Chapter Text
On a clear summer night, a guy was walking the streets. running a hand through his jet-black hair he looks down at his watch "Damnit I'm late"
He sped up, speed-walking down a few more blocks before making one more turn down an alleyway with a neon sign that hurt his eyes even to try and read. He walked under the sign, approached the door, and entered the establishment.
He finds a woman with a faint fern color and hair green as grass, styled in a medium bob manning the bar and serving its attendants.
One of them was a woman who looked normal with her black leather jacket and navy-blue T-shirt underneath, but her bottom half had scaly green serpentine twin tails for where her legs should be. She looked to be joking and laughing around with a few friends and a drink in hand
He walked past an adjacent smaller room and saw a couple of people with purple and orange shirts playing a game around a pool table.
He walks past a few booths until he came across one with four people, his friends, Xander and Tsukihana, and their parents, Kai and Emiko Morioka
"Finally, you made it" Hana exclaimed in a teasing tone
"A bit late but at least you showed up" Xander teased
"Well I did get jumped by a fucking giant but that bastard didn't see what he had coming" Jack replied before he heard someone clear their throat
"I Know you're an adult but there is no need to be so crash, cussing like you are a sailor every other third word." Emiko Chides
"Does being a son of Poseidon still warrant it, ma'am?" Jackson asks the demi-titaness.
She shakes her head "Not even a son of Poseidon" She states 'matter of factly'
"Come, sit," Kai instructs patting a spot on the other side of him. Jackson obliged and took a seat in the booth "Is Your mother coming?"
Jackson curtly nods "She is. She just needed to do a quick errand run so she just said I could go ahead and meet here"
"That's awesome. It's been a while since I've seen Sally. I can tell her about this new mortal I've met" Emiko commented
"I didn't know you were that close with my mother?" Jackson mused
"Oh sweetie she and I were friends, even tho we live in two different states" The older half-blood chuckles and waves off
"Oh, Hey guys. The Mic is free. What do you say, you boys up for a song or two" Hana suggested as she pointed to the small stage at the front
"I'm up," her dirty blonde-haired cousin shrugged and agreed "Jack"
"Sure, I don't mind." he shrugs as well "Got any on the mind already, Han?"
"We'll see" she simply hummed
