A teenage boy named Yoongi who, after witnessing the brutal murder of his parents at the hands of a mafia group, develops the ability to start fires with his hands. Six years later, in 2016, he sets a fire in an attempt to end his own life but inadvertently causes a massive explosion that changes Seoul forever.
The event, known as "D-Day" marks the beginning of a series of similar incidents where, 7 boys with traumatic pasts and mysterious powers are involved.
By 2025, Seoul is still recovering from the devastation. Yoongi, who had escaped from the mafia's control, discovers that six other boys share similar traumatic experiences, though his was the most severe. They form a group tasked with protecting the city at night, fending off the unknown men responsible for their suffering.
Yoongi grapples with the guilt of being the cause of the city's transformation and the ruin of the other boys' lives. He hides the truth of his past and the role he played in the catastrophe from the others. Fearful that revealing it would further damage their already fragile lives.
Despite his powers, he feels
trapped and burdened by his past, struggling to reconcile his actions and protect his newfound family.
