaze… Biggs and Wedge just told me that Emerald left Ooo for the Nightmare Kingdom and possible for years and that he gave me a gift that… could fix my Matrix!” Phoebe said when she had the bracelet in her hand while she showed it to Blaze.

Blaze was a bit surprised.

“Is this for real?”

“We wouldn’t lie about it. We wanted to stop him from leaving but he already teleported away.” Wedge said.

“Teleported?... Milady before you try on this item… not like I’m doubting Emerald’s skills given he made a few items in the past and did some things for us before… but may I have some appraisers examine this to make sure this is a legit item that may help you?... swindlers tried to help you and were executed for failures and people with legit thought to help failed… I just don’t want you to get false hope…” Blaze said while she looks calmly at Phoebe while holding a hand for the bracelet.

Phoebe was quiet for a bit.

“Okay. Not like Emerald has ever deceived me but better to let someone check it first.”

After Blaze got the item… she did look a bit teasing.

“Still… if this item DOES make it so our lady is able to do things she was never able to do… given Finn is taken and at best is just a friend… I wonder if Milady will… repay this human Emerald for what he did… funny… given your age Milady… didn’t expect you to possibly go for younger men.” Blaze said with a teasing smirk as she walked away with the large bracelet in hand.

“H-Hey?!” Phoebe said while blushing a bit.

Blaze chuckles as she left Phoebe to her thoughts and while Phoebe blushed from the teasing while Biggs and Wedge look amused… though Phoebe, to distract herself, looks at Wedge.

“Don’t think I forgot what you said Wedge… I hope you can at least make it so if you have issues with Finn it doesn’t cause issues if Finn has to come by… he is still a friend… or do we have problems?” Phoebe said while she looks at her fiery guard.

Wedge jolts.

“N-No my Queen.”

“Good… I’ll be taking my leave but next time if ANYONE human like appears like Finn or maybe Emerald… don’t hesitate to report to me… for now I have things to do.” Phoebe said before she left Biggs and Wedge alone.

Biggs shook his head.

“You really need to be careful with your wording. I get you have distrust on Finn but… he has owned up to his mistakes and he and the Queen are friends till this very day. If things were different, they would’ve ended up together again.”

Wedge would have said something but grumbles things about him and his big mouth… as Biggs pats Wedge on his back… well the scene went to Emerald as he appeared in the Nightmare Kingdom a few minutes ago… more exactly the throne room… he was floating for a second before he lands on his feet gently and he rubs his head.

“Phew… man teleporting never gets old but seriously Shade’s teleport switch is a cut above the rest.” Emerald said while he smiles at the item… funny enough he heard Shade’s voice when she approached the throne room after sensing Emerald using the switch… it took a minute to get to the Nightmare kingdom from Ooo so she had time to see him arrive.

“Well thanks Emerald. Glad you made it.” Shade said.

“Thanks for the welcome Shade… sorry you had to do this and stuff.” Emerald said while smiling at Shade when he saw her.

“Oh no need for an apology. I’m happy to help.” Shade said.

“Thanks… oh and hold on… got company.” Emerald said when he opened the bag and smiles into it.

“Hey kids, you can come out now.” Emerald said as the 5 slime kids jump out and they look around curiously as Emerald looks at Shade.

“Say hello to Goliath’s kids Shade… figured since I would be here for some time, may as well help train some of Goliath’s kids for some time and make sure they are respectable Slime Royalty for monster Slimes.” Emerald said while he smiles when one of the Slime kids, a Water Slime, wobbles over and looks up at Shade curiously and gave her a cute eyesmile.

Shade gushes a bit.

“Awww… such a cutie.”

“Hehe I know right… Slumber and Lullaby may say the same when they see the kids… where are they by the way?... in their usual homes in different parts of the Nightmare Kingdom?” Emerald said while he approached Shade as she picked up the Water Slime kid to snuggle with it.

“Oh they are at their homes but, I already texted them you are here.” Shade said.

“Really?” Emerald said while he looks surprised, though he smiles at Shade.

“Well I guess before I can help with the Nightmare Kingdom Guild, may as well stick around the castle until your sisters are here…” Emerald said before he looks at the Slime kids.

“Now listen good kids… until we leave the Nightmare Kingdom, assume Shade here is your aunt alongside her sisters… Shade here in particular is helping me get a job so she is more or less our benefactor in the Nightmare Kingdom so treat her with the same respect, if not more you give your own mom and dad OK?” Emerald said while he looks at the 5 Slime kids to see if they got it.

The slime kids gave a few low growls showing they understood while Shade…

She did blush a bit to be called an aunt and if Emerald is the uncle, would make the two… married.

Though Emerald missed that as he stands fully as Pillowment butler came in.

“Milady… your sister have arrive and-WHAT ARE SLIME MONSTERS DOING IN THE CASTLE!?... AND YOUR HOLDING AN UNTAMED ONE AS WELL MILADY!?” Pillowment Butler said as Emerald, with a rare angered look when he saw the Slime kids look scared, looks seriously at Pillowmint Butler.

“Oi… Pillowment Butler… first off nice to see you but two… though not tamed since I have no taming skills… I know these kids father… Goliath who YOU know who helped out once in the past… and these kids… again Goliath’s kids trust me enough to listen to me even without a taming skill… they may as well be like family to me… I may not have many combat skills but I’m sure I got enough to give you a couple good whacks if you make these kids cry…” Emerald growls protectively as he cracks his knuckles ominously which start to emit steam like his hands would light up with fire or something.

Pillowmint Butler jolts at the look.

“O-Oh… I’m so sorry Emerald. I had no idea.”

Emerald takes a moment to calm down and breathed in before he looks at the Slime kids.

“Sorry for Pillowment Butler you 5… he doesn’t mean harm… unlike your dad and other Slimes in your family, some Slime monsters here are not… friendly so if you see strang Slime monsters that put you on edge, come to me or Shade OK?” Emerald said while he pets some of the Slime kids to help calm them down.

The slime kids did calm down a bit before they nod their heads as Shade frowns at her butler.

“Be careful with your wording next time Pillowmint.”

As Pillowment Butler jolts, Emerald came to his aid a little.

“Now now… the Slime kids calmed down and as long as Pillowment doesn’t give them issues, we're fine.” Emerald said while he smiles at Shade to calm her down.

Shade hums a bit.

“Alright.”

“Nice, anyway Shade, I’ll be going to wait in a waiting room so I can say hi to your sisters… wonder where Me-Mow and Jasmine are… they should be here yet they are not near you.” Emerald said while he left the room while Shade watched as the Slime kids follow Emerald loyally while Shade had a thought.

“Well they should be gathering info at this point on more… why are you here Emerald?... is it from those rumors or…” Shade thought while the scene went to the Candy kingdom and well…

Candy Kingdom/ Castle throne room/ Bubblegum, Me-Mow, Jasmine, Marceline

“And that is WHY we are here… those seals were legit and if not for that asshole of a so called Hero Harold, Jasmine and I would be well on our way BACK to the nightmare kingdom… honestly I don’t get how Emerald was apart of that fuckers team but he made Ash look like a gentlemen… Ash of ALL people… you have to be a new kind of low in arrogance to make Ash look good.” Me-Mow said while she looked LIVID right now… honestly many more people were in the throne room while Bubblegum looks livid herself for MANY reasons while she rubs the bridge of her nose.

“Hold on… so… in order… just to make sure I have this right… an S Rank Team… newly promoted called the Indominus got drunk from a party and because of VARIOUS chaotic situations their leader caused… your cover was blown which explains why your here… and they are more or less in jail for a couple days from getting too drunk… NOW you're telling me Emerald… a guy who may as well be a backbone to MY guilds team building more or less just… quit and he could now be in the Nightmare Kingdom of ALL places!?... Honestly I may understand a lot… the emblem is legit for the Nightmare kingdom so your not lying Me-Mow… but WHY would Emerald go to the Nightmare kingdom of all places and not tell anyone where he was going!?” Bubblegum said as Jasmine gave her a half lidded look.

“OK something tells me either you’re out of the loop if your Kingdom’s guildmaster hid things from you or your just too oblivious but Emerald was more or less fired or kicked out of most parties that Emerald helped mainly because he helped get them to A or S Ranking more or less… those idiots more or less thought that without Emerald they would be better off… the reason WHY Emerald knows Shade is from a past mission to the Nightmare kingdom a few times so Shade gave Emerald an offer to join a Guild she is making… but the kicker even Emerald doesn’t know… she is planning on making his stay so long term you may as well lose your main adventurer making bread and butter… Shade not only wants to make Emerald the Guild master to help train a guild that HE wants to make… but also make Emerald her suitor… well… maybe for Slumber and Lullaby as well since not many guys come to the Nightmare kingdom but one step at a time… point is your highness… if your this out of the loop… you may want to interrogate your head Guildmaster instead of Me-Mow and I… I got no more beef with you since Emerald helped cure my rabies and as for Me-Mow… well Emerald helped her a couple times so Me-Mow may have a bit of a crush herself.” Jasmine said while she nudged Me-Mow to mess with her.

“Hey?!” Me-Mow said as she looked embarrassed.

“Well I can’t lose Emerald. I’m gonna demote those Indominus team so low, they may as well live in the Nightosphere. And after that, I’m gonna fire that Guildmaster.” Bubblegum said with anger.

Me-Mow though shrugs an arm.

“You do that and you may as well run off all the Candy Kingdom Guildmates… enough said while Emerald did bring them up and he was more or less ran out… this guild has at minimum C-Rankers… you start firing people by being partial to one particular person… even if SOME teams stick around… I’m sure most will head for the hills and without Emerald… good luck getting new recruits… before Jasmine and I were found out, 40% of your taxes to the guild cover repairs, maintenance, and much more for the Gumball guardians and some of that 40% is for you Banana guards salaries… before you ask…” Me-Mow said when she pulls out a contract.

“You signed this contract with the guildmaster so unless there is a loophole, while you could get rid of team ranks… your stuck with this guy for a year longer at least… also yes I did sneak into the Guild masters office… seriously low security… level 20 bastard my ass… I think you were jipped because the guy acted like a lazy ass… hell I saw him sleeping with a bottle of alchohol in a hammock instead of signing letters you sent him on reports on team statuses… unless you were given fake stuff by the bad teams ditching Emerald… I think most in the guild are playing you.” Me-Mow said while she passed Bubblegum and Marceline the contract and what not as Marceline could hear a literal glass shatter sound from Bubblegum’s mind somehow.

“Oh boy.” Marceline said while she saw Bubblegum smile.

“Thank you… given things I may not be able to do things to force Emerald back but could you please tell him a message for me when you return to the Nightmare kingdom?” Bubblegum asked with a smile so sweet it made Me-Mow and Jasmine look nervous when they didn’t know what Bubblegum was planning right now.

“U-Um… sure.” Me-Mow said.

Bubblegum smiles ominously before the scene went back to Emerald as he played with a few of the Slime kids in a wrestling match of sorts while Shade walked in the waiting room with Slumber and Lullaby princess while Emerald laughs as he was pinned by the 5 Slime kids.

“Hehe… Ok you 5 I lose!... I submit to the power of the slime!” Emerald said in mock defeat as the Slime kids, being a bit gullible lightly bounce giving gurgle like giggles as they eyesmile at one another as Emerald pretends to be defeated… though when he saw the three Princesses, he winked at them to have them wait for a second so the kids could calm down.

The trio did blush before Lullaby giggles.

“He’s definitely good with kids.”

This had the Slime kids stop hopping on Emerald and they turned to look at Shade and the other royals and they eyesmile when they hop to bounce around their Aunt* as Emerald sat up with a groan while he chuckles.

“H-Hehe… hey ladies… sorry about you three seeing that, kids were getting antsy and stuff.” Emerald said while he rubs his head as the 5 Slime kids look at the other two royals curiously and cutely with tilted bodies showing their own way of tilted heads.

Slumber chuckles.

“It’s all cool, Emerald.” She said with a peace sign.

“Nice… still may as well get to the heart of the matter but Shade, you invited me here to help train a group of adventurers and make a Guild right?.... Do you have a guild master and do you know how hard it would be to have one ran?... not only would there be tax levels set by laws agreed to by many royals, there are also various other factors as well.” Emerald said as Shade smirks.

“Like I care… my kingdom doesn’t live in the general Royals view… I can set the tax and put whoever I want in charge of a Guild to my liking… the Tax rate for guilds is outrageous anyway, 40 to 50% take?... Honestly that is just stealing from the adventurers and giving to the Royals… granted there are taxed for things like medical and repairs but for other stuff… not so much makes sense in some kingdoms.” Shade said when she bent down and pets a couple of the Slime kids on their heads as Slumber and Lullaby play a bit with a Slime kid or two.

“I agree on that.” Lullaby said.

“Really?” Emerald said as Slumber smirks.

“Emerald… who has the most sweet power among all royals who can do things that would make a tax a simple thing just for face values sake?” Slumber said as Emerald blushed.

“Oh… right the all powerful wish granting Globbess of the shadows.” Emerald said while he smiles as he looks at Shade for a second.

“Bingo.” Shade said as the slime child relaxed in her arms.

A moment later though… many jolt when a loud boom happened as a Shadow guard ran in.

“Milady!... we have an issue with the dungeon… a X Rank monster got free!... the rookie adventurers are in serious danger and even Finn the Human and Bronwyn the heroine who were called here are in serious danger even if they are in their level 30’s to 40’s!” A Shadow guard said as Emerald looks shocked like Shade was.

“Shade… you have some serious explaining to do if you made a Dungeon with X ranked monsters later… for now I wish all of us in this room were teleported to where the monster was, more exact with the newbies, Finn, and Bronwyn!” Emerald said when he quickly got serious and looks at Shade with the wish used.

Shade quickly snapped her fingers and the group were teleported.

As this happened… an aged up Finn the human, an aged up Bronwyn, and a group of various humanoids and friendly beings, about 3 of them, were more or less standing in fear behind Finn and Bronwyn… Finn looked like his Fionna and Cake self, just a LOT more damaged and missing his robotic arm… again… and Bronwyn, while she grew VERY well gaining a more curvy figure… she held her bleeding side as she, Finn, and many more saw something horrifying before them… an X ranked monster of all things… even the defenses of Shade’s restraints to try and contain this monster were barely holding and the monster looked like a classic black colored Fantasy looking dragon… an Abyss Dragon… something that may as well manipulate shadows to near or if possible… surpasses Shade’s control of shadows…

“F-Fuck!... where did this guy come from!?” Finn said while he held his sword in his good arm but when he checked the beasts stats… he was floored mentally when he saw the monster having a limit breaking level of over 150… WELL beyond what anyone can do individually…

Hell some of the rookies just pissed their pants or fell on their asses as Bronwyn looks at a nearby Shadow guard.

“Hey get these guys as far from this place as-!” Bronwyn tried to say as Finn looks alarmed.

“Bronwyn don’t look away from that monster!” Finn called and as Bronwyn looks back… she saw right before her a deadly claw… inches from her eyes… hell her life flashed before her eyes and while the claw went where Bronwyn was… Finn screams in agony.

“BRONWYN!” Finn called in shock but.

“U-Uncle?... w-what just…” Bronwyn said not where her remains WOULD be if she was still there which was a shocker… but from behind the rookies!?

This made many look back and even the Abyss Dragon looks surprised when he didn’t feel Bronwyn’s corpse on his claws… when he looks over… he saw to his surprise newcomers… Shade, Slumber, and Lullaby Princess… a Shadow Guard… some… shaking in fear Slime kids?... and… a seemingly underwhelming human?... though somehow Bronwyn while looking shocked beyond belief had a hand on her back as the seemingly average looking human knelt down next to her with a gentle smile.

“Phew… honestly I’m glad we made it in time… seriously… nice to meet you by the way officially Bronwyn… Finn, heard about you two from Bubblegum and your mom Minerva Finn…as for the rest of you Rookies… my name is Emerald, glad I was able to cast that spell in time.” Emerald said while he smiles as he used a spell to help calm Bronwyn down as he got up after rubbing her back.

“T-Thanks.” Bronwyn said.

“No problem… so an abyss Dragon?... been awhile since I ran into one… this one looks stronger though… definitely X-Rank instead of A to S Rank.” Emerald said while he got up and many got windows before them that more or less asked many to accept an invitation to Emerald’s party for some reason confusing many… hell even Shade, Slumber, and Lullaby got the same thing but unlike most who were confused… the three Royals and even the Slime kids who had the window appear clicked yes making them all go in Emerald’s party for some reason.

When Shade saw the confusion from others.

“I would highly suggest that unless you wish to die… I would suggest accepting Emerald’s invite.” Shade said with a serious look on her face.

“Take the advice dude and dudettes.” Slumber said.

Many were confused as the Abyss Dragon looks pissed and roars giving many a serious debuff to their defense and offense so many didn’t have a choice as the rookies all hit accept showing to Emerald their levels were in the high 20’s to low 30’s… as Emerald surprisingly walked forwards… Shade glances as Finn and Bronwyn who were the last to even hit the yes or no option…

Said duo saw the look and well…

“Well… we definitely need help against that thing.” Finn said.

Finn then hits yes while Bronwyn hits yes as well when she followed her Uncle's lead… this had Emerald smile when he saw that Finn was in the high 40’s and Bronwyn was in her late 30’s in the level list.

“I see… this will be more then enough… I’ll make sure to repay you all for this.” Emerald cryptically said as Shade smiles.

“Emerald… just make sure to end this in a spectacular way and I’ll handle the info coverage… we can deal with getting many strong again… best to live and fight another day after all right?” Shade said with a smirk on her face REALLY confusing many as Emerald walked by Finn while Emerald shockingly walked towards the Abyss Dragon WITHOUT a weapon!?... this enraged the Abyss Dragon immensely… so much so that its form warped as it went into what many would call into an overdrive state where it was like the Boss’s final form… so in a nutshell… many besides Shade, Slumber, and Lullaby look stunned silent as Emerald’s eyes were hidden by the hair in his face as the Abyss dragon looks like something straight out of someones nightmares…

“Oh… dear… Glob…” One Rookie said as Shade smiles.

“Easy there… if it was just us I would worry… however… even with this Debuff… even with this boss in their current state…” Shade said as many saw to their bewilderment as their levels all slowly drop?... some slow like the Slime kids who went back to level 1… Shade, Slumber, and Lullaby went to Level 1… the rookies all shockingly went to level 1… Finn… Bronwyn… they both shockingly went to level one…

“What the flip!?” Finn said as Bronwyn noticed something in the parties Status window.

“H-Hold on… is this thing glitched!?” Bronwyn said as Emerald breathed in as Emerald’s body starts to emit a gentle glow from parts of his body in a mist like fashion as Shade smirks when she saw Emerald’s level rising from level one… all the way to a shocking 310+ either the status window was broken or… (Play Black clover Opening 1 music from here on out.)

“Oh it's not glitch Bronwyn… THIS… is Emerald’s main skill as a Guide Class… Level Eater… everyone in Emerald’s party has their level devoured… reset their level back to 1… in exchange… for a short time for a unique power up… Emerald momentarily gains a level so high that no one can naturally get to it…” Shade said as the Abyss Dragon even in their current state was shocked before Emerald breathed in before Shade grins darkly as Emerald’s eyes opened wide as his level suddenly dropped but… Shade’s grin went wider as she made many’s eyes widen in absolute shock when she explained something as Emerald’s level went all the way back down to 1.

“That is just one part of Level eater… another is the REAL crux of this skill… by devouring all his allies levels… for a VERY short time… and I mean for a very short time…” Shade said while she licks her lips as Emerald leaned forward and Shade grins in a more wild way when Emerald was already before the Abyss Dragon with a fist drawn back.

“Emerald’s level may have shown 300+ but…” Shade said as Emerald threw the punch and with one good attack… the Abyss dragon was destroyed in one solid hit making many fall back as Shade grins more.

“When he uses the Level eater ability second stage… in exchange for that momentary boost being shortened depending on how many levels he sacrifices… his actual level in ONE attack… gets boosted to the point that Emerald’s level for one brief moment…” Shade said as Emerald lands on his feet and dusts himself off.

“Well… his level… would have been easily well over 1200 for a moment…” Shade said when she smirks at many who had comically wide eyes from this info dump and many were more shocked when their levels went from suddenly level 1 ALL the way to over 60+ for MANY… besides Emerald?... he… stuck around 1?

“Sweet Glob!” The rookies said with wide eyes.

Finn and Bronwyn was also shocked at the news.

“B-But why is Emerald Level 1 when he can be more?” Bronwyn said.

“Like I said… he may have drained the levels from you, but he devoured his own after to get that huge one power boost… enough said he also has a skill though that may as well be a detriment in that he has a togglable ability called Experience cancelation which makes it impossible for him to gain levels normally… if he turned it off he would have gained some levels just now but given his mentality… he keeps his on so others can get levels instead of him.” Shade said while Emerald, after he dusts himself off looks at Shade.

“Oh come on Shade you know that I am more of a guy who helps others get stronger, I normally don’t use Level Eater unless dangerous abnormal S or X rank monsters show up and… other situations…” Emerald said while he was cryptic on the other situations part but looks like he didn’t use Level eater just for any monster.

“You mean you used it on other monsters… like that?” Finn said.

“Well not normally, I mean I just said for abnormal situations, most times I’m just your friendly neighborhood Guide class guy Emerald, always stuck at level 1 helping others level up fast.” Emerald said while he grins at Finn before he looks up.

“Oh… look here comes the drops for the battle.” Emerald said when he saw many items fall to the ground near Emerald and others in the party… honestly Finn got one hell of a Dragon themed sword to fall near him while Bronwyn got a set of deadly looking daggers as well… others in the Rookie squad got various items based on their classes while Shade, Slumber, and Lullaby princess got various Royal dragon themed dresses… Emerald got a new bag?... this got Emerald oddly excited though.

“Oh!... a better inventory bag!... hehe… can hold my old one in it so I can repair it and use this as my main holding bag now.” Emerald said when he looks like a kid at a candy store… but compared to the others he may as well have gotten one item only?

“That’s all you're getting emerald?” Shade said as the rookies grabs a few things.

“Well there is only so much the boss can give out as loot, I mean with how many in my party so to speak, had to divide things by contribution then actual damage, I mean the Rookies, Finn, and Bronwyn had a serious time here holding this guy yet we just showed up and I took down the Abyss dragon in one hit, not much of a contribution if you think about it.” Emerald said while he shrugs his arms after equipping the Dragon themed soulder bag while putting his old one inside of it for now.

“Yeah… seems I need to up my training. Still thanks for the save man.” Finn said.

“No problem… though now that you are in your level 60’s instead of your 40’s, should have an easier time in Rank B to A dungeons solo with the right prepwork… take a look at your stats now.” Emerald said while smiling at Finn… many did get leveled to 60 besides himself so they may have forgot that little bit of info.

“Oh man he’s right!” One rookie said as Bronwyn and Finn were surprised as they checked their stats.

Turns out it was true… their levels were at, if not close to, level 60… WELL beyond what their normal level was so even if they were booted back to level 1, thanks to Emerald’s skills, they were WELL beyond what they were originally at… especially the rookies who were level 20’s to 30’s earlier and Finn and Bronwyn was 40’s or close to that earlier… so in a nutshell many gained a positive in many ways for this boss level kill.

“Indeed… anyway let me introduce you fully everyone… and as well to you Finn, Bronwyn… didn’t expect you two here after so long of not hearing much but guess some things happened for you two to be here… let me introduce you to Emerald… he has the Guide class that as far as I know… only HE has… and may as well tell you Rookies… he is your new Guildmaster.” Shade said with a smirk as Emerald looks surprised.

“Huh?” Emerald said when that was news to him and the scene fades to black on his bewildered look on his face having the chapter end on a comical moment.

Chapter Text

A scene opens up with Atomsk waiting for TME to appear.

TME appeared from a portal while he rubs the back of his head.

“Hey good news Atomsk, just finished posting the chapter for A Helpful Guide Chapter 1.” TME said while he looks for Atomsk for a moment.

“Nice. Now we can focus on chapter 2. Which will have good laughs.” Atomsk said.

“Yup and lemons given I put as a tag on AO3 lemons would happen from chapter 2 onward… enough said figured I would prep the readers… but I do want to explain two things to them before we start this chapter… do you mind?” TME said while he looks at Atomsk curiously.

“Go ahead.” Atomsk said.

“Alright… anyway dear readers I hoped you like chapter 1 but I should tell you two things… first Emerald here while OP under the right conditions is normally VERY weak as a protagonist… enough said its thanks to his skills that he can get as strong as he can and more… Level Eater as the name implies means he literally devours levels, normally that would be a serious detriment but thanks to his level gaining skills and with parties as well… as long as serious threats are low, Emerald can help teams get strong VERY fast… there will be an explanation on WHY many teams from Ooo, mainly the candy kingdom are in their 20’s to 40’s but thats for in the story… anyway Atomsk, got any questions if you were a reader and want to ask something for them?” TME asked while he looks at Atomsk curiously.

“Yeah, think Cedric’s team will confront Bubblegum regarding Emerald or will they just use his nose to track his scent?” Atomsk said.

“Hey?!” Cedric said behind the camera as he was not amused at the joke.

“Eh… I would have more issues with Bubblegum and the Guildmaster then Cedric’s team confronting Bubblegum… can show things in the chapter but thanks to Me-Mow and Jasmine, Bubblegum would tell Team Lightspeed where Emerald is so who knows, they can travel to the Nightmare kingdom though that would take a couple days or so given how far the place is from Ooo’s borders… in the Nameless kingdom game, the kingdom was far from Ooo so it may not even be on Ooo’s usual maps unless it was updated to be a foreign kingdom so its not legitimized fully as a kingdom under the Ooo’s usual circle of Ooo’s royal powerhouses like the Candy, Fire, Slime, and other kingdoms that work within those circles… so no Cedric won’t have to use his nose… just a updated map with his team so they won’t get lost.” TME said while he rubs his chin.

“Okay, makes sense.” Atomsk said as Cedric grumbled while thinking of payback to his creator.

TME though whispered to Cedric for a second.

“Don’t worry, considering things you may get a few new ladies to have fun with well before running back into Emerald again and stuff, just saying.” TME whispered low enough so Atomsk wouldn’t hear… guess TME had some ladies in mind for Cedric to get with and stuff as well.

This seemed to calm down Cedric after hearing that before nodding at TME.

“OK… my second thing here is that this Emerald while again OP is more of a backline fighter then a normal fighter… unless extreme situations happen… he won’t be fighting much… last chapter his level shot back down to level 1 while others gained a level 60 boost so enough said Emerald here maybe OP… but only against monsters no one else can take down… think like this… Emerald here has two sides… a switch he flips… one is being so weak in high level dungeons he has to hide for his own safety while others level… and the other is the OP version Emerald can take while he uses Level Eater… making him so OP he is like the Saitama of this story… unless abnormal monsters show up that match even Emerald’s combined drained level… he won’t have many issues… mainly the real kicker of this story is as you probably guessed… making one of the strongest guilds Ooo has ever saw and more.” TME said while he grins at the readers now.

“Right and helping the rookies level up, it’s like that item in those pokemon games that shares the experience.” Atomsk said.

“That's the general idea… Emerald here has level up boosting abilities, an EXP share type skill so others can get the experience equally, and an EXP zero skill for himself so he is always level 1 so others get a stronger EXP boost effect in exchange, enough said this Emerald is OP for leveling up others and when needed, using those levels to take down monsters of such high level that others would have it impossible to even think of taking down… enough said you saw the broken levels the Abyss Dragon had… 150… Emerald went all the way after absorbing everyones levels to 310+... enough said you can get that there is well beyond 99 for everyone in terms of levels in this world… an Ooo with a beyond possible 1000 level cap… so we could be just scratching the surface in terms of how dangerous monsters are… for all we know… the Rank X Abyss Dragon COULD be actually the true Rank C monster at least to certain people of strength…” TME said while grinning ominously at others.

“Right… I see what you mean.” Atomsk said.

“Yeah… anyway shall we resume from where last chapter ended?” TME said while he looks at Atomsk curiously.

“Oh yeah. Story time.” Atomsk said.

“Nice… again this starts out from last chapter so…” TME said as the scene shifts…

Nightmare Kingdom/ Emerald, Finn, Bronwyn, Rookies, Shade, Slumber, Lullaby, 5 Slime kids, Shadow guard

“Huh?” Emerald said with a bewildered look on his face while showing this chapter did start after the end of the last one showing that this chapter ended after Shade surprised Emerald with a Guild master position of all things after she smirked.

“You heard me Emerald, being a Guild Master is perfect for you.” Shade said.

“But I’m not a Guild master or ever have been one!... I’m normally in the backlines helping people level!” Emerald said while he looks shocked Shade even suggested Guildmaster position to Emerald.

“And who said you had to stick behind a desk or something?... your helping build up a new guild from scratch… you already got a group of Rookies in their 60’s from one battle alone going well beyond what S rank parties in many kingdoms can do and more or less got them equipment that makes other legendary items look like trash in comparison… honestly no one else is better suited for this job then you and when new recruits come by, you can train them up.” Shade said when she smirks at Emerald while said Guildmaster just had a dropped jaw.

“B-But what of Finn or Bronwyn?... I mean if they are here, why not have one of them be a Guildmaster?” Emerald said as Shade gave a sideways look at the duo.

“Honestly I’m surprised they are even here since I wasn’t told about this… not like I’m complaining but it seems it takes an emergency so Finn and I can see one another again… speaking of which… WHY are you two here by the way?” Shade said when she looks at the duo curiously.

“Well… Pillowmint Butler sent me a message saying that you needed me to come over and that before we got to the castle, we saw the rookies getting in serious trouble.” Finn said.

“Huh?... I never sent a message.” Shade said while Emerald, sweatdropping, scratched his cheek.

“You know… I heard rumors Peppermint Butler occasionally tried to set up Bubblegum on Suitor lists sometimes in the past before she and Marceline got back together… you don’t think…” Emerald said while he sweatdrops more as many look at Emerald…

Shade frowns.

“Oh he’s in big trouble.” He said making Finn blink till he put things together.

“Wait… he was trying to hook me up with Shade?”

“Most likely… I mean you are the hero of Ooo and he was probably trying to get you to visit so probably was desperate and stuff… I mean no disrespect but I never heard of Shade or her sisters interested in a man or even women so…” Emerald said before shrugging.

“He probably just wanted Shade and her sisters to be happy so I would suggest giving the guy a break with this one… besides if not suitors, why not take advantage of this with hanging out since its been awhile with Finn… right Shade?” Emerald said while he smiles at Shade.

“Hmmm… true…. Even though Finn hasn’t visited for a while.” Shade said.

“Yeah… I’m really sorry for that Shade.” Finn said as he felt awkward.

“I don’t have a good excuse… but will make up for lost time and stuff.”

“Hmmm… OH!... hey Shade, before we leave… three wishes please… first can you put everyone here back at 100% health and repair Finn’s broken robotic arm?... Bubblegum may have a field day if she sees Finn’s damaged arm and hears about the Abyss Dragon and its level.” Emerald said when he went over the first of the three wishes… sensible one as well.

Shade looks at Finn’s arm and it was indeed busted.

“Alright.” She said before snapping her fingers.

This had everyone glow and more or less back at 100% health… even Finn’s robotic arm was restored to a brand new shiny state.

“Wow!... thanks Shade!” Finn said when he looks at his robo arm.

“Welcome though I could make it so you have two normal arms again.” Shade said while she shrugs an arm since the other held one Slime kid.

“Really?” Finn said with a surprise look.

“Finn… you remember WHO you are talking to right?” Shade said with a smirk as Emerald chuckles.

“Hehe… hope his answer is the all powerful wish granting Globbess who can more or less make most Mortal bound woman jealous in many ways in what she can do and more.” Emerald said with a grin when he compliments Shade in many ways in one go.

Shade did blush before Finn spoke up.

“Shade… I wish I have a normal arm.”

Shade didn’t say much but she did snap her fingers as Finn’s robotic arm warped and looks human instantly… Finn could FEEL things like he had his old arm back again and beefy just like his current aged arm.

“There… even threw in some bells and whistles… can undo it at will and even change the arm to become an elemental based one depending on where you are and how strong your will for a certain elemental attack and stuff.” Shade said when she seemed to go all out based on Emerald’s compliments to her and stuff which made many of the Slime kids around Slumber and Lullaby giggle.

“Cool.” Finn said while feeling very happy as he comically went to hug Shade.

Shade blushed more while the Slime kid in her arms made a squish sound as they were pressed between the duo’s chests to a comical level as Emerald moved to help.

“H-Hey!... easy with the hugs man… you're hurting a Slime Kid from a King Slime I know… don’t want to tell Goliath why he is missing one kid.” Emerald said while he moved to pull the Slime kid from the hug and the Slime kid was dazed and looks a bit dizzy from the sudden squish.

This made Finn jolts.

“Oh man… sorry little guy.”

The Slime kid just gave a simple wave before falling back in a knocked out state in Emerald’s arms… hey even if the Slime kids did get a level 60 boost, they were still small compared to Finn and Emerald chuckles as he looks at Finn.

“Hehe… no worries… just make sure to control that strength otherwise you may harm Shade with those beefy arms… seriously one of them is like the size of my head.” Emerald said when he saw how massive Finn’s arms looked.

Finn chuckles nervously.

“Well I do work out.” He said.

“Right… anyway Shade… this can be optional but why not have my second wish for those over a certain age here go back to being 18 or something?... should make it so if we have people joining the guild or something, they get put in their prime more or less, can be held onto a one time age reverting consumable so if Finn here gets into his 60’s to 70’s in the future, can get a one time age back to an 18 year old body and stuff… should be a good reward for him for helping you getting your throne and stuff or he can give it to someone else… not sure if he will join the guild here in the Nightmare kingdom but should be good.” Emerald said while he smiles at Shade.

Shade hums a bit.

“Alright then.” She said before snapping her fingers.

A moment later… a multi-colored space like sparkling orb appeared in everyone’s hands, Emerald’s as well and a orb appeared inside each of the Slime kids floating in them making them look like they had Slime cores.

“There… De-agifying one time orbs… just press it against your chest and you’ll be 18 again… for the Slime kids… well they won’t have to worry about that, when they are about to die of old age… made it so that they will automatically make it so they are so small and squishy cute again.” Shade said when she smiles at the Slime kids when she seemed to adore them immensely.

The slime kids looked at the orbs before they went to touch it.

This had the De-agifying orb wiggle around in them making them giggle when the movement felt funny as Shade smiles more at how cute they looked… Bronwyn blushed when she heard this and she moved to pocket the orb for now since she looked good as a 30ish something aged adult lady.

She did look curious since she saw the Slime kids.

“So… who are these little guys?” Bronwyn said as Emerald smiles at her.

“Hehe… well you know the King Slime that resides in the Grasslands?... the King Slime that resides there with a Queen Slime is called Goliath, helped him when he was a simple Slime and now he pretty much rules Slime kind… least the monster types… I offered to help raise his kids for a bit… guy is a bit of a crybaby even at his age when I told him I would be leaving for some time for the Nightmare kingdom… balled his slime eyes out when he heard that I may not return for a few years.” Emerald said while he rubs the back of his head.

“Wait, leaving? For what?” Finn said.

After hearing the story from Shade…

“Oh those idiots!” Finn said as he was upset.

“Wait when did you hear this?” Emerald said as Shade smirks when she held up a special item in her hand.

“Me-Mow and Jasmine were sent to investigate some things since you were being pretty secretive… seems that they were found out thanks to the party you formerly worked for… enough said Me-Mow had the brains with Jasmine to leave this on auto-record and transfer so I could hear EVERYTHING that went down in the candy kingdom… so Me-Mow and Jasmine should be back in…” Shade said as two beings flicker to appear near Shade.

“Finally back!... didn’t think those questions would ever end… Bubblebutt really wanted every detail before she would rip that Guildmaster a new one.” Me-Mow said when she appeared in her travel gear and didn’t see Finn or Bronwyn yet as she was looking at Jasmine.

“No kidding. Would’ve been funny to see.” Jasmine said till she noticed Finn and Bronwyn.

“Crap.” Jasmine said.

“Huh?” Me-Mow said when she saw everyone as Shade smirks.

“Welcome back girls… heard everything… and NO Finn you can’t harm or arrest these two… they are my concubines when not on a job and when on one… my royal Assassins and infiltrators… enough said you harm them, you have to deal with me.” Shade said while she smirks at Finn and Bronwyn by proxy who look on guard when they saw Me-Mow and Jasmine.

This floored Finn and Bronwyn when they heard that as Me-Mow smirks.

“That’s right. Can’t do anything to us now.”

“Indeed… and given things… Me-Mow… Jasmine… consider yourselves under Emerald’s care… the Guild Master of the Nightmare Guild will need helpers and bodyguards to make sure that the guild to be doesn’t have many issues in being made.” Shade said as Emerald blinks.

“Uh… Shade I didn’t exactly…” Emerald said before he jolts when Shade looks seriously at him.

“Emerald… your skills are going to waste in the Candy Kingdom with how weak the monsters there are… THIS place was Made for a guy like you so if you are not here… making a Guild may as well be pointless… enough said I can do MUCH more then just any Royal and much much more… You though are able to do things no one else can do… I mean in one fight you just made a team of ultra S-Rankers… they do need work with teamwork but I’m sure if you train them up first… will be excellent captains for the Guild and they can invite others making the Nightmare Guild something special… though given the dream them and stuff… may as well call this Guild the Dream Guild deep within the Nightmare Kingdom… Adventurers can hire Warriors they can only dream of to defend them from the horrors of the Adventure filled Nightmare kingdom… guided by the Ultimate Guildmaster tailor made by fate itself to make Warriors and more… so Emerald… think anyone else would come close to your job?... I can make people out of thin air to handle paperwork and much more so the small tedious jobs most Guildmasters deal with… they will be nothing.” Shade said while she smirks at Emerald who blushed more when many look at him.

“Ummm… just to check… are you SURE there is no one else?... I mean even if I take the tedious stuff out of the way… I still have no real skills in leading a guild…” Emerald said while he looks worried but… wasn’t a no…

“Oh I’m sure Emerald. You are perfect for this.” Shade said.

Emerald blushed more when Shade kept complimenting him as Me-Mow smirks when she nudged Jasmine and Me-Mow moved to use her speed to a surprising level which surprised Finn who was level 60 yet Me-Mow, level 30ish was already behind Emerald and hugged him from the side a moment later on one arm making him blush more.

“Should seriously take her offer man.” Me-Mow said.

Jasmine… getting where this was going… smirks as she used her speed, not to Me-Mow’s level… to get to Emerald’s other side and rubs his other arm.

“Yeah… I doubt others would be able to do what you can do…” Jasmine said in a flirty way making Emerald blush more before his head steams as he looks down.

“W-Well… alright… I’ll accept… but… only if no one else wants to take the position anytime soon…” Emerald said while he had a hard time composing himself.

“Good.” Shade said as Bronwyn was cautious before whispering to Finn.

“Uncle… do you think it’s safe to leave those villains here after what you and gramps said?”

Finn was quiet.

“Even if I want to… they are under Shade’s protection. Nothing I can do.” He whispers.

Bronwyn hearing this did look thoughtful before she whispered this to her uncle.

“What if I join this guild to keep on them?... moment they slip up I can let you know.” Bronwyn whispered since if they will be sticking with Emerald… Bronwyn can do the same.

Finn was cautious but… Bronwyn has grown into a confident woman so…

“Alright… but be careful.” He whispers.

Bronwyn nods before she looks at Shade.

“Hey Shade… think I can join this guild and see if its legit?... may as well consider me one of your new recruits if you want.” Bronwyn said when she smiles at Shade.

Shade blinks when she hears that.

“Really?… well not like I can say no so sure.”

“Nice… may as well help Emerald out a bit… if he helped me train the Rookies to a good level teamwise since they were level 20’s to 30’s but didn’t have much on teamwork given they never met one another till now, least for most, can make sure they do well when working in a Guild.” Bronwyn said while she had a hand on her hip.

Slumber chuckles.

“Well welcome aboard, dudette.”

“Indeed… its nice to have a new citizen, even if its a temporary one!” Lullaby sang… this comically made a couple of the Slime kids try and sing even if it came out as garbles and stuff, it was still cute.

Lullaby and Slumber cooed at this as Bronwyn chuckles.

“Well thanks.”

“No problem… still that means making housing in this kingdom later, why not come to a Guestroom in the Castle while I work with Emerald in making the Guildbuilding first, can be the heart of the town near the Castle so would be a short walk either way.” Shade said when she smiles at Bronwyn.

“Sure.” Bronwyn said.

After Bronwyn left with Jasmine and Me-Mow when Shade gave them the order to escort Bronwyn to the Castle… Shade looks at Finn.

“So Finn… want to stick around for a bit or now that the safety of everyone is assured, you leaving?” Shade said as Emerald looks at her.

“Oh yeah… my final wish just in case… I wish Finn, and everyone who fought in the battle would have teleport buttons similar to mine… the difference is that while mine takes me to the throne room… once the Guild building is finished… they can teleport there… once a room is designated as a teleport room for guildmates… enough said Finn could be a temporary Guildmate?... that is if he wants to do that?... could do some heroics at the guild, maybe give rookies some pointers if he wants to help raise new fighters, and more or less make it so that we have an experienced Hero helping us out alongside Bronwyn… can even make Finn’s teleport button remind Finn to give occasional visit to talk with you and stuff so he shows up more.” Emerald said while he made that wish while thinking of Finn’s heroic job predicament… unlike Harold in Team Indominus, Finn was a legit hero with the Unique Class called True Hero so he had skills Harold could only dream of.

Shade nods her head and grants Emerald’s wish and sure enough, Finn and the rookies got their own special buttons.

“Neat.” Finn said.

“As for your question Shade, I got nothing to do so… I’ll stick around.”

“Nice… follow after Bronwyn and the others… given its been years you may have forgotten most locations since they changed but I’m sure with how many times you traveled the kingdom in the past, I doubt you would forget where the Castle was right?” Shade said when she while she gestured for Finn to start walking.

“Not at all.” Finn said as he starts walking.

After Finn left… Emerald looks at the Rookies while he rubs the back of his head.

“W-Well… guess if I’m the Guildmaster… may as well see who my new Guild workers are and to see who can do what…” Emerald said when he looks at the 4 Rookies… thanks to the EXP gain they were all level 60 but given various factors, they may as well be rookies with their strength and could have trouble working together so may as well try and run damage control before it began.

The first of the rookie was surprisingly a female jungle warrior and based on her attire, obviously from the jungle kingdom.

The next rookie was another jungle warrior but… this one had glowing skeletal limbs on her right arm and leg.

Emerald blinks at this and smiles.

“Oh!... sorry I didn’t notice you two…” Emerald said while he examined their classes.

“Hehe… so a Powerful Warrior woman for you Miss Jungle Kingdom Warrior like the attire suggests but… hehe… a Necromatic Shaman… even for the Death Clan thats a rare thing… how are things in the Jungle Kingdom with Lady Elena and Lord Death?... its been awhile since I asked Lord Death about the Death Clan but occasional visists to the Dead worlds had me talk to some of the recently deceased Death Clan warriors and past Rulers… Elena’s mother says hello by the way.” Emerald said while he smiles at the two Jungle Kingdom residents.

The duo were surprised.

“Wow… you’re full of surprises.” The jungle lady said.

“Huh?... really?... thought Lady Elena told you guys about me… then again I rarely visit the Jungle kingdom since missions normally don’t take me there… I help train Death Clan warriors who have to be retrained a bit thanks to their ghostly bodies who stick around and stuff as Lord Death and Lady Life’s personal guards for the Dead worlds.” Emerald said while he looks curiously at the duo.

“Well June and I are new so we didn’t know.” The death clan warrior said.

“I see… how is Lady Elena by the way?... she did have one of Death’s kids a few years ago… she still interested in Finn like I heard rumors about or are there other possible Suitors for Lady Elena?” Emerald said while he grins at the two since they had info on recent Jungle Kingdom matters and he had a friendly demenor to try and help the two Warrior women relax around him.

“Oh she’s doing okay.” Said June before smirking.

“She likes to dream about Finn in her sleep.”

Emerald chuckles at this.

“Man if Finn was here he would be blushing up a storm.” Emerald said before he looks at the Necromatic Shaman warrior woman from the Death Clan.

“BTW… never got your name so can I hear it?” Emerald asked while he blinks in confusion when he saw the Death Clan warrior woman blush a bit.

“It’s… Aura.” The Death Clan woman said.

“Aura huh?... surprised you have two Skeletal limbs, guess you inherited more of Death’s DNA then Jungle Kingdom Warrior… is it true that lately the Death Clan have gained the ability to change what kind of body they want so they can change their limbs and even their head to a skeletal type at will?” Emerald said while he smiles at Aura more when his curiosity made him extra friendly with Aura.

Aura blushes more.

“A bit. Even though some chose to stay as they are.”

“Interesting… I’ll ask if you can do this later since I’m still curious but…” Emerald said while he looks at the other two… one looked surprisingly like an aged man… no a Murauder of all things… had a large beard, hair all over his head… honestly looked like he had muscles galore.

The other looked like a Goblin Archer surprisingly enough… looked shorter than most and looked female as well… granted it looked like she had a hood on her head but looked adorable compared to normal Goblins… maybe a hybrid with some kind of unique parentage?... either way Emerald chuckles as he looks at the duo.

“Well this is an interesting group… at first I thought I saw 3 people but more showed up on my Party menu… 4… maybe 5?... seems we have a missing party member or maybe their in the shadows watching… so how is the Maurauder Chief… I think I recognize you from one of those Rough house type parties you guys like to do… and as for the Goblin… looks like you traveled a long way from the Goblin Kingdom… trying to make a new life in another kingdom or something?” Emerald said while smiling gently at the Goblin hybrid woman after grinning at the Maurauder warrior.

The Goblin woman giggles.

“That’s right. I wanted to see if I can be adventurous as everyone else.”

Emerald chuckles as he helped the Goblin woman to her feet.

“Well Milady, looks like you got it when you got to the Nightmare kingdom, doubt many will believe you survived an encounter with an X-Rank Monster.” Emerald said while he grins at the Goblin Archer woman.

“Hehe… yeah. Most would be very scared by that beast.” The Goblin woman said.

“No kidding… won’t be too ashamed to admit I wet my pants just now… glad Lady Shade fixed that…” The Murauder said while he shudders as he rubs his beard when he remembered the embarrassment that happened.

Emerald chuckles and pats the Murauder on his back.

“Hehe… well lets just say that we can keep the wetting of the pants as a secret… so what are your names?” Emerald asked when he looks at the duo.

The Goblin woman smirks.

“I’m Sarah .”

“Well Sarah, nice to meet you, hopefully we can work well together in this Guild.” Emerald said before he lets go of Sarah’s hand to look at the Murauder warrior.

The Murauder smirks.

“Name’s Brick.”

“Huh… more like Brick wall with those defensive stats… looks like you're a Tank type warrior with the class and name you have.” Emerald said when he playfully hits Brick on his arm causing Zero damage.

“Hehehe, it’s good to be the muscle.” Brick said.

“And unless that 5th person shows up… may as well say welcome to the Dream Guild of the Nightmare Kingdom… sorry if things start slow… Guilds don’t normally kick up unless we have issues in the kingdom with civilians and more requesting things… we will still need a receptionist and various workers… speaking of which… wonder how Clover and the others are doing…” Emerald said to himself while the scene went to the Candy Kingdom guild…

Ooo/ Candy Kingdom/ Guild/ ???

“W-What do you mean Milady your making a new Guild from the ground up!?... you already have a Guild!” The Candy Kingdom Guild master said in the Candy Kingdom guild while Bubblegum, Marceline, and various others like Team Lightspeed and other teams all watch as Bubblegum ominously eyesmiles a the Guildmaster.

“True… HOWEVER some birdies told me you have been doing some… questionable things with MY guild… so much so that I figured making up for losses… I would make a new guild… right at the main road of the Candy Kingdom entrance near the best affordable Inn would help make up for things… I mean I have a contract with you sure but nothing in it says I can’t… change who works where… I mean you more or less missed in letters that explained a… particular Guild worker working here just more or less Quit… I even found out by some sources that you also made it so that the pay he got was much less then intended… and all for drinks… honestly I can go on but… seems your partial for Teams in the Guild who have actual attacks and don’t care for those who seem to not do much… like Emerald in combat persay…” Bubblegum said while she crossed her arms while she smiles ominously at the Guildmaster.

“Who told you this? And why stick up for that loser?” The Guildmaster said.

Bubblegum leans in before anyone in team Lightspeed could talk and other teams as Bubblegum said this clear as day.

“I want you to be VERY cautious in your next words… nothing in my Contract with you states I have to help you RUN a guild… I could make it so that the Guild you work in works right in the BAD part of the Candy Kingdom where thugs and more do their shady dealings… in fact if not for THAT contract since you did seem OK at the start… I would have made Emerald Guildmaster instead of a drunk like you… Emerald’s main ability is NOT for fighting but making it so that there are NO low level fighters… the Candy Kingdom has WEAK monsters… various threats that are in different lands… many requests are mainly requests for low to mid level help and its ONLY because of Emerald… sent to work here by Lady Life herself since I owed her immensely for throwing some things off my record… enough said… I’ll be telling Lady Life if she comes by and asks for various things on WHY HER PERSONAL Death Clan warrior TRAINER and Undeath’s Fiance QUIT this GUILD he was supposed to work at for two reasons… one… to raise up the levels of WEAK teams who live here because lets face it… if not for Emerald… unless these teams come and go from hardcore missions for YEARS… NONE would be able to get to the level they had… NOT for MANY decades… yet thanks to Emerald… in just 1 decade… Emerald managed to make your GUILD one of the best if not the BEST Guild for having MANY C Rank and higher ranked teams… sure we don’t HAVE the best of the best… but we are known by MANY kingdoms as one who has an elite group of Adventurers but now thanks to YOU and to many teams who just threw him away or FIRED Emerald from their teams… That Reputation WILL sink unless we get Emerald back… so I’m giving you and MANY one chance to FIX this fuckup by giving an X Rank Quest… get Emerald back or so help me I’ll use MANY rescourses I have to make MANY of your lives such a hell that even Marceline’s Father Hunson the Lord of fucking Evil WILL be shocked at what I can do when I throw away my morals with idiots like you!” Bubblegum said before she growls the last bit when she shoved an actual X Rank Quest in the face of the Guildmaster which shows that the paper was legit and that the reward was a simple one… all the treasure in the Candy Kingdom vault worth millions of Gold in of itself.

The Guildmaster was shocked at the paper.

“Y-Yes ma’am.”

“Good… unfortunately ALL of you have 7 days… 7 days to convince Emerald to comeback from the Nightmare Kingdom… I was told by a source that Emerald has went there and in 7 days… Life AND Death will be visiting for the monthly checkup with Emerald in how the adventuring level is around here… if he isn’t… I’m not the one taking the fall for this… do I make myself clear?” Bubblegum said while looking ominously in the Guildmaster’s eyes.

“And I HIGHLY doubt a mortal bound contract will protect you from the living embodiments of Life and literal Death… And I don’t mean it metaphorically, or rhetorically, or symbolically, or theoretically—or any other fancy way…He’s Death… Straight up.” Bubblegum said when she puts a copy of the Quest on the Quest board before she smiles kindly at Clover.

“Clover Sweetie… if you would be so kind as to register this… I would like that… in case things fail… given you have been sweet in putting up with the Guild here and Marceline does think highly of you for… many ways… just in case… want to try and help run this guild as a receptionist if we need a Guildmaster there… I’ll need someone to help run the place just in case.” Bubblegum said kindly to Clover since Marceline talked well about Clover for… a number of reasons and Marceline smirks when she heard this and winked at Clover.

Clover blushes cutely.

“I-I will do my best.” She said.

“Good… anyway Marceline and I will be leaving… Dawn already went on ahead to try and convince Emerald to come back… she was always friendly of him since he helped her with her abilities… so she has his trust… anyone else want to join her should head to the Nightmare kingdom… but if I hear of ANY kidnapping if Emerald isn’t here willingly…” Bubblegum said before she looks seriously at many and even team Lightspeed gulps a bit at the venom in Bubblegum’s eyes.

“I maybe sweet… but you all should know by now how I deal with traitors… try and not make it so that I am considered a tyrant…” Bubblegum said before she left the room leaving Marceline behind for a moment.

Marceline frowns.

“To the people that messed with Emerald… you guys fucked up big time.”

After Marceline left, this had Team Lightspeed, again consisting of Surge, Maite, Cedric, and Azure, all talking in a corner about this…

“Okay… I know what you guys are already thinking. We join Dawn to the Nightmare Kingdom.” Cedric said.

“Isn’t she already on her way?... do we even know the direction to the Nightmare Kingdom?... I heard about it but none of us have ever been there.” Azure said showing that wherever the Nightmare kingdom was… definitely not on Ooo maps thats for sure… maybe they should get a better map from a shopkeeper.

“Azure’s right. We need a map or we can ask Marceline for one.” Maite said.

“Well we should head after Marceline then… faster we get a map… faster we can get to the Nightmare Kingdom… sounds hostile beyond belief with a kingdom with a name like that!” Surge said before she bolts out of the building before anyone could stop her.

“Let’s roll.” Cedric said as he bolts after Surge.

Azure sighs before she looks at Maite.

“We may have to make sure these two don’t rush after Emerald and forget about us… otherwise… how would we convince Emerald with two hyper beings talking at the speed of light and stuff?” Azure said while she shrugs her arms.

Maite sweatdrops.

“I agree.”

Meanwhile…

“So here are my wishes, Shade… I wish I had the ability to make a Guild building of my own… enough said a high level construction skill if you will… I won’t need to use building material if I have you make it so I can just summon an infinite out of everything needed and I won’t have to come to you daily to make modifications… should help keep things out of your hair and if we bring civilians in, you can leave construction to me if I am able to use that ability here and in many other places need… outside of the nightmare kingdom I would need to gather supplies for it but in the Nightmare kingdom… well may as well say the homefield advantage gives me unlimited material so no real tax needed if I just make a guild to my liking if I ran it.” Emerald said to Shade while he and Shade were standing in a large empty area made by Shade for the Guild to stand on so that it could be near the castle in case of emergencies and it could be moved by Shade elsewhere once the kingdom grows more… those like Finn were listening in and watching as Emerald asks some wishes from Shade so he could get started on the guild building at least.

“Granted.” Shade said as she snaps her fingers.

Emerald glows and smiles before he looks at Shade.

“Thanks Shade, I’ll make sure the best Guild fit for the Nightmare Kingdom, a Dream Guild fit for a Princess of your splendor.” Emerald said while he grins at Shade with sparkling eyes.

“Oh I’m already getting excited at the idea.” Shade said.

“Nice… I’ll get to work now… can you have the others go inside while I work my magic and stuff?” Emerald said while he grins as he looks at a new skill he had gained… Construction LVL 1 (Altered) which was more or less the Ability that Shade gave him which was altered by her powers.

This more or less had Emerald move to the front of the area where he could already see a large massive guild buildin before him… he saw a menu appear in front of him.

“Do you wish to make a blueprint of the building envisioned in your mind?... on current level Auto-Build will take 24 hours to complete.” The notification window said surprising Emerald.

“Auto build?” Emerald thought before he nods and hits the yes… many were surprised when they saw a 3D hologram of sorts appeared next to the Nightmare kingdom castle as Emerald rubs the back of his head but grins when he approached Shade.

“Hehe… man Shade… you really outdid it… giving this construction skill an Auto-build feature… just need to wait 24 hours and the building will be made entirely… given its level 1 thats probably for the 24 hour wait.” Emerald said while many look shocked by what they heard.

“Hehe, I aim to please.” Shade said.

Still Shade had a thought… Auto-build… she never gave that kind of ability to the construction skill… mentally she was wondering what was going on while a mental version of her was sweating profusely.

‘I never installed any auto-build. Is someone messing with us?’ Shade thought.

Then Shade had a thought since she did hit level 60 after instantly being brought back to level 1… maybe it was a passive to her class since she never did check her class or the skills she had so maybe it was something like that since she was literally double her original level.

‘Well… as long as Emerald is happy, I got nothing to worry about.’ Shade thought.

Still she should make sure her skills and abilities later are OK… still since Emerald had 24 hours to pass and she DID want to make sure Emerald stuck around for much longer… why not… incentivise him greatly… she and her sisters did have a plan for Emerald after all after hours so…

‘Hehe… just need to have Emerald… stay longer. I might know a way to do that, even though Finn and Bronwyn are here.’ Shade thought again.

Though she did have an amusing thought as well… unless Bronwyn had any… suitors of her own and since she was now an official citizen of her kingdom… why not invite her as well?... could be fun and this should make it easier since Emerald was always trying to do what is right with his allies… but if they ask him to stay…

Shade then went to find her sisters to formulate a plan of sorts.

This had many leave for now as Emerald walked into the castle to rest… funny enough Bronwyn wanted to speak with him about some things so Emerald smiles as he got some diet drinks he had with various snacks and he and Bronwyn were talking.

“So… thats what my usual skills are… aside the ability to construct now, I mainly support and train people from the get go, I usually worked in training rookies to high levels but that was when I worked with the Candy Kingdom Guild… enough said I’ll have to think with others in getting citizens to live in the Nightmare kingdom and more… can’t rely on Shade for everything can I?” Emerald said while he smiles at Bronwyn while he hands her a cupcake.

“Well you have a point. Though this leave you’re doing is temporary right? I mean surely there are people in the Candy Kingdom that will miss you.” Bronwyn said.

“Eh… maybe Team Lightspeed, Marceline, Bubblegum, and Dawn, but honestly there are less people then you think… most teams normally just have me boost them up before I’m in a new party anyways… honestly I thought Team Indominus was good but… well… you know the rest… and the Guildmaster is nice when I help teams but when I used to complain about getting kicked… either he was drunk or I was just flat out ignored by telling me to just do the job I’m given… guess I wasn’t good enough if the only thing I can do is just build up teams… I mean until now my Level eater ability when used normally got me in trouble since the amount of levels to save certain teams wasn’t worth it since at best 5 to 10 levels for some teams when the abnormal monster in the Candy Kingdom showed up but never level 60s for you guys… honestly net gains given how you went from your 30’s to 60’s… how do you feel by the way Bronwyn?... better then you have before?” Emerald said while he sipped a drink he had… though talking of past teams and the Guildmaster did make him look a little depressed…

Bronwyn knew she had to change the subject.

“I felt much better than before and I owe you my thanks Emerald.” She said.

“Hehe… and those Daggers are something huh?... probably not for your class but given how you have a unique class called Daredevil… guess being speedy and a powerhouse than an all-rounder seems more your forte then just using simple swords huh?” Emerald said while Bronwyn was surprised Emerald saw that in her class… granted she was still in his party but didn’t expect the details… wait… could he see more in classes then others?... normally there are privacy settings but if Emerald could bypassit…

“Wait… can you actually see other classes besides the main one?” Bronwyn said.

“Well… not quite, more like I can see more details of a Class then others, there are even skills I have that can tell whose in their proper Class or not based on their stats… for example your Unique Class Daredevil has more speed then attack so the daggers make sense compared to Finn’s True Hero class… classes you may want to change to and train for skills should be thief, assassin, and MAYBE infiltraitor… Me-Mow and Jasmine maybe able to help with those… enough said you’re more of a hit and run type Class user but learning abilities in other classes are not bad.” Emerald said while he grins at Bronwyn.

Bronwyn was surprised after hearing that.

“Wow. Had no idea.”

“Well thats what a Guide like me is for… helping nice people like you do your absolute best.” Emerald said while he smiles more at Bronwyn.

Bronwyn blushes a bit from the smile.

“Yeah… though now you’re a Guild Master. Which is a big step.”

“Yeah… still wondering if its a good idea… I mean the last Guildmaster I worked for was a drunk and a guy who normally had me just go from team to team so even if I’m a Guide, I have no experience being a Guildmaster at all so I’m nervous… should I get drunk like the Guildmaster or something?.” Emerald said while he rubs his head nervously and looks at Bronwyn genuinely curious.

“Obviously not. Those are bad examples. I don’t know why those types are hired. To me, you should do the opposite. Because to me… you are a fair person.” Bronwyn said.

Emerald blushed at this while he smiles at Bronwyn more.

“Thanks… hopefully I can ask you for help with this Guild since if you’re living here in the Nightmare Kingdom, may as well have you as my second in command to help me with choices… being trained by Finn you probably have more experience with monsters and more then me… its either support on my end or using Level eater to take out abnormal monsters… I never did much besides support out of that abnormal situation so I would really owe you big time.” Emerald said while he looks genuinely curious if Bronwyn would take that position or not… Vice-Guildmaster huh?... seems Bronwyn got an interesting job offer to do when in the Nightmare kingdom it seem.

Bronwyn was a bit surprised.

“Wow… a little big step… but if you need my help… count me in.” She said.

Emerald grins more at this.

“Nice!... after the guild building is made, I’ll make the best house you could ever want in the Nightmare Kingdom… given I have unlimited Materials to use, no expense spared… who knows could give you a mansion or something or maybe a simple home but with the best of the best amenities and stuff to live comfortably after missions and stuff.” Emerald said while he smiles happily at Bronwyn.

Bronwyn was a little surprised.

“D-Don’t have to go too far, a simple house will be fine.”

Emerald though had many ideas in his mind while Shade approached the duo and she blinks when she saw Emerald looking pretty chipper right now while Bronwyn looked like she was blushing a bit since Emerald seemed dead set on getting Bronwyn the best house literally imaginable… simple or not.

“Hey guys. Am I interrupting something?” Shade said.

“Huh?... oh no Shade… in fact I just got some good news, Bronwyn is willing to lend her help to the Guild as my Vice-Guild leader… while I can do a lot supportwise, being a Guildleader is not my forte so Bronwyn agreed to help me out with things so I’m not overwhelmed.” Emerald said while he grins at Shade.

Shade blinks a bit.

“Really?” She said.

“Y-Yeah. Since uncle Finn trained me, figure I lend a helping hand.” Bronwyn said.

“Yeah… I would owe Bronwyn greatly, honestly if things go well with her help I would do anything to help make sure her time here is comfortable.” Emerald said while he smiles at Shade while the way he spoke could be misinterpreted greatly even if Emerald was genuine.

“Oh really?… anything?” Shade said.

“Well yeah, I’ll make her a house if she needs one, I’ll make sure she is well paid for, honestly nothing is too much since Bronwyn is an experienced woman who may as well have better skills then most people I’ve known in the past… not because she is level 60… but because she trained with the best of the best hero of Ooo so her skills are nothing to scoff at.” Emerald said while he laid the compliments onto Bronwyn thick.

Bronwyn blushes at the compliment as Shade felt amused.

“I see… well as long as Bronwyn stays, I’ll make sure she feels very welcome.”

“Hehe thanks Shade… not to insult Bubblegum or Marceline and Dawn but you're the best Princess around… next to your sisters… most times when Bubblegum or Marceline want to speak with me, its mainly about business and stuff with the Guild so honestly I’m happy I’m working for you now even if I barely worked here yet… still one step at a time.” Emerald said with a genuine happy look on his face.

Shade blushes a bit.

“Yeah. One step at a time.”

“Hehe yeah… anyway I’ll be heading to a guest room so I’ll see you tomorrow Shade… got to wait 24 hours before the Guild building I imagined comes to so I may as well relax and think of what to do for some time.” Emerald said as Shade this time, though blushing… smirks.

“Actually Emerald… can you do me a favor?... I need this taken to my room and set up, could you get this working in there and I’ll come by and see how it is going?” Shade said when she passed Emerald some kind of gaming console.

“Oh!... this looks new… alright I’ll head there and get to work, may as well see what kind of games are on it as well.” Emerald said while he left the duo and this left Shade and Bronwyn alone so Shade smirks when she looks at the heroine.

“So… saw you blushing at Emerald a lot… the compliments getting to you?” Shade said when she smirks at Bronwyn in a teasing way.

Bronwyn blushes.

“H-He was just being nice. He even wanted to try make a mansion for me but I said he didn’t have to.”

“Hehe… well well well… looks like you got a primo job then working for Emerald… free housing AND serious gold income once things kick off properly… still I’m not here just to have Emerald put together a gaming console in my room and stuff… I’ll be rather blunt… I’m… planning on making sure no one can take Emerald from the Nightmare Kingdom anytime soon so why not me and my sisters seduce Emerald into staying here?... he helped me and my sisters and was friends with us a number of times in the past on and off missions that brought him here… so may as well make sure that he doesn’t leave and go back to the mean old Candy Kingdom Guild where he can be abused… I’m curious Bronwyn… given he saved your life from the Abyss Dragon… want to join in and REALLY see how things go?... with my powers even if Emerald is lacking, can make him a literal dream guy of your dreams if you want if Emerald agrees…” Shade said while she smirks at Bronwyn.

“H-Huh?!” Bronwyn as she was caught off guard.

“Oh don’t be shocked… I’m sure a Heroine like you with the skills and rep you gained… you probably had many lovers in the past when not traveling with Finn… I highly doubt you're a virgin in your 30’s with how good you look… honestly should tell you given I have… experimented… you do look good enough to eat in a fun way so should speak volumes…” Shade said when she licks her lips teasingly towards Bronwyn.

“Well won’t lie, he did turn beefy so who knows could try and… reward him in the future but… lets face it Bronwyn… what are the chances he may come by daily once this Guild thing is done?... I mean after the Nameless Kingdom became the Nightmare Kingdom… poof it was back to Ooo Finn went… didn’t even stick around long enough for me to really try anything romantic or anything even friend like… don’t get me wrong I get it, Finn’s a hero of Ooo… but I’m still a Royal who needs a king or Queen to have a kid with so I can have a child inherit the throne when I retire HOPEFULLY many years from now… who knows maybe when I get a bit older I can have Emerald wish for me to allow me to change my age at will with my sisters as well so if we have to wait a long time for things, can just more or less make it so that age won’t be an issue if the three of us are immortal of sorts… always been an option… I mean the Vampire Queen and Bubblegum was able to do that so why not us?... and given that Emerald did more for me and my sisters… well… the three of us do have eyes on another human who we know will stick around compared to your uncle… least we know Emerald will come back a lot more if we give him reasons to return.” Shade said while she gave Bronwyn the bluntest of answers.

“Okay… Finn has dropped the ball on that.”

“No kidding… look I can give Finn a shot in things if you’re worried about him romancewise but I’m sure he already has a few ladies in Ooo already… heard about this Huntress Wizard woman he could be seeing… maybe some Water Nymph sister trio?... the Jungle Princess or Queen?... not sure if she is married yet… and there maybe a thing in the Fire Kingdom?... not sure if its with the Queen but the advisor?... given Finn is friends with Phoebe and didn’t hear rumors of dating, could be just rumors but aside from Elena… well looks like Finn has a thing for Elemental women… maybe I should just give him the ability to fully change his body so he can be any element he wants.” Shade said while she shrugs her arms at the idea.

“Maybe… granted when uncle Finn got that message about you, even it was your butler’s doing, he did look regretful in not visiting your kingdom. Granted this isn’t a time for a story. How can you be sure you can seduce Emerald in staying?” Bronwyn said.

Shade looks amused before she moved over to rub Bronwyn’s chin teasingly with a finger.

“Bron… unless Emerald lost his virginity, I’m sure it will be simple to seduce him… my sisters and I… hehe… even Me-Mow and Jasmine especially were helped by Emerald so I may invite them so we can have fun with Emerald… you’re call in joining or not… may seem like rushing but let me give you one interesting fact on me.” Shade said when she leaned in and whispered in Bronwyn’s ear.

“Indeed… if you take individual level into account, going solo would put you at E to D ranking given they are level 20 to 30 dungeons… Rank C here would be around 30’s to 50’s… MUCH higher then the Candy Kingdom’s S-Rank Dungeons and even some of their own X Rank Dungeons… if I had to be clear… the Shadow guards here made by Lady Shade when she gained her level 60 ability gained the ability to make level 120 Shadow guards who are now able, if they work together, take on a level 150 Abyss Dragon… by Nightmare Kingdom standards… even a Receptionist like me could solo many of you… I may not be combative but…” The Receptionist said before she looks coldly at Surge.

“My level is level 90… while not a Shadow Guards level of power… even if you four team up… I would easily be able to overpower you four easily… only the best of the best can work for Lord Emerald and if not they have to have the drive to train under him to be the best Adventurers in the Nightmare kingdom… Lady Shade supports him with all he has and despite his level 1 status, he helps train Lady Shade, Lady Slumber, and Lady Lullaby when not taking them on dates or more.” The Receptionist said while she looks mannered, if cold, to Team Lightspeed showing she had no fear for them.

Surge blinks at the cold look as Bronwyn rubs the back of her head.

“I believe they understand.”

“Good… my apologize but unless you have business here I suggest you lead them away Lady Bronwyn.” The Receptionist said though…

“Yawn… oh relax Lulubell… these are my friends… try and be a bit nicer.” The group heard and they look to see a disheveled and bed headed Emerald… looks like he got out of bed and stuff as the identified Lulubell looks at him.

“Did we disturb your slumber Milord?” Lulubell said when she looks a bit worried as Emerald waved his hand in a nonchalant way.

“Nah… had to use the restroom and stuff and heard some kind of commotion so I came to look just in case… left Dawn in bed though so she could sleep in a bit more… may as well wake her so she and I can get ready to head to the Candy Kingdom and stuff for some time…” Emerald said before he yawns again.

“Emerald.” Maite said as she and Surge went to him.

Emerald in a sleepy state just smiles a the duo.

“Surge… Maite… nice to see you again… how are you two doing?” Emerald said while Azure sweatdrops since Emerald looks like he was still in the process of getting up.

“Maite… Surge… we may want to give Emerald a few minutes to get up and stuff… he looks like he half awake right now and barely registers us.” Azure said while Emerald just had a closed eye look on his face which showed Azure’s point.

Maite pouts and would speak but…

“No pouting, Azure is right.” Cedric said with a serious look.

Maite pouts a bit more while looking dejected as Emerald waves a hand.

“Oh its alright… hey Bron… can you bring the guys to the lunch area?... not sure if they are hungry but I’m sure a good meal will help brighten the mood… I’ll be right back after I wash up and stuff.” Emerald said while Bronwyn smiles at him.

“Sure, take your time but not too much.” Bronwyn said before she moved to Emerald and kissed him on the lips for a moment and Emerald returned the kiss.

Maite and Surge were now feeling super jealous as Bronwyn return the kiss.

Cedric whispers to Azure.

“Better get their leashes ready.”

Azure was ready just in case and after the duo broke the kiss… Emerald waved to everyone as he walked away with a slight stumble.

“See you guys… play nice hehe.” Emerald said before he left the group.

Bronwyn smiles as she looks at the four.

“Alright then, follow me to the lunch area.”

This had the four following though comically Azure had to push Surge like Surge was a statue when she looked like she would growl and in no time… the group were at a table as Bronwyn smiles when she passed each person an empty tray.

“Here… these were enchanted by Shade after Emerald made them to make it so that you can wish for your favorite meals… just think of them and the food will appear on the tray.” Bronwyn said when she smiles at the four.

The four blink a bit before Cedric decides to test out the table.

After a few seconds, a plate of chicken and mushrooms appear with a side of mac and cheese.

This had many look surprised as Surge comically pokes the chicken.

“Holy-!... its real…” Surge said when she looks to her tray and a massive Steak with a steak knife and forke appeared making Surge grin when she would be able to eat to her hearts content.

This made Azure and Maite do the same thing.

For Azure it was a nice sea food feast.

Maite got a more vegetable type meal but she had a large piece of tuna as the main dish… as many enjoyed their meals…

“Hey sorry I’m late… Dawn was in the bathroom already getting ready and stuff for today.” Emerald said in his usual attire but had a Dragon scaled theme bag as Dawn, in her usual getup but with a more… revealing version was hanging from Emerald’s neck as she lets Emerald walk and stuff while she rests her chin on his head.

The four blink at this as Bronwyn chuckles.

“No worries Emerald. Feeling better?”

“Oh yeah… a good quick shower woke me up in an instant… man after yesterday finishing that Apartment building blueprint plus other things like making various items in the guild… took a lot out of me… well… that and all the dates that were planned and stuff…” Emerald said before smiling as he blushed in a surprisingly adorable way.

Dawn smirks.

“Well I know you enjoy the dates the most.”

Emerald blushed more.

“H-Hehe… yeah… especially with that those wishes that helped me in some ways.” Emerald said as his body suddenly glows and he… shrunk?... enough said Dawn looks amused when she lets go and in Emerald’s place… was a cute looking Femboy Cat man with brown fur, bright green eyes, and had curves in his outfit nearly making him look like a woman and this caused Surge to get wide eyes as she spat out a drink… right… at Cedric…

“Hey?!” Cedric said as he uses a napkin wipe himself.

“Hey nothing did you see what I saw or did someone spike my drink again!?” Surge said while Emerald chuckles nervously.

“Hehe… no Surge… no one spiked your drink… Shade… well… she gave me the ability to shapeshift with a wish from Me-Mow… said it would make it so that I could turn into a dream guy for each lady… in my… h-h-harem… thats… still something I’ll have to get used to.” Emerald said while he blushed so adorably that Maite comically got a nosebleed.

Azure sweatdrops as she passes Maite a napkin.

“Well… I’m sure that part will be easy.” Cedric joked.

“Yeah especially since Emerald gained an ability from Jasmine to know which kind of dream guy works for each lady… the Femboy Catman is mainly Bronwyn’s thing though won’t lie… it grew on me… I like his human form a lot though.” Dawn said when she hugged Emerald around his neck lovingly.

This made Emerald blush as Surge cross her arms.

“So… a guy of our dreams.” She said as she picture the form Emerald could take.

Mainly it was either an adonis of a human given she knew him as a human the longest or maybe a Tenrec or Hedgehog looking humanoid like her and Maite…

This made Surge looked excited at the image as Cedric was amused at Emerald.

“Still… seems you made a nice home here man.”

“Well still a work in progress… honestly home is a stretch when this place doesn’t have many in citizens yet or clients for requests to the guild.” Emerald said while he scratched his cheek.

“Still thats for future me to wonder on… for now should go to the Candy kingdom and what not… ready to go Dawn?... we can use the teleport room to get there and use the recall buttons we got to come back to the Guild.” Emerald said while he smiles at his girlfriend.

“H-huh?… you’re going to the Candy Kingdom?” Maite said.

“Well yeah… can’t have people coming to the Nightmare kingdom for me if I have to turn them down again and again… besides Dawn gave a good idea and we can make this an advertisement to the Dream Guild as well so if people outside of Candy Kingdom territory can come here for serious requests and more.” Emerald said as he returned to his human form as he grins at the others.

Maite looks a bit down.

“So you gonna keep staying here?”

Emerald looks confused by this.

“Well for the most part yeah… I mean lets face it who would miss me in the Candy Kingdom with the Guild there being an S Rank Guild location by Ooo standards?... I can always visit and return with the teleport switch though Shade is planning on changing that to a tattoo or something so if I lose the switch, won’t be stuck who knows where.” Emerald said while he shrugs as he approached a large wooden ornate door while gesturing for everyone now that their meal is over to follow him.

Thought as they follow Emerald, Maite was still looking bummed since Emerald was adamant on not returning to the Candy Kingdom… even though he said he will visit.

After they got to the large ornate door… Emerald smiles at the group.

“Welcome to the Dream Guild’s fast travel system… the device inside will allow anyone to go to places they have already been to in the past… all you have to do is select where to go and bam… you are there… you can even have people tag along.” Emerald said while he opened the door to show a large crystalline room with a large floating orb showing Ooo in Globe form while many locations from Emerald’s memories showed up of various cities, towns, and kingdoms he has been to.

“Wow… that amazing.” Cedric said.

“No kidding… was amazed when I saw even dead world locations and stuff showing Shade’s wish granting powers comboed with Emerald’s new construction skill gives seriously Glob level equipment.” Dawn said while she looks at Bronwyn.

“May want to leave the room unless you want to join us Bron.” Dawn said as Lulubell came by with paperwork.

“As long as its for a day or two… I don’t think many will mind if Lady Bronwyn goes to protect Lord Emerald, unlike most here she is level 60 so I doubt anyone will do anything stupid to him with her around.” Lulubell said when she looks calmly at many.

“That’s right.” Bronwyn said.

Lulubell nods before she closed the door leaving Bronwyn, Dawn, Emerald, and Team Lightspeed in the room as Lulubell spoke through the door.

“I’ll let Lady Shade know what is going on so she will be expecting you back soon Lord Emerald.” Lulubell said when she spoke calmly as Emerald chuckles.

“Alright… see you Lulubell.” Emerald said before he moved to the Globe and after finding the Candy Kingdom… various locations there popped up from the plaza all the way to the throne room.

“Alright… hang onto your butts.” Emerald said when he hits throne room and many vanish…

Ooo/ Candy Kingdom/ Castle/ Throne room/???

“Wait… you're telling me Emerald helped Fix your Matrix with an enchanted item and when you had sex with a few people… you didn’t blow up!?” Bubblegum said when she was funny enough talking with Phoebe as she was blushing a bit at how blunt Bubblegum was while Marceline floats nearby.

“Y-Yes… I figured I should come here to help repay Emerald for what he did… he left before I could thank him and even get the item so I wanted to make sure to see if he was doing well since he sounded depressed… I heard he was leaving Ooo for the Nightmare Kingdom or something but wanted to be sure of that by coming to see if he would be returning since he normally operated here as one of your Guild members…” Phoebe said while she calmed down.

“Well… he did and we sent a team to find Emerald and convince to come back. Hope they succeed.” Marceline said.

Energy then started to spark in the room making many look surprised as they all saw a number of people appear here and there in the throne room… Bronwyn, Dawn, Team Lightspeed, and Emerald though he comically was summoned over Phoebe and he yelps as he comically lands in her arms bridal style.

“What the?!” Bubblegum said with a surprise look.

“Well a team got Emerald back it seems… and in style no less.” Marceline said when she looks amused as Emerald blushed and waved to Phoebe.

“H-Hey your highness… nice to see you again.” Emerald said while he blushed at being held like this.

Phoebe blushes a bit.

“H-Hey… your charm worked.” She said.

Marceline looks amused after she got over her surprise.

“Hehe… that the enchanted item or that a flirt?” Marceline teased.

This made Phoebe blush more as she put Emerald on his feet while Bubblegum got over her surprise.

“W-Well… good to see you back Emerald. Well done Team Lightspeed.” She said.

“Ohhh… you may want to hold on the good job comment.” Cedric said cryptically.

“Huh?... what do you mean?” Bubblegum said as Dawn rubs the back of her head.

“Well… good news and bad news mom… Good news is that… thanks to an event… kind of dating Emerald with Bronwyn and a few other ladies which may have Emerald visit the Candy Kingdom willingly… bad news… Shade gave Emerald a position in the Nightmare Kingdom as a Guildmaster there… enough said Shade gave serious benefits and well… I find it VERY hard for him even if you bring up things like Life and stuff to keep Emerald around given how once things kick off… they can kick off HARD in the Nightmare Kingdom… accident or not… and Shade will probably kill me for this… but Emerald on the first day from what I heard killed a level 150 Abyss Dragon… a ranked S to X Rank Monster… the S Rank monsters and X Ranks in the Candy Kingdom can’t hold a candle AND he was able to boost Bronwyn, Finn, and various others like Shade, Slumber, Lullaby, some Slime kids from the Grasslands that Emerald babysits and some rookies for the Dream Guild… and well… aside Emerald getting the level 1 treatment for his usual antics… Bronwyn here alone is level 60 from the get go… to explain more… well in order to take down the Abyss Dragon… Emerald for a moment hit level 310 or higher… and then threw it away for a one attack stat boosting move that gave him the stats of a 1200 level fighter… virtually unheard of in rankings for levels math used or not.” Dawn said when she explained some things to Bubblegum and by proxy Marceline.

“Wow!” Marceline said as Bubblegum was shocked.

“Yeah I had that reaction as well… in many ways… oh and by the way… 12 inches long… 3 in width… either Life buffed Emerald or he was all natural and given the wishes Shade used… Emerald can shapeshift to be the preferred species one wants in a lover as well so… yeah… logically speaking Moms… I have a VERY low chance in Emerald coming back to the Candy Kingdom even if you pull desperate moves.” Dawn said while she just gave the flat out logical truth to the Candy Queen.

“B-But Emerald… I didn’t want you to quit.” Bubblegum said.

Emerald rubs the back of his head.

“Well, while I would love to come back and work for you your highness… I’m afraid its not up to me persay… most teams back at the Candy Kingdom Guild want nothing to do with me and the Guild Master may as well think I don’t exist… even IF, and its a big IF that I do come back… its probably for rare visits and checkups… mainly I didn’t leave because I wanted to… it was more like I had to otherwise I would have spiraled into a depression so deep I probably would have head to the Dead worlds.” Emerald said though before some ladies could gasp…

“I mean I could literally walk there right now if I had a corner in a building with a 90 degree angle… I can show that right now and others like Finn can do that as well so its not like I would kill myself… granted most mortals are not welcome in the dead worlds for obvious reasons but you can come and go as easily as you want.” Emerald said to some ladies who didn’t know Emerald or others could do that.

“I didn’t know you can do that.” Phoebe said.

“Eh no one really asks but in the past I used to work for Lady Life and Lord Death as a trainer for Dead world warriors when I was younger… trained to get my skills for training others to the max there so I can easily power level people more or less so if it takes people a few months to years to get some good level ups… takes either minutes, days, or weeks to get similar results… for example if I killed a hostile slime and had no experience boosters on… would barely get experience… with them… a simple slime if I’m lucky depending on its level and rank could give me a level or two and thats for one Slime… and thats if I’m level 1… I also have an experience Zero skill which makes it so gaining experience in battle is no go for me but in exchange that extra experience goes to my party members… only my Level eater Skill can give me levels and break the Level cap in one go since most people can normally only get to level 99… heroic units like Finn and maybe Bronwyn could break that limit easily but I’ll have to train Bronwyn with some dungeon dives in the future to test that.” Emerald said while he shrugs his arms.

“Well if we’re doing Dungeon Dives…” Bronwyn said as she looks determined.

“Hehe… if not on dates or really getting aggressive in bed with Emerald at the Guild bedroom he made.” Dawn said with a smirk as Marceline… though smirking at the blush Bronwyn had… she did blink.

“Wait… just to double check in case I missed something but did Shade make this Guild with her wishpowers?” Marceline asked as Emerald rubs his head.

“Sort of… I wished for the ability to have a construction skill and it has some interesting features like an auto-build mode and more… and if I’m in the nightmare kingdom, infinite resources… so I can make as many things as I want and if I have the right materials outside of the Nightmare Kingdom, can make anything I want and after I pick a blueprint I can think of in my head, I just hit auto build and I let things happen… took 24 hours to make a guild… 12 for an apartment building for Bronwyn and others… and a number of hours with me fixing up the interior of the Guild to my liking, spacious, fit with some interesting items, and one of them was a teleport room so that explains why many of us just showed up here… and with this switch, and soon magic tattoos that help with recalls to the Guild… well enough said I can come and go from the Nightmare Kingdom to any place I have been in the land of Ooo.” Emerald said while he smiles at Bubblegum and Marceline.

“Wow. That’s a neat trick.” Marceline said.

“No kidding… saw the place firsthand and will say… it… makes the current Candy Kingdom Guild and others look like either dumps or a step down from what Emerald cooked up… seriously the guy has many other rooms and we barely got a tour… Emerald has magical treys that MAKE food for you so you don’t have to pay cooks…” Surge said when she had her hands in her pockets.

“Really?” Marceline said as she wanted to try that out.

“You’ll have to tag along with one of us to the Nightmare Kingdom… not sure if the treys work outside of the Guild building as a precaution Mom.” Dawn said when she looks at Marceline as Bubblegum, now VERY worried, tried to speak.

“Hold on… before we talk about who does what… we still have an issue where Emerald can’t just up and quit the Candy Kingdom Guild like this… Lady Life PUT Emerald here more or less and you're one of the main reasons the Candy Kingdom Guild is even as good as it is, ignoring Phoebe’s kingdom and Guild which has many hotheads… no offense Phoebe… but most try and not cause trouble in the Candy Kingdom because many besides other Guilds mostly being under my kingdoms guild level roundup, but without you that may as well drop immensely… that could open the kingdom up to attacks from many and I’m not just talking other possible guilds if one wants to try and raise an army… bandits, thieves, other monters, even if we forget Guild rep… its a fact that crime and more have become limited for now but what about the future?” Bubblegum said as Emerald scratched his cheek.

“Well… not sure exactly… I mean sure you do have a few good points and if I get the Nightmare Kingdom up to a good level in terms of efficacy and stuff I COULD come back but most people at the Guild kind of don’t like me… toxic work environment… I’m sure if I call Lady Life and ask her, if I tell her about the teleport stuff in the Dream Guild, I’m sure she won’t mind me moving to the Nightmare kingdom if I do occasional check ins… who knows, maybe I could take some newbies from here, train them in the Nightmare Kingdom like its a boot camp trip, and send back an elite team who could be in their 60’s or higher if given enough time… got to admit the threat level of enemies is… well… weak here… pretty sure if you give me two weeks with Team Lightspeed or something in the Nightmare kingdom… could have them in the level 80 area and send them back as your Elite Royal Guard or something when not working at the guild.” Emerald said while he hoped this calmed Bubblegum a bit.

“Well…” Bubblegum said as Surge grins.

“Does sound like a good deal. We’ll show that receptionist that we’re not mid class.”

“Huh?” Bubblegum said as Emerald sweatdrops.

“H-Hehe… sorry… Lulubell, a Shadow Receptionist at the Dream Guild was rather blunt with Team Lightspeed calling them weak and stuff… hopefully after 2 weeks or so she may change her mind on that.” Emerald said while he chuckles nervously as Surge looked ready to rumble already.

“Well… since I can’t make you come back, guess training Team Lightspeed can help.” Bubblegum said.

“Hehe… well I wouldn’t say that Bonnie… given what Dawn just said… pretty sure Emerald will be visiting a LOT for a certain someone…” Marceline said when she smirks teasingly at her daughter.

Dawn blushes from that though Maite decided to walk out of the room.

Not many noticed besides Emerald and as he was quiet for a moment…

“Hehe… you know Bonnie… if you're desperate to keep Emerald around… why not see if Dawn can share a bit and we try and make it so Emerald is eager to come back?... Finn travels a lot and more or less sees a number of ladies and stuff… honestly aside from checkups and what not he barely seems to sit around so why don’t we make sure we get a guy to fool around with… given what Dawn said… not lacking…” Marceline said when she smirks teasingly at Bubblegum.

“H-Hey.” Dawn said as Bubblegum blushes.

“Huh?” Phoebe said as Marceline smirks.

“Hehe hey not the strangest relationship I heard about, heard this mother daughter duo likes to tag team a guy and stuff… if we're lacking in Guild skills, may as well make up for it with seduction skills… doubt Bonnie and I are lacking in making guys weak in the knees hehe.” Marceline said when she smirks at her daughter and the other ladies.

Dawn blushes brightly as Bubblegum clears her throat.

“E-Either way, I’m sure there’s more to discuss.”

“Maybe… for now we should take a break while we process things… no reason to force Emerald to stay but given he will be back for a couple days… may as well think of this as time to convince him to… hehe… stick around for long periods of time… given the scents on him… no virgin by a long shot thats for sure… no amount of showers can get rid of all those scents.” Marceline said when she strums her guitar.

Dawn blushes brightly when her Vampire mom was able to sense that as Bubblegum blushes a bit.

“T-That is true.”

Emerald though blushing did rub his head.

“Yeah… probably best… may want to plan some dates for Bronwyn and Dawn here as well… for now if you’ll excuse me your highnesses, Milady Flame… need to check on something real quick.” Emerald said before he ran out of the room after where Maite went.

“Where’s he going?” Phoebe said.

“Don’t know, although where’s Maite?” Cedric said as he noticed her gone.

“Eh I’ll help Emerald look if he is looking for her, may as well make sure he doesn’t put his two feet in his own mouth.” Surge said before she ran off after Emerald and well Marceline looks amused.

“Unless those two have a thing for Emerald… what are the chances Emerald gets two new ladies?” Marceline said while she looks amused.

“Hehe… knowing them, they’ll have Emerald in… 10 minutes.” Cedric joked.

Azure shakes her head.

“Seriously?... well given things Surge maybe… Maite… she may need some convincing… for now… we should let Clover know at the guild that Emerald is back for now so she can say hello to him later.” Azure said while she gestured for Cedric to follow her outside of the throne room.

“Right. Sorry for the mission, your highness.” Cedric said as he follows Azure.

After this happened, Bubblegum groans as she had a hand on her face.

“Oh Glob… what will I tell Lady Life when she gets here… if I’m lucky… she comes alone… unlucky… she could bring Undeath…” Bubblegum said as Dawn tried to calm her mom.

“Don’t worry Mama… I’m sure Lady Life will understand, same with Un if she shows up, least Emerald can teleport here and back daily so not like he can’t be called for a fast return right?” Dawn said while she smiles at her mom.

“Maybe… curse that Guildmaster and those teams. I should’ve kept a close eye on this.” Bubblegum said.

“Well too late to worry about it now, can just make the best of a bad situation, so Dawn… just to check… Emerald take you on a date yet or did you do things in the bed too much to think dates hehe.” Marceline said to make the situation focus on Dawn for now and have a slight subject change.

Dawn blushes.

“H-He took me on a date.” She said.

As Marceline smirks… the scene went to Emerald as he tracked Maite down with Surge tagging along with him… they found her more or less swinging her hammer with an angry look on her face in some kind of small training ground.

“Maite?” Emerald said when he saw Maite really working up a sweat already.

“Ohhh… best to wait. Maite here is trying to get that anger out.” Surge said.

“Anger?... why would she be angry?” Emerald said obvious to Maite and by proxy what Surge felt though Maite was much more… obvious… her eyes did glow ominously when she heard the why would she be Angry party though…

Surge sweatdrops.

“Well…” before she whispers in Emerald’s ear.

Emerald though got wide eyes and blushed when he looks at Surge.

“Wait… you and Maite had a crush on me!?” Emerald said making Maite stop swinging her hammer mid-swing and blushed immensely when Emerald genuinely sounds shocked.

“Surge!” Maite said.

“What?… we both wanted to tell Emerald. But couldn’t thanks to that team. Besides, better late than ever now we’re here.” Surge said before looking at Emerald.

“As for you Mister… you made us worried sick. When we heard you left, Maite and I actually fainted.”

Emerald comically though gave her a half lidded look.

“OK… you nearly had me… honestly I get Maite fainting since she does have a thing when I worked with your team in being scared of ghosts to an insane level like jumping in arms levels of scared… but YOU… the badass unflinching foul mouthed woman who CURSED out a actual A rank Monster alone… fainting?... even if that did happen… why not tell me BEFORE I left… been in the Candy Kingdom for many years after all.” Emerald said while he had a look of disbelief in hearing Surge… fainting… that combo just didn’t fit in his imagination…

Surge actually blushes.

“Fair enough… and though I can deny things… Cedric and Azure can verify that we did faint.. As for the confession… we wanted to but… well obvious with Maite but for me… I get… a bit tongue tied.”

Emerald though rubs the back of his head.

“M-Maybe… but YOU… tongue tied… you cursed out Bubblegum and Marceline one time when… THAT… incident happened and you left them stunned… your one of the people I least expect to hold back… I mean you brag about how many men and women you got with sometimes… look… even IF that was legit… even if you and Maite did like me… I’m pretty sure you would have to talk with at very least… Shade, Bronwyn, and Dawn before they would even accept me dating you two… given things I may as well cut things down by saying I’m honored you two would like me… but you got to get by three ladies who may have some things to say to you two and stuff first.” Emerald said while he blushed a the duo.

Surge got serious.

“Alright… give me 10 minutes with those broads.” She said.

“Well… Dawn and Bronwyn sure they are back in the throne room… Shade… would have to swing by the Nightmare kingdom… just a word of warning… while she may not kill you… if you curse her and her sisters out… one of them could wish for you to be at Level 1 again… and STUCK there…” Emerald said in warning to Surge.

Surge would scoff but… Shade is a powerful wish Master.
