Chapter 1: Enter, Izuku Midoriya!
Chapter Text
December 18th, 2003.
In Shizuoka prefecture, in a little town, we see a house. Its not very big, but not very small either, it has 2 floors. On the second floor, in a room, a little boy hides under the blanket. He has messy green hair, beautiful emerald-coloured eyes and diamond-shaped freckles. His name is Izuku Midoriya, and he is 2 years old. He was shaking in fear, tears were dripping out of his eyes. After few seconds, he got up out of his bed and rushed towards his parents' bedroom.
"Mommy... Daddy..." Izuku almost shouted, knocking on the door. Behind the door were heard rustling, and soon enough a Man opened the door, rubbing his eyes. He was tall, almost 180 cm high. He also had messy hair, black in colour and diamond-shaped freckles as well. His body was shaped to be athletic. He wore baggy pajamas with duck paintings. His name was Hisashi Midoriya
" What is it little guy..? Me and mommy are sleeping..." sleepily muttered a man, while yawning.
"Daddy... There's a monster under my bed..!" said Izuku in a hoarse voice while pushing his father towards his room. "Its very scary..."
"What..? A monster?" asked Hisashi, fully awake. "Don't make things up Izuku, monsters aren't real." he said, while going into Izuku's room.
"But it is!" replied Izuku, not daring to take a single step towards his bed. "It's just under there!"
Hisashi groaned and took blanket away to see, what's under the bed. And as he expected, there was nothing under there.
"See, Izuku?" calmly said Hisashi, turning to his son. "There is no one under there. Come here and take a look."
Izuku believed his father and approached him. But when he looked under his bed, Izuku froze in fear. Under his bed, was laying a monstrous creature. It's skin was rotten-green colour, It had legs growing out its spine and four arms, two on each sides. It had three eyes, each different in size. Finally, it had big mouth, it was opened, mist of hot air was emerging from there. Monster noticed them, all three eyes stared at Izuku. It started to make strange sounds, trying to reach out to them, but it was stuck. Finally, Izuku snapped out of it and with a shout of fear crawled all the way to the hallway wall. Hisashi, surprised with that behaviour, quickly approached little boy, hugging him.
"What's wrong, little guy? Did something scare you?" asked Hisashi worriedly. Izuku said nothing, but pointed towards the space under his bed. Hisashi looked there, and back at Izuku.
"Y'know what?" said Hisashi, picking Izuku up and rubbing his nose. "If you're scared, you will sleep with us today. Is it okay?"
Izuku noded, hugging his father tighter. With this, Hisashi walked back to his room, with Izuku in his hands. That night was the night, when Izuku was destined to become something big.
July 15th. 2005.
It was a fine summer day, just after the rain. Not too hot, just warm. We see a big park, flooded with trees. Many people walk there to enjoy nature or just rest. Somewhere, a family of three walks on the road, full of other people. They are the Midoriya family: Hisashi, Inko, and Izuku. Sinse he was born, Izuku could see these sinister creatures, all shapes and sizes. Some were just standing there, some were sitting on shoulders of people. After a close encounter in his bedroom, Izuku was curious about these creatures, how do they appear, what do they do, why can't other people see them, Izuku didn't know. And because he can see them, kids in his kindergarten often laugh at him, but that doesn't matter. It was his birthday, and his parents decided to go to the park to celebrate it. They were happy, discussing various things, Izuku was happy to have his parents with him. But all good things must come to an end someday. In the distance we heard screams. Midoriya's turned around to look what happened, but then were frozen in fear. Right in front of them a humanoid being were on a rampage. It didn't have a mouth, its face was covered in eyes, it was pale white. It had short hands, but very long and sharp claws. It also had four legs. The thing was killing people left and right, be it a child or an elder, no one was spared. Its hands were dripping blood.
Without a thought Hisashi took Izuku in his arms and set off running. Inko followed him right away, like all other people around. The thing noticed sudden movements and rushed towards the crowd, making weird wavy growling noises (despite not having a mouth). It reduced the distance to people in no time and it started a bloodbath. While killing people on its way, it sensed very tasty scent. After some time of looking around it looked straight at Izuku. In its vision, Izuku had waves of sweet energy, different from others, coming out of him. Monter's pupils became smal and it rushed towards Midoriya family, not caring about anything else but its hunger for this energy. Hisashi meanwhile looked behind him, staring at the multiple eyes that were glowing with hunger. The only thing he could do before it kills him is throw Izuku from its way. Moments later, monster's claws slammed Izuku's parents at once, brutally ripping their higher bodies apart. Meanwhile Izuku hit the nearest tree and fell. Crying in pain, he looked at his parents... Or what remained of them. He froze, his pupils became very small, the tears flowed with renewed vigor. But he didn't have time, the monster looked at him and slowly approached the boy, sharpening its claws. It stopped right next to Izuku and grabbed him.
Little boy screamed, sharp claws dug into his neck. "No! Let go!" shouted Izuku, punching monsters' hand. The monster then easily lifted him and held him above his head. Suddenly sounds of breaking bones and ripping flesh sounded. Izuku looked under himself, trying in vain to get free. What he saw terrified him. Head, neck and torso of monster started to rip apart, opening lines of sharp teeth and fangs. Giant snake-like tongue emerged from there and wrapped Izuku tight. While the monster slowly lowered little boy in his mouth, Izuku could only think of his short happy life with his parents. He had only one tought before the inevitable. "Please... Somebody... Save me!" he screamed internally.
Then suddenly, a flash flashed nearby, and in one moment Izuku was free from the monsters' grip. Then he heard monster screaming in pain. Monster looking angrily at the one who freed little boy. Izuku himself looked at his saviour. It was a man, 176 cm tall. He was dressed in grey kimono. He had dark-brown standing hair, sharp facial features, narrow faint-blue eyes and a scar across his nose. He sat Izuku down behind him and gave him little head pats.
"Sit here for a while, kiddo." He said, while preparing his katana "And i recommend to close your eyes, things might be dirty from here."
Izuku didn't dare to close his eyes, wanting to see everything, while monster recovered from his wound and withouta warning lunged towards the newcomer. But the man was ready and kicked the monster, launching it away. Not giving a chance for monster, he raised his weapon above, it started to cover in grey-ish fire. The next scene remained in his memory forever. Katana suddenly started to lengthen fast. Metal began to deform like rubber, and the man unleashed his attack. At blinding speed the man started to cut the monster to pieces. The monster didn't last for long and started to burn and finally vanishing. The man exhaled and put his katana in the sheath. Meanwhile Izuku was astonished, millions of questions started to fill his head. Main 2 were "Who is this man?" and "How did he do that?". But all questions faded into the background, when he saw lifeless bodies of his parents. He quickly approached their higher bodies, shaking them.
"Mama, Papa! Wake up!" Izuku whispered, trying to wake his parents up. He was greeted by silence.
"They are gone." Izuku heard the voice from behind. He looked on his saviour, the man had sad look in his eyes. "I'm sorry that i didn't come sooner..."
Izuku looked at his parents with disbelief. They weren't dead, right? Just asleep, right?? The consequences of the day finally caught up, and Izuku collapsed. The man caught him right before he could hit the ground. Every other word the man said weren't heard.
Chapter 2: Into the world of curses!
Summary:
Like the title says, Izuku is introduced to the world of curses.
Chapter Text
One day later after the incident. Local hospital.
The sun was shining through the windows. It's been a day after the incident and fortunantly, only a few were lost that day. But isn't the case. In a distant ward, a little boy was sitting on his hospital bed. Izuku blankly watched as the sun washes everything with its light, fortunantly for him, he only got back injury and mild suffocation. Everything turned upside down for him after that day. His parents were killed, he watched them and other people die, and it was really heavy to bear, especially for a 4 year old child. He was sitting like that for a few minutes when he heard some distant conversation.
"... and that boy has got off easy with that. I don't know what caused these injuries, but it could've done more harm if you didn't get there right in time." sounded a female voice.
"Okay, thats good." answered a familiar male voice "May i see him, doc?"
"Of course Irogane-san, he is right here." doctor answered.
The door suddenly opened, and two people walked in. Izuku almost instantly remembered the man, and the lady was his responsible doctor.
"When he will be ready to go, doc?" asked Irogane.
"I will give him a few more days to heal his back, his suffocation has already passed. Maximum three days." answered doctor.
Irogane nodded and asked the doctor to leave, what she immediatly did. Then he sat beside Izuku's bed and looked directly into his eyes.
"Maybe not the best question to ask but... How're ya doing pal?" said Irogane, giving Izuku his best kind smile (and failed miserably).
"I don't know..." Izuku said quietly, but then asked his own questions. "How are my mom and dad? How are other people? Are they still asleep?"
The man put on a repentant expression. "I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, kid... But they are gone."
Izuku's eyes completely dimmed. With silent "Oh..." he stared at his knees. Tears began to form in corner of his eyes. He was snapped out of it with a shoulder pat. Izuku looked back on the man, Irogane was offering him a hug.
"Come here kiddo, let it all out." calmly said Irogane, and Izuku hugged him with all his force. Little streams of tears started to become bigger. They were sitting like that for a few minutes, when Irogane asked.
"Hey, would you like to go to their funeral?" Izuku got out of a hug and awkwardly looked at the man.
"*Sniff* What's a funeral?" despite his situation, Izuku alway was a curious child.
"Well... Funeral is an event, when people that where very close to each other say their last goodbyes to their gone relatives. Its like you will see your parents off to another world." Answered Irogane, patiently explaining everything.
"Okay... I want to go there." said Izuku while wiping his tears. But then he seen a flashback of that monster. He looked at the man with renewed curiosity. "What was that monster that attacked us yesterday? And what is your name?"
"My name is Irogane Ishi, pleasure to meet you. And answering you first question, that, my lil' buddy, was a curse." answere Irogane, pouring some tea from his thermos and offering it to Izuku. Little boy thanked him and to a little sip, while Irogane explained further. "Curses, or cursed spirits, if you prefer to call it like that, are created when the cursed energy leaks from other humans as a result of their harboring of negative emotions. Cursed energy thus gathers in one spot, building up like sediment until a cursed spirit takes form. They often appear in crowded places, like hospitals, schools or supermarkets. First encounter with them is never easy-"
"But this isn't the first time i've seen them." Interupted Izuku, finishing off his tea. Irogane choked in surprise, his wide-opened eyes where now staring at the boy.
"W-what do you mean by that?" asked Irogane. He was intrigued. " Sinse when?"
"W-well... First time i've seen these things when i was 2, it was under my bed. It was scary!" answered Izuku, a shudder ran through his body from that memory. "And since then i've seen them everywhere when me and my mom and dad went to kindergarten."
"Fascinating..." Irogane whispered to himself, rubbing his jaw, and then raised his hand. It glowed with grey fire. "Do you see anything on my hand?"
Izuku was left speechless, just in front of him arm of his saviour caught on fire! He started to panic.
"Irogane-san! Your hand is on fire! Oh god, oh god, i must do something or-" Izuku was quickly dragged out of his panic when Irogane lightly slapped on the back of his head.
"Relax! What you've seen here was raw cursed energy." Izuku looked at him blankly, repeating words "Cursed energy". Irogane started explaining. "Cursed energy is a special power that I, and bunch of other people use to fight off curses. Curses have istinctive understanding of cursed energy, so they use it in their attacks. But we, humans, must learn how to control it. We, sorceres, use our negative emotions to use cursed energy."
"Wo-ow! So that means the thing you did to send that monster packing was cursed energy!" Gasped Izuku in amazement. His curiosity reached its peak. "Do you need some special rite to use it? Can you use it in other kind of ways? How can i use it? Is it hard to learn?"
"Geez louise kid! Don't forget to breathe!" Said Irogane, trying to hold his laugh. I'll explain it to you soon enough..."
They were talking for a while, and then Irogane gone. Despite everything that happened, Izuku enjoyed his day.
3 days later, after the funeral.
"Irogane-san..." Izuku cught the man's attention "I'm curious, you don't know my parents... Why did you attend to their funeral?"
"Well... It's just a habit that im struggling to beat." answered Irogane. He attended to many funerals after every curse attacks. "But it's not important right now. What's important is where should you go? I don't think you have any relatives left..."
"Can't i just come with you?" Innocently asked Izuku. Irogane was taken aback.
"Wait ,wait! I don't mind any company, but why would you wan't to go with me? Im a stranger, didn't your parents tell you to not go anywhere with strangers?" Ironage answered, shaking his hands and head.
"Well... You're the only one i trust right now." said Izuku. Something in his eyes ignited. "And besides, i want you to teach me how use my powers! I don't want let curses hurt more people!"
Old sorcerer was left speechless. In the eyes of this 4 year old, he saw something too similiar to him. He groaned and put his hand on his face.
"Listen, little guy, the job i'm doing is very dangerous. A lot of sorcerers and normal people die from curses. If you're willing to be a sorcerer, you have to work hard, untill your arms bleed and untill you can't sweat anymore, and always risk your life without any approval. And after all, even the strongest sorcerers can't save all people, you will be surrounded by the smell of blood and death... Do you still want to become a sorcerer?" Lectured Irogane. He has been through a lot to say these things. But he saw fire in Izuku's eyes grow stronger.
"I don't care! If it means that kids like me won't lose their parents, i'm willing to take that risk!" answered Izuku, ready for everything."And i really want to make these monsters to pay..." goes silent. Irogane looked at Izuku for a while, and then answered.
"Okay... If you really want this... FINE!" Irogane turned towards Izuku, pointing his finger at him. "If you're willing to take on this thorny path, surrounded by death, i shall guide you untill you're ready! Tell me, Izuku Midoriya, are you ready to become my apprentice and make this world safer for those who can't protect themselves from these cursed creatures?! To soak your hands in blood so other won't have to?!"
"YES!" immediatly answered Izuku, clenching his fists. "I AM!"
"OKAY!" yelled out Irogane, calling the taxi on his phone. "Then you shall pack your things. After that, you will live with me. Lets see how far you will get..!"

Chapter Text
Hamamatsu City outskirts, Shizuoka Prefecture. 7 pm.
“Welcome to my little nest, you will live here from now on.” said Irogane, while carrying bags that contained all Izuku’s belongings.
Izuku looked at his new home with trepidation. There was a big house in front of him, much bigger than his old house. It was built in modern style; big windows reflected the light of setting sun. The house had 3 floors, big garden in front of it, and a giant backyard.
“What are you waiting for?” asked Irogane while pushing Izuku towards his house. “I know my home is good, but you need to rest instead of staring at it. Tomorrow we will start your training.”
“I’m sorry, it’s just your house is so big!” replied Izuku, blushing awkwardly.
Irogane let out a little giggle and guided little boy into his house. The man opened the door and Izuku gasped in amazement. First thing that caught his eye is a big aquarium, surrounded by stairs that led upwards. On the sides were seen big closets, supposedly for coats and shoes. Two doors were near the stairs, one on the left, one on the right. On the floor was big colorful carpet.
“Now take off your shoes, i will show you around before showing your room.” said Irogane, placing his katana on the holder. Izuku took off his shoes and followed the man while hopping excitedly. Irogane showed him around, on the first floor (left door from lobby) there was a big living room with comfy sofa, dining table and big TV. Under the TV were old DVD player and newly bought Xbox 360. It also had big fluffy carpet. Kitchen was fenced off the living room by a bar counter. Kitchen wasn’t that big, but bigger than any average kitchens. It had a fridge, a washing machine, sink, lots of spices and cupboards. There also was an exit to the backyard in the living room. Second floor was all guest rooms. One of them will belong to Izuku. Irogane opened the first room near the stairs.
“Your room is here.” said Irogane. The room was empty in decorations, it had a big window, bed in the corner, closet and working table with a lamp. Beside the bed was a nightstand with another lamp. At the foot of the bed was a door. “This room also has a built-in restroom, make yourself comfy because... Your normal life will cease to exist from tomorrow.”
Izuku immediately jumped on his bed. It was so soft and comfy! He couldn’t resist and quickly fell asleep...
..ZZZ..
..ZZZ..
*BANG BANG!*
“WAKE UP KID! EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM!” suddenly shouted a voice behind the door, immediately waking Izuku up. Little boy was so startled that he fell off his bed.
“Ow...” groaned Izuku, rubbing his shoulders. More loud bangs were heard at the door.
“C’mon, kid!” said Irogane, opening the door. “It’s already 6 AM! You’re already an hour late for your morning exercise! Next time you should be awake at 5 AM!”
Still disorientated Izuku finally woke up and looked at his new mentor angrily.
“Isn’t it too early for-” Started Izuku, but his mouth was forcibly shut.
“It’s never too early to start your preparations! Now go wash yourself, breakfast is on the table in the living room. When you’re finished, meet me at the backyard.” interrupted Irogane, heading to his backyard. “I said that your training won’t be easy, you signed up for this. Don’t complain, now chop chop!”
Izuku stared at his mentor’s back, but then shook his head and tightened his fists. Irogane was right, this path isn’t easy, but he will overcome anything the world will offer him. He was sure he will...
2 years later... (i don’t regret putting time skip here.)
2 years of hell has passed. In the first day of Izuku’s training Irogane said that he isn’t ready to control his cursed energy yet. They focused on his physical trainings (pushups, sits, squads etc.) and learning. Irogane signed all his documents to make Izuku his ward. The old sorcerer also taught Izuku some basic knowledge so he could keep up with his peers. For a little kid, Izuku consumed every ounce of knowledge like sponge.
*(If you’re curious, their training schedule is:
Monday: Stamina training.
Tuesday: Strength training.
Wednesday: basic school lectures (will be replaced by cursed energy learning)
Thursday: Agility training.
Friday: Martial arts training.
Saturday: weekend.
Sunday: sparring day.
Izuku is homeschooled btw.)*
Today was Sunday, a sparring day as Irogane called it. Every Sunday he’s sparring with Izuku to test everything he learned and to see what he needs to do next. This Sunday was no different from others, Irogane kicked Izuku into oblivion, and it threatened to be the same as always, but something happened. Izuku was really pissed, why won’t he land a proper hit every time they fight? He knew that he was just six years old fighting against grown, experienced man but... He just wants to hit him just once! All this stress from his 2 years of training started to get to his brain. Izuku then launched himself towards Irogane, losing his patience. Old sorcerer was ready to redirect Izuku’s hit, but he was surprised. Izuku didn’t notice, but his arm was glowing in red fire faintly. Irogane looked at it for a while and let out shitty grin.
Izuku appeared in front of his mentor, Irogane decided to catch boy’s hand instead of parrying. Finally, Izuku’s fist landed in Irogane’s opened palm, loud clapping noise emerged and little fire was blown away. Little boy was speechless, his mentor never caught his hand like that. Then he heard a loud laugh, it left him even more confused.
“Brilliant! Truly excellent!” happily said Irogane while clapping his hands. “You subconsciously used your cursed energy at such young age! I’m speechless!”
Izuku was left speechless, he quickly looked at his hand, trying his best to summon something... But nothing happened.
“But... How I did that? I don’t know how to use cursed energy!” answered Izuku, rubbing his hand.
“Do you remember what I told you about cursed energy, kid?” asked Irogane, Izuku nodded in agreement, old sorcerer raised his index finger and repeated his lecture. “Cursed energy is the energy that comes from our negative emotions. The pint is you need to visualize your energy, it might be everything. Most sorcerers visualize it as a flowing river, they direct its flow, control its intensity and manipulate it as needed. You just need to visualize it as something, so you can control it.”
“It means that I have to see my cursed energy to use it... I can see my cursed energy as anything I want...” mumbled Izuku, his brain began to work. After some time of thinking a light bulb ignited above his head. “I think i got it!”
“Really? That fast?” Surprisingly asked Irogane, every day this kid surprised him more and more. “Then what’s cursed energy to you?”
“For me... I’m an electrical network!” enthusiastically answered Izuku. There was an awkward silence, Irogane blankly looked at his apprentice.
“...eh?” he asked, putting on stupid expression.
“Let me explain! So, the cursed energy comes from our negative emotions, like powerplant that provides us electricity. My brain is a powerplant for this energy, and my blood vessels are like powerlines! They will channel my cursed energy around my body! Lemme try...” Excitedly explained Izuku.
Then he closed his eyes and visualized a lever, a giant powerplant behind and multiple wires under him. He started to remember every bad memory he had. That was like he was pushing the lever, and suddenly he felt slight tingling throughout his body. He felt a bit stronger, like he could lift a big boulder with ease. He opened his eyes and froze in awe. His whole body was surrounded by faint azure green fire. But it didn’t last for long, this aura disappeared as fast as it appeared. He was almost upset, but then he felt head pats.
“You’re growing by leaps and bounds, kid! I’m really proud, I learned how to use my cursed energy at the age of fourteen! But you lack control of this energy...” praised Irogane, while rubbing his jaw. “No more sparrings today, you did great job. The next Wednesday you will learn how to control your cursed energy. But let’s not talk about it for now. Let’s go to the city, buy some ice cream and go play at the arcade!”
Izuku’s eyes ignited with joy and excitement. Every time they don’t train or he improves in something, Irogane takes him to various places. Sometimes he even tells him stories about his past. Irogane offered Izuku an arm, little boy grabbed it and they went to sorcerers’ car.
“Irogane-san...” started Izuku while he fastens his seat belt. But he was interrupted.
“Bah! Stop calling me like that! I feel old. Just call me Ishi, or unc if you want.” groaned Irogane while starting his car. Izuku was surprised for sure, but he snapped out of it fast. He happily nodded.
“Okay unc! Now lets get some ice cream! And tell me more of your stories!” replied Izuku, lifting his fist in the air. Irogane laughed at his enthusiasm. They started moving in the city’s direction.
“Ha-ha-ha! Okay okay... Where did we stop..? Ah, once I've been a mission in China, they had some cases of disappearances in Beijing, no traces of victims nor kidnappers...”

Chapter Text
The same day later.
"Okay, lets talk about your cursed energy controll." said Irogane while drinking his coffee, he and Izuku are sitting on the bench in the local park, lazing around.
"What do i have to do?" seriously asked Izuku, finishing his ice cream. Even tho he knows how to summon this energy, he is yet to learn how to controll it.
"First step is to learn to controll your negative emotions. Cursed energy is produced by emotions like anger, sadness, fear, hate and etc. You will learn to controll them at will." explained Ishi, throwing empty coffee cup int a trash can. "But not for now, we will go home and get some rest, tommorow we'll start."
With that being said, duet of master and apprentice went home.
Tomorrow.
"First step in controlling your emotions is to aknowledge them as a source of power. Suppressing them won't do anything." said Irogane, while holding a doll. " And this little thing will help you in this."
"Umm... Excuse me, but what is this thing?" asked Izuku, taking this doll.
"This is specially designed cursed corpse, i got it from a friend of mine. You will have to pour a stable flow of cursed energy in this doll, pour too much or too little, and you will get the smack!" answered Irogane, while getting some DVD's. And just right on cue, the doll in Izuku's hand came to life and smacked little boy in the face!
"OW!" Izuku screamed in pain and thrown the doll across the room. The doll quickly recovered and took a boxing stance. "What was that for?!"
"I said to pour a stable flow into that thing." said Irogane, placing DVD's on the table. "As for your training, you will learn how to use cursed energy despite the strength of your emotions by watching these shitty series and cringy anime every time you're not asleep. From low budget comedy to straight up unbearable romantic shows. If you will survive one whole season of one of those, we will move on to the next steps."
Izuku looked at the DVD's, he had a premonition that it will be more hellish than all his training combined. But he had no choice, Ishi turned on the first show and Izuku started watching...
Month of punching later. (August 21st, 2007.)
Finally... This hell has ended. Izuku watched the whole "Bullies & Nerds" show... Without getting punched! It was like a mountain slipped from his shoulders.
"God dang it was cringe..." groaned Irogane, he was as exhausted emotionally as Izuku. "But congratulations, kid! You finally learned to controll your energy flow! But its not over yet."
As quickly as Izuku felt joy, it dissapeared. There was more series?!
"What's with that look kid? You won't watch these series again i swear!" said Irogane, waving his hands in capitulation sign. "Instead we will go somewhere... More interesting... We are going on a patrol!"
"Patrol? Does that mean we will go seek for curses?!" excitedly asked Izuku, his body was charged with the new energy. He will finally see how to get rid of these creatures!
"That's right kid! And you will fight them!" happily said Ishi. This made Izuku choke on air. "Don't worry, i will seek for the weakest so you'd have a chance. Now, we have no time to waste! Lets go go go!"
Even though Izuku was surprised, he fastly prepared himself. Izuku put on grey windbreaker and his favoured red shoes. Shortly after Irogane showed up, dresed in his kimono and holding his ol' reliable katana. Then they left and headed towards the city.
Hamamamtsu city.
Izuku was walking beside Irogane, looking around for curses. They just arrived, but they already senced weak echoes of cursed energy floating in the air. While they were walking, Ishi explained Izuku the grade system. Ishi himself was a second grade sorcerer. They walked for several minutes and finally found something. In the alley on the right, there was a little creature, it looked like toad, with four arms and no legs. It had some human features, like nose and eyes, and bug-like mouth.
"This one looks weak enough..." mumbled Ishi, then he turned to Izuku. "See that curse? Go banish it."
Izuku nodded and started walking toward the curse. Spirit noticed him and with strange sounds lunged towards Izuku. Izuku didn't lose his head and sprinted towards the curse, his arms where covered in bright azure-green flames. Second has passed, and Izuku punched the spirit in its ugly face, purple blood spilled around. Spirit flew right into the wall and stopped moving, his body started to turn to dust. Moments later there was nothing. When the spirit disappeared, Izuku felt strange feeling, like something pulling him towards the energy this spirit unleashed after its death. But whe was snapped out of it when he heard clapping noise.
"Good job Izuku! Congratulations on you first banished spirit... Even tho it was very weak." said Ishi, clapping his hands. "Lets go seek for other curses now."
Izuku nodded and they continued their path. Several times they met curses, some very weak, some not so weak. Izuku struggled with them, but banished them anyway, Irogane didn't dare to help him. Sun began to settle and our duo was ready to go home, but Ishi and Izuku felt something behind. They turned around and saw a floating fish-like curse with big nose and hands on forehead.
" Seek for shelter Izuku, this one looks tough for you." said Irogane calmly, Izuku quickly hid behind their car. "Now watch the master at work!"
With that being said, Ishi lugned towards the cursed spirit at blinding speed. The spirit attacked with a jet of water. Mist was forming around that jet, meaning it was boiling. Ishi deftly dodget this attack and positioned his katana in a piercing motion. Suddenly, katana glowed with grey fire and extended at the spirit, reaching it in no time and piercing it through. Izuku watched in amazement.
"And do finish it off!" almost yelled Ishi, pouring his cursed energy in a specific way. As if that wasn't enough to kill that spirit, metallic spikes emerged from many sides, killing it instantly. Ishi put his katana away and walked to his car. Izuku stood infront of him, jumping on one place.
"Wow! That was so cool! How did you do that?! Your katana made of some special metal?! How did it grow up like that?! How-" Izuku exhaled all these questions. You can see them crashing into Ishi's body.
"Calm down kid! I will explaing on the way home. Now get in!" said Ishi, starting his car. Izuku quickly got in ant they set off. While they were riding, Ishi started explaining. "What you've seen there was my cursed technique. Im not good at naming things, so i named it metal manipulation. I can manipulate any kind of metal like i want in 10 meter radius. Cursed techniques are abilities fueled by cursed energy. Different types include innate techniques, barrier techniques, shikigami, new shadow style, and more. Lets say, you see your curse energy as electricity, meaning that cursed technique will be like electrical appliance to you. Most of the techniques are already built-in into your body, so you can't really do with your cursed energy everything you want..."
Izuku was satisfied by that answer and started asking many questions. But one question really stuck in his head. It was "what my cursed technique will be?"
"I don't know for sure, it's for you to find out." answered Ishi and continued explaining. "There also exists reversed curse technique, its too hard for your little brain for now... And peak of jujutsu sorcery - Domain expansion."
This one intrigued Izuku very much.
"What is a domain expansion?" asked Izuku.
"Its a very hard technique to learn. You see, when a sorcerer fully masters their cursed technique, has immense control of cursed energy and the ability to impose their will on reality within a specific space, they begin to learn this technique. Its a closed territory, where reality is controlled by the one who casted domain, the caster applies his own rules to their domain, and every attack in there is a sure hit. I don't really know how to learn it, i don't possess the ability to do so. But im sure you will get there some day!"
Izuku was fascinated. He has so much to learn, and this curiosity drives him further. From this day, Izuku promised to himself to become stronger, master all these techniques and help other people to avoid everything he experienced in the past. After their first patrol passed one year. With all the things on schedule it was decided that Ishi will homeschool Izuku. They were patrolling every day, Izuku grew stronger. Right now he was somewhere near the center of 4th grade sorcerers in strength. But the one thing that was worrying Izuku is strange craving for cursed energy that curses release when dying. But little did he know it was something bigger than just carving... Like that, one day, this happened.
"You're growing very fast Izuku, if you will continue like that, i won't have anything to teach you left!" said Ishi while giggling. Izuku shook his head in amusement. He is now 7 years old, he was little higher than his peers, somewhere around 130 cm. He was wearing his favourite grey windbreakir, baggy jeans and red shoes.
"It's all thanks to you unc! If you didn't push me like that, i would've been much weaker!" answered Izuku, smiling radiantly. Their little conversation was interrupted by a cursed spirit. It looked like spider, except it had human legs for spider legs and a mouth on its belly.
"Wanna take the honours?" asked Ishi cheerfully, Izuku nodded and walked towards the curse. One year of fighting curses really built his fighting spirit.
Izuku lunged at the spirit, not giving it a second to react. He became stronger after this year, his max speed now was 20 km/h, and his punches could leave cracks on brick wall. Izuku kicked the spirit, it was launched far away, but it recovered and counter-attacked. Izuku dodged first two attacks and punched it into its head. Curse groaned in pain, but it endured the hit. While Izuku was fighting, he felt these carves again. They were stronger than ever, he knew it has something to do with his cursed energy! So he wanted to do an experiment. Izuku grabbed hold of that feeling and punched the spirit... But it didn't do anything. Izuku frowned, he was sure it was supposed to do something... Then a light bulb ignited again. The curse attacked, but Izuku stood his ground. Holding to that felling again, Izuku placed his open palm on the curse this time. The next event shocked both Izuku and Ishi. Izuku's palm glowed blue and lines of azure-green energy surrounded the curse. Cursed spirit made noises of pain, as its physical shell started spinning like a whirlpool and being sucked into Izuku's palm. Little sorcerer felt like something started filling inside of him, like electricity charging some kind of accumulator. This event was short, 2 seconds passed and the cursed spirit ceased to exist. After moments of silence, Ishi spoke.
"What did you do right now, kid?" he asked in awe, Ishi never seen something as beautiful as what Izuku did.
"I-i don't know i..." then Izuku finally figured it out. "Cursed technique..! I just used my cursed technique!"
"I can clearly see that... Congratulations!" said Ishi, laughing and applausing. "We must find other things you can do! Lets go!"
Izuku nodded and ran after his mentor. He started analyzing what he did. First of all, he took all cursed energy from that curse. This energy then was somehow stored inside of him. Stored... If something was stored, it can be taken out or consumed... Izuku has a crazy idea.
"Hey unc, can i test something? I need your help." asked Izuku, Ishi raised his eyebrow.
"Sure, why not?" answered Ishi. "What so you need me to do?"
"Hold my hand." said Izuku, Ishi did it and Izuku closed his eyes. He imagined how his cursed energy channels connect to his mentors' channels, like plug into socket. Then he imagined that his wire was connected to his accumulator, instead of feeling like he need to pull, he imagined pushing energy in that accumulator out, into his Mentors, channels.
Meanwhile Ishi felt some strange energy coming inside of his body. But he felt pleased, like relaxing in a warm bath. Then he felt surge of strength, he can swear he felt more metal around him.
"What did you do now kid?" curiously asked Ishi, letting go of Izuku. "I somehow feel stronger than usual, a can see more and smell something i can't..."
"I-i gave you that cursed energy i've got from cursed spirit." answered Izuku, he was surprised his crazy idea worked. "Looks like my cursed technique allows me to manipulate cursed energy in a specific way. I can take cursed energy from curses, maybe even from other sorcerers, store it inside, maybe using it for myself... And give it to others!"
"Well... This is one hell of a technique. I've never seen something like that in my entire life... You really are special kid." said Ishi, petting Izuku's head. "I think its all for today. Lets go get some ice cream and go home."
Izuku agreed and they went back home. Izuku wanted to know everything about his technique and how to use cursed energy in different ways. He had so much to learn!

The next day... (Wednesday)
Izuku was sitting in his room, rubbing his jaw. He was thinking about the ways he can use his technique. At the first glance it was more for support, but he just knew there must be something! He needs to do more tests... But first, it needs a name! Izuku thought about it for a while and decided to name his technique "Cursed Transfer" for now. Then he started with tests. He still had some energy stored, so he tried to consume it. Izuku closed his eyes and imagined how energy from his accumulator goes into his veins. He felt a sudden boost of energy, his sences became sharper. Silently celebrating, he went outside to do some daily routine training. After some time Ishi came out, he was in a good mood today.
"Good morning kid! I see you've finished you exercises" greeted Ishi, sipping coffee.
"Good morning to you too." answered Izuku. He just finished his last lap around and stopped infront of Ishi. "What are we doing today?"
"Its for you to decide." answered Ishi, sitting down on the only bench. "You just created your own cursed technique yesterday, i can see by the look in your eyes that you want to run some tests with it."
"Okay! Can you help me then please?" said Izuku, his eyes ignited from from numerous perspectives.
"Of course! What do i have to do, Mr. professor?" agreed Ishi, bowing playfully.
"First, I want to know if i can take cursed energy from sorcerers. If it's true, i might get some advantages in fights against evil sorcerers... Please, take my hand." Said Izuku, raising his hand. Ishi nodded and took his hand. Izuku then closed his eyes and grabbed that feeling, like he drinks something with a straw. Then they both felt something, Ishi felt like he is getting little dizzy, Izuku felt familiar flow of someone else's energy. But suddenly, single flow of energy split up. One of those flows felt like that time when he stored cursed energy, but another one was very familiar to him. Unknown fact is that after Izuku's cursed technique manifested, he could see colour and shape of someones technique... Second flow began to change colour from blue-ish to grey and transformed into shiny substance, it looked like a drop of mercury. This drop then flew into something that Izuku recognized as his cursed technique. There was two round objects, one was white and one was black, they were spinning around eachother slowly. Shiny drop then flew near the black ball. When it was near, black ball emerged five tentacles of dark energy, then these tentacles pierced shiny drop and started pulsing. For Izuku it was minutes, even if in real world only seconds passed. Izuku then opened his eyes and pulled his arm. Ishi was surprised by Izuku's sudden movements.
"What's wrong, kid?" he asked, standing up from bench.
"U-um... Nothing... " answered Izuku, looking at his hand. "Do you feel weird?"
"Me? No, if dizziness doesn't count." said Ishi. "Is something wrong?"
"I don't think that anything's wrong but..." Izuku rubbed his jaw. What he felt wasn't just an ordinary cursed energy consumption. Then he looked at weights that were laying near the shed. "Actually, let me test something..."
Izuku lifted weights, they were not so heavy, but most importantly, metallic. Izuku then concentrated on this metallic drop that was held by his technique. He saw countless times how Ishi does it, so he repeated. The next thing left them speechless. Weights glowed in azure-green flames with shades of grey. Next thing that happened is the weights deformed and became just ingots. Ishi's jaw dropped, Izuku was the same, but he continued on making other figures out of metal. At the start it was easy, but the more he used metal manipulation, the more difficult it became to manipulate these weights. All this time Izuku was looking at his technique. He noticed that once big drop of shiny metal now became very small and was fading, untill it completely vanished. Izuku finally paid attention to the surrounding world.
"Yo-you just use my cursed technique..." mumbled Ishi in awe. He didn't expect it. "How did you..?"
"I-i don't know..." Answered Izuku "But this might come in handy. I can copy cursed techniques... But i don't think i would do that if i didn't know basics of your technique."
Like Izuku said, he can't copy someones cursed technique without basic knowledge of it. And when he copies it, he has limited amount of cursed energy to use copied technique. He can copy only one technique at a time.
The same evening.
Izuku was sitting in his room, looking at his notebook that was named "Interesting cursed techniques." He wrote every cursed technique he finds interesting (basically every technique). But he only wrote his and Ishi's techniques. Right now he was wrighting about technique called "10 shadows." He firstly knew about it from one of Ishi's stories. Ishi was on a mission in Tokyo, investigating murder in cinema. His partner was member of Zenin clan who possessed this technique.
"The Ten Shadows Technique is an inherited technique passed down in the Zenin Clan. Using shadows as an intermediary, this technique allows the user to summon ten different shikigami. When the user inherits this techniques, they recieve two starting shikigami called divine dogs. They are first shikigami that user can use. User can summon other shikigami, starting a ritual in wich they must defeat summoned shikigami to use it. The summoning ritual for the shikigami can be performed around multiple people. However, exorcising the shikigami with help nullifies the technique's effect once the exorcism is completed. Sikigami can be summoned through shadowgraphic hand signs that create a shadow puppet of the respective familiar. List of shikigami i found: Divine dogs, Nue, Toad and rabbit escape. If controlled shikigami dies, the user can't use it anymore. I tried it, but nothing happened... Maybe when they learn this technique their cursed energy flow differs from the way i use mine..."
Izuku put his notebook aside. 10 shadows was very interesting for him, he, one might say, dissected this technique. When he wanted to seek something on his phone, the door suddenly opened. Izuku looked there and found Ishi, he had tense expression.
"Get up, we're going on a mission." said Ishi, Izuku was surprised by this unexpected mission.
"What's the mission? Where are we going?" asked Izuku, preparing as fast as he could.
"There's a rogue causing chaos in city. He placed a veil, so civilians can't escape. We are the nearest who can stop him. I will fight him, you will keep innocent people safe, don't engage a fight if not necessary, you got it?" explained Ishi, running to his car with Izuku right behind.
Izuku nodded, his eyes became serious. This event reminded him of that day, so he will do everything in his power to keep these people safe. Some time later they already were near the scene of the incident. A giant dark barrier was covering part of the city. They quickly entered in and drove to the sounds of shattering glass. When they arrived, they seen people running from an army of white rabbits, Izuku instantly recognized them.
"Unc, we are fighting against a Zenin clan sorcerer!" yelled Izuku, going out of the car.
"Yeah, i noticed." wispered Ishi, slicing every rabbit at blinding speed. Not even a second has passed when they noticed a man standing on the car. He was holding his hands in a specific sign that was looking like rabbit. He glanced at our due and grinned maniacally.
"How great! More toys to play with!" he shouted, he clearly was insane. "Come here! I want to see your head ripped from you shoulders! Nue!"
He made a sign that looked like a bird. His shadow boiled and a giant bird emerged. It has orange plumage, some sor of mask, no beak and had violate lightnings sparkling all over its body. Nue screeched and lunged towards our duo. Ishi raised his hand, road signs near him floated and in a matter of seconds tied nue up. Not giving the enemy to react, Ishi sprinted towards him, preparing his katana. But he was interrupted by a pale snake that emerged under the the enemy. It hissed and bit Ishi's weapon. Then it launched him in the nearest building. Psycho grinned, but it didn't last long. Izuku appeared behind him and succesfully landed a hit in his temple. The man was caught off guard, but quickly recovered. He summoned divine dogs. They growled and ran towards Izuku. He was ready to attack them, but Ishi appeared, slicing these dogs in half.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, kid?!" yelled Ishi, smacking Izuku in his forehead. "I said to not fight if not necessary!"
"But if he keep doing this, everyone will get hurt! Civilians are in a safe spot, so i will help you!" answered Izuku while rubbing his forehead. Determination was burning in his eyes. Ishi facepalmed and turned towards the enemy.
"We will talk about it at home, kid-" started Ishi, but was interrupted byt a water stream. While they were talking, Zenin psycho summoned a giant elephant, it was firing water out of its trunk.
"You've already forgot about me?! Im getting sad becuse of it." he yelled, psycho wanted to summon even more rabbits, but he couldn't because of a dropkick, fueled by cursed energy, that Izuku landed in his stomach. Then Ishi standed in front of his flight path. The psycho landed in Ishi's open arms, then he grapped him and performed german suplex. Elephant noticed that his master was in danger and wanted to launch a water stream, but Izuku landed on it from top. The boy could feel massive cursed energy flows inside of this elephant, he placed his palm on it. Then the whole elephant was covered in azure-green energy and like that curse, it was sucked inside Izuku. Giant amount of energy flowed inside Izuku's storage, some of it was immediately used to enhance Izuku's body. Meanwhile Ishi saw hat his apprentice did and a light bulb ignited above his head. He transformed his katana into a whip and tied criminal tight.
"Oi kid! Get your ass here and take every single bit of energy from this sucker!" yelled Ishi, bringing psycho to his knees and standing on his back.
Izuku didn't waste any time and launched himself towards the rogue. Then he placed his palm on psycho's head, azure-green energy covered the man. Only one thought was in Izuku's head at that moment, it was: "If i won't do this, he might harm even more people... I need to take every ounce of energy he has!"
He felt a familiar sence of cursed energy flowing through his veins. But this time, all this energy went in direction of the black object. In the next moments this black hole didnt summon any tentacles... It started consuming this energy that looked like black goo. It finished consuming the energy in a short amount of time and refused to take any more other energy. Izuku felt something... Like he placed an object somewhere on a little shelf, right where it belongs.
Meanwhile the criminal felt like something just left a hole in his soul, but he didn't care about it for now. Giant snake attacked Ishi, the old sorcerer let go of the criminal and raised katana in defencive position. But he didn't expect the snake to melt into some black goo. The black veil that was covering them started to fade. Criminal fastly ran away from them at some distance.
"I will admit, you've caused me some troublse..." he said, standing on one knee "But this will surely finish you off, if i can't!"
He raised his hands and clenched them into fists, expecting to summon something... But he didnt feel anything. His eyes opened wide, then he tried to reach to his technique, but he only felt emptiness. When he looked at the duo, his eyes paid attention to a green haired boy. He raised his hands and made a sign that represents a wolf. Suddenly, to the criminal's and Ishi's surprise, Izuku's shadow started to boil.
"Divine dogs!" Izuku whispered and two dogs emerged from his shadow, one was black and one was white. They growled and lunged towards the instigator. Izuku's vision was fading, he was very tired. Dogs quickly reached the man and bit him, one on the shoulder and another in the neck. But Izuku didn't see the rest, he collapsed and lost his consciousness...

Chapter Text
January 18th. 2016. Iwata city.
8 years has passed since Izuku found out true nature of his cursed technique. After the Zenin psycho incident, Izuku woke up in his room, Ishi gave him a long lecture about how he should respect orders that were given to him. After that, his life returned to its usual routine, they were patrolling many cities, seeking for cursed spirits. Izuku learned that his cursed technique can store nearly infinite amount of cursed energy. He also learned that he can increase capacity of his original cursed energy core. He just had to consume stored cursed energy beyond his current limit, thereby he can use more cursed energy to enhance his body. He didn't forget about 10 shadows technique he got, he learned more about shikigami he can summon: 1)Divine dogs 2)Nue 3)Toad 4)Rabbit escape 5)Great serphent 6)Round deer 7)Max elephant 8)Piercing ox 9)Tiger funeral 10)Currently unknown. He succesfully taimed only five of them, Max elephant is his next target. Interesting he learned from these rituals is that every shikigami he was taming were aware of his original cursed technique, so they were trying to keep their distance or don't let him use his hands. Izuku learned that even tho shikigami were originally created out of his cursed energy, this energy was independent, therefore making them like any other cursed spirit.
Beside that, in most patrols, Izuku was the one who was fighting, Ishi was watching him. Ishi told him how to create veils. Izuku's current position in strenght is somewhere around semi-first grade, even tho he wasn't officially graded, Ishi meanwhile was first grade. Right now Izuku was walking with Ishi, seeking for any curses, peripherally consuming curses that were sitting on other people. They were walking like that for hours, killing curses that might cause trouble for common people, the sun started to settle. They wanted to call it a day, when they felt strong energy pressure coming from an abandoned building site. Izuku could tell that strong cursed spirit was hiding there. Ishi looked there, little beads of sweat ran down his forehead, he could tell that spirit that was hiding there wasn't ordinary one... But his job as a sorcerer was to keep people safe from these creatures, and he couldn't just walk away from here.
"Hey kid... Wanna check that site?" Ishi asked, preparing his katana.
"If we wont exorcise the thing that hides there, people will be hurt, of course i wanna check it." said Izuku. He is now 15 years old, 183 cm tall. He is wearing insulated dark-greay hoodie, winter black trousers and warm boots. All these years of fighting cursed spirits has made his personality flip. He has grown from a happy child to a serious looking young man. His eyes went sharper, his baby fat is gone, his expression became more gloomy. Izuku distributed his cursed energy throughout the body, enhancing his body. With a nod, Izuku and Ishi entered the site.
They were walking in an abandoned building for some time, seeking out for anything that releases this large amount of cursed energy. Izuku summoned Divine dogs so they could watch their back. Young sorcerer could feel the source from the last floor of the building thanks to his technique. They went to the last floor, ready to fight when they found... A little locker. Izuku raised his eyebrow and slowly approeached that locker, energy pressure became stronger. Then he opened the locker and found a little box. He took this box, looking at it from every angle.
"What is this..?" Izuku asked himself, staring at the box. He had a bad feeling about it.
"What did you find k-" Asked Ishi, but next words just stuck in his throat. He knew what is this. "Kid... I suggest you to... place it where it was and get out of here."
"What? What's wrong?" asked Izuku, still looking at the box. Shikigami disappeared. "This box has something scary in it?"
"Yes. The thing you're looking at is the most cursed thing you could ever find." Answered Ishi, taking the box from Izuku's hands and placing it back in the locker. "It's Sukuna's finger."
Izuku's eyes opened wide, that explains very high concentration of cursed energy here. Ishi told him about Ryomen Sukuna, the king of curses, and his monstrous activities during heian era.
"Okay... Lets get out the-" agreed Izuku, but the he and Ishi froze in fear. Izuku looked in Ishi's eyes, Ishi looked in Izuku's eyes, and a cursed spirit was standing in between, looking at them both. Izuku and Ishi snapped out of fear and jumped away from the spirit. Izuku looked at it. The spirit was a humaniod, it was high, muscular creature. Instead of legs it had horse's hind limbs, it had 4 bird feet instead of arms. It had a round mouth, full of razor-like teeth instead of face and a pair of human eyes in its throat. It was laughing like a kid, it loved how these sorcerers jumped away from fear! But then it stopped laughing and immediately appeared in front of them, its arms were glowing in blood-red fire. Our duo barely blocked its attack, they were launched into the wall. The force of the attack was so high that Izuku and Ishi made a hole in the wall. The spirit didn't let them breathe and launched them in the lower floor. Izuku recovered from falling and hit the floor, then he jumped towards the spirit. He raised his fist, it was glowing in intense azure-green fire, and punched the spirit at his full force... But spirit just catched his fist like it was nothing. Suddenly, Ishi appeared behind it and sliced it with his katana.
The spirit easily caught Ishi's weapon, but was surprised when metallic spikes pierced its hand. It was unpleased and started spinning violently. After a few seconds it let go of sorcerers and they were launched in the walls. Izuku screamed in pain, he looked at the spirit. Curse suddenly appeared in front of him and raised its arm, intending to squash Izuku's head. Izuku raised his hands and caught spirit's punch, he could heel his palms breaking. But he didn't retreat and used his technique. Curse felt something sucking his energy, it quickly recognized that the young man was consuming his cursed energy by using his palms. It let out a screech of fear und chopped Izuku's arms by its other arm! Izuku screamed from unbearable pain, his hands started bleeding fast. Spirit wanted to kick him, but was distracted by Ishi, who landed a slice on its back... But the sword just bounsed from its skin, like he was hitting an iron wall. Izuku used this time and stumbling increased the distance, Ishi landed right beside him. Tears flowed involuntarily from his eyes, place where his hands originally were hurts like hell.
"Damn it... We were so unlucky to stumble upon this spirit..." whispered Ishi, his hands were shaking from his unsuccesfull hit. "This must be at least special grade curse."
"Special grade?!" screamed Izuku in disbelief "What are we going to do?"
"We must get out of here." answered Ishi, sharply observing the curse that was laughing at them. "This curse doesn't even consider us a threat!"
Their conversation was interrupted by the spirit's attack again. This time curse was targetting Izuku. Young sorcerer didn't have time to react, but fortunantly, Ishi blocked spirit's attack and counter-attacked. Maybe spirit was toying around, or it was a lucky hit, but Ishi somehow sliced spirits hand off, purple blood flowed out. But curse didn't bother, it punched sorcerers away. They started falling down the stairs. Our duo tried to fight back, but curse was too fast and strong, it always cancelled their attacks. Izuku landed a kick in its torso, but was launched in another wall, he could already see darkness in corners of his eyes, only his cursed energy was holding him from death. He looked at his mentor that was fighting the curse, they were exchanging attacks. Izuku saw how that cursed spirit grown its arm and remembered something what Ishi told him years ago...
Flashback...
"Hey ucn." said Izuku, Ishi distracted from his newspaper and looked at him. "Are there any cursed techniques i can learn besides mine?"
Ishi rubbed his jaw, trying to remember something.
"Actually... There is one very useful technique." he answered, Izuku was all ears. "It is called "Reverse cursed technique.""
"What's that?" asked Izuku.
"You know how curses can regenerate by using their cursed energy, right?" asked ishi, Izuku nodded. "Well, humans can't use cursed energy to heal themselfs. Cursed energy is just unfit to heal injuries because of its negative apect. Reverse cursed technique uses the principle of multiplying a negative by another negative to produce a positive. While cursed energy flows from the gut, the brain directs reverse cursed technique. This positive energy can heal wounds, its speed directly depends on how much cursed energy you multiply. I, personally, can't use it."
Izuku nodded and went to his room to think about that...
Flashback end...
Izuku didn't know why he remembered it, but he wanted to try it now. They are still goners, so why not? He closed his eyes and started to gather his cursed energy. It immediately started to resist. But Izuku didn't give up and used his cursed technique to assist him. Instead of using the black hole, he moved the white hole to the cursed energy. Its immense force began to forcefully push cursed energy into itself. For Izuku it was hours but... Suddenly all azure-green energy he gathered shrunk into a little dot and blew up in bright white light! Izuku immediately opened his eyes, it felt like as if he had found a second wind. His lost arms started to grow again, his broken bones started to grow together. With this new power, Izuku stood up, its been nighttime already and the moon was looking so, so beatiful! As if all colors were brightened.
He reduced the distance between him and curse, and then grabbed his head tight. Curse was caught off guard as it felt familiar feeling of its power being sucked out. It started shaking furiously, trying to get Izuku off, in what he succeeded. Izuku was launched in Ishi, knocking them both off of their feet. Ishi was surprised when he noticed Izuku's arm being okay, but he didn't show it.
"You learned reverse cursed technique? Impressive." Ishi said, kicking a nearby chunk of reinforced concrete into the curse.
"I did, thanks to you and ugh... Thanks to curse." answered Izuku, preparing to summon rabbit escape. "Let's finish that damn beast off."
"I don't think we could handle it..." Ishi said disappointedly. Thousands of rabbits appeared from Izuku's shadow and started kicking the curse. It wasn't damaged, the bunnies started to get on its nerves. "Only special grade sorcerer can kill it, we are just like an ants to it."
Izuku rushed towards the curse and landed a kick powered by his cursed energy while rabbits were distracting the curse. It didn't do anything but make the curse even more angry. It growled and completely ripped Izuku's leg off. Izuku screamed in pain, he couldn't controll his reverse cursed technique very much so his leg was growing slow. Ishi saw it, a bitter feeling settled in his head. He didn't want to see his apprentice, his child to be hurt like that. Slowly, a plan has formed in his head, fire in hi eyes slowly started to fade away.
"Izuku, come over here." called Ishi. Izuku quickly stood beside Ishi. "Listen to me, Izuku."
"What is it unc?" asked Izuku. "You've got a plan?"
"Yes..." answered Ishi, grabbing his by his hood. "You must run away outta here. As fast as you can. I will buy you some time."
Izuku didn't expect it, his thoughts just flipped.
"Wh-what do you mean by that? I can't leave you here–" Izuku started to disagree, but he was interrupted.
"This thing is too strong, even for both of us." seriously said Ishi, tightening his grip. "And remember Izuku. You must continue fighting, no matter what. You've grown so much... I won't let your progress go to waist. And you're the only one i truly care about... Now go!"
With these words, Ishi easily lifted Izuku and thrown him out of the nearest window. Izuku's eyes were wide open, tears began to flow intensively. He couldn't believe what happened right now... Izuku was looking in Ishi's eyes, he was crying too. Everything went slow, while Izuku was falling, Ishi turned around and went deeper into the building, only sounds he could hear are metal hits metal, falling rocks, sounds of broken bones and tearing flesh. And then... he heard nothing but wavy giggles.
Everything went normal and Izuku just realized he was falling from the 10th floor.
"Nue!" shouted Izuku, a familiar electric owl has appeared. Izuku quickly grabbed its feet and Nue carried him to the nearest roof. When they landed, Izuku turned around, looking on the building. He could feel the curse looking at him. Izuku then lifted his hand in front of his right cheek and raised index and middle fingers. Then he started whispering.
"Emerge from darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure..."
After these words a black liquid-looking mass has appeared. It quickly started expanding, eventually covering the whole building. Izuku summoned a curtain to keep that curse away from people, and for other sorcerers to investigate. He glanced at a curtain for the last time and headed back to his home. His head became empty and all he wanted for now is to get some sleep...

Chapter Text
The next day.
Izuku was sitting on the couch, eating some salad. He couldn't think properly during previous night. Only after he woke up the next day his brain caught up with the events of what happened yesterday. Ishi Irogane, his mentor, a person that was like a parent to him, has gone... Izuku shook his head, driving away these thoughts. Ishi said to go on, and he will listen to him. Instead, his thoughts redirected on that cursed spirit. Just seeing its head makes Izuku to punch something. The sound of breaking dish brought him back to reality. He looked on the bowl he broke, fortunately, he already ate his salad. He quickly cleaned up and started thinking about his future actions. First - he must focus on building his strength. He is too weak compared to that cursed spirit, so he must train, train and train again. Second - master his reverse cursed technique, its healing speed is too low for his standarts. And lastly, he must to conquer other remaining shikigami. The last 10th was a joker card to him, so he must prepare. With that being said, Izuku nodded and went outside to do his daily exercise...
Some time later...
Izuku was approaching a closed cinema. Ishi told him that there exists a site for jujutsu sorcerers where he accepts missions. Izuku saw one mission while going outside and decided its a great way of building strength. It was cordoned off with police tape. Behind that tape was standing a man in a business suit. He noticed him and called him, waving his hand.
"You're Izuku Midoriya, i assume?" he asked. He has blonde hair and very tired look in his eyes.
"Yes." answered Izuku, walking towards the man. "Tell me about the mission."
"Straight to the point, i like it." whispered the man and then started explaining about the mission. "There was a report about paranormal activity in this cinema. A group of four has dissappeared while watching a movie. Your mission is to investigate the place, find and save dissappeared civilians and exorcize the spirit thats responsible for it."
Izuku nodded, took the file with photos of victims and headed towards the cinema. The man wished him good luck and placed a curtain. When Izuku entered the cinema, he could see a trial of purple energy, leading him somewhere. He followed the trial, feeling the pressure around him. It wasn't that strong to him tho. He followed the trial for some time, when it led him to the employee's only room. He opened the door and tensed. In the room, centipede-like curse was munching on a woman, three cocoons were hanging from the ceiling. Before the curse could react, Izuku already summoned divine dogs and they sank their fangs into curses' soft flesh. The curse screamed in surprise and pain, but it wasn't all, Izuku appeared on the other side and placed his palm on it. Familiar energy surrounded the curse and it was converted into cursed energy in a matter of second. Shortly after all cocoons started to burn away, opening his gaze to three people. They were unconcious. Izuku lifted them and headed back. When he left, he saw an ambulance, ready to take the victims. Izuku handed them to paramedics and reported to the JJG (Japanese jujutsu government) worker.
"The curse is gone, three people alive and one dead." Izuku said shortly. The worker nodded in approvement.
"Good. Its pleasure to work with you." he said, shaking Izuku's hand. "Your payment will arrive soon."
Izuku nodded and headed back home. He checked his phone and saw a money transfer notifiction. He grinned and continued to go.
A week later.
Izuku took a deep breath, inhaling cold air. He was standing in the middle of the backyard. Today he decided to tame 2 shikigami: Max Elephant and Round deer. Round deer was first in his list. Izuku placed his hands together in a specific way so it would look like a deer. His shadow boiled and started taking form. A few seconds later, a high deer-like shikigami appeared, it was twice as high as Izuku. It hasn't many differences from a normal deer, excep of its height. Izuku learned quite much about it, Round deer can output positive energy from reverse cursed technique. It would be easy if it weren't for its ability to counteract the cursed energy. So he must've used his shikigami. His plan was to make it not able to use reverse cursed technique for a moment. The deer made a battle cry and charged towards Izuku. It was aware of his cursed technique, so it started to emit positive energy aura constantly. Izuku summoned Great serpent, it immediately attacked Round deer. Deer jamped really high, avoiding serpents' attack, but whas attacked by Nue. Nue dug its claws deep into deer and sent electric charge into the deers' body. Deer screamed in pain and Nue launched it into serpents waiting mouth. But deer postioned its hind limbs so they are facing serpent. When it was close, deer kicked serpents mouth. Serpent hissed in pain, but endured and bit the Deer at its full power. Then it launched the deer into nearest tree, breaking it in process.
Deer fastly recovered, using reverse cursed technique to heal its wounds, but then it was fastly attacked by Rabbit escape. Rabbits started kicking the deer from every side, not giving it time to rest, but deer fought back violently, launching hoards of rabbits away. But while it was distracted, Divine dogs sneaked behind it. When the deer opened, dogs bit it in its neck. Deer screamed in pain, aura of positive energy vanished for a moment, it was all Izuku needed. He appeared above Round deer almost instantly and placed his palm on its back. Round deer didn't have time to think and was instantly consumed by Izuku's cursed technique, ending the ritual. Izuku exhaled in relief, Round deer was very tough. But he didn't have time to rest, he immediately made a hand sign that was looking like an elephant. His shadow boiled again and the next shikigami started to emerge.
When it appeared, it let out a battle cry and stared at Izuku. Shikigami was looking like an elephant, it had pink skin colour, red lines on its ears' edges, and black & gold ornaments over its body. Elephant inhaled a large amount of air and shot out a big column of water out of its trunk. Izuku quickly dodget it, he fought Max elephant many years ago, so he knows how to deal with it. Izuku sat on Great serpent and shikigami lunged towards the elephant. When it approached, Max elephant tried to blast them with its water blast, but serpent bit its trunk, making it unable to flee or attack. Izuku placed his palm on Elephant's forehead and consumed it. Elephant was much easier to beat than Round deer. Izuku lifted his fist in the air with triumph, he was one step closer to his goal.
Several months later. (May 30th. 2016.)
Izuku was sitting on a bench, waiting for someone and eating an ice cream. Several months has passed sinse that day, Izuku grew stronger everyday. He completed many missions succesfully, leaving a good impression at his employers. He could say he was very close to special grade 1 in strength. Today, he had a mission with a partner. There was a bunch of 1st grade curses reported in Ginza shopping district and their goal was to exorcize every single one of them. While he as swiping his phone, a man approched him. He was as high as Izuku (Izuku is 184 cm high), he had blonde hair styled with a neat part, he was wearing sunglasses without temples. He wore brown boots, beige blazer and trousers, spotted yellow tie aborned his blue shirt. He sat near Izuku, sipping his coffee, which caught Izuku's attention.
"You must be my partner for this mission?" asked Izuku while finishing his ice cream. He silently examined the man.
"You're right." answered the man, throwing his coffee cup in trash. "My name is Kento Nanami, pleasure to meet you." introduced himself Nanami, offering a handshake.
"Izuku Midoriya" Izuku introduced himself in response, accepting Nanami's handshake "Pleasure to meet you too."
After introductions, they headed to the shopping district in silence. Soon they arrived.
"So, Midoriya, what's your cursed technique?" asked Nanami, pulling his wrapped cleaver.
"And what is yours?" answered Midoriya, raising an eyebrow.
"Hmph... My technique is called "Ratio technique."" answered Nanami, going deeper into the district. "I mark my targets with lines divided into tenths. When i strike one of the lines on exactly seven-to-three ratio point, i land a critical hit. Basically, i can create a weak point for my opponent. The lines don't have to measure up to the target's full length or wingspan, everything will do. I also can use my technique on inanimate objects. Now, what about you?"
"My technique is called "Cursed transfer."" said Izuku, lighting his palm in blue-ish fire "It allows me to freely manipulate cursed energy. I can take, store, consume and give cursed energy. Be it sorcerer or cursed spirit, i can take their cursed energy. It also allows me to temporarily copy cursed techniques, it requires common knowledge of this technique, and permanently take other cursed technique."
The last part surprised Nanami, but he didn't show it.
"What do you mean by "permanently take?"" Nanami asked, looking at Izuku raising his eyebrow.
"It means exactly what you said. If i gain deep knowledge of the cursed technique, i can permanently take it and the original user isn't able to use it anymore. I took only one technique for now." answered Izuku, placing his hands in a spesific sign.
"And what is that technique you took?" Asked Nanami, but his question was answered by two dogs appearing out of Izuku's shadow. "Hmm... I see."
Then they continued to seek for curses in silence, Divine dogs were leading the way. The deeper they went, the denser cursed energy became around them. Suddenly, Divine dogs started growling, warning Izuku and Nanami about the danger ahead. Izuku summoned Great serpent and round deer for support. Moments later, they saw curses going towards them. They looked identical to each other, they all were tall pale humanoids. They had no arms and they had hands covering their faces. Red eyes could be seen between their fingers. Izuku ordered all his shikigami to take on the one on the left, he took the middle one and Nanami attacked the right one. Curses immediately attacked too.
Shikigami fight.
Round deer led the attack, Divine dogs ran on the side by side. Curse suddenly grow arms out of its face and grabbed Round deer's horns. But then it felt immense pain, Round deer emitted positive energy, counteracting curses' energy. Divine dogs kept up with deer and bit off curses' freshly grown arms. It didn't even had any time to react when Great serpent swallowed it whole, succesfully killing it. Serpent licked its non-existant lips in approvement, this curse was tasty, Divine dogs were munching on its arms too.
Nanami fight.
This fight was finished really fast, can't even call it a fight. The curse charged towards Nanami. But the man just stood there calmly. When the curse was close enough, Nanami swinged his cleaver and in the next moment the curse was split in half. Nanami adjusted his glasses and let out a silent groan.
"It didn't even stand a chance... A pitiful sight." said Nanami to himself. He looked in Izuku's direction, wanting to see what he is capable of. He noticed that shikigami already finished other curse. "At least i can see what this boy is capable of."
Izuku fight.
Can't call it a fight too. Izuku was sprinting towards the curse. The curse grew arms and wanted to grab Izuku's head. But Izuku leaned backwards and grabbed curses' arms. Azure-green energy covered the curse and it was consumed instantly.
"Pheh. Piece of cake." sighed Izuku. He was expecting more challenge. Meanwhile Nanami was pleasantly surprised. It was a pleasure to work with someone who knows his business.
Fight end.
"The job here is done." said Nanami, sensing the pressure going away. "Lets go."
Izuku nodded, recalled his shikigami and they left the distric. When they left, they reported their mission to the gov. worker and got their payment.
"I must say Midoriya, you're very skilled for your age." praised him Nanami while walking with Izuku to the train station. "It would be good if we worked on some more missions together."
"Thank you for your compliments, Nanami-san." answered Izuku, his cheeks blushed a little. "I would be honored to work with you too."
With that being said they reached the train station and boarded their trains. After this mission Izuku knew he was ready to try to take on three last shikigami. When he arrived home, he prayed to Ishi's photo he placed in Irogane's old room and went to sleep.

Chapter Text
1 week later.
Another curse converted into energy in a blink of an eye. Izuku exhaled, its the 136th curse he consumed today. For this week Izuku was consuming as much cursed energy as he could, preparing for rituals. He has only 3 shikigami to conquer, they being: Piercing Ox, Tiger Funeral and the unknown one. Despite all his attempts to find some information, he couldn't so he left mysterious shikigami for last. During this week he learned one trick, if Shikigami he summons are made of his cursed energy, he can share cursed energy and reverse curse technique with them. This made his shikigami more powerful, when Divine dogs were to rip apart limbs, now they're able to chomp on metall with no sweat, and all shikigami became more sturdy with faster regeneration. Beside that, he also continued on increasing force and speed of consumption of his cursed technique, making him being able to consume curses in an instant, regardless of their mass.
Izuku now walking in the middle of nowhere, farther from any settlement. Izuku stopped, looked around and made a hand sign of Ox. His shadow started to boil and take shape. Moments later, Izuku jumped away from a sudden attack. Izuku locked his attention at shikigami he summoned. It was looking like an ordinary Ox, but without lips, with two big fangs and an ornament between its horns. Shikigami didn't stop and charged into nearest boulder, smashing it into pieces. Izuku as surprised by its power, but he quickly shook off his surprise and summoned Round deer for support and Great serpent with toad to attack. What he knew about Piercing ox is that its damage increases if the distance it travels is long. So Toad's and Great serpent's objective is just to immobilise Ox. Before Ox could do anything, Toad tied its tongue around its legs, and serpent tied around ox's body, succesfully keeping it on place. Izuku placed his palm on Ox and instantly consumed it, ending the ritual. Izuku chuckled, two left to conquer, one at a day.
Tomorrow.
It was a summer rainy day, many kids were playing and jumping on puddles, teenagers were in a hurry to get to school, adults were going to work. This view was calming to Izuku, no curses were interrupting this peace, smiles of genuine happiness warmed his heart. He was walking with grocery bags in his hand, when he noticed something. A young woman was walking in front of him, but she wasn't the one who cought his attention, but the creature that sat on he rshoulders. It had many arms that were rubbing... These parts of the body. Curse looked like it was pleased, a wide smile adorns its face. This sight discusted Izuku the most. He quickened his pace, reaching his hand to the curse. Curse suddenly felt a suffocating grasp on its short neck, surprising it. In the next instant, the curse was gone. The woman felt a sudden relief, like something that was sitting on her shoulders fell off. She looked around, wondering what happened, but didn't see anything. Izuku, meanwhile, just continued on his road.
After he left his groceries at home, he went to the place where he fought Piercing ox. When he arrived, he made a hand sign that looked like tiger. His shadow boiled and the ninth shikigami emerged in front of him. It was the first humanoid shikigami he summoned. It was standing on two legs, had baggy pants with a rope belt. It didn't wear any shirt, revealing white coloured chest, It had wide shouldersa and muscular hands. It had a tiger head and was coloured as any other tiger. Instead of immediately attacking, it bowed to Izuku and got into a boxing stance. Izuku was confused, but bowed in response. Before Izuku could summon Round deer, Tiger growled, shaking its head. What Izuku understood of it, Tiger funeral wanted to fight him in 1 vs 1 fight.
Izuku groaned, anticipating a headache, but he obeyed and got into his own stance. They waited for a second, and lunged towards each other. They pulled their hands back, preparing a straight-forward attack. Their fists met, releasing a shock wave. This punch became two, then into four, and then they started an intense close combat. Izuku punched, kicked, parried and blocked attacks at incredible speed, but Tiger funeral didn't lag behind, it also landed some hits. With one punch, Izuku and Tiger were launched away. They calibrated and landed safely and launched towards each other again. This time, when Tiger tried to attack, Izuku bent away from attack and grabbed its hand, using his technique to end this. But tiger seen this as an opening and landed a devastating punch in Izuku's stomach. Izuku choked in pain, spitting out blood. This punch launched him into a far away and Izuku went through a big boulder. It would've messed up his body if it weren't for reverse curse technique. Izuku quickly recovered and attacked shikigami. He pulled his arm back, and Tiger tried to grab him. Tiger dodged the hit and tried to grab Izuku's hand, but when he was close to do that, Izuku suddenly dissappeared. Tiger was surprised for a second, but he regained calmness and looked behind. When he turned his head, he was greeted with soles in his face.
Izuku straightened his legs, landing a devastating dropkick in Tiger funeral's face, launching it through multiple boulders. But he didn't let him rest, Izuku instantly appeared above tiger, intending to punch it in a face again. But tiger recovered fast and rolled away. Izuku's fist hit the ground, leaving a 30 meter wide and 5 meter deep crater. Izuku started to attack more furiously, forcing Tiger funeral to defend. After some attacks, Izuku broke tiger's block and fastly started a barrage. After ten punches, Izuku jumped and locked tiger's head between his legs. Then he started spinning in the air very fast. When Izuku let tiger go, shikigami crushed on stony surface and burried up to the knees. Its legs were on the surface and everything else underground. With this, Izuku grabbed its legs and instantly absorbed all cursed energy from Tiger funeral, succesfully ending the ritual. Izuku was breathing heavily, but he couldn't stop the smile that touched his face. If he was right, this shikigami was much stronger compared to special grade curse he met one year ago. With this he went home to rest.
2 days later. June 9th. 2016.
After Izuku beat Tiger funeral, he instantly made it his sparring partner and coach to other shikigami. What he learned about Tiger funeral is that it had natural talent to any cursed weapon. No matter what weapons he gave it, it always was wielding it at master level. But today was the day. The day when he will tame last, tenth shikigami. Izuku was really nervous, but he was confident. He worked really hard and he will succeed. Izuku was standing in the same place, desert area with nothing but dust and boulders. Izuku did some breathing exercises, calming his nerves and slowly got down on one knee. He lifted his hands in front of him, clenching his fists. One arm was fully extended, other was half extended. A small breeze swirled around him, ruffling his hair. His body flashed in white light. Flashed once, flashed twice, and on the third flash, all went pitch black. No ground and no sky, just void. Before this day, Izuku was searching for any ounce of information about the last shikigami, and all he found was a name.
"With this sacred treasure, I summon..." wispered Izuku, staying in one position. Divine dogs and toads started to appear alternately in the shape of a crescent. At the end, in front of Izuku appeared a white cocoon, it was tied with multiple strings. "Eight-handled sword Divergent sila Divine general..."
The cocoon started to shake, cracking sounds emerged from there. Something ripped a hole on top of it, revealing a mouth without lips.
"Mahoraga." finished Izuku, standing on both legs. Shikigami in front of him started to get out of its fetters, revealing a towering, muscular humanoid figure with four wings protruding from its eye sockets and a tail-like appendage extending from the back of its head. Hovering just above this is a large eight-handled wheel. It also had black hakama bottoms and a white sash around its waist. Mahoraga heavily landed on ground and looked in Izuku's direction.
Izuku meanwhile summoned Tiger funeral, Percing ox and Round deer. After few seconds, Mahoraga took a step forwards and started approaching Izuku. Young sorcerer ordered Ox to gain distance for acceleration, round deer to cover them and he said Tiger funeral to assisst him. Izuku then started approaching Mahoraga aswell, flowing his cursed energy throughout his body. Then, opponents slowly switched to sprint, and finally they were running at their full speed. A sword came out of Mahoraga's right hand, and Tiger funeral exposed the sword Izuku gave him. They appeared in front of each other and started their brutal clash.
Mahoraga attacked Izuku, trying to slice him in half, but Tiger funeral blocked it with his sword. Sheer power of collision made craters under tiger's legs. While tiger was blocking Mahoraga's sword, Izuku appeared near its head and landed a punch, launching Mahoraga away. While it was flying, Great serpent caught Mahoraga in its mouth and started to slam it into the ground. But Mahoraga swinged its sword, slicing serpent's head off, freeing divine general. It would've killed it, but serpent's body started to regrow, Izuku used reverse curse technique on it. When Mahoraga freed itself, it was instantly attacked by Piercing ox. Damage was very high, Ox even went through Mahoraga. But the hole in Mahoraga's fastly healed, the wheel behind Mahoraga started shaking. Meanwhile Izuku appeared above divine general, intending to land an axe kick. But Mahoraga grabbed Izuku by his leg and started violently slamming him into the ground.
Tiger funeral didn't let Mahoraga hurt his master and sliced its arm, freeing Izuku. Taking advantage of the distraction that tiger made, Izuku swinged his arms in slicing moves. Azure-green trials of energy was left behind Izuku's arms, and in the next moments Mahoraga's chest was sliced. Izuku made this trick yesterday, he moves his arms at high speed, creating pressurized air waves. They are filled with cursed energy particles, making it effective at close range. Its effective distance is 3 meters before particles dissappear. While Mahoraga was distracted, Piercing ox tackled Mahoraga again. But this time, happened something that surprised Izuku. The wheel behind Mahoraga turned around, and in the next second Piercing ox was sent flying. Izuku had a bad feeling about it. He attacked Mahoraga again, punching it into face. But this time, Mahoraga stayed on it feet, what surprised Izuku more. Mahoraga's torso inflated and it released pressurized air out of its mouth, launching Izuku into the hill. When Izuku stood up, he saw Tiger funeral flying at him. Mahoraga tossed it in Izuku.
Young sorcerer dodged and lunged towards Mahoraga, while analyzing why it suddenly became resistant to his punches. Izuku summoned Great serpent again, this time under Mahoraga. Serpent squeezed general in its jaws, holding it still. After that, Nue appeared and tackled Mahoraga, shoking it with electricity. They did that some more times, but Mahoraga broke free and sliced Nue's wing. When Mahoraga landed, his hands were bitten by Divine dogs. They dug into the ground, trying to immobilise Mahoraga. But then the wheel turned again, and Mahoraga easily broke free, succesfully avoiding Izuku's dropkick. Izuku landed and Mahoraga appeared in front of him. Izuku avoided the first attack and grabbed Mahoraga's head. He used his cursed technique at full force, recieving a huge amount of cursed energy... But Mahoraga grabbed him by torso and tossed him away. Nue caught him and helped him to land safely. After Izuku's attemp of consuming Mahoraga, general's wheel turned almost instantly. Izuku felt like this fight became a lot more harder. When Mahoraga tried to approach Izuku, Tiger funeral suddenly grabbed it from behind and did a splendid suplex!
But when Mahoraga was about to taste the dirt, it horizontally hit Tiger funeral, launching it away. When it stood up, it was greeted with an army of rabbits, kicking every place of its body. Mahoraga's body started inflating, and a strong air wave scattered the rabbits in different directions. Izuku appeared in front of Mahoraga and wanted to punch it, but general responded with its own blow. Their fists met, but they didn't finish. They started to try and hit eachother, leading to a punching barrages. After a long exchange of blows, Mahoraga was victorious and punched Izuku away.
This fight continued for a long time, the sun started to settle and Izuku as tired. Every hour has passed, every attack his shikigami landed were less and less effective. Izuku figured why this shikigami scare 10 shadows technique users.
"This bastard adapts to everything i throw at him..." whispered Izuku, he in his current state couldn't maintain shikigami, round deer was at its limit, so he won't be able to use its healing powers, and his own reverse curse technique was pushed to its limit. Mahoraga, one the other hand, was unharmed, any damage was healed. Izuku didn't know if it was real, but he could see Mahoraga smirking. Then, Mahoraga attacked, forcing Izuku to flow every ounce of cursed energy he had left to defend his body. Mahoraga was punching, slicing and slamming Izuku everywhere. Young sorcerer was covered in his blood and his head started to spin and vision became blurry. Because of that, he missed Mahoraga's punch and was launched in the mountain at blinding speed. Izuku landed painfully, making a hole in the ground. He slowly stood up and saw Mahoraga's silhouette approaching him.
"Is.. that it?" thought Izuku, already seeing black spots in corners of his eyes "Am i going to lose here?"
Izuku closed his eyes, memories of him, Ishi, his parents started to flash in front of his eyes. He could feel his body refusing to move. Then he remembered what Ishi said before throwing him out of the window, everything he learned from him. In a brief moment he saw a white ball and black ball, but he didn't notice. He remembered every funny thing they did. White and black balls appeared again. The only tought he remembered right now is two words. "Domain expansion." What is domain expansion? Its a peak of jujutsu sorcery, strongest technique that sorcerers can have in their arsenal... Suddenly, Izuku felt something, deep inside of his soul, something resonated with him and his cursed technique. He could feel the flow of pure, primal cursed energy. His vision began to clear, he could breathe easier. His hands met, the thumbs went inside the palm, the index, ring, and little fingers curved outward and pointed down, the middle fingers stood horizontally. His arms hung down, a sudden surge of cursed energy went through Izuku's body and a huge amount of cursed energy started to go out of his body.
"Domain expansion." said Izuku, His eyes were wide open, pupils shrunk and mouth was a little but open. "Cursed Dominion!"
With these words, a barrier started to form around Izuku and Mahoraga. Chunks of stone they were standing on suddenly floated up. Barrier closed and stars suddenly started shining, violet clouds were everywhere, somewhere in the distance they could see a galaxy, peacefully spinning. Behind Izuku formed a black hole, light bent around it. Behind Mahoraga formed a white hole, also bending the light around it. After these celestial bodies formed, they started to fly around vertically, like sun and moon from human's vision. Mahoraga tensed, preparing for everything. It was its last action, Mahoraga started to inflate, but not by its will. It was inflating rapidly, and then it was turned into the white mist in a matter of second, and then it dissappeared. Domain shattered, Izuku fell on his knees. Mahoraga's wheel fell to the ground, and eventually melted into the black mud. Izuku didn't understand what happened right now, but he didn't care. He fell on the ground and fainted.

Chapter Text
November, 2016.
"..." somewhere, in a room full of strange talismans, a boy sat on a chair and was looking into space. His face showed nothing but sadness. Some things has happened that ended up him being locked in here. Meanwhile somewhere else, far from the boy...
"Are you asking for a full closed execution?" asked the man. He was standing between six old japanese-style windows with blurry silhouettes behind them. "Are you kidding me?"
The man was 190 cm high, wore black high collar jacket, black pants and shoes. His unique traits were a white blindfold and snow-white hair.
"However, the boy agreed." answered one of the silhouettes.
"Well, he is just a kid. He is still 16 years old." replied the man. "it's still a question of how many sorcerers will die in the process. "You've already lost three second-grades and one first-grade. Everyone is heavily cursed, that's the only reason you called me... Or what, you've forgot about it?"
"So you insist?" asked one of them, annoyance could be heard in his voice.
"Yes, Yuta Okkotsu will transfer to Jujutsu tech." answered white-haired man and left.
In the sealed room.
This man was standing in front of the black-haired boy. Yuta was sitting on the chair, looking at his feet. The man took out badly bent knife.
"Do you recognize it, Yuta Okkotsu?" asked the man, while playing with the knife.
"That's what used to be a knife..." answered Yuta quietly, still looking at the floor. "I tried to kill my self, but couldn't... Rika won't let me."
"Hm. Gloomy, you are." mumbled the man, dropping the knife. "After all, you're going to a new school today."
"I won't go. I don't want to hurt anyone..." said Yuta "And i won't leave."
"Believe me, it's sad to live alone." calmly said the man. "But this, your "curse", can save lives. The question is how to use it. First, master your power. It's never late to give up, so why rush?"
Yuto withdrew more into himself, thinking about this offer...
Meanwhile.
Izuku was walking to his destination. Several months has passed since his fight with Mahoraga. This showed him that he became much stronger. Since then he was completing missions one after another. Sometimes, even Nanami joined him in some investigations, but Izuku mostly does his missions alone. Today, there was a report of fearsome womb appearing in some elementary school in Tokyo. While Izuku was walking, he enjoyed the sun's warmth, sometimes exorcising curses that were sitting on people around him. It took him an hour to get to the school, a familiar man has met him. Sato Chihiro, a man that was working as a guide and provided data about missions, Izuku worked with him since his first mission. They had mostly business relation, but they sometimes sat in cafe's and talked about things (Mostly Sato complaining about too much paperwork). They nodded to eachother and Sato started explaining.
"As you know, a fearsome womb has been detected to be emerging here. The school is mostly evacuated, one teacher and three kids has gone missing. Your primal mission is to exorcise fearsome womb and find the missing people. Bring them here or report their death. Good luck."
Izuku took the files, looked at the photos of dissappeared and entered the school. When he entered, he instantly felt pressure of energy, but it was nothing. Izuku remained calm, his brain started analyzing.
"Looks like this curse made the whole school its territory, unfinished domain." Izuku thought, he summoned Divine dogs to track this curse. "Whatever, i will make this quick."
With determination in his eyes, Izuku went deeper into the maze...
Meanwhile outside of the school, a high man with white hair has suddenly appeared, surprising Sato for a minute.
"Gojo-san?" asked Sato, looking at the newcomer. "What are you doing here?"
"Who, me?" answered Gojo, pointing on himself. "I felt surge of cursed energy and decided to look what's up... So, what happened here?"
Sato gulped, but still answered.
"There was a report of fearsome womb emerging in this school. But there's no need of your presence. Another strong sorcerer is already doing his job."
"Strong, you say?" asked Gojo, raising an eyebrow. "If he is taking fearsome womb on his own, he must be a special grade sorcerer?"
"Technically, he is second grade on paper, but i've worked with him for year and he showed to be strong enough to take on this mission."
"Interesting..." hummed Gojo, rubbing his jaw. "I will go there anyway. I wanna see what he is capable of."
"Well, i can't stop you..." started Sato, but Gojo was already gone. Sato let out a loud groan. "Typical Gojo..."
Back to Izuku, he felt a sudden jump of cursed energy. He didn't know what caused that, but it wasn't the curse he was looking for. He shook his head and continued on his path. He met many weaker curses on his way, but with one swing of his hand they ceased to exist. Meanwhile Gojo was walking far behind Izuku. He could sense a strong presence ahead and he knew it was the sorcerer Sato was talking about. Gojo let out a grin, this started to get even more interesting. He quickened his pace and followed the trial of purple blood.
Izuku was roaming for some time and started to get annoyed. It felt like his destination somehow was always going away. Before he could start tearing this place to pieces, he walked into a big room. It looked like school gym. Izuku stood in the middle, looking everywhere. His hands were in pockets. Suddenly, he felt presence behind and sluggishly dodged slicing attack. He looked at the curse with a bored look. After Mahoraga all special grade curses he encountered past these five month weren't feeling... special. This one looked humanoid, had a spike intead of head. Its arms looked like asian swords. It had eyes in the nipples place and a mouth on the stomach. It was displeased of bored look this human was looking at it.
It attackd again, and Izuku easily dodged. He let the curse start its attack barrage and dodged every attack. Cursed started to growl and caught Izuku off guard with its speed. It managed to scratch his left cheek. Next thing the curse knew is silent void...
Meanwhile with Gojo.
While Gojo followed the trial, he stumbled upon four people, one woman and three children. They were hiding in the classroom. He quickly brought them out of this place and returned. While he was walking, he heard metallic clanking. When he approached to the source of sounds, he noticed a very amusing sight. A green haired boy and the curse were "fighting". Better say, the boy looked bored and curse was looking angry. Green-haired sorcerer and the curse either appeared or disappeared, every attemp of curse to kill the boy was unseccesfull. But the curse then landed an unexpected hit, leaving a scratch on the boy's cheek. The next thing that happened is the boy instantly appearing behind a curse and placing his palm on it. The curse instantly dissappeared in the boy's hand.
"Interesting, his moves where like he does it everyday. And his technique is intriguing..." Gojo rubbed his jaw, and then clapped his hands. "Well done! You did it like it was a piece of cake."
Izuku instantly turned around, Tiger's funeral emerged from his shadow, ready to attack.
"Who are you?" demanded Izuku, he was very close to summoning Mahoraga. Gojo raised his hands in capitulation sign.
"Woah, chill there broccoli boy! Im here with peace." Gojo tried to calm Izuku. A vein bulged on Izuku's forehead, this man was already annoying him. "But as i said, good job on exorcizing that curse. Im Satoru Gojo, the strongest!"
"The strongets huh?" mumbled Izuku, taking a relaxed stance, Tiger funeral dissappeared. "I'm Izuku Midoriya."
"Izuku Midoriya, huh?" mumbled Gojo, grinning even more. He already liked this boy. "Well, nice to meet ya! If im correct, youre sixteen right? Why aren't ya at school?"
"I've already finished my school program." answered Izuku, crossing his hands. "And what business is it of yours?"
"Just asking! No need to act tough, sheesh." said Gojo. Izuku was getting really annoyed with this guy. "But that's not the case. I look at you and see strong and confident young man, how about an offer?"
Izuku raised an eyebrow, as if telling him to continue. Gojo smiled.
"Wanna go to jujutsu tech? It's very entertaining here, and many talented sorcerers came out of there."
"Not interested." answered Izuku, heading to the exit. "I've learned everything i needed."
"Oh come oooon. Don't be such a neeeerd!" Stretched his words Gojo, leaning on Izuku's shoulder. "It's very interesting there!"
Gojo tried to convince Izuku, while green-haired boy continued on refusing. But Gojo didn't give up and offered something.
"If you're that stubborn, lets make a deal!" said Gojo while stretching. "We will do a friendly spar. If you win, i will leave you alone. But if I win, you have to enroll to Jujutsu tech."
Izuku wanted to refuse but this deal was tempting. Since his fight with Mahoraga, anything barely brought him a challenge. If Gojo really was the strongest, it would be a worthy challenge.
"Fiiine." groaned Izuku.
"Ok, nice!" Gojo jumped in excitement. He instantly appeared in the distance. "Rulse are simple, if someone couldn't move, they lose!"
"Ok, lets start alre-" Izuku started to prepare, but was launched outside.
Gojo attacked immediately, Izuku didn't have time to react. But Izuku shook his confusion. He barely dodged second attack and punched Gojo in face. But he was surprised when his fist stopped right in front of Gojo's face.
"Nice reflexes and attack speed, you're natural!" cheered Gojo and placed his palm on Izuku's tummy. Izuku was launched again, he could see a glimse of red. He heavily landed on a football gate, breaking his arm. Gojo approached Izuku, when he senced a familiar energy flow.
"Reverse curse technique huh? This boy is very interesting." thought Gojo, and Izuku used this opportunity.
He appeared beside Gojo and landed a spinning kick in his arm. Gojo blocked it, but he still slided for a couple of meters. hen Gojo lowered his hand, he saw a big stream of water moving his way. The water started to fly around him, not landing a hit. Gojo noticed a pink elephant, standing far away.
"Didn't know you were Zenin clan's member." Gojo shouted cheerfully, easily avoiding Piercing ox' charge.
"I'm not." answered Izuku, missing his hit.
"Wow, that makes it more impressive!" responsed Gojo, widening his eyes behind the blindfold.
This fight continued on and Izuku didn't land a single hit. He was annoyed. Meanwhile Gojo was entertained, who knew a boy of his age was this strong? But the next thing surprised him the most.
"Alright, im done playing around!" shouted Izuku. His arms started to point down and forming a sign. "Domain expansion..."
This line really caught Gojo off guard. Who would've thought that 16 years boy knew how to create a domain?
"Cursed Dominion!" with these words, a barrier covered them both. Familiar cosmic expanses appeared, black and white holes started spinning. Gojo suddenly felt like something was draining his cursed energy out. This somehow made Gojo nervous and he raised his hand and crossed index and middle fingers. Index finger went behind middle finger.
"Domain expansion..." calmly said Gojo. A white barrier has covered them and the in next moment Izuku's brain was flooded with information. He could see lines of purple fly by. When it was over, he was greeted with grey void, white stains appeared and dissappeared. "Unlimited void."
Gojo finished casting his domain expanshion and slowly approached Izuku.
"I must say, learning a domain expansion is a very hard thing, especially this early. You really are something, Midoriya." Gojo said to immobilized Izuku. The boy couldn't even move his eyes. "But... I won this time!"
With this, Gojo hit Izuku with his fingers in specificall points, making him unable to move. He quickly caught him and both domains shattered. Izuku fastly fainted from information overdose.
"See you in Jujutsu tech, Midoriya." said Gojo and carried him to his friend so he could rest.

The next day.
"Uuugghh..." groaned Izuku. His head was killing him, he felt like he would puke immediately. He tried to open his eyes, but he was greeted with bright light. Izuku hissed in pain and used reverse curse technique. Slowly, sharp headache subsided and he regained hissight back. When Izuku got easier, he sat on the edge of his hospital bed. His struggles must've woke someone, when he heard approaching footsteps.
"So, you finally woke up." Izuku looked up and saw a tall woman with long brown hair that extends past her shoulders. She wore a white lab coat, blue sweater under the coat and dark-blue jeens. She also had small eyebags. "Im impressed that it took you one day to recover. What was that dumbass even thinking?"
"Where am I?" asked Izuku, looking around. "And who are you?"
"Im Shoko Ieiri. And you're in the hospital, if you want to call it like that." answered Shoko, doing an inspection. "Now let me ask you a question. What in the gods name you did to make that dumbass use his Domain expansion?"
Firstly, Izuku didn't understand the question. But then he remembered what happened, he went on a mission, he exorcised the curse, Gojo offered him a friendly fight and he suffered a crushing defeat. He didn't have time to explain what happened when a door slammed into the wall.
"And here i am!" cheerfully shouted Gojo, raising his hand that was holding a plastic bag. "And i brought some goods!"
Shoko grumbled something like "knock on the door next time" and left the room. Gojo plopped down next to Izuku and took a watter bottle out of the bag.
"Here, have a drink." offered Gojo. Izuku took the can and drained the bottle. Gojo chuckled and opened his lemonade. "I must say, you almost had me in there, i'm impressed."
"I didn't even land a proper hit on you." replied Izuku, staring at Gojo. "How did i "have" you in there?"
"Its simple, if i didn't counter your domain with mine, you could've sucked my cursed energy dry!" answered Gojo, leisurely sipping lemonade. "I never would've guessed you were that strong. But thats not the case."
Gojo started a one-sided conversation, while Izuku was deep in his thoughts. His fight with Gojo taught him that there are still strong people above him. This motivated Izuku to become even stronger. Then he was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts by Gojo.
"Say, Midoriya. How long you've been doing this?" asked Gojo, leaning on Izuku's shoulder. "I mean, that curse was strong, totally special grade for others. No ordinary sorcerer could take it on."
Izuku was thinking wether tell him or no. He decided to tell him.
"I've been doing this for eight years." started Izuku, some bad memories appeared in the background. But they were overwhelmed by all the good stuff that happened. "My parents were murdered by a cursed spirit. I started seeing them when i was, like two. I was saved by a sorcerer. His name was Ishi Irogane. He taught me everything i know, how to fight, how to control my power, everything..."
Gojo listened to him attentively. Izuku told him about everything Ishi made him to go through and to present day. He even told him about the day he lost his mentor. Gojo didn't interrupt him until Izuku finished.
"Wow, that Ishi guy must be very good sorcerer to make you grow this strong..." hummed Gojo, rubbing his jaw. He then snapped his fingers. "Okay! Now let's talk about the elephant in the room. You're aware you lost the deal?"
Izuku nodded, Gojo's face became more serious.
"Ok then, let me tell you something. Im not really forcing you. You're strong and you have so much place to grow. You've been alone for a long time and you got used to it. But you won't go very far from your current state if you keep doing things your way." Gojo stood up and sat down in front of Izuku. "Eventually, you will hit the wall. That's why i want you to enroll in Jujutsu high."
"If i will hit a wall, i will break it into pieces." stubbornly said Izuku, narrowing his eyes. "I don't need anyone's help."
"You think you can do it alone, and i can see that you have strength to show that its true. But there is more than just this." calmly replied Gojo. "You will never reach your true potential if you keep going solo. The world is a bigger place, and there are things that even i wouldn't want to face alone."
Izuku looked down, Gojo could see a conflict in his eyes. He continued.
"I will say it again, you're strong. Stronger than anyone your age. If it were to you and me when i was in highschool, you would've won in our fight." said Gojo, leaning forward. "But power like yours? It's dangerous if you don't refine it. You'll burn out long before you get the chance to make a real difference."
Gojo stopped for a moment, letting Izuku to reflect on what he said. Izuku was trying to come up with the excuse, but he knew that Gojo was right. Gojo let out a little grin.
"I know someone. A boy like you. He didn't want to go to Jujutsu high too, he thinks he could handle his problems by himself. But i know he is strong, and i see that same strength resting inside you. You've already got the skills. You need to sharpen them and Jujutsu high is the exact place you need."
Izuku processed what Gojo said. Every word the white-haired man said found a response in his soul. Finally, Izuku decided.
"I don't care about making friends or joining your little club." answered Izuku, closing his eyes and ignoring Gojo's frown. "I just want to get stronger, so no one would suffer the same fate i experienced and so i won't lose again... I hope your school worth it."
The last line brought a bright smile on Gojo's face.
"Believe me Midoriya!" answered Gojo, returning to his joyfull mood and shaking Izuku's hand. "You won't regret it!"
The next day. 7 AM.
It was a calm day in Jujutsu high dorm. Birds were singing, the sun is shining. But for Yuta Okkotsu, the morning wasn't very beautiful. His alarm clock was ringing, making him unable to sleep more. Yuta layed on his bed and was staring on the ceiling. He layed some more and then slowly stood up. He brushed his teeth and went in cafeteria. A walk there was quiet. When he entered the cafeteria, he was surprised when he saw another boy sitting there and eating his breakfast, he had a gloomy expression on his face. Breakfast contained rice, vegetables and green tea. The boy seemed not to notice him, which he was a little grateful for. After the breakfast, Yuta and the green-haired boy left the cafeteria. It was a little surprising that their rooms were just in front of eachother. Yuta quickly went in and changed, he put his chain on, it had a ring on it, he put on a loose white uniform jacket with sleeves that stop at his forearms and slender blue jeans that tuck into white sneakers that match his jacket. When he buttoned the button, he left his room. At the same time the boy he met in cafeteria left his room.
He was dressed in not quiet a tight dark-green uniform jacket, the jacket had three buttons, two on the collar and one at the bottom. He wore black jeans and red sneakers that stand out from the uniform color scheme. The boy stretched, and without even saying a hi he headed towards the exit. Yuta quickly followed him. They were walking in awkward silence (mostly for Yuta). After some time Yuta found some courage to speak to him.
"Um, good morning." said Yuta. But the boy didn't reply, he was just walking and looking forward. But Yuta didn't give up the conversation. "My name is Yuta Okkotsu. What's your name?"
"Midoriya Izuku." answered the boy, his voice was lacking any emotions.
"Nice to meet you." replied Yuta, now walking to the side of Izuku. "Are you new here too?"
Izuku just nodded and they continued the walk. Soon enough they encountered their new teacher Gojo.
"Looks like you're already getting along!" Gojo greeted two boys and led them to the college. "How's the introduction going?"
"A waste of time." coldly said Izuku "I joined this college to become stronger, not to make friends."
"Aww, no need to be such a negativity ball!" replied Gojo, poking Izuku in his cheek, a vein bulged on Izuku's forehead. "Friends are important too!"
Meanwhile.
Three students were walking towards the college. The road was going through a forest area. The trio consisted of two humans, one boy and one girl and a walking panda. The young man had platinum blonde short hair, he wore a scarf, black uniform jacket and pants. The girl on his right was wearing the same coloured jacket and pants, she was carrying a cover of some long weapon. And panda... was a panda.
"Did you hear the news? We have the new ones." asked Panda. "Some say that one of them rammed four classmates into his locker."
"Did he kill them?" asked the young lady.
"Tuna mayo?" said the young man. It seems that his friends understood him.
"No, but he injured them." answered Panda.
"Oh? Well, If anything happens I'll beat the crap out of him." replied the girl. "What's about another one?"
"Well, i don't know about him very much." answered Panda, shrugging his shoulders. "But i hope he's good fella."
"Dried tuna?" asked the boy more himself than anyone here.
In the classroom.
"And now guys! Greet. Our. New guys!" excitedly said Gojo, striking multiple poses. "Smiles from ear to ear! Come on!"
He was greeted with dead silence.
"...Please?" he added. But he was still greeted with silence.
"They say the guy there is crazy." said the young lady, also known as Maki Zenin. "So don't expect a warm welcome."
"Salmon." said the young man, also known as Toge Inumaki.
Gojo exhaled in defeat. But he regained his smile as fast as it was gone.
"Welp, who cares!" said Gojo and turned to the door. "Come on in!"
"There is no hint of hospitality from there..." someone mumbled behind the door. It opened and all students looked there. The first boy who entered the room was Izuku Midoriya. He gave everyone a piercing look, starting to analyze them. Right after Izuku, Yuta entered the classroom and every step he made released a terrifying amount of cursed energy. Maki, Inumaki and Panda tensed from the sudden urge of energy, while Izuku didn't seem to be bothered by it. The dark shadow loomed above Yuta, it looked towards them and growled. Three students imediately prepared to fight, which didn't go unnoticed by Izuku, who immediately summoned his shikigami. Before the trio could do anything, Panda was thrown back by Tiger funeral, Divine dogs dug in Inumaki's throat and leg. Izuku grabbed Maki's naginata, easily holding it away from Yuta. The trio was caught off guard, Izuku turned to Gojo, who was just smiling.
"Do your students always react like that?" he asked with bone chilling voice. "If yes, im starting to regret that i've enrolled here."
"Hey! Do you even know who-" started Maki, still surprised that this boy can easily stop one of her attacks. But Izuku interrupted her with his serious glare.
"Hush! Who in their right mind will attck their new classmates!?"
"You don't understand!" replied Panda while standing up. "He is cursed! A curse is following him!"
"And? I don't see it doing harm to him." said Izuku, still looking at the trio. But any sense of a fight was blown away by Gojo.
"Okay okay! We had a little argument and that's enough." said Gojo, standing between them and turning to Yuta. "Disappearances are not uncommon in Japan, about ten thousand of them happen every year. And the reason for them is negative emotions that have burst out, or rather curses. There are also simple murders at the hands of sorcerers. Only another curse can resist a curse, and here we study how to fight them. You are at the Tokyo Jujutsu High."
Yuta looked at Gojo with a blank stare. Izuku looked at his new teacher with annoyed look.
"And you didn't bother to explain this situation in advance?!" Yelled Izuku with comically angry white eyes and let go off Maki's spear and recalling his shikigami. "Are you dumb or what?!"
Maki, Toge and Panda looked at Gojo in disbelief, now feeling kinda dumb. Gojo raised his hand and said "My fault."
"Now lets properly introduce ourselves!" said Gojo, grabbing the newcomer's shoulders. "C'mon guys! Introduce yourself! Don't be shy!"
Panda decided to go first as an icebreaker.
"Hi, im Panda! Sorry for what happened earlier. The boy on my left is Toge Inumaki!"
"He couldn't introduce himself?" asked Izuku, crossing his arms.
"Actually no, he uses onigiri ingredients to communicate safely. His cursed technique makes him unable to say anything without consequenses." answered Panda, scratching his head.
Izuku hummed and looked at Maki. She snorted irritably and introduced herself.
"Maki."
Now that they introduced themselves, it was the newcomer's turn. Yuta desided to go first.
"I-im Yuta Okkotsu, nice to meet you."
"Izuku Midoriya."
After he said that, everyone looked at him. Most of them were sceptical about that.
"Now, that introductions are over, we have five first-years now! After lunch you have practice and you will do it in pairs! Toge, you're with Panda. Midoriya, you're with Yuta. And Maki will go alone, sorry!"
With that being said, all-time happy teacher started his litle lesson. Izuku was waiting for practice with hidden impatience.

Chapter 11
Summary:
Izuku and Yuta go on the mission!
Chapter Text
Some time later.
"Where are we?" asked Yuta, looking around.
"In an ordinary elementary school!" answered Gojo. Izuku was cautious, he could feel a presence of cursed spirits. "Ordinary, but only the kids disappear within its walls"
"D-disappear!?" said Yuta in surprise. Meanwhile Izuku already started preparing.
"Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure." with these words, a curtain started to cover the school. This scared Yuta a little.
"Wasting no time huh?" mumbled Gojo, but then spoke louder. "For now only two kids have disappeared."
"Curses often appear in places with many negative memories or emotions tied to them." started explaining Izuku, the curtain covered the whole school. It was like a night-time. "Schools, hospitals, they gather many cursed energy, and when the energy is too much, curses appear."
Izuku pushed Yuta forward and calmly approached to the entrance. "If i recall correctly, two kids are missing... We must banish the cursed spirit and find these children... Or at worst what's left of them."
Yuta didn't like how Izuku said it, but he still followed him.
"Now, take care you too!" said Gojo and left them. "If anything will happen, i will bust you out! And try not to die."
"W-what? Wait!" screamed Yuta, but Izuku called him.
"Oi Okkotsu. Stay cautious, we have guests." said Izuku, drawing Yuta's attention forward. When Yuta turned around, he saw three starnge creatures. In front of them stood three curses, all looked alike. They were white, had short legs and long arms, they looked like potato bags with stitches across their torso and a single eye instead of head. They started breathing intensively (if you can call it like that.) and ripping their stitches apart, opening their big mouths wide and charged towards two boys.
"They're coming at us!" screamed Yuta in panic, it was his first mission after all. "W-what do we do?!"
"First, shut your mouth and concentrate!" yelled Izuku and charged at the curses, really annoyed by Yuta's attitude. "Remember it like its a law. Weak curses always cluster together!"
With that being said, Izuku placed his palms on every curse. When he landed, curses stood there for a second then vanished in black mist. This mist then was sucked inside of Izuku in an instant.
"Wow... With just one attack!" Yuta thought in awe, Izuku stood up to his full height and put his hands into his sleeves.
"Lets proceed." coldly said Izuku and without waiting headed into school. Yuta snapped out of it and fastly followed him. They were walking in empty hallways, Yuta was sweating like crazy, holding his arms.
"U-uh Midoriya... Aren't you scared?" asked Yuta while looking around. Izuku was walking in front of him with confidence.
"Why should i be scared?" answered Izuku without turning around.
"U-uh, just... There are probably ghosts here too..." said Yuta. They just passed by a purple thing with multiple eyes. "There's something coming out already..."
"Strange... Even though i lowered the curtain, there's still too few curses..." thought Izuku while looking at curses that were keeping their distance. "Is it possible that Okkotsu's curse scaring them away? Or is it both me and Yuta?"
"W-woah! Something just moved there!" Yuta jumped back in fear. Maybe he saw a curse hiding there. His scream snapped Izuku out of his thoughts and with silent groan Izuku stopped.
"Hey. Remind me please, what is your grade?" asked Izuku, frowning even more.
"Huh? English grade?" Yuta misunderstood, which made Izuku frown more.
"Every sorcerer are divided in four grades by power." Izuku said irritably.
"B-but we're new here... I bet there isn't any." answered Yuta, taking a blank expression. Izuku rubbed the bridge of his nose in annoyance.
"*That idiot i swear...* Give me your student card, will ya?"
"Oh?" finally, the general idea caught up with him and he took out his card. "Here, take it."
Izuku took the card out of Yuta's hands and quickly read all information.
"Special grade, really?" thought Izuku with a mix of surprise and disbelief. "But he doesn't even have any experience, is that because of his curse, Rika?"
"Midoriya? Midoriya!" Yuta screamed, pulling Izuku out of his thoughts. "B-behind you!"
Izuku without looking swinged his arm. A green trial of energy followed his movement and in the next second rivers of purple blood began to pour. The curse that wanted to sneak up to them screamed in pain and attacked. Two students were launched into the air above the school and the curse followed them. Izuku quickly recovered and prepared to attack, but then he sensed something inside of that curse. With a facepalm and "what am i even doing" whisper he dived into curse's mouth, Yuta falled just after Izuku, somehow avoiding sharp phangs in curse's throat.
"NoM noM. ThaNKs FOr ThE treAT" mumbled the curse, letting out a distorted burp.
Inside of the curse.
Izuku landed safely and quickly caught Yuta.
"Where are we..?" asked Yuta while looking around.
"We're inside of this curse." calmly said Izuku and started seeking something. Yuta didn't understand at first, but then his eyes widened.
"Wait, so that means he ate us?!" screamed Yuta, slowly falling into panic "What are we going to do!?"
"Seek for the kids. I can sense them here." said Izuku, but that was just one of the reasons. "And i want to see what Rika's capable of."
"W-what?! I myself don't really know when Rika appears, let alone how to summon her!" answered Yuta in panic.
"She loves you, right? That means she will do everything that you say." replied Izuku, going into the tunnel. "Just ask her to get you out, i will seek for children."
"Save us!" a child's voice was heard. Izuku without a single thought appeared in front of two children. He looked at them and saw some very bad burns, one kid was barely breathing.
"Round Deer!" Izuku exclaimed, making a hand sign. A deer appeared behind him, what surprised both kids and Yuta. It slowly approached to children and poked them with its nose. A white aura covered them and all wounds has dissappeared, their breathing stabilized.
Yuta meanwhile was heavily breathing. He knew he had to do something, summon Rika but... Suddenly, Izuku grabbed his shoulder.
"You're not going to do anything, are you?" Izuku asked calmly.
"Yes, I would be glad to somehow... but I can't do it-" answered Yuta, but Izuku turned him to face him, his viridian eyes were piercing through his soul.
"Then why are you here!?" shouted Izuku, releasing a rare burst of emotions. "Why did you come to Jujutsu High? What do you want to accomplish?! What to fulfill?!"
"And why did YOU come here?!" shouted Yuta in response "I can clearly see you don't want to be here, just like me... But still, why?"
"To get stronger." answered Izuku, letting go of Yuta. "To make sure no one will experience the fate similar to mine."
Yuta was caught off guard with that phrase, Izuku continued.
"Curses killed my loved ones. My parents, my uncle. And every time that happened, I wasn't strong enough... I promised to my self to get stronger, no matter what. So i can make sure no one will lose their loved ones, be it partners, parents and kids. So i can save people from these monstrosities!" Izuku grabbed Yuta's shoulder again, Yuta saw grief and regret in his eyes, so similar to his, but he could feel that these emotions fuel a strong fire of determination... And Izuku wanted to ignite that flame in Yuta too. "So tell me, Yuta Okkotsu! Why. Are. You. Here?!"
"I... I don't want anyone anywhere to feel bad..." answered Yuta, tears started to form in corners of his eyes. "I tried to isolate myself from everyone. And one day someone told me that it was sad to live alone, and I had nothing to say. I need a connection with at least someone! I want to be needed! I want to believe that I have rights to live..."
"Then banish." replied Izuku with a tone that can freeze almost everyone, but not Yuta. "Banish curses! Purify, annihilate them! And confidence and friends will appear in the process! Im not the one to talk, but believe me! Because... I can see it already bearing fruits."
Yuta looked into Izuku's eyes for some time. He understood what Izuku said in that last sentence... He is willing to be his friend. He understands him and vice versa. Yuta unbuttoned his coat, revealing an engaging ring on a chain. With ease he torn the chain and stared into nothing.
"Rika, are you here?" Yuta wispered while putting the ring on his ring finger. Izuku let go of his shoulders and took the children in his arms, moving away in process.
"What happened?" A child's voice came in Yuta's head.
"Please help." answered Yuta.
Outside, the curse started to feel discomfort. It's torso started to deform. Moments later a larger monstrous curse with a large muscular upper body, long arms, and a tail-like shadow that served as its lower body broke free from the curse's insides. It screeched in the air, and the eater looked at it and asked "who's that" with a distorted voice. White curse, who's name was Rika Orimoto, started to butcher the curse in front of it, fountains of purple blood scattered in every angle.
Meanwhile outside the curtain.
"Now this is some power... So this is what you are like in full force, the curse named Rika Orimoto..." mumbled Gojo, covering his eye with one hand. He let out a chuckle "Well that's creepy."
Back there again.
"Wo-ow! How pretty! How pretty have i become!" said Rika, while looking at her hand that was covered in purple blood. "I love it!"
With this scream Rika started turning the curse into puree, while Izuku and Yuta quietly retreated from there, carrying kids on their backs.
"Good job back there, Yuta." said Izuku. Yuta was ready to fall at any moment, but adrenaline is what kept him on legs.
"Thanks." whispered Yuta, they were near the curtain. Suddenly, the curtain started sparking and vanished. That means Rika finally finished that curse off.
"Welcome back." greeted them Gojo with a light smile, leaning on his car. "You both did great."
These words were the last thing Yuta heard before his vision went black. Izuku quickly caught him. A rare smile touched his lips, wich was noticed by Gojo. White-haired teacher's smile quckly became shitty.
"Just look at here! You're smiling!" teased Gojo. Izuku's smile instantly vanished and he looked at his teacher irritably.
"You saw nothing." Izuku growled, sending his best death stare at Gojo, but it wasn't very effective...
"Yeah yeah, sure, serious guy. Lets get the to the hospital." chuckled Gojo, waving his hand. Izuku groaned, but he sat Yuta and two kids on backseats. With that, they drove to the nearest hospital...

Chapter Text
"Heh, what a vicious gang of old geezers..." talked to himself Gojo. He was dressed in sports jacket and black loose pants. Not so while ago the higher ups scolded him for letting Yuta use Rika. "I hope I won't become like that myself. I'll have to take care of myself. And in general, they were going to take away the youth from the young man, and this is simply not permissible..."
He swapped his glasses for a blindfold and continued his way to the training grounds. He stopped for a moment and looked down. Down there, he saw how Yuta was struggling to finish his lap around the training ground. A second later he was overtook by Izuku, Toge and Maki, who weren't looking very tired.
"Maki, Toge, Izuku! Final lap!" shouted Panda who was sitting in the middle of the ground. These words motivated Yuta more and he quickened his pace.
"No one can take it away from anyone" mumbled Gojo with a soft smile and continued his way towards his students. Some time later he led Yuta towards a storage.
"Come on, get inside." said Gojo after opening the door inside. With a nod Yuta went inside. The light came on and the armory opened up before Yuta's eyes. Various weapon, from knives to spears, contained here.
"It is almost impossible to destroy such a powerful curse as Rika. However, you want to remove it." said Gojo, while looking for something. "You will have to tie a thousand knots of power and untie them one by one. Only you are capable of this, cursed."
"And what do i have to do exactly?" asked Yuta.
"Here, take this sword." replied Gojo, tossing a sword towards Yuta. The boy catched it and almost dropped it. "Curses are most stable when moved into an item. Last time you established contact with Rika Orimoto through the ring, and it still works. Now pull out Rika's curse, put it into the sword and subjugate it. More and more each time and one day, you will be able to pull out all the dark power. And then hello freedom, for you and your friend."
"I need to put the curse into the sword?" repeated Yuta, looking at shiny surface of his katana.
"But not only that! At the same time you need to master the katana." said Gojo, pushing on Yuta and making him bend back. "Because you, my friend, are unimaginably weak. Therefore, first of all, let's take care of your hardening!"
3 months later. At the training ground.
Today our new sorcerers-in-training were training, they had friendly fights as a practice. Gojo approached Izuku and started whispering something. Izuku nodded sometimes, and stood up. Yuta was holding a wooden katana, ready for everything. But Izuku wasn't going to fight Yuta, instead, he made a hand sign of tiger. Shadow under him started to boil, which immediately drew attention of everyone, especially Maki. She identified the technique that Izuku used as an inherited technique of Zenin clan. After a second, Tiger Funeral emerged from the shadow, Izuku said something to him and gave him a wooden staff. Shikigami took the staff and prepared itself. Yuta shook his surprise off and quickly attacked. But before Yuta could blink, the shikigami’s staff whipped around in a blur, catching his wooden blade and sending it spinning out of his hands. A quick thrust followed, knocking Yuta off his feet. Poor boy landed on his back, good thing that grass somehow softened his fall. Without delay, Yuta stood up and caught his weapon, kindly thrown by shikigami. With that, they continued their fight.
Meanwhile, Izuku was paired with Maki to fight. They stood in front of each other, looking into the eyes and waiting for the opponent's move. Izuku started to go around in circle, so did Maki, not daring to disturb the eye contact. Suddenly, Maki lunged forward, her staff whistling through the air as she aimed for Izuku's ribs, but Izuku was ready, and with a fast move he parried her attack, sending vibrations through the staff. Maki didn't lose her head and started attacking from many angles, in legs, in torso, in head, in back, while Izuku remained in defencive stance and parried every attack.
"I must say..." thought Izuku. Attacks blured from the high speed, so did Izuku's hands, precisely blocking or parrying every hit. "For a 4th grade, she's a very good fighter. I must stay cautious."
While Izuku was thinking, Maki raised her staff, intending to land an overhead strike. It was an opening Izuku was waiting, and showing excellent flexibility, he caught the staff with his leg, while leaning backwards. Maki's eyes widened from a surprise. Untill now, not even pand dared to catch her attacks like that, but this newbie did that with ease. Without giving her a chance, Izuku redirected Maki's staff into the ground and kicked her in the shoulder with a spin, launching her away. But Maki didn't fall that easy, she recovered in the air and landed on her feet.
"He is no amateur. He does it like he was born for it..." thought Maki, she could feel her blood boiling from excitement and a slight smile touched her lips. "Heh, i'm starting to enjoy it!"
But when she raised her head, Izuku was just above, ready to land a finisher punch. Maki quickly blocked the hit and stepped back, but Izuku was restless as he started his own series of attacks. He kicked and punched in unpredictable points, while Maki desperately blocked every hit, sometimes counter attacking. Izuku tried to low kick Maki, but she blocked and without delay attacked his head. But Izuku caught the staff right in front of his cheek and dragged it down dioganally, hitting Maki's jaw with her own weapon. Maki endured the hit, ripped her weapon out of his hands and tried to attack again, but Izuku jumped above her staff. He landed and continued on pushing her. It continued like that for a while, but then Izuku raised his leg high, intending to perform axe kick. Maki raised her staff, ready to block, when something unexpected happened. Izuku kicked with such force that the staff couldn't handle the pressure and broke in half, Maki's eyes widened in shock. But that wasn't all, while Maki was distracted, Izuku attacked, his foot swung around, connecting with her stomach in a blur, sending her flying. She heavily landed and started tumbling.
"I suggest you to give up, Zenin-san." finally spoke Izuku after minutes of intense fighting. Little sweat drops were running on his forehead, but Izuku was still fine. "There is no way you will win this."
Instead, Maki quickly stood up, holding her stomach and breathing heavily.
"Give up? No way!" replied Maki, a wide grin adorned her face. "I was just getting started!"
Izuku looked into her eyes for a second, finding nothing but determination and some joy. He himself grinned a little, returning to the stance. With the new force they went crazy in a duel. Maki abandoned her broken weapon, cracked her knuckles and launched at Izuku with a new force. Meanwhile Izuku chuckled, returning to his stance, a little grin adorned his face too. He caught Maki's punch and thrown his own. The fight became intense very fast, and even though Izuku was holding back, he enjoyed his fight with Maki. Maki was in the same boat, except she wasn't holding back. Meanwhile somewhere off-to the side, Gojo, Panda and Inumaki were sitting and observing the fights.
"Looks like Izuku and Yuta have been with us for three months now." commented Panda, while scratching his cheek. "And Yuta started moving noticeably better."
"Salmon." agreed Inumaki.
"And he himself became much more cheerful." said Gojo, rubbing his jaw. "Izuku began to thaw out little by little too."
"Red caviar." commented Toge.
"And i can see that Maki enjoys aswell. And until now she hadn't been able to fence properly-" started Panda, when suddenly he froze. He looked at Maki and Izuku. Panda could sometimes hear how they exchange phrases between attacks. Gears started to spin in his head, when he suddenly was struck by lightning of realization. Panda gasped, his mouth was wide open. Without losing any time, he quickly attracted Izuku's attention. "Midoriya!!! For a minute! To me!"
Izuku turned towards Panda with raised eyebrow. He let go off Maki's fist and ran towards his furry comrade. Maki let out a disappointed groan, Panda interrupted such a good fight!
"What happened, Panda?" coldly said Izuku, crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes. But Panda didn't let Izuku's coldness to ruin the moment!
"I have something important to talk to you about, answer seriously!" said Panda, suddenly grabbing Izuku into a side hug to the boys displeasure. Panda covere his mouth with other hand so no one could hear what they were talking about. "Do you like big breasts? Or small ones?"
Izuku just looked at Panda with a blank stare. His mouth was opened a little, eyes narrowed in confusion. His only thought at the time was "What?". A second has passed, 2 seconds... And on a third second Izuku realized what Panda asked and he immediately turned purple, his face took a furious expression, but without any anger.
"W-What does that have to do with anything?!" yelled Izuku, drawing attention of everyone. "Are you joking?!"
"No, i'm serious." calmly said Panda. "So, what is your answer?"
Izuku took some time calm down, Panda, waiting for his answer, didn't make it any better. His purple skin became red and he nervously rubbed his elbow.
"W-well... I didn't really pay attention to it, but maybe... Bigger ones..?" mumbled Izuku. The look in Panda's eyes didn't make him feel any better. Looks like Izuku's answer really liked by Panda.
"Hohohoho! Maki!" called Panda.
"What?" asked Maki, unaware of the conversation Panda had with Izuku. Panda spun around and stopped in a pose where his arms were making a heart.
"You have all the chances!" shouted Panda with sparkles somehow appearing around him, with happy grin and pink cheeks. The sentence really struck Maki and Panda didn't need to wait for a response longer.
"What are you thinking of there!? I'll kill you, you bastard!" yelled Maki.
"Don't be embarrassed, you're not a first grader!" teased Panda in response.
"Oh that's it, you're dead!" replied Maki and started chasing Panda around. Yuta and Izuku were looking at the scene with a mix of confusion and joy (Yuta was enjoying it, Izuku was mostly confused).
"I just can't understand what they're talking about." said Yuta, nervously pointing at them.
"Same/Kelp." replied Toge and Izuku at the same time. While they were looking how Maki stommped Panda into the ground, Gojo called everyone.
"Hey guuuys! General assemblyyy!" said Gojo. "Panda, continue on your training. Toge, Izuku, you have orders."
"What orders?" asked Yuta.
"Toge here is second grade. He is allowed to take on missions alone." explained Izuku, comepletely calmed down after Panda's question. "Just like me and you. We are special grade sorcerers, so we can take on missions on our own."
"Wow..!" gasped Yuta, looking at Toge in a new light.
"Yuta, go with him too. You can help if anything happens." said Gojo. He then turned towards Izuku. "But for you, my dear friend, it's a completely different matter. Maki will assist you. Lets go somewhere more private."
With that being said, Gojo led Izuku and Maki along the path.
"Don't waste time Gojo-sensei. Tell us the mission." said Maki, crossing her arms. Izuku was curious too.
"This one is tough." said Gojo, turning around and looking directly into their eyes. "Your mission is to retrieve Ryomen Sukuna's finger."
This one sentence sent chills down their spine. Izuku's eyes became firmer. Gojo continued.
"The finger was discovered in an abandoned building which is located in Iwata city, Shizuoka prefecture."
Now this made Izuku to lose his breath. He flinched at the words "Iwata city", cold sweat ran down his back, heart started beating rapidly and his breath became intermittent. Flasbacks of him and Ishi, fighting for their lives, appeared for a short amount of time. But before he could dive into memories, a shake on his shoulder snapped him back to reality.
"Hey Midoriya. What happened?" asked Maki, shaking her partner. "Don't tell me you're scared?"
"Pfft. As if." replied Izuku, shaking bad memories away and returning to his gloomy expression. "I just... remembered something."
"Well then, if nothing happened, shall we go?" said Maki, not really believing that nothing's wrong, but not really caring about it. She was eager to complete the mission. With a nod, Izuku and Maki headed towards the nearest train station.
Iwata City. Abandoned construction site, 5PM.
Izuku and Maki were standing in front of hte construction site. Maki was holding her naginata, ready to fight, while Izuku stood tensely. Bad memories automatically filled his head, but they didn't affect him in the way it intended. Instead of holding Izuku back, they were fueling a dark fire of vengeance. They looked at the building for some time, when Izuku moved first.
"Lets go inside." said Izuku, entering the building. Maki nodded and they entered the building.
Izuku took the leading position and headed towards the stairs. 3 floors later, curses decided to show up. Before these creatures could even move, Maki sliced half of them into pieces, while Izuku absorbed the other half. The higher they went, the stronger curses became. But they were no match for them. They were going upstairs for some time, when they finally reach the top floors of the building. That's when Maki noticed something... A trace of dried blood. She followed the trail with her eyes and tensed when it gone behind the corner. When she wanted to investigate, she suddenly heard a quite gasp. Maki looked behind and saw how Izuku was staring at the trial, his eyes widened, pupils narrowed and he was breathing heavily.
"Is... Something wrong?" Maki asked, now being really concerned for her partner's mental health.
"I-im okay." answered Izuku and shook his fears away. "Lets follow the trial, i have a business to attend."
"Okay..?" replied Maki and quickly followed Izuku with naginata at the ready.
They followed the trace, banishing any curse they stumble across. The trace was short and they fastly reached their destination. The sight Maki was exposed to would make her throw up. Izuku, meanwhile, was standing still, shadows were covering his face, his eyes seemed to glow with toxic green light as he unintentionally let out a burst of raw cursed energy. In front of them, leaning against the bloody wall, sat a human skeleton. It's grey clothes, that were kimono in the past, had dry stains of blood and were torn apart, exposing its shattered and sometimes absent ribs. Skeleton's left hand was laying behind our duo, the right hand was squeezing on badly deformed katana. The skeleton's legs were comepletely shattered and scattered across the room. In some places, dried chunks of meat were hanging on the bones, and a lone dried eyeball was hanging out of right eye socket. Maki couldn't look away from this for a while, but she was quickly distracted by a sound of someone falling. She looked on her left and saw Izuku on his knees. His face didn't show any emotions, but Maki could clearly see tears, flowing from his eyes. This was the first time Maki saw Izuku cry. For the past 3 months she thought Izuku was a typical "tough guy" who doesn't show his emotions because he thinks he is cool. Now, seeing him like that, she knew she was wrong.
But this moment didn't last for long. Suddenly, Maki felt a chill going down her spine, when she froze in fear. She didn't dare to move her eyes, but she could hear distorted giggling behind her. But before anything could happen, Izuku immediately stood up and punched whatever was behind Maki with his full force. He shook Maki's fear off and looked into her eyes.
"Pull yourself together, Maki-san. We have a job to do." said Izuku and go off her shoulder. Maki nodded with a serious look and turned towards the curse. That was the most hideous creature she've ever seen. The spirit was a humaniod, it was high, muscular creature. Instead of legs it had horse's hind limbs, it had 4 bird feet instead of arms. It had a round mouth, full of razor-like teeth instead of face and a pair of human eyes in its throat. But Izuku didn't flinch, he looked at the curse he wanted to banish with all his heart. The curse looked at Izuku, recognising its long lost dinner. But something was off, as if he had different aura since their last encounter. Meanwhile Izuku didn't let this creature time to think, he instantly appeared in front of it, which really surprised the curse. With incredible force, Izuku punched the cursed into its face. The curse reacted quickly and at the last moment dodge the attack. The wall behind it collapsed.
When the curse landed, it could hear a quiet whistling sound. Moments later, one of his arms was chopped. While the curse was distracted, Maki appeared in front of it and tried to chop another arm. But this time, the curse was ready. It caught Maki's naginata and punched her in face. Even though Maki survived the hit, her glasses didn't. They were comepletely shattered.
"D-damn it!" yelled Maki, looking around feverishly "This bastard broke my glasses! Where is it?!"
"Maki-san, duck!" yelled Izuku. Maki did what Izuku asked and felt how something swinged above her. She blindly struck forward, but comepletely missed. In Izuku's vision, Maki hit somewhere far from the curse. Izuku didn't let it distract him and he fastly summoned Tiger funeral. Shikigami growled and lunged towards the curse, which really surprised it. With a devastating kick, Tiger funeral launched the curse far away and shortly after it followed the curse. With the provided distraction, Izuku quickly helped Maki to recover. "What's wrong, Maki-san?"
"Ugh. This bastard shattered my glasses!" growled Maki "I can't see curses without them."
Izuku looked at Maki in surprise and fastly shifted his vision. His eyes glowed with cursed energy and he saw abnormally small core of cursed energy. It was as small as pea.
"Now that you've mention it... Why don't you use cursed energy in combat?" asked Izuku, wanting to hear Maki's explanation. Maki looked at him with serious look in the eyes.
"We have job to do, we don't have time to chit-chat." she replied. Izuku agreed with her logic. But he still wanted to help Maki right now.
"I've got an idea. But i need your permission." said Izuku. Maki strangely looked at him, but nodded.
"Ok, what do you want?" she asked.
"Just stand still. This may cause some headache, but im sure you can handle it." answered Izuku and placed his palm on Maki's head. Suddenly, Maki felt a strange feeling, like someone was pouring water inside of her small glass. And immediately after that she felt a strong headache and like something was pushing her guts inside out. This process continued for some time, and when it ended, Maki felt strange. A new, strange yet comfort feeling was warm in her guts. Explanations were not long in coming, Izuku removed his hand from her face and started explaining.
"What i did right now is pushed your cursed energy core's limits by little. You won't be able to use cursed energy like other sorcerers, but at least you will be able to see curses without glasses." explained Izuku and turned towards the enemie's position.
Maki meanwhile, was left absolutely flabbergasted. Something didn't line up. She, who was born with too little amount of cursed energy, not being able to see curses without glasses, can see them now? Maki turned around, and indeed, she could see the curse fighting Tiger Funeral. If she wasn't in a tense situation, Maki would've cried her eyes out. But she forced them to not to and integrated into the fight again. Tiger Funeral melted and returned in Izuku's shadow, catching the curse off guard. That was all Maki needed to pierce through the curse's chest, locking it in place. That was all Izuku needed, he appeared behind the curse in a blur and placed his palms on it. His cursed technique activated immediately, and in the next second, the curse was fully absorbed by Izuku. Our duo let out a relieved sigh.
"It's over..." mumbled Izuku, and after a few seconds of catching a breather, students headed on the last floor. When they arrived, Izuku noticed a familiar wooden locker. He quickly opened it and as expected, there was a little wooden box in it.
"Looks like our mission is a total success." said Maki. Her back slouched from all this stress. "Finally! I wanna go home now."
"I completely agree with you." Izuku nodded while putting the finger away in his pocket. "But first... I want to do something."
He returned to the place where they found Ishi's body. Izuku used 10 shadows technique and stored the remainings of Ishi inside his shadow.
"Who is this guy anyway?" asked Maki. Now, that the danger has passed, she was very curious. "I can say he was really close to you."
"You're right, Maki-san. This was my mentor, and my uncle. His name is Ishi Irogane." answered Izuku, a single tear dropped from his eye. "When my parents died, he took me under his wing, taught me everything, told stories... He did many things. I'm forever grateful for his kindness. When he died, I was devastated. From that time, i promised myself to become even stronger. So one day i can become strong enough to ensure no one will experience the same fate."
While Izuku was pouring his heart out, Maki was listening. Even though she didn't experience the loss of the one she loves, she kinda... understands him more. His motivation ignited a spark inside her, it motivated her to become stronger and fulfill her dream evern more. While they were walking to the train station, Maki shared her past and current struggles with Zenin clan. Izuku listened closely, sometimes saying words of comfort. After this exchange of backstories, Maki asked him one final question.
"So... I noticed one small thing. You used a technique that's really valued in Zenin clan. I don't recall you being a member of the clan... So how'd you get it?"
"... I not sure how to explain it to you... I will do it eventually."
"Pheh, fine then, keep your little secrets."
Their conversation slowly faded into the background. They made it to the train station and headed back to Jujutsu high...

Chapter Text
The sun was shining bright above the sky. Birds were singing, various creatures roamed everywhere. A calm sight for any other human being, but not for aged lady named Saito. In the past few days, her daughter was feeling unwell. First, it started from a strange heaviness in the shoulders, now, her daughter can't sleep well. They walked for some time before they arrived to their destination. A mansion appeared in their sight, it was an imposing structure, standing amidst a sprawling, secluded compound surrounded by thick, ancient trees that seem to shield it from the outside world. The mansion itself is built in traditional Japanese style, its wooden beams dark and weathered, exuding an air of quiet dominance. Its sloping tiled roofs stretch high, crowned by ornate eaves that cast long, creeping shadows over the well-manicured courtyards below. Upon entering the compound, they walk down a stone path, flanked by moss-covered lanterns and lined with perfectly raked gravel gardens, giving the space a meditative, almost spiritual aura. The air is filled with the faint rustle of bamboo and the distant sound of running water, hinting at a nearby stream that winds its way through the grounds.
They slowly entered the mansion, Saito's daughter was nervous of the building in front of them. When they entered, they slowly walked to the room in front of the entrance. Upon entering the room, three slogans, hanging on the wall, immediately caught their eyes. Every slogan had a wrighting on it. The first slogan was: "Love for the strong", second was: "Punishment for the weak", and the third was: "Death for the fools".
"Mom... That's enough, let's go home..." whispered Saito's daughter, also known as Saiko.
"Everything will be okay honey, just wait a little bit longer." replied Saito, looking at her daughter with worried look in the eyes.
"I don't know..." said Saiko, but quickly fell silent when the door behind them slid-open. The duo of mother and daughter looked behind and saw a man.
He was a tall, slim, and muscular man with long black hair partially tied up in a man bun while the rest drapes down his back. He has thin black eyes and bangs that occasionally cover the left eye. His earlobes are large enough to fit fairly large circular earrings. He was dressed in black kimono, it had a minimalistic design of green rectangles with golden lines on his front and back, black baggy pants and white socks. He slowly went around two women and sat on an elevation in the floor, propping his head up with his fist.
"So-o. You assume that your daughter is possessed by a ghost?" spoke the man, lookeng at Saito. "Did i get this right, Sato?"
"Yes- no- uh..." stuttered Saito, looking at her daughter, and smiled nervously. "I'm sorry, but my name is Saito..."
"No, from now on you will be Sato." the man waved off her correction, lifting his hand in front and spreading fingers. "Since I say so, it will be better this way."
An awkward silence fell. Saiko whispered to her mother, feeling even more nervous.
"Mom, lets go already..." she said.
"Well, how can we leave? You've stopped sleeping normally at all." replied Saito.
"But why we have go to a charlatan?" started arguing Saiko, but was interrupted by the man.
"You constantly feel someone's gaze, it seems to pierce. And something is constantly pressing on your shoulders." calmy spoke the man, staring somewhere past Saiko. It was invisible to the ladies, but the man saw it just fine. A blue-ish creature clung to Saiko. It had a long tail with red eye at the end, six arms, two were holding her neck, two were holding her arms and other two were rubbing her thighs. It had a big mouth, which was stretched in perverted smile, and many eyes. "And sometimes you can't breathe at all. At the same time, you often see dreams about being raped..."
"H-how do you know..?" Saiko asked in a strangled voice. But the man didn't bother to answer. He sat up straight and reacher to Saiko.
"Stand still." said the man. The curse that was sitting on Saiko suddenly stretched out and floated towards the man's hand, groaning in pain. A few seconds later, it was turned in a yellow ball. Saiko suddenly felt a relief, like the weight she was carrying on shoulders vanished. She shrugged her shoulders.
"What? No way... I feel much better!" exclaimed Saiko, a smile touched her face and Saito was happy that her daughter is better.
"I don't even know how to thank you." said Saito in relief while constantly bowing to the man in front.
"It's not a big deal. Anyone can get into trouble." answered the man, waving at the ladies. "And I will always be happy to help."
"Well, what did I tell you? He is as merciful as Buddha himself." said Saito to her daughter with a warm smile. After their session, duo of mother and daughter left the mansion's territory.
"Buddha, you say... Wow, what a smart woman she is." whispered the man while looking after them. When they left his sight, his expression distorted into the one of disgust and hatred with a shitty smile. "Especially for a monkey who can't use their powers."
"Sir, your facade broke." said a woman who just appeared alongside the man. The man's face quickly swapped to his neutral state. "All the heads have gathered, they are in the conference room."
The man nodded, grabbed an antiseptic under his Kimono and started spraying his hands.
"Sir, what are you doing..?" the woman asked.
"I'm disinfecting myself." answered the man. "I don't want my hands to smell like monkeys."
With that being said, the man headed deeper into his mansion, accompanied by his asisstant.
"It's so nice, I can't even remember the last time we all got together." exhaled the man with a relaxed smile. "Oh right! We have to take a photo on occasion. Where's the camera?"
"He it is." answered the woman, holding the camera. The man quickly took some selfies with her. When they finished, they continued their path.
"The long-awaited hour has come, my dears! We will put an end to the monkey era." happily said the man while entering the conference room. "We will build a paradise for sorcerers with our own hands... Well, let's start loudly. Let's visit Jujutsu High, the pinnacle of the sorcerer's world, and destroy it."
Meanwhile in Jujutsu high.
Toge, Panda, Maki, Yuta and Izuku were heading to their dorms and nothing foreshadowed trouble. Interesting thing was that Maki didn't wear her glasses this time, after she and Izuku comepleted their mission, she didn't need them anymore. Everyone was surprised after she told them, but they quickly congratulated Maki and said their thanks to Izuku. Back to the present, Yuta suddenly felt a chill coming down his spine. Something tells him that something bad will happen soon. He turned around, trying to guess why he has this feeling all of a sudden.
"What's up, Yuta?" asked Panda.
"Nothing, I just... feel like something's off." answered Yuta, looking into nowhere.
"It seemed to you/ Its just your imagination/ Tuna." answered Maki, Panda and Toge at the same time, while Izuku remained silent. He could relate to Yuta, something clearly was off.
"What?" asked Yuta confusedly, shortly after he realised his classmates were already far ahead of him. He quickly caught up with them. "Guys, wait a minute!"
"Yuta, you hardly feel any curses." said Panda jokingly.
"Rika would knock anyone's feelings out if she was always around." noted Maki.
While they were leaving the school building, Gojo Satoru and Jujutsu high principal, Masamichi Yaga, were watching them through the window.
"We still didn't find any trace of Geto." said Yaga. While Midoriya and Maki were doing their mission, Inumaki and Yuta were attacked by a no ordinary curse. Everything would be fine, but this curse was too coordinated. Gojo suspected that someone he once knew must've been behind this. "Maybe it just seemed like it?"
"Principal, unfortunately I couldn't be wrong." seriously said Gojo. "I personally went to the scene of the incident. You know i can't confuse the traces of Suguru's curse with anything"
"Suguru... Shit!" mumbled Principal to himself. Suddenly, he and Gojo felt familiar trace of cursed energy, approaching their school. "I mentioned it and it immediately came up! Gather everyone present at the grade above the first at the entrance right now!"
With that, Yaga hurried to gather everyone, while Gojo slowly went the other way. Outside, five first-years looked up in the sky.
"Wow, even a broken clock shows the right time once a year." said Maki, taking her naginata out of its case.
"Yuta was right for once." agreed Panda.
"Salmon." said Toge.
Izuku didn't comment, deciding to observe the danger above. A strange looking bird was descending from the sky, it was white, with four wings. It was like 2 floored building. It landed succesfully, a man in black landed alongside.
"He doesn't look like he's from here." said Maki, holding her weapon tight, Panda put his gloves on and Toge took off his scarf.
"I don't recognise that curse." said Izuku, ready to summon his shikigami.
"Whoa, what a big bird." said Yuta in awe.
"And everything here is the same as before..." said the man, looking at the school, while two people were getting out of the bird's beak.
"Ew... Geto-sama, are you sure we still in Tokyo?" groaned a young brown-haired lady that was wearing beige coat and black school skirt. "Its like in a village here."
"Nanako, don't be rude." said another young lady with dark brown hair and the same school outfit, blue this time.
"Wha-at? Mimiko, you think so too, don't you?" replied Nanako.
"Alright, that's it! Get out of there!" interrupted them muscular blonde man, he wasn't wearing a shirt and has hearts painted on his nipples (why..?).
"Listen, aren't you cold?" sarcastically replied Nanako.
"And who are these?" asked Mimiko, looking at the first-years in front of them.
"Waah! There's a Panda!" shouted Nanako, pointing at Panda. "So cute!!!"
"Who are you yourselves? We don't need strangers here." said Panda. "Midoriya said like that."
"I didn't say anything..." Izuku strangely looked at Panda.
"Kelp." said Toge and hushed on Izuku, his look said 'don't ruin it!'
"Get out of here before you regret it. Don't make Midoriya angry." half jokingly, half serious said Maki. Panda and Toge nodded in agreement.
"What..?" Izuku shifted his gaze from Panda to Maki, while Yuta was really confused. But it didn't make him lose his cautiousness, his arms automatically moved to grab something.
Izuku suppressed his confusion and shifted his gaze on the man who's known as Suguru Geto. Izuku took him by the wrists, which surprised his classmates, Geto and his follower.
"Who are you?" asked Izuku with ice in his voice, his eyes were staring into Geto's soul. Izuku adjusted his position so he could stand in front of Yuta. "Answer."
Geto quickly shook surprise off, and put on a friendly smile.
"Pleasure to meet you, Midoriya." said Geto, tearing his hands from Izuku's grip. Izuku was surprised that this man knows him, but he didn't show it, still looking at Geto carefully. "My name is Suguru Geto, I've heard a lot about you and Yuta. Endowed with such amazing power."
He stood in front of them, while Maki, Toge and Panda froze in shock. Get opened his left eye and tilted his head slightly.
"Listen, I believe that great power should be used for great purposes. Doesn't anything bother you two in this world? We work for the benefit of ordinary people, but at the same time we are forced to live forever in the shadows."
"And what are you getting at?" asked Izuku, frowning a little.
"You see, the weak actually rule the strong." answered Geto, going behind them. "I assure you it's fake."
He then quickly grabbed Yuta and Izuku in side hug. Well, only Yuta, because Izuku evaded this gesture of kindness. You can notice Geto's eye twitching a little, but no one noticed it as he continued his speech.
"My heart bleeds. We, the kings of nature, refuse to move forward on the path of evolution." continued Geto, with a sad expression. "Nonsense! This is a sign that it's time to reconsider the strategy for human survival! And in this matter I cannot do without your help."
"And... how can we exactly help you..?" carefully asked Yuta
"We simply have to kill every non-sorcerers-" Geto was suddenly interrupted by a strong kick that landed on the back of his head. Geto screamed in surprise and pain and was launched towards his followers, Nanako and Mimiko worriedly started to inspect him.
"I think we've talked long enough." coldly said Izuku, now seeing Geto comepletely as a threat. Tiger Funeral and Divine dogs appeared behind him. "I won't let you brainwash my friends here, and especially take lives of innocent."
Geto rubbed his head, feeling something warm under his hand. He positioned his hand before his eyes and saw that it was covered in blood.
"How fascinating... Midoriya lives up to his riputation, i have to keep an eye on him." thought Geto to himself, but he was snapped out of his thoughts by a familiar voice.
"Do me a favor, don't whisper your madness to my students." said Gojo, looking in Geto's eyes, behind white-haired teacher gathered other sorcerers, including Yaga. They stared for eachothe for a minute, but then Geto smiled.
"Satoru! Howdy!" greeted him Geto in a too cloying voice. Then he dangerously smirked. "I heard that this year Jujutsu high has only gems, now everything's clear. You've gathered them here."
Geto ran his eyes over them.
"Two special grade sorcerers, mutated cursed corpse, descendant of the spellcasters and of course..." his eyes stopped on Maki. "Disgrace of Zenin clan."
Maki's eyes widened for an instant, but fastly distorted in anger.
"You freak!" Maki exclaimed and pointed her Naginata towards Geto.
"You better watch your language, there is no place for despicable monkeys in my world." replied Geto, looking at Maki with narrowed eyes. "Am i right, Yuta?"
"Sorry, I don't quite understand what you're talking about..." said Yuta. His head was looking down, hair closed his eyes. He lifted his head and looked at Geto with the mix of anger and determination. "But I will never help someone who insults my friends."
Geto looked at Yuta, sighed in dissapointment and put a guilty expression on his face.
"My fault, I didn't mean to upset you at all." he apologized.
"Then why the hell did you come here?" said Gojo, standing in between Geto and his students.
"To declare war on everyone." answered Geto, grinning evilly. Then he turned his head towards every sorcerer that gathered. "Dear listeners and onlookers, clear your ears and listen carefully to my words."
Every sorcerer Gojo gathered here tensed, but were listening carefully while Geto started his speech.
"On December 24th of this year, as soon as the sun sets on the horizon, we will begin the parade of one hundred demons. Everything will happen in the crucible of curses - in Tokyo, Shinjuku, and on the holy land of sorcerers - Kyoto. There and there we will release thousands of curses, they will be given only one order - to cut all living things" Geto explained with closed eyes and arms spread apart "If you don't want to see hellish landscapes, I advise you to stop us yourself... Let's curse each other to our hearts' content!"
A heavy silence fell, while every sorcerer processed what Geto just said. That is, until Nanako screamed in comeplete despair.
"Geto-sama! Cafe will close soon!" she shouted, getting Geto's attention this way.
"What? Is it that late already?" replied Geto in feigned surprise. He then turned back at Gojo "Well, sorry Satoru. My girls are all pressing, they want to try something new. So I guess I'll take my leave. I don't understand what attracts you to this monkey hole..."
"And you thought we will just let you go that easy?" spoke Gojo. Geto stopped and dangerously smiled.
"I don't recommend interfering." said Geto. Suddenly, in front of him a big curse emerged from dark mist. It was grey, in dark-purple baggy pants, it had two muscular hands and big belly. A chain made of heads adorned its neck. It had one single eye that seemed to pop out of its head. It gave out a battle cry, ready to rip and tear. "Because your lovely students are at my fingertips."
Gojo didn't need to look around to know that his students were surrounded by curses. Geto was ready to retreat, when he felt something behind. When curse manipulator turned back, he was greeted with an orange fist approaching his face. A black substance blocked the hit, but the air pressure was strong enough to send the bird curse and him away. He quickly grabbed onto the curse foot and it jumpred into the sky.
"Gosh that was close... Well then, my friends, see you later!" cheerfully said Geto, but was interrupted with a screech. When he looked in the direction of screech, he saw Nue, rapidly approaching him.
Shikigami crashed into the curse, sending electricity waves through its body, the curse groaned in pain. When Nue wanted to attack again, It was sent away by another flying curse. That was enough for the curse so it could fly away. Meanwhile on the ground, the army of curses was fastly defeated. Izuku took the cyclops and consumed it fast enough, while his classmates, other sorcerers and Gojo dealt with weaker curses. Gojo looked in the sky, following Geto with his eyes, while he was lost in thoughts...

Chapter Text
Today was just another peacefull day in Jujutsu high. Golden rays of the glorious sunshine setting down such an orange light. The wind was howling and the animals were preparing for the upcoming night. Loud sounds of wood hitting wood were heard in the air. Our first-years were practicing, Yuta was working on his dodging skills while Toge was launching water bags at him, Izuku and Panda were brawling on the ground, and Maki was exchanging blows with Tiger Funeral. While Maki was hitting from every direction with her wooden staff, Tiger Funeral was parrying with wooden katana without a sweat. Maki was exhausted from so much time of fighting, she wasn't able to properly block shikigami's attack, and was quickly knocked down. Tiger funeral growled in excitement and scratched something on the ground. It was a score, how many fights Maki or shikigami won. Tiger funeral had 34 points, while Maki had 26.
"Alright gang, the time's up!" suddenly shouted Gojo, clapping his hands. "You're free to go!"
"Uughh... Finally..." groaned Maki, every muscle in her body was in severe pain.
"Sa-almon..." agreed Toge, he fell on his back from exhaustion.
"Oof, i can't feel my legs..." groaned Yuta, taking a breather.
"Great job today friends!" encouraged his friends Panda, sweeping dirt off his furr. "Lets head back home."
"Of course, after i will feel my legs just enough so i can stand up..." said Maki, lifting her hand for a moment, but it fell back shortly after.
Izuku meanwhile recovered very fast. When you can use reverse curse technique, you can recover from fatigue really fast. When he looked back, he saw the conditions his classmates were in, a guilty expression touched his face. He really wanted to help them right now, but how..? Suddenly, a light bulb ignited above his head. He did that all the time after Ishi passed away, he still does that sometimes. With determination in his eyes, he vanished in a blur.
Dorms, kitchen.
After Izuku freshed himself, he immediately headed towards the kitchen. He quickly opened the fridge, analyzing everything they got. Some vegetables... Chicken... Porkchop... Strawberries... Lemons... Izuku nodded, searched the drawers, he found some spices, sugar, salt, wheat... Yeah, that will do. Izuku let out a grin, found an apron, put it on and took everything he could find out. He poured some water into the pan and placed it on the stove. Shortly after, sounds of knive hitting a board, whistling kettle, boiling water and sizzling filled the kitchen, tasty scent of fried porkchop and fresh vegetables filled the air...
1 hour later, outside.
"Man... I'm starving..." groaned Yuta, holding his tummy. "When is the dinner..?"
"The dinner will be ready after an hour." answered Panda, he was glowing with energy.
"Damn it... I don't think i can wait that long..." said Maki, somehow dragging her body despite the fatigue.
"Salmon..." agreed Toge, you can hear his stomach growling like a beast.
"Aww come on guys, why so negative?" cheered Panda, smiling from ear to ear (without gloating btw) "I know you can wait a little. We're sorceres after all-"
Panda suddenly stopped, when a godly scent just hit his nose. He sniffed harder, clearly enjoying the scent. Other young sorcerers sensed the scent in the air, their empty stomachs made it smell even tastier.
"What is that scent?" asked Yuta no one. "Smells so good!"
"Salmon salmon!" Toge nodded intensely. He followed the cartoony trial of white steam, that was coming out of their dorms. He fastly pointed towards their dorms. "Salmon roe!"
"Yeah, it sure smells delicious." agreed Maki. "Lets head inside!"
With this new power, Maki, Toge, Panda and Yuta entered the dorms. What they saw inside shocked them to the core. A real buffet appeared before them, steaming pots with Soba and Miso soup, three bowls of salad, plates with chicken teriyaki, 4 steamin bowls of katsudon, giant bowl of pearl-white rice, pot with Oyakodon, many variants of sushi and a big tea kettle. Just looking at it for a second made everyone drool, even Panda. Before they could process what was standing in front of them, footsteps could be heard. Everyone looked in that direction, and saw Izuku. He was holding a 4 litres jar with homemade strawberry lemonade. He didn't seem to notice them, casually walking to the table. When he placed the jar on the table, he turned his head towards the entrance and immediately froze like a deer in the headlights, his eyes fully widened and his mouth opened up a little. All his classmates were staring at him, their intense look could burn a hole in him. An awkward silence fell, as Izuku's face slowly turned red.
"D-did you make all that..?" spoke Maki first, still looking at Izuku and pointing at the food.
"Uhm- uh- well- uh- you see-" stuttered Izuku. After a few seconds of coming up with answer, he gave up and sighed. "Uhhh... Surprise?"
But he was greeted with silence. Slowly, Maki took her first step towards him, with each step Izuku got more nervous. When Maki stopped, she grabbed his shoulder, her hair threw shadows on his eyes.
"Midoriya..." started Maki in a low tone. Izuku flinched from her voice... But when she met his gaze... Izuku could see a big track of tears, pouring from her eyes, which gave them a bright shine. "Our hero..! *Sniff* I would've died of hunger by now!"
With that being said, Maki quickly embraced him, while comically large tears of happiness were pouring from her eyes. That comepletely broke Izuku, as his face became purple.
"I- i- i- i-" muttered Izuku, too nervous to answer the hug.
"Uhhh... Maki?" finally spoke Panda after he finished staring at food. But he had a shitty grin. "I think you broke him."
"Huh?!" exhaled Maki in surprise. Her brain just caught up with her actions, and Make quickly let go off Izuku, while her face turned red. "I-it's not what it Looks like!!! You saw nothing!"
While Maki was beating Panda up, Izuku rebooted his brain, and drew everyones attention with a cough.
"Kh-khm." everyone looked at Izuku again, his eyes narrowed, but a slight smile can be seen on his face (he was still blushing intensely) "Now, that we're finished here... Shall we dig in?"
That line found a response in everyone as they almost instantly sat down at the table, even Panda joined despite that he didn't need to eat.
"Itadakimasu!" everyone said at once and impatiently (except Izuku and Inumaki, they started slowly.) started devouring.
"Man, *munch munch* thish porkshop ish sho delishious!" commented Yuta, while munching on his katsudon.
"Salmon!" agreed Izumaki, while eating some Miso soup.
"I really like the chicken!" said Panda, while gulping on chicken.
"These sushi were made in heaven..!" said Maki, placing sushi in her mouth with chopsticks and drinking the lemonade. "And this lemonade is so delicious!"
"Heh, i'm glad you like it..." embarrassedly said Izuku, scratching the back of his head. He really enjoyed his Katsudon.
After everyone stopped commenting the food, they started talking about nothing practicular. That was, until the door opened with a loud bang.
"Good evening gang!" cheerfully said Gojo, he was holding plastic bags in his hands. "I know you're tired, so I've brought some snacks to cheer you-"
He quickly fell silent when he noticed a huge amount of food on the table and his students happily eating all that. Panda noticed him first and waved at him.
"Oh hey Gojo sensei! Come sit with us, Izuku cooked a great dinner for us!"
"Now slow down here Panda. You say that Midoriya, serious-about-everything guy, just cooked you a dinner???" Asked Gojo in disbelief, his jaw dropped with the bags of chips and soda he carried.
"Are you going to eat or no?" simply asked Izuku. He didn't want to spend his nerves right now.
"Well, if you insist..." answered Gojo, and quickly found his place at the table, eating like a total pig. But no one was minding that, they were happy just to sit here and talk.
A few hours passed, everyone long finished their dinner and were just having a nice conversation with Gojo being... Gojo. The were sitting like that for a while untill everyone grew tired. Everyone called it a day and with full tummies and happy smiles they went to their rooms and happily fell into the dream world...

Chapter Text
Jujutsu High, Meeting room.
"Suguru Geto, a special grade sorcerer with the gift of creating vengeful spirits. He is able to absorb curses that arise naturally and controll them." read out the man in business suit and with black hair. " Apparently he founded his sect to collect curses from believers. He probably had some stock of them before. It should be noted that in recent years the number of curses has sharply decreased. I'm afraid that he may well have two thousand curses."
"Even if so, most of them are small fry, weaker than level 2." noted Yaga Masamichi. "And he could hardly have gathered more than fifty sorcerers."
"And this is exactly what scares me." said Gojo, leaning on the wall and staring into nowhere. "I don't believe that he would get involved in a hopeless fight."
"Damn it... Request help from all graduates of the three great families and the Aino society of sorcerers!" Masamichi broke down while giving orders at the same time. "Everyone will go to war, the time has come to drive out the curses of Geto, to destroy them once and for all!"
...
"...That's probably something that this jock principal is talking about." mimicked our principal Geto, sitting somewhere in his mansion. All his allies gathered around him and silently payed attention. "If we got together with them seriously, then the chances of winning would be about thirty... But if society interferes, then it will not reach twenty... However, I know how to achieve success with a probability of ninety-nine percent and we are quite capable of it."
He spread his arms, explaining the plan.
"We need to kill Yuta Okkotsu and take the special level spirit Rika Orimoto. How wonderful that these fools still believe in my school bluff. What difference does it make whether she has an owner or not, I just need to kill him, and then I can easily absorb any curse. They think that the chances of victory are high, and therefore they will not drag Okkotsu into battle, because one mistake and everyone will die - both their own and the enemy. We are holding a parade only so that Okkotsu will be left all alone. But..."
Geto's expression darkened. "There's another factor now... Midoriya." The room tensed at the mention of Izuku. Even with the lack of information on him, the whispers surrounding this sorcerer had reached every corner of the jujutsu world. "We don't know the extent of his abilities, but one thing is clear: he's dangerous. Another special grade. His strength alone makes him a problem, and from what i've experienced back at Jujutsu high, he is capable of competing with me."
Geto’s fingers tapped rhythmically against the table. "If Midoriya is with Okkotsu, they won't be easy to isolate. We can't afford to underestimate him. I think... I’ll send my strongest spirits after him. They’ll be more than enough to keep him occupied while I deal with Yuta. Let them distract him, wear him down. Midoriya may be powerful, but even he has his limits... With Midoriya distracted, I can isolate Okkotsu. That’s when I strike. With him out of the way, taking Rika becomes much more feasible..."
"Well then, let's raise the curtain on a new era!" thought Geto to himself, while approaching Jujutsu high.
December 24th. The promised night of the curses parade. Jujutsu High.
"Oh boy... Things are going crazy on these days." mumbled Yuta to himself, rocking on a chair in an empty classroom.
Suddenly, the door opened, startling Yuta for a moment. But when he saw who entered, he quickly relaxed.
"Oh, hello!" greeted Izuku Yuta.
"Why are you sitting here?" asked Izuku, heading to the nearest chair. "We don't have any classes this week."
"I know, just... I'm feeling kinda calm here." answered Yuta. "Nobody's around in the dorms..."
"Well, yes, the second-yeas have been hanging out in Kyoto for a long time now." said Izuku, sitting next to Yuta. "Toge and the others are helping out in Shinjuku. Panda’s probably with them—he’s the principal’s favorite, after all."
"Oooh..." Yuta nodded, a faint smile crossing his face. They lapsed into a comfortable silence.
"Huh. Fancy meeting you both here." the boys looked into the doorway, seeing Maki standing there. "What are you doing here? We don't have any classes today."
"I just don't have anything to do..." Izuku said, leaning back in his chair with his arms behind his head.
"Pretty much the same..." Yuta added, rubbing the back of his neck with an awkward smile.
Maki walked over and perched on the desk near them, her gaze shifting between the two. She noticed Yuta’s curiosity, but Izuku’s expression remained unreadable. “Ask already. I know you’re wondering why I was called a disgrace.”
"Huh?!" Yuta was caught off guard. But Izuku didn't really care, but he was curious too. "N-no! Uh- well-... yeah..." Yuta quickly gave up on denying it. Maki let out a little sigh of dissappointment.
"Well... I'm from Zenin clan, one of the three great sorcerers' clans." said Maki, looking somewhere else. She then asked a question. "Tell me, do you know what no one can become a sorcerer without?"
"Huh...? Well, I'm not sure..." replied Yuta, rubbing his jaw, trying to find an answer. But Izuku answered almost instantly.
"Without the ability to see cursed spirits." Izuku interjected, his eyes narrowing slightly. “Even normal people can sometimes see them when they’re close to death or under extreme conditions.”
“Exactly,” Maki nodded. “I couldn’t even see their silhouettes without these stupid glasses... until that mission.” She turned her gaze on Izuku. “How did you do it, Midoriya? How did you give me the ability to see curses?”
Izuku stared at her and Yuta, contemplating whether to reveal his secret or not. With a sigh, he decided to reveal his ability. Maki and Yuta were all ears.
"Well, its kinda complicated... I called my cursed technique "Cursed Transfer"- " started explaining Izuku, but he was then interrupted by Maki.
"Wait a minute, what do you mean by that?" asked Maki in genuine confusion. "Isn't your technique, like, 10 shadows or something? I mean, i only saw members of Zenin clan use this technique..."
“I was getting to that,” Izuku said with a slight frown of annoyance. He cleared his throat before continuing. “Like I said, my real technique is called Cursed Transfer. I can manipulate cursed energy inside other people’s bodies. I can take it, give it, and transfer it however I want. The interesting part is that I can temporarily copy and permanently take cursed techniques. But it requires a certain level of knowledge about the technique for me to do that.”
He glanced at Maki, catching the question forming in her mind. “And before you ask, Maki—no, I’m not from the Zenin clan.”
Maki coughed, startled. It was as if he’d read her mind, though that wasn’t important right now. She blinked in disbelief.
“Wait... so you’re not Zenin? And you took the 10 Shadows Technique?” Maki’s voice wavered between confusion and disbelief
"Basically that." said Izuku, shrugging his shoulders.
"Well, thats kind of revelation..." quietly said Maki, but then she let out a wide grin. "But that's even better! You don't want to be there. The food there is lousy, the rooms are cramped, and there's a strange old man wandering around everywhere. It's not a home, it's a torture chamber!"
Yuta saw Maki in the new light. Now every rude thing she said to him in the past kinda made sense. He looked at her and asked "Listen Maki, why didn't you just give up on this then?"
Maki wasn't offended and let out a cheeky grin "Because I have a bad character! Even tho i can see curses, I'll return home a first-class sorcerer!" she tilted her head to the side, letting out a chuckle "Let all my relatives bite their elbows when they see me! Well, and then I'll destroy this clan from the inside!"
Izuku suddenly snorted in joy, which drawed Maki's attention to him immediately.
"What's so funny, bush head?!" asked Maki with playful anger.
"N-nothing." Izuku pulled himself together quickly, but his smile refused to go off his face. "I'm just imagining their reaction, and its really funny! You're really strong, so i believe you can manage to do that."
Maki looked at Izuku with a strange look. Suddenly, memories of her early ages flooded her head, how the elders in clan frowned her, her mother telling she didn't want to give birth to her. But she quickly blew these memories away.
"If you'd ever need help, me and Yuta will be here!" said Izuku.
"Yeah! Lets destroy these Zenin guys, or something like that..!" Yuta agreed, letting out a little chuckle.
"Fool, I need to do this myself." said Maki, without any real anger. She stood up and headed away. "I'll go to my place."
"Okay, see you later!" said Yuta, Izuku just shook his hand. Maki closed the door and stood there for a minute.
"Is he completely brainless? I don't need to admit it myself." said Maki, as a slight blush appeared on her face.
"Emerge from darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure..." meanwhile, Geto whispered to himself, standing on the rooftop of one building in the campus and grinning widely. After he finished, a gooes liquid started to emerge in the sky, covering the whole campus in a few seconds.
This sudden surge of cursed energy was enough for three students to sense.
"There's a curtain around school?" asked Yuta himself. "But who lifted the veil? Why?"
"I don't like it..." growled Izuku, Divine dogs appeared behind him and started sniffing the air, trying to find the intruder. "Yuta, stay here. I will investigate."
Meanwhile in Shinjuku.
Hundreds of cursed spirits were flying in the sky and walking on the streets. Many looked like flies, some looked like cat fishes, there was too much of them to describe.
"Listen, try as much as possible not to destroy buildings and streets!" ordered Yaga Masamichi to sorcerers behind him. "There could still be some ordinary people left here. Whoever you find, take them away! Do you hear me, Satoru?!"
Gojo meanwhile stood aside, observing spirits. "There is a very problematic guy there..." he answered.
Even tho no one could see him, there was a dark-skinned man with sun glasses, standing on the roof, too far away for a human eye to catch him. Near him stood a beautiful woman with pink hair.
"So that's it, so it was about him." said the man, also known as Miguel Oduol.
"Yes, we'll deal with the rest ourselves." said the woman, also known as Manami Suda. "I already warned you."
"I understand, we just need to hold them." answered Miguel. "Lets have some fun before Geto finishes his business."
Back at Jujutsu High...
Izuku was running towards the source of the massive amount of cursed energy, Divine dogs were just a little ahead. Maki as already way ahead of him, and he knew she wouldn't hold Geto for long. Yes, he knew that Geto attacked the college, he won't mistake this flow of cursed energy. But before he could catch up with Maki, a wall suddenly collapsed and countless curses flooded him like a Tsunami.
"Shit!" Izuku swore as he started to butcher curses left and right.
Izuku made a hand sign, and his shadow started to boil. Moments later, a massive elephant crashed down from the sky, squashing many curses under its feet and leaving cracks in the ground. It let out a war cry and a massive stream of water was shot out of its nose. This stream was very strong, tearing numerous curses in the line. But there was too many of them. They quickly regained the impulse and lunged towards Izuku with full force, forcing him to retreat. Dozens of spirits suddenly appeared above Izuku. They flew right into him, trying to bite Izuku, but he was too fast as he dodged every single attack. Izuku spread his fingers on his left arm, azure-green dots formed on his finger tips. Channeling his energy, he swung his arm with incredible force, and in an instant, the curses exploded into a shower of fragments. But that wasn't all, shortly after a high spirit that looked like distorted tree attacked him behind. Izuku leaned towards, barely dodging this surprise attack, the curse sliced some hair from his head.
"That was close!" thought Izuku to himself, as he instantly appeared behind the curse. He placed his palms on it, and in an instant the curse was sucked into him with distorted cries of pain.
Then he heard wavey scream in the sky. Izuku looked up and saw a curse that looked like pelican, but with four wings. But before it could approach, the curse was attacked by Nue, which sent electricity through its body. The curse growled in pain, but it won't die easily! Shortly after it was engaged into the sky battle with nue, they hit eachother with claws, wings and own bodies. While Nue was dealing with the curse, Izuku summoned Tiger funeral, and when it fully emerged, it let out a loud screech that shook the ground and made some curses flinch. After that, Tiger funeral took a katana from Izuku's shadow and started slicing the curses like crazy.
"And they still won't end." thought Izuku, while grabing heads of nearby curses, smahing them into eachother and turning their heads into puree. Some little spirits that looked like goblins tried to surround him, but they were quickly dealt with by Rabbit escape running around. Izuku was too focused on the spirits in front of him to notice falling boulder behind him. But they were blasted away by Max elephant. "God damn it, why there's so many of them!?"
But he didn't have time for internal monologues, as another wave of curses lunged towards him from the wall they destroyed.
"Oh no, we're surrounded!" Izuku tensely thought as he started to swing his hands rapidly, sending sharp waves of compressed air charged with cursed energy into the crowds of curses. "I'm sorry Maki, but you have to hang in there for a bit!"
...
Meanwhile in the other section of the campus, Maki was standing in front of Geto, holding her naginata in defensive position.
"Oh, you're here too..." said Geto, awkwardly rubbing his neck and looking somewhere else.
"What, you got a problem with that?" replied Maki and pointed her weapon towards Geto "Better explain what the hell you're doing here."
"Sorry, but I don't have time to talk to a monkey." answered Geto, summoning three red curses that resembled centipedes.
Again in Shinjuku.
"Gojo! I'm here with the news!" shouted a man in Business suit and black hair, also known as Kiyotaka Ijichi. But when he saw Gojo that was thinking about something, he asked. "Is something wrong?"
"It's just that..." Gojo answered vaguely, while looking for someone. "Why is this show-off nowhere to be seen? Maybe he's in Kyoto? But then they would have contacted us somehow..."
Gojo then finally paid attention and looked at Ijichi.
"Everything's ok, what did you want?" Gojo asked.
"I understand that now is not the right time, but it is probably better to do it right away. In general, I am about what you asked to check Okkotsu..." answered Ijichi and started explaining. What Gojo heard surprised him and he reacted quickly.
"Panda, Toge!" Gojo called them. The said students turned to face him.
"What happene-Whoa!" asked Panda, but was quickly interruped when Gojo grabbed him and Toge by the scruff of the neck.
"Don't ask questions." interrupted him Gojo "I will send you to the college real quick."
"What?!" shouted Panda in surprise. Gojo quickly positioned them and started drawing signs on the ground.
"Looks like Geto is there right now." Gojo said. "I'm sure, probably, well definitely!"
"And in the end?" replied Panda.
"If I'm not mistaken, in the worst case scenario, Maki, Yuta and Midoriya will die. I'll catch up with you as soon as I deal with the foreigner. Please protect them." answered Gojo. He stood up and crossed his finger together. "Stand there to the death."
Toge and Panda looked at each other, and with a nod Gojo locked his arms. In the next instant both Panda and Toge dissappeared and on their places formed cracks.

Chapter Text
Not even a second has passed when Panda and Toge appeared in the sky with a flash. They were high above Jujutsu high, and they instantly noticed a black curtain around the college.
"There's a curtain here! Looks like Satoru weren't mistaken." said Panda as he dived towards the curtain, raising his fists. "I'll tear it apart now and then we will go in a straight line! To the enemy!"
"Pollock roe!" said Toge, agreeing with Panda's plan and dived right behind him.
Meanwhile Geto felt a disturbance in his curtain. He let out a gasp of surprise, but then a dangerous grin appeared on his face.
"Would you look at that. Someone made a hole in my curtain? Things never go as planned." he headed forward, casually passing unconscious Maki, who was laying on the ground in the puddle of her own blood. "It takes them about five minutes to get here. Should ignore them or get rid of them?" he raised his hand and rubbed his jaw with a cheeky grin. "I don't even know!"
But before he could decide, the wall exploded into chunks of boulders and dust, but Geto didn’t flinch. From the cloud, Panda emerged, his eyes glowing a fierce red.
"Broke through all the walls to come here directly?" Geto thought, mildly impressed, as Panda charged in with a powerful hook aimed at his head.
"Very clever." Geto said, dodging effortlessly as Panda's fists whizzed past. Each strike from Panda could leave small craters in the ground, but Geto danced around them with ease.
Panda glanced to the side and caught sight of Maki, gravely injured. "Maki!" he shouted, distracted by worry for his friend. That split second was enough for Geto to land a swift kick to Panda's face, knocking him down.
"Don’t get distracted~" Geto teased, following up with a punch that slammed Panda's face into the ground. A low growl of pain escaped Panda.
"Seriously?! He’s a master of hand-to-hand combat too?" Panda thought in frustration. But he didn’t dwell on it long. Geto jumped to deliver another kick, but Panda recovered quickly, grabbing Geto by the torso and slamming him into the ground with all his might. A massive cloud of dirt and debris erupted from the impact.
Geto shot out of the dust cloud, landing gracefully before immediately rushing back in. The cloud shifted as Panda charged after him, his form now different—more beast-like. His body had transformed into a gorilla shape, fangs protruding from his lower jaw, and his eyes now glowed a deep purple. With a primal roar, Panda lunged at Geto with blinding speed. Geto's eyes widened in slight surprise but remained composed. He dodged every swing, though the sheer force of Panda’s attacks sent gusts of wind that pushed him back. Panda didn’t relent, chasing Geto as blue fire enveloped his fists, each strike aiming to connect. Geto barely dodged another blow, leaping behind a wall just as Panda’s attack shattered the ground where he had stood. Without hesitation, Geto spread his arms, summoning eight worm-like curses that shot towards Panda. Panda crushed them all with a single strike of his palms, the cursed energy exploding into fragments around him. As he dispatched the curses, Geto moved behind him with a sly grin.
"No variety." Geto remarked with a bored tone.
"That’s because it’s a trap." Panda whispered, sensing Geto’s movement. But Geto had already figured it out.
"Drumming beat!"
Panda raised his hand, and Geto summoned another worm curse, which was immediately destroyed by Panda’s palm strike. The force of Panda’s blow sent Geto flying backward, slamming him into the ground. Geto quickly recovered, dodging another of Panda’s attacks, but more worms appeared behind him, trying in vain to stop the relentless beast. Panda smashed through them, his cursed energy surging as two latched onto his shoulders, only to be obliterated by a quick burst of energy from Panda’s body. But as Panda focused on the worms, Geto kicked Maki's naginata into his hand, catching it swiftly before throwing it at Panda. Panda didn’t react in time. The spear pierced through him, and he gasped in pain, collapsing to his knees.
"Looks like you're out of luck." Geto sneered, a cheeky grin spreading across his face.
"Just like you." Panda groaned, the purple glow in his eyes fading.
Panda fell, his massive body hitting the ground with a heavy thud. But in that same moment, Toge appeared. He leaped over Panda, quickly removing his scarf and shouted, "PLUMMET!"
Geto’s eyes widened in genuine surprise as the air around him thickened, becoming impossibly heavy. The ground beneath him cracked as he plummeted with tremendous force, raising a cloud of dust upon impact. Toge dropped to his knees, coughing up blood.
"Toge! Are you okay?" Panda asked, his body shifting back to his regular form as he rushed over to his friend.
"Caviar..." Toge wheezed, clutching his throat, clearly strained from using his cursed speech.
"Yeah, let’s help Maki first!" Panda urged, and the two hurried toward her. The dust began to settle, revealing a massive crater where Geto had fallen. But as they reached Maki, both of them felt an eerie chill creep down their spines. Shaking off the fear, Panda gently cradled Maki’s head.
"Maki! Are you alright? Maki!" Panda asked, his voice filled with concern.
"Mustard," Toge added weakly, echoing the same question.
Maki trembled, barely able to stay conscious. "He..." she whispered, struggling to speak. "He is... still alive..."
Panda and Toge’s eyes widened in shock. Before they could react, a shadow loomed over them. The sound of boulders shifting echoed around them as they froze, fear gripping their bodies. Behind them, Geto was slowly floating up from the crater, countless worm-like curses emerging from the ground below. In the center, a massive bandaged curse with multiple eyes was rising, casting an enormous shadow over them. The ground trembled beneath their feet, a brief earthquake shaking the campus.
"Excellent... Simply superb!" Geto’s voice boomed, filled with twisted joy. "At this moment, I am touched to the very depths of my soul!" Tears of elation formed in his eyes as he grinned maniacally. "You rushed to save Okkotsu, didn’t you? A sorcerer saving a sorcerer, risking his life for him. I adore you, I revere you! A fragment of the world I desire so much has opened before my eyes!"
Meanwhile somewhere in Jujutsu high...
"When will they finally end?!" Izuku shouted, squeezing the head of an unfortunate curse into mush. It felt like he had been fighting these spirits for hours. Every time he or his shikigami killed one, ten more seemed to take its place.
Sweat poured down his face, mixing with the dried blood staining his clothes. He was exhausted. His body screamed for rest, but he pushed on. Divine Dogs and Nue had already been de-summoned, their energy spent. Max Elephant blasted curses with water, but it, too, was nearing its limit. Great Serpent fought alongside Tiger's Funeral, the only shikigami that didn’t seem to tire. Round Deer’s positive energy dissolved any curse that dared attack it, while Piercing Ox ran rampant, impaling curses like skewers on its horns. But Izuku—he fought with everything he had left. He could feel small earthquakes rumbling around the campus, which only made his heart race faster. Something was happening, something bad.
"Do me a favor and stop already!" Izuku yelled, slashing through another group of curses. "My friends are in danger!"
No one heard him. The curses continued their relentless assault. He gritted his teeth, then disappeared from view, reappearing four meters ahead in a blink of emerald-green light. The curses in his path were sucked into his palms, giving him a fleeting boost of energy. But it wasn’t enough. It was like throwing a pebble into a raging ocean. Izuku swung his hands wildly, cutting through the hordes, sending splashes of cursed energy into the air. But amidst the chaos, one curse snuck up behind him. He felt its fangs sink into his torso.
"Aargh!" Izuku screamed, tearing the curse off and obliterating it in a flash. But the pain lingered, and it was slowing him down. This could go on forever if he didn’t change something.
Then, he sensed it—the cursed energy flow of his friends. It was weak. Too weak. Panic surged through him as realization hit him like a tidal wave.
Geto had defeated them.
"I need to get to them... fast," Izuku thought, desperation creeping into his voice. But how? The curses kept swarming him, blocking his path.
His mind raced, his body moving on instinct. And then it clicked. Why was he holding back? His friends' lives were on the line, his life was on the line. Ishi had always told him to never hold back. He had been a fool. A crazed chuckle bubbled up from his throat. It started small, but quickly turned into a manic, hysterical laughter.
"Of course! How could I be this dumb?!" Izuku shouted, still laughing like a madman. "I severely underestimated Geto... But now? Now playtime's over!"
His shikigami retreated, forming a protective circle around him. They would guard him while he prepared.
"Lend me some of your power and help me..." he whispered, dropping to one knee. His hands moved into position—one arm fully extended, the other half bent in front of him. The air began to swirl, ruffling his hair. His body flashed with white light, once, twice—on the third flash, an enormous surge of cursed energy erupted around him. His shadow boiled, bubbling and shifting, taking on a new form.
"Mahoraga!" Izuku roared.
...
When Yuta arrived to the sounds' source, he immediately froze in fear. His eyes widened, darting back and forth, mouth opened slightly. His friends were laying on the ground, severely injured.
"Maki...?" whispered Yuta when his gaze landed on Maki.
"To tell you the truth, I really don't want to kill you, Okkotsu. But your death will benefit all mages." said Geto, carefully observing him. But Yuta didn't really listen to him.
"Panda...?" Yuta's gaze shifted on Panda.
"Yu-uta..." wheezed someone in the distance, but Yuta heard him well.
"Inumaki...?"
"You... must... run...!"
The sight of his friends was terrifying for Yuta, and Toge's desperate voice saying him to run was the last nail. Fear and disbelief started to fade away as white-hot rage replaced them. Yuta clenched his teeth in anger.
Archive of December 24th, 2017.
"Come forth, Rika!" yelled Yuta, his right hand was glowing in purple flame, cloth that covered his katana immediately burned away. Behind him, Rika has emerged from his shadow, partly covering Yuta with her giant arms.
The special grade vengeful spirit of Rika Orimoto has fully manifested for the second time.
"I will end your life." confidently said Geto, not intimidated by Rika's appearance.
"You're a dead man...!" replied Yuta with a piercing look. Second later, he and Rika were forced to retreat. Geto has summoned numerous curses that looked like human babies, but with dark green skin. Yuta broke out of the high building nearby, raising clouds of dust. Rika was just behind him, and the curses didn't let him go away.
"First I will overwhelm with numbers." mumbled Geto to himself while observing Yuta's fight from the distance. "What will you do, queen of curses?"
Curses attacked Yuta, sending him into the air, but he was restless. Every time the curse approached, Yuta sliced them in half with a precise hit of katance. When Yuta fell under the swarm, Rika floated in front of him and with a growl she attacked. Rika's power caused all curses to explode and sending Yuta flying by the impact. But he landed safely on the railing of another building, Rika flew near him shortly after.
"Rika." ordered Yuta. Rika understood and a black bubble formed in her hand. When it popped, Maki, Panda and Toge fell out on the balcony's floor.
"They all have serious wounds." said Yuta internally as he lifted his palms towards his friend. "You won't die here." he wispered as the white glow surrounded his friends, treating their injuries. Their tensed bodies relaxed a little. But Yuta didn't have time to react when Maki was suddenly pulled away by Rika. He let out a sigh of surprise while Rika was shaking Maki.
"Not fair, not fair!" growled Rika, still shaking injured girl in her hands. "You get everything, you get everything good!" she continued her tirade.
"What are you doing Rika?" Yuta's voice rang out from Rika's right. He sounded serious. "She is one of our friends, protect them like the apple of your eye and don't dare to hurt her." These words stopped Rika immediately. She quickly handed Maki to Yuta.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" said Rika behind Yuta with her distorted voice, tears started to drop from the shell on her head. "Please, just don't get angry!"
"Oh, come on, I'm not even angry." replied Yuta with a soft smile, but Rika was still crying.
"Please, don't hate me!"
"Oh, what are you saying, of course i won't!" Yuta stood on the balcony's railing, Rika floated behind. "Our enemy is standing there." Geto was standing beneath them, silently observing them.
"Yuta, do you hate him?" asked Rika.
"Yes, more than anyone in the world."
"I hate him too then...!"
"Welcome back!" greeted them Geto. Yuta jumped from the balcony and landed on electric pole.
"Why did you stop attacking?" asked Yuta with cold in his voice.
"For healing with our powers, complex reverse techniques are required." answered Geto with a smile on his face, while centipede curses were appearing around him. " So I decided that distracting you, even a little, would be useful. " he raised his hand and centipedes rushed into attack "Well, now, let's continue!"
Meanwhile Yuta lifted his hand, while still looking at Geto.
"Rika, lets try it." he said. Rika lifted her hand, and with a flash of purple, aspeaker appeared in Yuta's hands. It also had snake eyes and fangs printed on it. Geto was surprised because he recognized these symbols. Yuta brought the speaker to his mouth and said "Die." A sudden white flash blinded everyone for a second, and in the next moment, every single curse exploded. The speaker immediately started to crumble to dust.
"Incredible!" Geto whispered in excitement as his eyes widened. "Cursed speech is Inumaki's inherited technique, and here it was implemented by a boy who hadn't studied curses for even a year!"
"It's a complicated thing after all. The energy dissipates and it's hard to hit the target." whispered Yuta while flexing his arm. " How cool is Inumaki!"
"As I thought, Rika Orimoto can change into any form. She is an inexhaustible source of curses..." whispered Geto, now wanting to get control over Rika more. "Now i wan't her even more!"
"Yes, all my friends are really cool, and you dared to hurt them!" continued Yuta while holding his head. But then he looked on Geto with a furious fire in his eyes. "I won't leave a single living spot on you..!"
"Is this the first time you've felt such anger? Is the cursed energy overflowing you?" asked Geto with barely contained enthusiasm. "You instantly became stronger, you feel powerful, all five senses are sharper than ever. And every little thing is no longer an obstacle for you." a black cloud has formed behind him. Second later, a strange worm-like purple curse has appeared from that mist. Geto reached his hands to the curse and took a three-sectioned staff connected by three rings between the joints of the weapon out of it. "I probably will have to deal with you myself."
Yuta answered with an offensive stance, he pointed at Geto with his katana.
"Adjust to me, Rika." Yuta whispered to his childhood friend on his left.
But just before they could do anything, a massive amount of cursed energy flowed through them, making Geto and Yuta flinch. This surge was accompanied by a roar, capable of shaking the ground.
"W-what was that?!" screamed Yuta in confusion while looking around to find the source.
"I don't like this amount of cursed energy around me." thought Geto, while his eyes were running back and forth, his face remained calm. "I must stay cautious."
Yuta's question was answered when the side wall in front has collapsed, chunks of the wall flew away and a cloud of dust was raised. But shortly after, someone hopped out of this cloud, and Yuta significantly relaxed when he saw who it was.
"Having fun without me, eh?" Said Izuku, standing in behind Geto and looking at Yuta.
"I-izuku! I'm so glad you've made it!" shouted Yuta with a big smile on his face. But then Yuta frowned a little. "Where the hell you've been?!"
"I will tell you after... all that. We have something to do first." replied Izuku, shifting his gaze towards Geto
Flashback, a few minutes ago.
"Mahoraga!" Izuku roared, and a second later the shadows retreated, revealing a massive pale white humanoid wheel with eight arms hovering above his head. For a moment the battlefield was silent, Izuku recalled the shikigami so they could rest. But the silence did not last a second, Mahoraga let out a loud battle cry that shook the ground, the nearby curses exploded from the sheer force of that cry.
The general wasted no time, he charged forward, the sword of extermination appeared from his right hand and glowed with a yellowish light. The curses reacted to this new threat and immediately attacked, but before they could get close, they turned into black mist. But what happened next surprised Izuku, he watched Mahoraga, fighting off weaker curses. The black mist that curses usually left behind when they died didn't evaporate. Instead, it flew towards Mahoraga's waiting palm and was absorbed shortly after. Mahoraga let out something vaguely resembling a smirk, and began throwing curses back and forth with more force.
"No way..." Izuku let out a shocked gasp. He clearly understood what Mahoraga had done... He had used his cursed technique! It was crude, not precise like his, but the flow of cursed energy was identical to when he absorbed cursed energy from curses. But the shock didn't last long, as a wide smirk graced Izuku's face. With renewed vigor, he charged into battle, killing curses alongside Mahoraga.
"We need to get to Yuta quickly," Izuku said, and Mahoraga responded with even more aggression towards the curses. They began to make their way towards Yuta's energy signature. It seemed that when Mahoraga adapted to Izuku's technique in the past, he somehow copied it for himself, gaining the power to absorb the residual energy left behind by dead curses and sense cursed energy signatures within a limited range.
Izuku and Mahoraga fought fiercely, breaking through the curses until they finally reached the wall. Yuta's signature was close, Izuku gathered all his strength and rushed towards the wall, breaking through it with a powerful punch.
End of flashback.
"How's the other? Are they ok?" Izuku asked worriedly.
"They are. I've made sure they are safe." answered Yuta.
"Hmph, what a pity." Izuku and Yuta immediately ended their little conversation and looked towards the person who said that. Geto stood motionless, looking at the boys "I'm surrounded, how will I get out of this situation?" Geto said thoughtfully.
"That's the neat part, you won't." — Izuku replied, glaring at Geto. "Just give up, you're at a disadvantage."
"Oh? Who's at a disadvantage?" Geto retorted, a black mist appearing around him as he twirled the playful cloud in his hands. "You two are strong, I must admit. But don't underestimate me."
Geto adjusted his stance, ready for every moves Izuku and Yuta might pull out.
"It's a shame you two declined my invitation. But it doesn't matter now," Geto said calmly, grinning evilly. "Let's curse each other to our heart's content!"

Chapter Text
It seemed as if the time itself stopped for a moment. Everything went grey for Izuku, Yuta and Geto as they were looking in each other’s eyes, ready for everything. After a brief moment, everything went back to normal, and without a word they rushed towards one another.
Yuta attacked first, his katana shining with pink flames sliced through the air, but was stopped by Geto's Playful Cloud. Izuku meanwhile appeared behind the manipulator, trying to kick him in the back. But Geto, showing great agility, ducked down and answered with his own kick into Izuku's jaw. Izuku growled from pain, but he didn’t let this kick knock him down. He landed safely and immediately summoned Toad. A giant frog shoot it’s tongue out, intending to disarm Geto, be was too swift.
Manipulator jumped away, letting the tongue hit Yuta, which surprised both boys for a moment. It gave Geto an opportunity, he appeared in front of Izuku and sent him flying with a palm strike, and then he immediately lunged towards Yuta, intending to turn his head into paste. Only to be stopped by Rika, who with a furious scream tried to slash Geto, but he blocked the attack. He wanted to counterattack, but Yuta forced him to defend, the boy struck him restlessly, sparks flew from his katana with every blow.
“Hmmm… You boys are more stubborn than I firstly anticipated.” Said Geto, deflecting Yuta’s blows with ease. “Humanity stands at the top of the food chain, but yet… They imagined gods, who are even more powerful.” Yuta went for the vertical cut, but Geto wrapped Playful Cloud around his Katana and tossed the boy away. “Why imagine these gods when we– sorcerers– roam this land?” He asked with a grim grin.
Geto heard something from behind shortly after, and quickly raised his staff to block Izuku’s kick.
“You’re trying to saying that you want to be a god?” Izuku asked angrily. “You seem like a grown man, but your thoughts are childish.”
“You didn’t get my point, Midoriya. I don’t aim to enlighten anyone; I only need the elite.” Replied Geto, pushing Izuku’s foot away. But green haired boy used this push as a boost, he landed a strong U-turn in Geto’s ribs. Geto coughed out blood and was launched into the wall.
“I don’t need to hear your perverted vision of world!” Said Izuku, carefully watching Geto and ready for his next move. “What I really know is that you want to kill every non-sorcerer that roam this planet, and this is what I can’t let happen!”
Geto stood up with a painful groan. That kick really knocked air out of him, but he won’t let it stop him. Suddenly, Yuta jumped from behind Geto, forcing curse manipulator to retreat for a moment.
“Attacking from the back, Okkotsu? Tsk-tsk, that won’t do.” Geto swung Playful Cloud around, trying to hit Yuta in the head, but the boy disappeared and in a blink of an eye reappeared behind the sorcerer.
“ He became even more fast! ” thought Geto as an impatient smile appeared on his face. Yuta’s katana was consumed by intense pink flames as he slashed Geto with all his might. Geto raised his staff and successfully blocked the attack. The glow intensified, and in the next moment katana was shattered in pieces.
“Well, why so careless? You poured too much cursed energy and the vessel couldn’t handle it!” Gloatingly asked Geto with a wide grin. “Didn’t Satoru warn you that you must-” He was interrupted when Yuta suddenly punched him right into face. What surprised him even more is a black lightning following the strike, burning pain ran through his head as he was launched away, but that wasn’t all. Izuku suddenly appeared above Geto. Green haired boy grabbed manipulator by his face and with all force slammed him into the ground, leaving a crater under Geto. Izuku let go of Geto and quickly gained distance.
“Ugh… Looks like I severely underestimated you two… You both are good…” muttered Geto, slowly getting up. “Now I see that I have to take you seriously.”
He lifted his hand, black mist emerged from his palm when curse emerged from there. It looked like a strange human dressed in black kimono, with long black hair. It had a mask on its face, that had three eyes and a smile.
“I have no choice but to not spare my efforts against you. I won’t spare quality and quantity neither.” Geto continued his monologue, when the curse in front of him started to make cracking noises, its body started to deform and bend at an odd angle. Three pairs of hands grew out of its torso as the curse began to grow larger, four wings without feathers popped out of its back, ripping kimono it was wearing. Its mask shattered and fell off, opening a sight to nothing but 15 pairs of eyes that appeared to have mouths in pupils. Its transformation ended when each arm grew curved blades to wrists out of its elbows.
“I call it “Chimera”, an amalgamation of 15 special grade curses I’ve gathered.” Announced Geto with serious, yet prideful tone. He lifted his index finger and pointed Yuta. “Chimera, take Okkotsu down, I will deal with Midoriya myself.” Ordered Geto. Chimera’s eyes fixated on Yuta, and with an ear-popping screech it dashed towards the boy in a blur, Geto turned his back on them, staring at Izuku with a sharp gaze.
Everything went gray again, the time has stopped for three sorcerers as they were ready for their final round…
(Just saying that all fights below this point are happening at the same time.)
Yuta vs Chimera…
Chimera attacked. In a blur, its immediately appeared in front of Yuta and lifted its all 8 arms to slice the boy into pieces. Yuta’s eyes widened in surprise and he jumped away, barely avoiding Chimera’s attack. Rika, enraged that this pest dared to hurt Yuta, lunged towards Chimera with a screech of her own. She swung her hands, ready to tear Chimera apart, but the amalgam swung its arm blades to counter Rika’s blows. Claws and blades met, sparks flying with each blow. Rika attacked restlessly, aiming into head, legs, torso, each time with different angles, but Chimera always countered them with precise slices.
With a furious screech, Rika swung both hands downwards and diagonally, trying to slice the beast. But Chimera, apparently, got annoyed from their blow exchange, and without breaking a sweat it caught Rika’s arms. Then, it pulled its six arms back, intending to impale Rika with its blades, but it was distracted when Yuta jumped from behind Rika and kicked Chimera into its face. With annoyed growl Chimera lifted its arms, successfully blocking Yuta’s kick, but the sheer force behind Yuta’s kick was strong enough to make the amalgam loosen its grip on Rika.
Rika pulled her arms out of Chimera’s grip, and with a scream full if hatred she chopped one of Chimera’s arms off. Amalgam’s eyes widened in pain, but it just shook it off. Chimera grabbed Yuta by his foot, surprising the boy, and tossed him into Rika. Vengeful spirit carefully caught Yuta.
“Thanks Rika, I'm fine...” whispered Yuta, deserving a quiet trill from Rika. Yuta jumped off Rika’s arms and was ready to attacks again, but he was shocked when he saw Chimera’s arm growing back. “Looks like our fight just got more difficult...” groaned Yuta. But he won’t let this stop him as he quickly came up with a plan.
“Rika, listen. We must keep attacking and find its weakness. Keep attacking.” said Yuta. Rika nodded in agreement and with a scream she lunged towards Chimera.
Eight-armed beast responded with a high-pitched screech, making Rika stand still. Yuta screamed in pain and covered his ears, his vision became obscured for a moment, which was everything the beast needed. While Rika was disorientated, Chimera lunged forward, pushing Rika out of its way and going straight to Yuta. The boy recognized the threat and instinctively ducked, barely dodging Chimera’s slice. He started to see normally again, and Yuta punched Chimera three times in its guts.
Chimera was pushed back by Yuta’s punches, but recovered fast enough to try to slam Yuta into the ground with all its hands. But when it tried to do such thing, it let out a surprised growl when Rika grabbed it from behind. It was all Yuta needed, he jumped and using Chimera’s chest as a boost, he made it to its head and kicked it into lower jaw, ripping its head completely. Yuta landed on the ground with a sigh of relief, Rika floated behind him. Yuta was waiting for the body to disintegrate... But then he was utterly shocked and confused when the place where Chimera’s head should be started to deform.
With the sound of cracking bones, Chimera’s head grew back, a strange ball of red floated above its neck as flesh grew around it. When head regenerated,14 pairs of eyes popped out, it let out a furious growl, looking at Yuta and Rika with nothing but hatred and anger.
“W-what in the-?!” shouted Yuta in frustration, but was interrupted when Chimera appeared right in front of him, and smite him and Rika with all 8 arms, launching Yuta into nearby building. But before Yuta could crash into that building, Chimera appeared above him, lifting all 8 arms up. Rika appeared right in time and shielded Yuta from a devastating slam that launched them towards the ground. Yuta adjusted his position and heavily landed on his feet, leaving a crater due to the impact. But he wasn’t given time to think, Yuta was forced to dodge when Chimera landed on his previous position.
Yuta tumbled after his jump and recovered quickly, but Chimera was already standing near him. Yuta jumped away from a slice, but it left a small scratch on his arm. Chimera growled in anger and stared at Yuta. Then, something unexpected happened. Mouths in its eyes opened wide and spikes emerged from them. Yuta had a second to react when spikes started to fly at him at high speed endlessly. With a scream of surprise, Yuta ran to the left, with Rika and a track of spikes following him. Rika was infuriated with it and lunged towards Chimera. She lifted her hand and sliced Chimera, ending its attack, but the Beast responded with a blow of its own. Their attacks met each other, and Rika continued. This quickly turned into barrage, both swinging their hands at insane speed, but it was clear that Chimera was pushing Rika to her limits. With each strike Chimera became more enraged, more powerful and faster, and Rika did all she could to match this power.
Fortunately for Rika, Yuta came to help. He came from behind Chimera and punched it into the back of the head, but Chimera responded instantly, striking Yuta in torso with lightning speed. Yuta coughed out blood as he was launched away, Rika chased after Yuta to catch him, but because of that Chimera had a clear strike, it Impaled Rika from behind with every arm, purple blood dripping from blades ends.
“Rika, no!” shouted Yuta in fear, but then he gasped from pain when he crashed into the wall. Rika, on the other hand, wasn’t caring about her injuries, her dear Yuta was hurt... She screamed at top of her lungs; you could clearly hear frustration and hatred from that scream. When Chimera didn’t expect it, Rika grabbed two of its arms and squeezed them with all her might, breaking them like sticks. Chimera growled in pain and let Rika go out of surprise, and that was its fatal error. Rika didn’t lose any second, she opened her mouth wide and dug into Chimera’s head with her teeth. She started to shake her head, digging deeper into Chimera’s head, and with a strong pull she ripped its head from its neck.
Rika spat Chimera’s head out and quickly rushed towards Yuta. When she arrived, she saw Yuta, he was mostly fine, but he had blood dripping from his forehead and mouth.
“Yuta Yuta.... Are you okay, Yuta?” she asked with her distorted voice. Yuta groaned in pain, grabbing his head.
“Yes, I'm fine. Thank you, Rika...” answered Yuta, rubbing her head and slowly getting up. He looked at headless Chimera, and immediately started planning while Chimera’s head was growing back.
“If we continue like this, we will be defeated. It isn’t like any other curse... But what do we do to kill it in one blow...?” suddenly, Yuta remembered something, words once spoken by his closest friend ever from far past. He closed his eyes for a moment...
“I promise to you. One day, when we grow up, me and you will get married, Yuta!” he recalled these words spoken by Rika long time ago... “Okay! And then, we will always be, just the two of us!” Yuta remembered all good memories he and Rika had, their time playing together, their time in a hospital, and their promise they made.
“Rika...” whispered Yuta, hugging Rika’s big head.
“Yes, Yuta?” asked Rika.
“Thank you, for always protecting me. Thank you, for loving me. For the last time, help me just once more... I want to stop him, and after that... I won’t need anything anymore.” he looked at place were, supposedly, must be Rika’s eyes, holding her cheek with a soft smile. “The present and the future, my body and soul... I will give you everything. From now on, we will always live together. I love you, Rika. Let's disappear together.”
This sentence... changed something in Rika. She started to shake, gasping with her distorted voice.
“Yuta... Yuta...!” she screamed, her shell started to open. After a moment, a singular red eye emerged, a wide (and creepy) smile adorned her face. “Love you love you love you; I love you Yuta!” she screamed happily, a purple sphere of energy appeared in front of them and started to grow bigger.
Chimera, on the other hand, recognized the danger these two now pose, and started to charge its most powerful attack. It placed its arms in front of its chest, a blood-red sphere emerged between its palms. Both attacks grew stronger with every second, the air crackled with energy while lightnings of pure energy jumped from spheres into the air. Everything stopped for a moment... and giant lasers emerged from spheres, violently piercing through the air. In just one second two attacks collided, but the purple laser easily broke through blood-red laser, and flew towards Chimera. That was the last thing Chimera has witnessed, before it was gone... Reduced to atoms. A giant purple cloud filled the area, impact from residual energy destroying everything on its path. When the cloud settled down, everything in the area was severely destroyed. Yuta was looking at the destruction before him, while his brain was processing what just happened. But when his brain finally caught up with recent events, Yuta’s eyes widened.
“Come on Rika, we’re far from over! We must find Geto and help Izuku to fight him off.” said Yuta. Rika nodded, and a couple of a boy and vengeful spirit bolted in a random direction, seeking for their friend and trying to not pay attention to their fatigue.
Meanwhile, Izuku vs Geto...
Izuku and Geto stood motionless, their gazes locked like drawn blades, sharp and unyielding. The air between them seemed to hum with the weight of their cursed energy, a palpable force pressing down on the battlefield. Neither flinched, their breaths steady, their stances rooted like immovable pillars.
For what felt like hours—but in truth was only a few heartbeats—they remained still, each measuring the other, waiting for the first crack in composure. Then, Geto shifted, his foot sliding to the side with deliberate grace. Izuku mirrored him immediately, his movements fluid yet precise, as if they were reflections in a distorted mirror.
They began to circle, each step careful and calculated, like predators staking their claim over the same territory. The ground beneath them seemed to groan with anticipation, the space between shrinking and expanding as their cursed energy clashed invisibly. Neither spoke, their silence louder than any words, each motion a challenge, each glance a declaration: Who's going to strike first?
The question was answered when Izuku rushed forward, azure-green flames surrounded his fists as he approached Geto in an instant. Geto’s eyes widened from Izuku’s speed, but he was calm like a snake, he quickly adjusted his stance to face Izuku’s attacks. Izuku started with a jab, aiming at Geto’s stomach, but the man pushed the hand away and replied with a punch of his own. Izuku dodged away and immediately hit Geto in chest. Geto hummed in slight pain, but he endured the hit and landed a palm strike on Izuku’s cheek. Instead of trying to keep his head steady, Izuku used the impulse that Geto gave him and spun around, delivering a spinning kick in Geto’s head.
But before the kick could hit, Geto raised his forearm and blocked Izuku’s attack, he could feel his bones rattling, but he used their position and grabbed Izuku by his foot and tossed him away. Izuku screamed in surprise, but quickly recovered his focus as he approached the ground. He performed a backflip mid-air and landed on his feet, but quickly jumped backwards, dodging Geto’s axe-kick. Now it was Geto’s turn to attack, he tried to strike Izuku three times, but his fists met only air as Izuku parried every hit. Izuku replied with his own strikes, aiming in Geto’s chest. But when it seemed that Izuku would hit, Geto caught his fists and squeezed them tight.
Izuku squeezed his teeth from pain, Geto’s grip was threatening to crush his fists into powder, but he quickly came up with a solution. With a surge of cursed energy covering him, Izuku smashed Geto’s head with his own, catching Geto off guard and making him loosen his grip. Izuku freed his fist and immediately struck Geto in stomach once, twice, thrice! The pain made Geto to release Izuku’s other hand, which gave Izuku more space to move as he spun and kicked Geto in his upper arm with his heel, sending the man into the nearby wall.
Geto crashed into the wall, raising a cloud of dirt and dust. A moment later, dozens of centipede-looking curses appeared from the cloud, rushing towards Izuku. The boy quickly made a hand sign that looked like a rabbit, his shadow boiled as dozens of rabbits rushed forward to intercept curses. They kicked any curse on their way furiously, crushing their physical bodies into mush, but before Rabbit escape could approach Geto’s position, they were incinerated by a blue pillar of fire suddenly emerging from the dust cloud. Izuku had only a second to react and he barely dodged the fire before it could touch him.
“I must say, despite your lack of experience... You pack quite a punch.” said Geto, wheezing from the recent blow. “But it’s time to wrap up our fight.” the mane came out of the hole in the wall, but this time he wasn’t alone. A curse hovered by his side, it had a humanoid appearance, with long black hair and a mask on its face, which had only four eyes and a wide smile. The curse also was wearing light-red kimono, with white dots and green lines at the end of its sleeves and in the middle. It raised one hand to cover its mouth.
“Let me introduce it to you, Midoriya. This is a vengeful spirit, the strongest I have up my sleeve.” said Geto, pointing his hand at the curse. Izuku tensed as he started to analyze the curse in front of him, but Geto didn’t pay attention at all as he proceeded. “Its name is Tamamo-no-Mae Incarnate, a special grade curse. I hope you’re ready, because like I said before, I will not hesitate to throw everything have at you. Give up while you still can.”
“Like hell I will.” Izuku shot back, not paying attention at slightly disappointed expression Geto displayed. “I’m not giving up, not until I put an end to your threat.”
Geto’s lips twitched into a smile, a smirk born of irritation more than amusement. “Heh, strong, stubborn and idiotic.” As fast as it appeared, Geto’s smile washed away from his face. He returned into his stance. “If you refuse to retreat, I have no other option than to kill you.” said Geto, throwing a dead gaze at Izuku, while Tamamo summoned 2 fireballs on its sides, ready to attack.
“And will not let it happen. And besides, you’re not the only one who has a strong ally up your sleeve.” answered Izuku, taking a step forward and keeping his guard up. “It’s fair that I reveal my own trump card, now that you revealed yours.” When Izuku said it, a massive amount of cursed energy washed over Geto, exerting a strong pressure on the manipulator.
“And what are you talking about exactly?” replied Geto with a nervous grin, successfully resisting the sudden pressure.
“Let me introduce you to Eight-Handled Sword...” as Izuku began to speak, the ground trembled, the wall behind Izuku started to shake as heavy footsteps were heard behind it. “Divergent Sila Divine General...” cracks suddenly formed on the wall, as the creature behind it tried to break out. They became bigger and bigger after each blow. “Mahoraga!”
As soon as these words left Izuku’s mouth, the wall finally gave up under the pressure and collapsed, raising a cloud of dust and turning into nothing but a pile of boulders. Before Geto could do anything, big boulders flew out of the cloud and towards him at blinding speed. Luckily for the man, Tamamo stood in front of him and smashed boulders away, defending its master from any damage. When the onslaught finally come to an end, Tamamo slowly floated away, letting Geto to see the newcomer.
Heavy footsteps could be heard again, as Mahoraga came out of the dust cloud and stopped behind Izuku, casting a shadow of its massive body on the boy. Shikigami let out a low groan, observing Geto and Tamamo and ready to fight.
“Hm... What an interesting shikigami...” mumbled Geto while his gazed danced over Mahoraga, seeking for potential weak points. He turned back to Izuku after few seconds of observing. “I must say, you caught me off guard with this brute. But I'm more interested how good will it show itself in a fight?”
“I must agree with you here, I'm quiet interested in this cursed spirit myself.” replied Izuku, getting back in his stance, his gaze piercing through Geto’s core. “What do you say, shall we continue?” he asked with a small grin.
“Heh, with pleasure.” answered Geto, grinning wide as more even curses appeared around him. “Attack.” he ordered with a serious tone, pointing at Izuku and Mahoraga, and curses obeyed.
Izuku’s hands moved in a blur, creating signs of various animals. In a second, every shikigami he had at his disposal emerged from his shadow and immediately lunged towards the army of cursed spirits. What happened next was a total massacre, Geto summoned every curse he had in a fight, while Shikigami were giving a furious response. Divine Dogs worked together to fight off speedy spirits, biting them in the legs and ripping the apart, Nue engaged into aerial battle, electrifying any curse that was close and using its wings to slice others in half.
Toad was working from behind, immobilizing strong looking curses so Tiger Funeral could quickly finish them off, Rabbit Escape were hopping around, dealing with ganged up curses. Piercing Ox and Round Deer were rushing towards, piercing any curse on their way with horns. Great Serpent and Max Elephant working together as well, while the elephant was shooting water under pressure, the serpent was making sure that no other curse won’t get close.
While Shikigami had their fights, Izuku rushed at Geto at insane speed and landed a punch, which was redirected. Geto quickly counter attacked, but Izuku blocked the hit and answered with another punch. Geto blocked the hit and aimed to land a hit in Izuku’s stomach, Izuku caught the hand mid-way and twisted it at the wrong angle. Geto replied with a knee kick in Izuku’s stomach, which made him to jump away.
Barely landing on the ground, Izuku lunged forward, engaging in a furious exchange of blows. Izuku and Geto were pushing against each other, punching and kicking, sometimes landing clear blows, and almost always blocking each other’s attacks. Their attacks were blurred, their speed exceeded human capabilities, and every blow they landed or blocked sent a shock wave.
“Good job keeping up, Midoriya!” Geto sneered, his voice tinged with mockery. He deflected three quick strikes before landing a solid punch to Izuku’s cheek. The boy staggered but recovered instantly, retaliating with a brutal kick to Geto’s shoulder that sent the older sorcerer stumbling.
“Shut up! I don’t need compliments from someone like you!” Izuku snapped, dodging a forward kick with millimeter precision. Spinning on his heel, he drove his elbow into Geto’s ribs, eliciting a sharp grunt of pain.
Geto smirked, his expression unshaken despite the blow. “Oh, what a grump you are...” he sighed, shifting into a flurry of open-palm strikes. Izuku parried the attacks with calculated precision before leaping into the air, bringing his leg down in a devastating axe kick.
Geto barely evaded the strike, the ground beneath them fracturing from the force. Izuku lifted his head, ready to jump at Geto once again, but his gaze was greeted with an upcoming fist. Izuku lifted his hands, barely blocking Geto’s blow, but the force behind that punch was enough to send him into the wall behind and create a hole in it from the impact. Izuku coughed out blood, but he quickly got up and jumped at Geto, punching him in his cheek. Geto stumbled from the force, but he remained on his feet and landed a punch of his own.
While two special grade sorcerers were clashing, shockwaves sending from their attacks, another fight was brewing, somewhere in the distance...
A roar erupted, shaking the air around the white titan, also known as Mahoraga. Without wasting any time, Mahoraga lunged towards its opponent: Tamamo-no-Mae, who was floating still, observing its enemy. When Mahoraga appeared before the curse, a blue fireball appeared in front of it, which quickly expanded into a huge wave of fire. Mahoraga evaded this attack, the Sword of Extermination appeared from its wrist as it sliced the curse in front.
Tamamo barely dodged the slice and then the curse kicked Mahoraga’s hand with its bird-like legs. But it seemed that Mahoraga’s arm didn’t move an inch, it let out an irritated groan and launched Tamamo away with the back of its hand. What Mahoraga didn’t realize is that all that Tamamo needed is distance to summon back up.
Black mist surrounded the curse, and in the next moment, it took shape of two nine-tailed foxes. Both had strange signs on their foreheads, one was pale-orange and another was pale-blue, their tails were white at the tips. Tamamo lifted its hand forward, and foxes sprinted towards Mahoraga. But the Divine General didn’t back up, it sprinted towards new enemies and sliced them into pieces in a matter of seconds.
Shikigami’s let out cries of pain and immediately turned into black mist again. Mahoraga lifted its hand, and in the next second the black mist formed a vortex around its fist, absorbed into Mahoraga’s body. General’s skin turned black for a moment, but then went back to its original color. In the next second, Mahoraga appeared before Tamamo, the Sword of Extermination already above its head.
Left with no choice, caught off guard curse lifted both hands, blocking Mahoraga’s sword. The power behind that attack made Tamamo to hit the ground, the curse resisted the pressure with all its might, cracks started to form under it. Tamamo looked up, and saw how Mahoraga’s blade glowed with faint-white light... And in the next second, it felt unbearable burning from both hands. The curse quickly retreated, letting the blade hit the ground, which made it stuck for a moment. Mahoraga, caught off guard, tried to pull it out, which took only a few seconds, but it was all that Tamamo needed.
A fireball emerged in front of the curse, and instantly expanded towards Divine General. Mahoraga lifted its hand, trying to swipe the fire away, but what it didn’t know is this wasn’t any ordinary flame. It was Will-O-Wisp, a special flame that hits its target, bypassing any object that can shield the target. When the flame touched Mahoraga, it immediately caught on fire. Divine General screamed in pain while trying to shake the fire off, but it wasn’t appearing to fade away.
Tamamo, seeing General’s predicament, shot out even more fire, which successfully landed and lit up the ground around Mahoraga, hiding it from anyone's sight. The curse floated there for a while, then it turned around and floated away, thinking it was victorious. But before it could go too far away, the deep rumbling of heavy gears in motion echoed across the field, catching Tamamo off guard.
It turned around and became a witness of a rather breathtaking scene. From the wall of blue flame, a tall humanoid outline could be seen, becoming closer and closer. In the next moment, Mahoraga came out of the wall of flames, remnants of will-o-wisp were burning out on its skin as it was calmly walking towards the curse. And in a blink of an eye, Mahoraga disappeared, and the wall of blue flames was the last thing Tamamo-no-Mae, the special grade vengeful spirit, has seen. Mahoraga appeared behind it, walking towards its master like nothing happened. It didn’t pay any attention to the cursed spirit behind it, sliced in half, and slowly evaporating...
Meanwhile, back at the center of the battlefield...
Izuku screamed in pain, when a curse that looked like an oversized leech dug into his shoulder. He tore it away, crushing it in his arm and consuming any remaining energy he could. Izuku was fighting Geto for a while now, and their prolonged battle affected both sorcerers. Both were covered in bruises; they were panting and their bodies ached from fatigue. Not even Reverse curse technique could really help them out... But they were fighting restlessly.
Geto, seeing Izuku’s momentary vulnerability, rushed towards him and punched him in the face, breaking his nose in process. But Izuku didn’t fall, he used the impulse to gain some distance through back handspring. And the moment his feet landed on the ground, he rushed at Geto without delay, creating small craters under his feet. Geto didn’t react in time, and Izuku crashed his fists in Geto’s stomach, sending the man flying. But it wasn’t all, Izuku immediately chased after him at high speed. When he caught up with Geto, Izuku delivered a rising kick, his toe crashed into Geto’s chin with a devastating force and sent him tumbling through the air.
To finish this, Izuku leaped right after him, the boy appeared slightly above Geto. He clenched his fists together and with all his might he smite Geto into the ground. The man crashed terribly, raising the cloud of dust. But when Izuku reached his peak and started falling, dozens fly-like curses flied towards him. The boy didn’t lose his head, stretched out his leg towards curses and started to banish them with a kick barrage.
When he finished the last curse, another one, even bigger appeared, ready to swallow him whole. In response, Izuku halted his fall with a burst of cursed energy beneath him, instantly stabilizing his body as he tumbled backward. As his arm extended forward, his fingers locked in a precise, straight line, and with a powerful, controlled swing, he unleashed a sharp wave of air, slicing through the air, and the curse in front of him.
When Izuku landed, he instantly jumped backwards to dodge Geto’s axe kick. Geto, in response, chased after him and started to push him with restless kicks and blows. Izuku had nothing left but to dodge, so he did it, ducking under attacks, parrying them and jumping away from them. The more Geto attacked, the more he seemed frustrated and careless, his attacks became a little bit readable, which Izuku took full advantage of. When Geto tried to punch him in the face, in the last second, Izuku ducked under the man’s fist as it swung dangerously close to his skin.
Izuku, without losing any time, landed a strong hit in Geto’s face with his left palm, but he didn’t stop there. Izuku punched Geto in stomach with his right hand, knocking the air out of him. Then, he did the same with his right fist, and with left again, making the man floating above him from the power of these hits. He punched Geto like that 10 times, after which he hit him with both fists. But it wasn’t all, while Geto was still vulnerable, Izuku went behind him and landed another 3 punches on the man’s spine, after which Izuku grabbed him by the feet and tossed Geto away.
After a second of flight, Geto rolled on the ground. He barely managed to stop himself and stand up, Geto coughed out blood, recovering from the latest attack. His sight blurred, but he quickly shook it off and barely stood up straight, meeting his gaze with Izuku, who was roughly the same.
” Would you look at that, it has been a long time since I've been pushed to my limit like this...” wheezed Geto, panting from increasing fatigue. “You really are something special, Midoriya... Don't you agree that it's time to end this farce?”
“As much as I hate you... I must agree.” answered Izuku, barely holding himself on his feet. He was shaking from pain, but he forced himself in a stance. “Let’s end this.” he said.
“Fine then, I’m glad you agree with me this time.” Geto sighed heavily, slowly raising his hands. “Be warned. This time, I will smite you, no matter what.”
Before Izuku could answer, he felt an enormous amount of cursed energy radiating from Geto’s body, it seemed as area around the man was covered in sinister black fire. Izuku immediately recognized what his opponent was about to do, his eyes sharpened as he forced himself to stay calm. His hands lowered and met together; his body started to radiate the same amount of cursed energy as Geto, covering the air around his body in dark-green fire which clashed with Geto’s.
Izuku made a hand sign, his fingers were pointing down, thumbs went between his palms, His hands met, the thumbs went inside the palm, the index, ring, and little fingers curved outward and pointed outside, while his middle fingers took the horizontal position. Meanwhile, Geto pressed the backs of his hands together, fingers interlaced in a tight, controlled grip. His thumbs rested against the base of his opposite fingers, while the tips of his index and middle fingers met, forming a sharp 'V'. The rest of his fingers curled firmly against his palms; the palms themselves hidden from view.
At this point, black puddles of cursed energy formed from behind both sorcerers, splashing and bubbling, trying to take their forms. Only one phrase was holding them back, but not for long. Sorcerers took a deep breath, looking in each other’s eyes and refusing to back down. Then, this happened...
“Domain expansion.” Izuku and Geto said at the same time, the puddle behind Izuku started to expand, while the puddle behind Geto started to tower up in the sky. “Cursed Dominion! / Womb Profusion!” they exclaimed at the same time, and the chaos began.
Their domains started to expand; barrier behind Izuku started to form and expand, heading towards Geto, stars started to appear in the background, and a huge black hole emerged, bending the light around it. But suddenly the barrier stopped expanding, as if something didn’t let it to grow. On the other side, raw cursed energy behind Geto started to grow higher, eventually taking shape of a giant tower made solely out of faces that were stitched together. But the most major difference from Izuku’s domain was its lack of barrier. When two domains opened, the cursed energy behind them started to clash furiously, raising a furious wind in the collision point.
Izuku and Geto almost immediately felt the pressure of two domains pressing against each other, but they didn’t show it as they poured more and more cursed energy, trying to overpower one another.
“Incredible... Just fascinating!” exclaimed Geto, his eyes widened in surprise and twisted entertainment, accompanied by a wide grin. “Each time you’re surprising me more and more, a Domain Expansion at such a young age!” Geto’s expression darkened “Not that it will help you, though.”
But Izuku did not deign to answer him, trying to push Geto’s domain away with every ounce of energy he had instead. The boundary of his barrier was pushing an invisible force that was trying to break it, sometimes pushing forward and sometimes retreating.
Geto, unwilling to lose, pushed against Izuku’s domain even harder, slowly but surely overpowering him. But he also didn’t want to risk, even though Midoriya was inexperienced, he was a special grade sorcerer, and Geto wouldn’t dare to underestimate him again. While Izuku was busy trying to overpower him, the tower behind Geto started to spin upwards, which caught the boy’s attention immediately. Geto separated his hands and lifted them in front of him. With this motion, faces in the tower started to separate from it and swirl into a grey vortex.
The attack grew bigger, which was making Izuku’s brain think at 100 mph, trying to find any way to deflect such attack. With only one solution, Izuku copied Geto’s movements and started to gather cursed energy into the ball, preparing an attack of his own. Faces of both sorcerers became serious, emotions were pushed away completely and were swapped with nothing but determination to win. Both knew that this attack was final, and only one of them will leave this place alive.
Tense seconds has passed, and finally, they unleashed their attacks. The giant beams headed towards each other, piercing through air at insane speeds. They needed only a second to collide as they started to clash, trying to dominate one another and eventually completely eradicate ones who were on their way. The clash continued for 5 seconds, when Geto’s attack started to overwhelm Izuku’s. The boy tried all he could, but his cursed energy was spent too much on both his domain and his attack.
Izuku’s beam became smaller and smaller, until it was completely overwhelmed by Geto’s attack, which immediately launched towards the boy. Izuku had nothing left to defend himself, so he just raised his hands, already ready to meet his demise...
But, before anything bad could happen, something appeared in front of Izuku, catching Geto off guard. Izuku, when he noticed that Geto’s beam didn’t land on him, slowly put his arms away to see what happened, only to sign in relief and let a wide smile to appear on his face. In front of him, Mahoraga, Goliath of sorcery world, was protecting him from Geto’s attack. The fearsome shikigami was holding its Sword of Extermination in front, piercing through Maximum: Uzumaki like hot knife through butter.
Geto, firstly surprised, shook his shock off and poured more cursed energy in his attack, pushing the Divine General back a little. But it wasn’t for long, while Mahoraga was holding against this beam, its wheel twitched a little, and then...
Cling...
The wheel above its head spun, and the next thing Geto knew was his Maximum: Uzumaki sliced in half... And Geto’s upper body was separated from his legs. The man vomited blood as his torso plummeted on the ground. The tower behind him started to crack, and eventually collapsed.
“*Cough* W-well... T-that didn’t g-go a-as *cough *planned...” mumbled Geto as he looked into the evening sky, bathing in golden rays of the glorious sunshine. “Y-you really a-are strong, M-midoriya... To tame this shikigami...” Geto coughed out more blood. He felt strength leaving his body very fast.
“Stop with it already...” said Izuku as he approached Geto. Mahoraga melted into black goop and went into Izuku’s shadow. Green-haired boy sat by the man and looked him in the eyes. “You won’t be able to hurt innocent people no more... But... Why? Why would you do this? All this could have been avoided...”
“I-if you t-trying to say if I regret what I-i did *cough*, i do not.” answered Geto, looking back at Izuku with tired look in his eyes. “B-but its n-not what I r-really want to tell...”
Barely, with remnants of reverse curse technique still keeping him alive, Geto waved his hand, telling Izuku to come closer. Out of respect, Izuku obeyed, which made a soft smile to appear on Geto’s face.
“B-before I’m completely g-gone... *cough-cough* Let me ask you something... Look after Satoru for me... O-ok?” Even though Izuku didn’t notice it, a lone tear dropped from Geto’s eye. It seemed that he was experiencing some far memories. “S-since we went our o-own ways, he was a-all alone... J-just p-promise me, that w-when he will need it, you and Okkotsu w-will cover h-his back... Ok...?”
Izuku didn’t know how to react to this. Even though Geto was trying to kill him and Yuta just moments ago, he couldn’t even be angry at him. After a second of thinking, Izuku silently nodded. This little movement made Geto’s expression relax.
“T-thank you...” Geto whispered with the last of his strength as he closed his eyes. Moments later, he let out his last breath. Izuku sat there for a few minutes, staring at Geto’s dead body before he decided to take his leave. He walked away slowly in the direction where he felt Yuta’s cursed energy signature.
Finally, this madness was over...
NIGHT PARADE OF A HUNDRED DEMONS, END.
TO BE CONTINUED =======>
Notes:
Ok, i was thinking. My head, flooded with many ideas, was one of reasons (accompanied with my sloth and work) why i was writing this for so long. So, i decided to ask you guys, should i write these ideas to clear my head. Here are the options:
1) Write a fic about "Dr. Stone."
2) Write a fic about "So I'm a Spider, So What?"
3) Write a fic about "Jojo's Bizzare Adventure."
4) Say "GET OUT 🗣🔊" to my dumbass head and FOCUS. ON. THIS. FUCKING. FIC.
Chapter 18: Not a chapter. Again. Deal with it.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Happy new year mah fellas! I hope your sanity stays intact (my isn't, send help). And yes, I posted to assure you that I'm not dead, that the next chapter is W.I.P.
I wanted the next chapter to be a collab of short stories that would happen between jjk zero and the main story line, but it quickly got out of hand, so you will be getting separate chapters, with MAYBE long text.
And, I kinda wanted to ask. How about I challenge myself with writing a one piece fic? Ofc, I will set a top priority to update this work, but I will write another one if ideas are too much. If you're interested, the story will be revolving around a curious guy named Nikola Jinto (an oc ofc) and his adventures as a member of strawhat pirates (cliche idea, ik). He ate a logia type devil fruit called Arashi Arashi no mi (or storm storm fruit). And before you start throwing tomatoes, I tried to make it interesting in my head. Honestly, the way Fandom handled it's power level being lightning colour is cool, but really boring, so I poured my creativity in it, making it somehow interesting for me.
Ok, quit yapping, I wish you the best of luck in this new year, may the cursed energy be with you.
Smell ya!
