Chapter Text
Harry learns some hidden information about Louis' identity.
"Hello?", Harry asked.
"Hi, this is Doncaster Palace calling for Prince Louis Tomlinson?"
"What?"
"The Prince was warned of this yesterday. Is he available?"
"No, sorry. Louis is not here at the moment but I will pass on a message."
"Great, thank you."
Then, Louis came inside to get his phone. He forgot it when he left for work.
"Hey, love. Have you seen my phone?"
"You mean this phone? On the table?"
"Yes, did something happen?"
"I didn't know you were a Prince, now did I?"
"I told them-"
"But you didn't tell me! I'm your husband, Louis! We're supposed to be a team!"
"Harry, I only found out the other day!"
"The other day?! The day we went out for dinner. The day you rejected my movie night proposal. The day you- our anniversary."
"Harry, I swear once it was all sorted and over I would've told you."
"Well, apparently they want you back."
"Har-"
"Leave, Louis. Go to work, or wherever you are going to."
"Harry, can we talk?"
"I'm busy right now. I have to process this."
______________________________
Three days later
Louis: Harry, please talk to me. I cannot do this without you. I love you so much.
Seen. That was Harry's response to my message. I understand him, his feelings towards this. I just wish he knew more. Sure, I found out that I could be part of a royal family after we got married. But I told them I didn't want to be included in it. I told them I've never been known to it and that I've decided to live a normal life with my husband. My husband who has been ignoring me for the past few days. I stayed at our friend's house, Niall. He allowed me to come in and get my emotions out. Now I'm going back home.
"Hello?"
"Who is it?"
"It's Louis."
"Oh."
"I'm sorry, I just really have to talk to you. I miss you and I have to tell you everything. I swear it's the truth."
"Okay."
"Listen, I knew this after we got married. A few months after. I do not know how they contacted me or whatnot. Immediately I let them know that I did not want to be a Prince. On our anniversary, they told me I should be there by the end of the week. I said no to that too, Harry. I know I should've told you. I just thought you wouldn't want to be with me if you knew my bloodline."
"Louis, I married you with the promise of being there in good and bad times. This can change your life, Louis! This could change our lives."
"I know, Harry. I wish I told you. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. You should talk to them. Your biological family. If you want to. Maybe they'll have answers."
"You realize the severity of this?"
"Of course I do."
"Can I please come home?"
"You haven't left my heart, or mind, you know?"
"What?"
"If you're needed as Prince, and there's no other solution, you'll be Prince, right? And I'll hopefully be your husband. I want to be with you forever. This disagreement we had, doesn't change that. It does not change the way I feel about you or our marriage. I love you so much, Louis. I wish I found you earlier."
"I love you more."
