In the far reaches of space, on Galvan Prime, a computer in a lab booted up, displaying a message.
Begin simulation? [Y] N
"Beginning Omnitrix Simulation,” a computerized voice beeps, as the screen flashes to life.
A simulated version of Bellwood is crafted, exactly identical to the real thing. However, it is completely absent of any life. As the city is created, the voice chimes again.
"Incorporating species. Pyronite. Vulpimancer. Petrosapien. Kineceleran. Galvan. Tetramand. Lepidopterran. Piscciss Volann. Galvanic Mechamorph. Ectonurite. Arburian Pelarota. Florauna. Loboan. Thep Khufan. Transylian. Gourmand. Splixson. Opticoid. To’kustar.”
Within seconds, each of these DNA samples is given life. As they become sentient, each know their goal: to be the victor.
Upon the simulation starting, the Pyronite acts first, shooting shot after shot of fire at the Florauna. The plant-based alien growls, before launching its vines at the Pyronite, which are swiftly burnt to a crisp.
Meanwhile, the Galvan takes notice of the enormous To’kustar and instantly knows that it is the biggest threat on the field. Using its small size, it scampers up the leg of the To’kustar.
The Ectonurite lets out a small chuckle as it gazes upon the chaos unfolding, going invisible and intangible to swiftly dodge a punch from the Tetramand. However, the four-armed hulk catches sight of the nearby Petrosapien, and grins as it punches its fist.
The Kineceleran is speeding throughout the city, avoiding conflict if it can. However, it fails to take notice of the Arburian Pelarota, and slams into its back. As the massive alien turns around, both are pelted by disk after disk from a CD player. The speedy reptile escapes, while the yellow ball slams into the machine and destroys it, causing the frustrated Galvanic Mechamorph to leave.
The Opticoid fires lasers from each eye, attempting to hit the Thep Khufan, who is expertly dodging and weaving. The eye-ridden alien concentrates all of its power into a single beam and fires it at the mummy, who ducks. The beam is reflected off of a crystal created by the Petrosapien and back at the Opticoid, hitting it directly in the central eye, blinding it.
Meanwhile, the To’kustar has been possessed by the Ectonurite, and fires lasers every which way. It vaporizes the airborne Lepidopterran and the blinded Opticoid. Then, it leaves the titan’s body, just in time for the sneaky Galvan to get into its ear canal.
The thump of the massive alien’s body echoes across the city, yet is ignored by the Vulpimancer as it tries desperately to catch the digging and duplicating Splixson. Each time it catches one, it splits into two. Eventually, it is overwhelmed by the sea of heat signatures, until it is taken down by a laser from the Galvanic Mechamorph.
However, the techno-organic being is quickly snatched up by the Transylian. In a desperate attempt to fight back, the Mechamorph tries to take control of the electrical pack on the back of the Transylian, only to be fried by a powerful shock of electricity.
A fair distance away, the Florauna’s body is charred to a crisp by the Pyronite, who then reduces the poor plant to ash. However, it fails to notice the bandage-like tendril wrapping around its ankle, which then throws it into the nearby river. The Pyronite’s flames are doused instantly, and as it tries to swim back up to the surface, is torn to pieces by the Piscciss Volann.
The Galvan nimbly hops across the city before being eaten by the Gourmand, who pats its belly in satisfaction. It grins, looking for its next meal, before being knocked into the river by a rolling Arburian Pelarota.
The Tetramand and the Petrosapien are still going toe-to-toe, crystal formations being created as fast as they are broken. Suddenly, the sound of supersonic sound waves fills the air as the Loboan screeches at the two. The Tetramand covers its ears, while the Petrosapien can do nothing but shatter under the harsh noise. The Loboan chuckles, before being punched over the horizon by the red monster.
Suddenly, the city begins to shake. Due to the combined forces of the burrowing of the Splixson copies and the heavy steps of the now-defeated To’kustar, the simulated city begins to crumble. As the city collapses, several pipes burst open, flooding Undertown.
As the combatants fall, each lands on top of one of the roofs in the lower city as the water begins to flood around them.
The Gourmand climbs out of the water with a gasp, flopping down. However, it perks up as it notices the thirty-or-so Splixson duplicates. The copies let out a yelp of fear as the green menace licks its lips.
Some jump into the water to escape the hungry fiend, and are torn to bits by the jaws of the Piscciss Volann. The ones who do not jump are devoured by the Gourmand, until none are left. The Gourmand catches sight of the sopping wet Thep Khufan, and devours it as if it were a plate of spaghetti.
On the roof of a nearby building, a speedy blue reptile is running circles around a red monster as the Tetramand tries to catch it. The Tetramand holds out an arm, just in time for the Kineceleran to run into it, knocking it over.
The Tetramand snatches up the reptile-like alien and throws it into the water, before catching sight of the Transylian. With a strong leap, it jumps to the other roof and the two engage in combat. However, the frankenstein doesn’t stand a chance against the Tetramand’s brute strength, and is thrown over the edge into the water.
The Tetramand relishes in its victory, before getting knocked off the edge by the Arburian Pelarota. Below, in the flooded city, the generator on the back of the Transylian malfunctions in the water, electrifying the water and frying itself, as well as the Tetramand, the Kineceleran, and the Piscciss Volann.
As the Gourmand climbs up on the roof to face the Pelarota, the screen flashes with a warning.
"Three Specimens Remaining,” the voice chimes.
The Pelarota rolls up into a ball and begins to spin, charging up speed, before launching itself towards the Gourmand. The short alien opens its mouth, launching its tendrils towards the incoming orb…
…And swallows it whole. It laughs in victory, gazing upon the defeated bodies of its enemies and the flooded city it stands above. Then, it freezes, before walking to the edge of the roof and jumping into the electrified water below.
The Ectonurite leaves its body before it falls, laughing as it reigns victorious.
"Victory: Ectonurite.” The voice calls, before freezing and powering off.
"Well, that was neat. Now can I remove my arm from this…big metal thing?” Ben groans.
"You wished to see what alien of yours is strongest. That was the entire purpose of this simulator! Although, I only used the aliens from the prototype Omnitrix, when you were 10 years old.” Azmuth tells him.
"That was awesome! But…Ghostfreak? Not Way Big, or Four Arms, or anyone else? Ghostfreak?”
“Despite your initial thoughts, the Ectonurite had a solid chance of winning, though the To’kustar came incredibly close. But now, you must take your leave, shouldn’t you?”
“Oh, shoot! You’re right, I’m supposed to meet up with Gwen, Kevin, and Rook today! See you around, Azmuth!” Ben exclaims, rushing for the door.
“Hopefully not too soon…” the Galvan groans as Ben slams the door. “Now to fix this mess of a machine…”
