The first thing she felt was as if all the air in her lungs was abruptly emptied.
The situation was confusing and chaotic, what the hell was going on!?
That question came to her mind as she caught her breath and her vision stopped spinning. She shook the dirt off her body and looked around in confusion, she was at least 60 centimeters deep in what looked like a hole, a sewer?
She carefully stood in the hole, looking around.
It was a remote place, a desert? No, it was somewhere unknown.
She didn't know where she was.
-Bella, are you okay?
The voice caught her attention, a woman with short brown hair and big blue eyes was watching her. That face was not one she knew.
Oh, my God, no.
It was only now that she realized there was something strange in her body.
She felt different, very different, it wasn't easy to describe but if she had to put it into words she would say she felt. Too. Thin. Clumsy.
-Are you hitting yourself too hard? Reene looked at her daughter, who had a lost and confused look.
Her daughter looked in shock, falling into a ditch could do that but she looked like she needed a doctor, her face was getting paler and paler and she wasn't even trying to get out of there, she had definitely hit her head. In order to help her she had to get up first.
-Bella, get out of there, you're getting paler and paler, I can't help you from here, darling.
She gulped and moved slowly.
-Yes. I understand, I need to get out of here- There was something strange when she spoke, but Reene didn't pay attention, Bella started to crawl out of the ditch.
Then everything just went black
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------
The constant dripping was the first thing she heard when she woke up.
She didn't know how or why, but she was here and now, the woman who called her her daughter was sitting at the side of her hospital bed looking at a magazine.
She didn't have much time to process what was happening, but even though she was confused, she remembered one clear fact.
He should be dead; she remembered the feeling when the blood was leaving her body and with it her life.
She had died. A bullet had gone through her chest.
Somehow she was alive and in a body that made her feel strange. Now was not the time to have useless thoughts, she had to know where she was and when. She cleared her throat loudly to get the woman's attention.
-Bella, darling, it's good that you're awake, you gave us a big scare when you fainted, Phill is downstairs in the cafeteria and he's already calling your father, he's very worried, I told him I would call him when you woke up
So that was her "mother", huh?
That didn't bring her much comfort; She didn't fool herself into thinking she was a great actress. If this woman kept calling her Bella, then she hoped she could hide it for at least a while.
It was certainly very different for Reene, who thought she had things to do at home.
"Please call him later, I want to sleep," she managed to rasp out.
"Of course, honey, I'll get a nurse, don't fall asleep yet."
"OK
The feeling of unreality was fading with each passing second, the dizziness she felt from the medicine that was entering her not letting her think clearly.
She knew she had to stay awake, but the temptation to let herself drift off to sleep was strong.
-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------
The hospital stay was brief, but long enough for reality to sink in. Two days were enough for her to assimilate the unthinkable: her life had changed in a way that . . . In front of the mirror, the evidence was undeniable: the face staring back at her was not her own, but that of Isabella Swan.
The recognition was overwhelming at first, but as the hours passed, she began to accept the reality of her situation. . . The details from Renée Dwyer, Bella's mother, were tangible and real, confirming what she already suspected: this was not a simple dream or drug-induced hallucination.
One thing was clear: she had to adjust to her new life as Bella Swan.
Overall, Bella Swan did not have a bad ending.
The downside is everything surrounding that ending, terrifying things.
Now she knew that there were 2 months left until she left for Forks, Reene although observant was quite scatterbrained and careless with her daughter, since she arrived at that house she did nothing but remind her of her own childhood after her parents died and she was left in the care of her uncles, they only left the money on the kitchen table before disappearing for weeks.
She was in her room, it feels strange to call it that, in front of her was the full-length mirror, God, how creepy.
Less than 3 days ago they were in a warehouse unloading merchandise and now she was a teenager.
Oh shit, this can't be happening.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When she entered the drug business it was out of necessity like most young people her age, she had come of age and her uncles did not see the need to continue taking her in, before the law she was an adult even if she did not feel that way, she was on the street and a boy who sold drugs that she had met during school (he and his girlfriend were finishing school while she still had a few years left) saw her wandering around the park with her few belongings in her backpack and after telling him her story he took her in.
Jade was her light when she did not know what to do.
Jade was a simple-minded boy, he did not mess with anyone unless they messed with him first, he lived with his girlfriend and like her they were orphans, they met in a foster home, they went to different high schools but things went bad when the woman who took care of them started dating a violent man, they simply ran away and left everything behind. In their new life, Jade and Erica found their way into the business taught to them by some people they met. Erica, with her innate charisma and ability to manipulate situations to her advantage, was the perfect partner. They loved each other deeply, and that connection extended to her, who was taken in by them as a younger sister. Jade and Erica were her protectors, teaching her everything they knew, and eventually, she joined the business.
Over time, Jade and Erica managed to establish themselves in legal jobs, leaving their previous life behind. They married at age 30 and moved to another country, offering her the opportunity to accompany them. However, she had already made her own reputation in the business, and she was good at it. Without realizing it, she had formed a criminal organization, although more pacifist than others, it was still a crime organization.
Now, as Isabella Swan, she hated depending on Renée. During the first two weeks in this new body, Bella's memories gradually came flooding back, and she soon realized that Renée was a total mess with money. If it hadn't been for Bella's ability to keep the household accounts, they would have long since lost the roof over their heads or run out of food in the fridge. Renée had a rather relaxed view on money, considering it something to spend on fun, without much consideration for the future.
Despite everything, Bella loved Renée fiercely, but that financial insecurity drove her to seek a familiar path. Lessons learned in her previous life, where she had built her organization from scratch, began to surface. She knew she couldn't continue to depend on Renée forever, and the need to be in control, especially in financial terms, was stronger than ever.
Which led her to the current situation
"It's 500 grams," the man said, his voice showing curiosity. "Look, girl, you don't know what you're getting yourself into, but you seem very determined."
Bella looked at him with the expression of someone who knew exactly what she wanted.
“I know that,” Bella replied, her voice firm and unwavering. “Just make sure it’s the quality you promised.”
The guy laughed, most of his buyers were just consumers but the little entrepreneur in front of him was definitely something else, so he simply put the package in the backpack the girl had given him and decided to give her a little advice as a token of friendship.
“10 grams is worth 25 dollars,” he said, lowering his voice a little, almost in a confidential tone.
Bella listened to him attentively, nodding slightly in gratitude. With the backpack in her hand, she turned around and walked away, she didn’t plan on taking the business to Forks, just earning enough money for emergencies in case things went bad, anyway she still had a month and a half.

Time sure flies by when you're having fun, I was at the airport waiting for my luggage, nerves twisting my insides.
God! How did I think I was even prepared for all the TWILIGHT shit? Was it too late to turn around and go back to Reene? Yes, it was, because fucking CHARLIE SWAN was grabbing my backpack and greeting me with an awkward hug, AT WHAT THE FUCKIN MOMENT DID I LEAVE TO GET MY LUGGAGE?
Charlie mistook my anxious silence for a reluctance to be in Forks. Okay, I admit it, I want to see Forks but everything that happens there leaves me anxious with nerves, poor Charlie, for him everything that is going to happen will be a horror story for him.
Although my situation is complicated, I don't want Charlie to suffer more than necessary. I will do my best to keep things calm, for him and for me.
When we got home, I simply gave the excuse that I was very tired from the trip and stayed in the room. The shadows lengthened on the walls as my thoughts ran in all directions, but in the end, the exhaustion was stronger. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep, hoping that tomorrow would be an easier day.
