Chapter 1: A night to remember

Chapter Text

It was the start of a fantastic day for Ratchet and Rivet. After all, they are supposed to celebrate nearly defeating Nefarious’s Empire. While both of them would have rather finished the job of cleansing Rivet's dimension of any sign of this tyrant, the PDF’s (Polaris Defense force) high brass has decided to host a charity event in Ratchet's dimension instead.

While the war effort itself is doing just fine, mostly due to the Lombaxes, the reconstruction effort is not doing as well. Sometimes due to acts of sabotage or just war damages, critical infrastructure is being damaged or destroyed, possibly endangering millions in the process. Polaris's government is doing its best in providing for the immediate repairs, long term solutions would have to be provided by the public sector. That’s why PDF, alongside Constantin Struction, the CEO of the Galaxy's biggest construction firm, is hosting a private charity event to raise funds necessary to fix the most important damages. The richest and most influential names in the galaxy will be attending it to provide additional funding for the effort.

Naturally, this leaves Rivet a little nervous. After all, it’s her first time dealing with the upper class, at least when it comes to being friendly with them. If she fumbles this event in any way, she'll make current and future recovery efforts way harder than it already is. She can’t live with the thought of those lost souls that perish due to lack of food and water. While the night itself was rather peaceful, the morning itself was filled with anxiety. Of course, she had her yellow robotic companion with her, an unlikely friend considering the history they have, who does her best to calm Rivet down. Unfortunately, her own experience with socializing wasn’t the best, with the whole being a war machine and in self-imposed exile for most of her life.

While sitting in her luxurious hotel room, full of classical paintings, marble statues, and the most exotic of plants, Kit gave the idea to call Rachet, who surely has experience dealing with such situations. Rivet thanked her for the idea, walking to her communicator located on the dresser beneath the holovision, walking to the balcony, and opening the grand glass door to the sight of Megalopolis below. Waiting for Ratchet to answer, she decided to get a proper look at the massive city, especially since she arrived in the hotel after dusk due to some unfortunate attack from the Emperor's remaining army. The city itself was in way better shape compared to the first time she saw it, with destruction both Nefariouses caused being completely repaired. The cloudless day made most structures shine, the occasional advertisement pilfering otherwise pristine landscape. The lack of military is a bizarre sight to her, but one she would like to see more of. Now if only her dimension could look like this someday.

“Hello, Riv, how are you doing?”- The dialing sound was replaced by Ratchet's voice, sounding like he just woke up.

“Hey, Ratch, hope I didn’t wake you up. I just hope to get some advice.”- Rivet replied, trying to not sound too nervous.

“Nah, I was just waking up anyway. It feels great to finally sleep in your bed, you know. Anyways, what’s up”

“Well It’s about the charity we are attending and well… let’s just say my usual language may not be up to the standards of the upper-crusters in here, and since you were the galactic hero I might assume you know how to handle this whole… you know… making-a-speech thing.”

“Huh?”- Chuckled Ratchet “Well, it’s rather funny how you have no problem going solo into the Emperor's bases or slinging insults at Zurkies, but the thought of some old farts makes you nervous.”

“Hey! Your dimension doesn’t rely on them giving away large amounts of bolts to reconstruct it, OK?!''- Replied a rather tense Rivet. Her voice scared away some pigeons that were sitting on the roof.

“Whoa, whoa, relax, I was just joking a bit. Look, I know how it feels, alright?”- Ratchet started to say in a rather concerned voice. “Back when I first started, I wasn’t any better than you were at talking, living in the middle of nowhere and all. Heck, I might say you are better at this than I was.”

While Ratchet continued to talk, Rivet started to pace on the marble flooring of the balcony, still unsure of his words.

“But with time, you pick up on how those people act, and well… they mostly leave you alone, all things considered. With all of them having their own lives, they tended to not chat with me much, with the occasional deal here and there, mostly handled by Clank anyway. So trust me, you will do just fine.”

“I don’t know, you make it sound a bit too easy in my opinion. Besides, you know my attitude towards those types of people.”- Rivet started, leaning on the railing, her heartbeat slowing down.

“Riv, as I said, you are more than prepared. Don’t forget about all those lives you already helped, all the robots you demolished, and all the friends you made. You are amazingly brave and selfless, not giving up despite all the adversity you suffered. Trust me, everything is going to be ok, you have nothing to worry about. Besides, I’m going to be next to you on the stage, and believe me, if you need help before the big event, I will be there for you, ok?”

Rivet started to form a smile on her face. Not being able to believe this is happening. She can’t believe that she is even showing her troubles to anyone outside from the Morts, but it’s always a bit different when it comes from someone outside of family. Being able to finally show weakness to anyone has been an amazing experience, like a huge rock being lifted from her heart. She couldn’t have imagined a better result coming from that anomaly, and she would never change them for anything else.

“Thank you Ratchet, that meant a lot.”- She replied, her mind now fully calmed down.

“No problem, Riv.”- Replied Ratchet. “Don’t forget that we get to the event place two hours earlier, so we can rehearse the opening ceremony.”

“Yeah yeah, I remember, Kit only reminded me thirty-five times already. I’m guessing Bolts has you told you already?”

“Well, it seems Clank is rubbing off on you at least, isn’t he?”- Rivet could vaguely hear Clank chuckling in the background. “In any case, better take in the sights of the city. Remember, that we are here for less than a week, so take any time you have to enjoy yourself.”

“I sure will. I did spot that firing range when we were arriving at the hotel, do you think they would give me some freebies if I ask them nicely?”- the thought of testing out some weapons almost makes her forget about the stress.

“I don’t know, Riv, they sure as heck don’t hand me any, although with your ‘negotiating skills’ you should be able to convince them.”

“Well, I will test your theory in practice. See you at the rehearsal!”- Said Rivet, her voice now filled with joy.

“See ya!”- Ratchet ended the phone call and put down his phone on the nightstand. He is glad that Rivet has opened up to him. Hell, he can remember himself back when he first met Clank and how similar he was to Rivet. Sure, she still is more extroverted compared to him, but the differences he saw in her were noticeable.

“So, how is Rivet doing?”- Asked Clank, Entering the bedroom.

“Oh, don’t worry pal, she is doing just fine.”- Replied Ratchet, turning around to see him.

The room itself is rather spartan in its decor, especially for someone as important as a galactic hero. The blue metallic walls are covered by Ratchet’s promotional posters, the similarly colored flooring only covered with a highly used rug. The furniture itself is nothing extravagant as well, with it being functional and comfortable enough. The one thing that didn’t change with becoming a hero, is Ratchet’s taste for inexpensive interiors. He would spend his bolts on a new gun, or an upgrade to Aphelion. Not that he has much anyway, with PDF not being the greatest in regards to payment, having to mostly rely on sponsorship deals to get something fancy. Well, at least Clank’s days as the accountant for Megacorp do pay off nicely, with his ‘creative accounting’.

“Well, it’s good to see her acclimating to the city, even if it’s for a short while.”

“Yeah, with months of constant planetary liberation, anyone would want to relax a bit, you know? Thankfully, the Emperor’s remaining forces are weak enough that they wouldn’t do anything stupid. Especially after PDF finally decided to be a bit more useful and hold up potential attacks on its own.”

“PDF was indeed less than great in that regard, but thankfully it seems that full liberation is a month away. Well, what plan do you have after it’s all over?” -Asked Clank, his green eyes shining with interest.

“Well, I will probably take a month's break after this, relax a bit, and probably take Rivet to the Lombax dimension. She did renew my interest in going there, you know? After that, who knows what we may see there.”- Explained Ratchet, picking up his usual uniform from the wardrobe.

“In that case, it’s good that you renewed your interest in becoming a hero again.”- Replied Clank, his red antenna glowing with excitement.

“Yeah, you can thank Rivet for that.”- Ratchet's eyes started to glitter with happiness.

“Honestly, meeting Rivet has been one of the best things that has happened to me. Reminding myself of an older, more heroic me has made me realize some things about how I live. But you already know all of that, don’t you?”

“Yes, these last couple of months you sure have shown more of your pre-retirement self. But enough about the past.”- Clank noted. “What’s our plan for today?”

“Well, I’m honestly wanting to catch up with our friends here, you know?” The Lombax replied, fastening his belt. “I mean, chatting to someone face to face is way better than through the communicator, not to mention not knowing if someone is asleep, making things more difficult.”

“That’s true enough.”

“Well, let’s get going then!” Shouted Ratchet, Finishing putting on his boots.” The day is still young and we can’t let it go to waste.”

“You're right!” Replied Clank, jumping on his back. “Let's make the most out of our break.”

The duo left their apartment, setting off to the city they missed. The day itself went by quickly, while Rivet and Kit were killing it on the range, quickly climbing the leaderboards and rivaling those of Ratchet, He and Clank visited a couple of their friends in Megalopolis. While the relaxation has been a blessing for them, unfortunately, their time off has come to an end, and now they need to rehearse their Ceremony.

Both Lombaxes parked their ships in the building's parking lot. Fortunately, they met each other while going into the Elevator, giving a quick hug as a greeting. Once in the Elevator, Rivet's doubt was put to ease, seeing her closest friend be near her. When the elevator stopped, they couldn't believe their eyes.

Exiting the elevator, they saw a purely white room, filled with marble walls and ceiling, which had a similar color to that of clouds. This effect is only strengthened with a fully digital floor, showcasing the bird's eye view of the city below. The coverage of it being interrupted by occasional clouds or birds flying by, as well as the tops of some of the smaller buildings. The addition of artificial fog, making the floor less clear, makes them seem like they are on top of the world. With neither of the heroes used to being in such a fine establishment, they truly became starstruck.

The large hall itself was getting set up by the army of staff bringing tables, chairs, tablecloths, and anything else to make a functioning dinner service as close to perfect as possible. The complete set makes it look like it was sculpted out of the clouds, despite the fact it took nothing more than a bit of skill on the part of the server. The candles and flowers decorating the tables make for an amazing splash of color that this place needs.

But for now, the heroes are focused on the stage, located on the left of the elevator. From there, they can already see a host of tonight’s gala, a well-dressed Cazar was looking at what seems to be a script, looking a bit flustered reading it. Upon approaching him, he introduces himself as a host of a popular game show “Familiada”, making him somewhat famous.

During the first rehearsal, Ratchet came up first in the order, and so Rivet was able to hear his speech. The sheer soul that he put into that speech made her regain hope. It wasn’t the best told speech, but a summary of his adventures. Like the friends he made, including her of course, and how he never lost hope in all of this and wished that others wouldn't lose it either, made her shed a tear. Which she quickly hid, not wanting to expose her weaker side to anyone who could have seen it.

When it came to her turn, she felt calm, like she was giving another motivational speech to the resistance. About the struggle they faced and the lives they saved, and of course the fighting itself may be over, but the struggle will continue. Just because the fighting itself may end, the damage that was caused by the empire is immense and will require lots of work. She ended her speech with a plea for any assistance, wishing for a better future in her home universe. The speeches were received well by the host and some of the staff, all the Lombaxes had to do was polish them up and wait for the grand event.

The remaining hours flew by. While the heroes and other speechmakers were fine tuning their acts, the waiters were finishing with setting up the rest of the hall. The final plates and cutlery were placed just in time for the first guests. To say they were important in the business world would be an understatement. CEOs, Philanthropists, magnates, and socialites from all over the galaxy came to this event to pledge their support. Names such as Andrea Sniverpool, Janus Vement, Tobias Rieper, Dalia Margolis and many more famous figures. All of them dressed in the finest suits and dresses, which makes the uniforms the two Lombaxes wear look basic by comparison. While they feel a bit ashamed, the host told them that this will help, since he can see that they are on the front lines making the change happen. The only thing that they should have brought is dirty uniforms to show it even more.

Once most guests arrived, the event officially started. By now, the only lights that can be seen are artificial ones or glittering stars in the night sky. The ceiling of the hall had of course a similar pattern, while also making sure no one trips over a table. Both Lombaxes had some nerves coming back when it came to their parts, but they did calm one another down while the other entered the stage. The speeches themselves went well, ending with applause from the guests. They unfortunately had to stand for the rest of the speeches, which mostly consisted of politicians stroking their egos and begging for campaign funding. While for Ratchet it wasn’t anything new, Rivet did feel a bit disappointed at the state of affairs.

The speeches were over and now the Lombaxes needed to find their table, since in all that rush, they forgot where their companions were seated. Thankfully, they were able to find them sitting in one of the more remote corners of the room. Their smiles were a sign of success on the Lombaxes part.

“Congratulations on a successful speech, you two.”- Said Clank, giving a quick clap.

“Thanks, buddy.”- Replied Ratchet, taking a seat. “I sure did not miss doing this, with all that stress.”

“I do think you did well, Ratchet.”- Chimed in Kit with a gleeful smile “And of course, you too did an amazing job.”- She said looking at Rivet

“Thank you, Kit.”- The Lombax replied, taking a seat opposite Ratchet’s. “So how are you taking in the event?”

“Oh, it’s truly wonderful!”- The bot replied with wonder in her eyes. “I have never seen anything like this, and I do like it! How about you?”

“Well, it isn’t exactly Zurkies, you know?”- She replied with a bit more unease. “It’s not my type of place to attend. Way too cramped for my style.”

“I do have to agree, Riv.”-Ratchet popped in to confirm. “It’s not the worst thing in the world, since most of the guests leave me alone. But I hope you will enjoy it at least a little bit.”

“With your company, how can’t I?” Rivet replied, her mood improving a lot. “Well, I do think we should celebrate our current victories, shouldn't we?” Rivet stood up, champagne glass in hand. The rest of the table following suit. “To a better future!”

The table clinked their glasses and drank what they had in them. In the case of Clank and kit, there was nothing in theirs on account of them being machines, plus the kitchen not having any sort of oil they can consume. Not that they are insulted by this, with the rest of the guests being organic, and staff as well interestingly enough.

After the Lombaxes chugged their drinks, everyone at the table sat down and started to chat with each other about their day, recounting some of their adventures together. The minutes quickly went on, the laughs and chatter being interrupted by quick rehydration by the champagne. The silky quality of it, not to mention the lack of any sort of burning feeling made it perfect to drink. That is despite its rather high concentration of alcohol, making our Lombaxes quite buzzed just after a couple of glasses.

The conversation was interrupted by the arrival of the waiter. He politely interrupted the table, giving each Lombax a tablet. On there, one could select a specific dish, one of dozens, and then a holographic display of the dish alongside a voiced description of the food would show up. While the Lombaxes were slowly scrolling through the list, the waiter was apologizing for the lack of any robot friendly dishes. Clank calms him down, after all, there weren’t supposed to be many bots to begin with. Besides, it's not like they would have gone hungry.

“Man, the selection here is quite big, isn’t it?”- Ratchet asked, looking at Rivet.

“Yeah, some of this stuff is blowing my mind with how elaborate and creative it is.” She replied, scratching her head. “I Mean some of this stuff looks appetizing, but I do think I will take something simpler.”

“I assure you, madam…”- Started the waiter “that the quality of all our dishes will be of satisfactory quality. I assume I can now collect your orders?”

“Yeah, I think I will have the stuffed clam.”- Answered Ratchet, looking at the waiter. “And what about you, Riv?”

“I think I will get a cream-filled sausage with some rice.” She replied, giving the menu to the waiter. “Oh, and bring more of that champagne too!”

“Oh yeah, it’s really good.”- Chimed in Ratchet “You can tell whoever made it that they have my seal of approval.”

“I’m sure the winemaker will be happy to hear such an endorsement.” Replied the waiter. “Your dishes will be here in about 15 minutes.”

The waiter started walking back to the kitchen. When the table thought that they could start chatting again, a rather tall and muscular man approached the table. The suited Markazian had some trouble walking straight, not to mention his crooked tie and stained jacket showing that he enjoyed his drinks.

“Good evening to our wonderful h-heroes….”- Started the man, correcting his glasses. “I must say, that speech of yours was amazing, and I do hope the best for our heroic couple.”- He continued with slightly slurred speech.

“Well thank you, good sir.” Replied Clank, looking up at the imposing man. “But I must inform you that Ratchet and Rivet aren’t in a relationship.”

“Wait, what?” The drunken man asked in a bit of a shock, leaning on the table. “How the hell aren't they together? I mean, look at them, they are practically made for each other.”- His anger somehow making him sober.

“Look, what’s your name sir?” The bot asked, wanting to defuse the situation.

“I’m Senator Armstrong, serving my 3rd term in the Senate.” He replied, posing like he was on a poster.

“Look, Mr. Armstrong-”

“Senator! Armstrong!”- The senator shouted.

“Senator Armstrong… I understand that they may be-in your personal opinion, looking like a couple, but I assure you that there is nothing to prove such an accusation.”

“Yeah sure, it’s not like anyone with a working pair of eyes can see that they act like a couple. I did see how she looked at him with that longing gaze. Not to mention his similar reaction to her.”- The senator started to get animated, moving his arms around. “And if that isn't a sight of love, I don’t know what is.”

“Wel-”

“Also, assuming that they aren't already a couple, why shouldn't they try? Even a basic understanding of how they act and work could tell that they are practically made for each other. I mean, they are practically the same person, personality wise at least. Any person in a successful relationship will tell you that having matching personalities is way more important than looks alone…”

“Senator Armstrong, I do have to ask you to leave our table!”- Clank has raised his voice, trying to interject. “You have been extremely rude in regards to the personal lives of Ratchet and Rivet. I would highly suggest that you leave us alone, otherwise I will have to ask staff for help in that matter.”

“Yeah, yeah I get the memo.”- Started the senator, waving Clank off. “But I do suggest that the Lombaxes think this through!”

Armstrong started walking away from the table, shortly being lost in an army of staff serving everyone's tables.

“Apologies everyone, it seems some people have a habit of getting involved in others' lives. Hopefully, it wasn’t too bad of an experience.”- Asked Clank, looking at the Lombaxes, but the heroes could not hear the question being asked, with both of them being bombarded by the thoughts the Senator suggested.

“Me and Rivet… together?” -Thought Ratchet to himself, shockingly looking at the table. “No, that’s nonsense. After all, I don't even find her attractive. Or… maybe I do? Now thinking about it, she does have beautiful eyes. Ones I could look into endless… NO! I can’t ruin this! I can’t ruin my friendship with her! Nope, this is just an intrusive thought that will go away soon.” He continued, looking nervously around the room, ignoring the argument happening in front of him.

“Yeah, let’s just distract myself and all will be well. Let's see what I have to do soon. Well, there is packing up more stuff to continue fighting in Rivet’s dimension-err, having a maintenance check on Aphelion with Riv. What else, what else? Oh, and help her with her arm… Why does everything I do have to do with her?!

“Ok, Riv, I know it's a bit out there of an idea, after all, me and Ratchet?”- Thought Rivet, looking at her legs. “That’s absurd, it’s not like I’m attractive or anything. Besides, there is nothing good looking in him. Well… maybe besides his smile, I could look into it for eternity… No, no, no, no. I can’t lose his friendship, I mean he is the closest friend I had for years.”- She nervously started to look around, hoping to find a distraction from her thoughts. “Look, maybe if I distract myself with something else, I will forget about this. Yeah, maybe if I drink something I will forget that this happened.” She started to pick up her glass, ignoring the argument happening around, before quickly changing her mind. “What if this whole thing is thanks to alcohol?! I mean, sure, I sometimes get wasted at Zurkie’s, but who knows what’s in here?!”

Clank continued looking at the Lombaxes, trying to understand what was happening with them. It’s not long until he realizes that they are thinking about each other, and after thinking about it for a moment, he does have to agree with the senator somewhat. He then decided to try to nudge them into this a bit more, hoping they could be happy together. If it doesn't work out, they can always stay friends, just like with Sasha.

“Err, is anyone there?”- Asked Clank loudly, wanting to get their attention.

“Oh yeah, sure, nothing bad happened, yeah ehh…”- Quickly replied Ratchet, trying to not look shocked at the sudden noise.

“Yeah, yeah loud and clear on my end too!”- Interrupted Rivet, confirming that she can hear.

“Well, that’s great to hear.”- Said Clank, grinning in anticipation of what was about to happen. “Thankfully, he didn’t go too much into his whole spiel. Could you imagine what he could have done if he started going into your sexual lives? And complementing the ‘assets’ you have?”- Clank stopped for a moment, a smile starting to form on his face. “Oh, it seems I did bring it up, didn’t I?”

But once again, the Lombaxes could not reply to the question, as more interesting images were starting to appear in their heads. As quickly as those lewd images have appeared, they disappeared, making up room for more of them. Of course, both Lombaxes wanted to remove such thoughts from their minds, but it seems to be a more difficult battle than they have faced in a while.
“Why can’t my stupid brain just stop doing that!?!”- They both thought, practically in unison.

“Uh, Clank?”- Stared Kit, her face filled with confusion. “What’s happening to Ratchet and Rivet?”

“Oh, it’s probably from hunger, isn’t it?”- Replied Clank, giving Ratchet a wink.
Kit didn’t know what was exactly happening. She decided to just accept the current situation as what usually happens at parties like these. In the meantime, the Lombaxes were losing the battle happening in their minds. Both of them just wish they could eat something, be it from each other or a meal.

Thankfully, their prayers were answered, when a few moments later, a waiter finally arrived at the table bringing covered up plates. Hopefully with something the Lombaxes could distract themselves with. After all, Clank may be partially right with what he is saying, since they last ate before arriving at the event.

The waiter first put a plate in front of Ratchet and pulled up the cloche. Underneath it was a sight to behold. An enormous clam around the size of his head was lying on the plate, the open side of the shell facing him, giving off the appearance of lips. Inside of its mouth is full of what seems to be mashed potatoes combined with cream cheese, giving it a smooth, almost liquid texture. It’s holding its shape pretty well, but small parts of it start to ooze out of it at the bottom. Overall, combined with the meat that is still inside it makes for an appetizing and full meal. Not that it’s what Ratchet currently has on his mind. He is completely hypnotized by what he sees, and tries not to look at it in such a perverted way, but he fails miserably.

In the meantime, the waiter has pulled up the cloche of Rivet's plate. Underneath it, she can see a particularly large sausage, at least 8 inches in length, sitting in the middle of the plate, with grill marks being highly visible. On one end of it, pointing directly at Rivet, sits a large mushroom, matching the sausage's overall slick texture. At the opposite end of it, sits two large ball-shaped mounds of rice. Overall, the meal looks pleasant to look at, and hopefully it’s as pleasant to eat. Of course, thanks to its shape, Rivet continued to struggle with her own mind's suggestions.

Once the dish was fully uncovered, the waiter jumped in shock, clearly unaware of the dish's unclean Image.

“My deepest apologies, madam,”- He started, looking directly at Rivet. “I wasn’t aware there was such an abhorred way for someone to present this dish. I will take it to the kitchen right now so this mistake can be corrected.”

“I’m pretty sure it won’t be necessary.”- Interrupted Clank, happy with the outcome of the meals. “I assure you that my friends here are really hungry after such a long day,”

“Ah, yes, of course.”- Replied the Waiter, winking at the bot. “I understand that our heroes would love to spend some time together, so I will leave them to it.” He started to turn around before remembering something and pulling a bottle of motor oil out of his pocket. “Oh, and before I forget, here is something we were able to find. Hope you enjoy it!”

“I’m pleasantly surprised, thank you.”- The bot replied, picking up the bottle and pouring some oil into his and Kit’s glass. He then turned towards his partner “Well, I do hope you find your food appealing, Ratchet.”

“I wish I could do this to you Riv.”- He muttered quietly, being far too preoccupied with battling his mind to realize what was happening. The tightness in his pants not helping the matter, but suddenly he regained his conscience and realized what he had just said. “I mean, I wish I could make it at home for you Riv, since you-this looks very appetizing!” He answered grinning wildly, hoping that she wouldn’t learn of his thoughts. Not that Clank was buying it for a second.

“Yeah…”- Clank started to look towards Rivet, not concerned with what was just told. “And how about you Rivet?”

“I hope Ratchet has something similar…”- She muttered, her mind barely understanding what was happening around her. Moments later, she processed what she said and jumped a little. “Well, I sure hope that I can find a similar chunk of meat inside Ratchet’s pants-FRIDGE! Since I would love to eat more of it someday!”- She replied enthusiastically, eyes filled with terror, hoping nothing bad had happened.

Clank waited a moment, calculating how desperate these two are. “Well… In that case, I wish both of you a great meal!”

Rivet, wanting to put a piece of meat in her mouth, picked it up with her hand. She then slowly started putting it closer to her lips, the end of it now less than an inch in front of her. She pulled out her tongue and started to lick the tip of it, savoring its taste. Each inch was covered with her tongue and the experience for her was divine. Shortly after she put the wiener into her mouth, making sure not to bite into it just yet. She then started to slowly start to move it back and forth in her mouth, unaware of how she looks now.

Ratchet meanwhile slowly started to put his face in front of the clam, being able to see its creamed insides dripping out. He then started to slowly lick the outside of the clam, gathering any juice that was oozing from it. Each lick gave him a filling taste, and he wished to get more. Once the cream ran out on the clam's lips, he decided to stick his tongue inside, slowly scooping the filling out with it. The Lombax was also oblivious to his looks, only wishing to eat more of it.

“Ehhhhh, guys!?”- Kit loudly interrupted, not sure what to make of this situation.

Then both Lombaxes realized what was happening. Rivet dropped the sausage while Ratchet straightened himself out. They both know that they are far too deep to continue fighting those acts with other around. They needed a room now.

“Oh right, I’m going to go to the bathroom, since I haven't used one since forever!”- Rivet expressed, quickly starting to walk towards the hallway to use one.

“Thinking about it, I need to as well!”- Ratchet shouted, following behind Rivet.

Kit looked at Clank, who started to regret his decisions a bit, but on the other hand, he will have some great stories to tell later[e].

Rivet lead the charge towards the toilets, constantly looking around her to see if anyone was watching her, not that she could concentrate on anything anyway. Especially not on any of the steps in front of her, making her trip over and fall face first. The only thing sticking out above her was her tail as well as the rest of her back. With Ratchet right behind her, it stimulated him enough to make a run towards the toilets. He then quickly took a fierce left turn, leading to the toilets on the right of him. Rivet shortly followed suit, taking the second left this time as well as the doors to the left as well.
