Yu Ziyuan had strolled to Lanling to visit her sworn sister Madam Jin. It had been a while since the two of them met and Yu Ziyuan desperately needed to see her sister after the day she had.
Yu Ziyuan had made sure she came on the day Jin Guangshan wasn’t here, her sister’s husband. In Yu Ziyuan’s opinion she never really liked Jin Guangshan as the man made her irk whenever he talked to her. He spoke in a way that made Yu Ziyuan uncomfortable and had tried to casually touch her a few times which almost made Yu Ziyuan lose her self-restraint and attack him.
She was accompanied by her two pearls, Jinzhu and Yinzhu, her servants like they usually would.
She soon reached Golden Carp Tower and was instantly greeted by two Jin servants. She held her chin up high and said, “I’m here to visit your Madam Jin”.
The Jin servants bowed and stepped aside to let her through. She motioned to Jinzhu and Yinzhu who got the message. They bowed and stayed outside and Yu Ziyuan wasted no time in stepping inside.
Golden Carp wasn’t a huge tower and Yu Ziyuan had been here a couple of times to know where to head when she wanted to go to that place so her destination took her a minute to get through. The Jin servants noticed her but didn’t say anything and let Yu Ziyuan go around as she pleased.
The servants were smart enough to not say anything knowing Yu Ziyuan’s reputation as the powerful Violet Spider who struck fear in the hearts of her enemy and her short temper. They knew how close her relationship was with Madam Jin so of course they knew it was okay for her to walk around like this.
Yu Ziyuan had reached to Madam Jin and Jin Guangshen’s shared bedroom and wasted no time in opening it up. A smile had spread across her face when she saw Madam Jin but when she got a closer look and saw that her sister was crying that smile was instantly gone.
Madam Jin was a mess, mascara was running down her face and tears were profoundly streaming down mixed in with Madam Jin’s mascara, her hair was very messy too that it looked like a bird’s nest, she looked nothing like the fierce Golden Eagle who similar to Yu Ziyuan had a sharp mouth and bad temper.
Madam Jin, looked at Yu Ziyuan in surprise, clearly not expecting her sworn sister to be visiting, she looked even more shameful when she realized the state she was in as she clearly never wanted Yu Ziyuan to see her like this.
Knowing she has nothing to hide, Madam Jin weakly calls out to Yu Ziyuan, “A-A-A-Yuan…”
“A-Yu!” Yu Ziyuan called out and rushed forward to Madam Jin quickly enveloping her in a fierce embrace! This act of affection caused Madam Jin to cry even more as she burst out in huge sobs that kept cascading down her cheeks ruining her makeup even more and staining her golden, pristine robes with black droplets.
Yu Ziyuan was absolutely furious! Who dared make her sister cry?! When she finds out who did this she absolutely flay them open with Zidian and crush each and every single bone in their bodies for this sin!
Seeing how upset Madam Jin was, Yu Ziyuan gently asked her, “A-Yu, who did this? Who made you cry?”
Madam Jin was still crying, hiccuping and sobs were wracked within her body but weakly answered Yu Ziyuan’s question, “A-A-Yuan! It’s horrible! Absolutely shameful! He- *sob* HE-”
“He what A-Yu? Who did this?? Don’t tell me it was-” Yu Ziyuan was cut off and Madam Jin bursted out yelling, “ IT WAS HIM! THAT TWO FACED BASTARD JIN GUANGSHAN!! HE CHEATED ON ME WITH A WHORE!!!”

“……..”
“He what??!!” Yu Ziyuan screeched, Saying Yu Ziyuan was furious would be an understatement, this was UNFORGIVABLE! She knew that Jin Guangshan was a wretched person underneath that elegant and polite demeanor, and he cheated on her with a whore??!! Oh that is just…-
“You heard me!! He cheated on me with a fucking prostitute!!! What the hell am I supposed to do now Ziyuan?!” wailed Madam Jin as she buried her tear stained face in her hands weeping by her husband’s betrayal.
Yu Ziyuan couldn’t stand for this, how dare that golden trash cheat on someone as beautiful and charming as Madam Jin! He didn’t deserve someone like Madam Jin by her side, much less even his wife!
Zidian was crackling in Yu Ziyuan’s finger and resisted the urge to twist it, she could almost feel the rage simmer throughout her body, every fiber of her being wanting to march wherever the hell Jin Guangshan was beating him in a bloody pulp. Even killing him wouldn’t do as even death wouldn’t suit someone as pathetic as him.
“What are you going to do?” asked Yu Ziyuan. Madam Jin slowly lifted her head to look at her sister who’s expression darkened.
“A-Yuan-”
“What you are going to do is teach that unforgivable prick a lesson he will never forget!” hissed Yu Ziyuan
“What do you mean teach him a lesson A-Yuan? I can’t do anything against him! He’s the reason I even have all this wealth and glory in the first place!” said Madam Jin angrily, though that anger wasn’t directed to her sister.
“So what? He’s still your husband isn’t he? You can still reprimand him and intimidate him when he tries any funny business can’t you?” asked Yu Ziyuan
Madam Jin thought for a moment and said, “Will that even do anything? Who knows, that whore he fucked probably wasn’t the first person he cheated on me with, and I was too stupid to even realize until it was too late!”
Yu Ziyuan gritted, “Are you really going to let trash like him walk all over you like A-Yu? Have you forgotten who you are?”
“Of course not-” Yu Ziyuan interrupted Madam Jin and continued, “You are the mighty Golden Eagle! You are known to be a powerful female cultivator with high cultivation power and an excellent golden core keeping you young! You are the one who saved 70 people from an ancient bear at the age of 16! You are the Madam of Golden Carp Tower which means you have power A-Yu!”
Madam Jin was astonished by her sister’s speech and could feel the life coming back to her eyes. “Y-You’re right! I am that person, I am the Golden eagle who was able to diminish many of my enemies in the past!”
Yu Ziyuan smirked, “That’s my sister!”
Yu Ziyuan was immensely happy to see Madam Jin smiling again, oh how she missed that precious smile she loved oh so much!
She stuck her hand out to Madam Jin who looked at her in confusion by her gesture, Yu Ziyuan rolled her eyes fondly and spoke, “Let me help you freshen up and then we can stroll around in Lotus Pier eating your favorite Lotus Seed Cakes you love so much”
Madam Jin smiled, “A-Yuan, thank you so much for coming over, I really needed you”
Yu Ziyuan smiled back, “That’s what sisters are for”
