For the past couple of weeks, the 118 has been off, Buck and Eddie were out of sink with each other…not being able to read each others minds like normal and Everyone mainly Chim Hen and Bobby were really confused and concerned about their two normally buddy buddy teammates, and there family that was slipping away
Buck had been really distant from Eddie and kinda freaking out when it came to anything that had to do with Eddie like teammate cleaning and definitely physical contact, Buck was avoiding being alone with Eddie no matter what
When they hungout together Chris was always there like a buffer for a fight they didn't even have…Buck even started to act more like a guest in Eddie’s house not using his key or doing stuff without asking…even going to the bathroom
Let’s just say Eddie wasn't happy about all this weirdness and distance with them…Let’s also say that Eddie didnt take Buck’s weird reactions and rejections lightly he started to give Buck the same energy and it made him look uncomfortable and distant about something
All this weirdness cause the team to have silent conversations without the duo about why Eddie was acting weird to Buck and clearly uncomfortable and why Buck was being so distant from Eddie, the idea they came up with had them confused, cause the main thing they could be arguing about was Buck being newly Bi-sexual and making Eddie uncomfortable for some reason?
They didn't think that maybe Buck could be the one causing this weird atmosphere…little did they know that Buck was having some realizations about his feelings for Eddie after one night were he wished it was Eddie between his legs and not Tommy.

They were on a call a little out there normal area, supposedly it was a couple that went cave exploring and the boyfriend fell grabbing his girlfriend breaking his ankle
When they got to the cave Bobby looked at Buck and Eddie and paired them up to get the boyfriend and get him back up, Hen and Chim were already checking the girl for any injuries
Buck and Eddie just looked at each other and grabbed the supplies they needed to get the man out safely, they didn't really say much other then the necessary comments to have everything go perfect
Buck wasn't paying attention and Eddie didn't check Buck’s ropes like he normally did cause Buck kept avoiding it, They started to go down the cave as the girlfriend instructed them
When they saw the man he smiled and thanked them before Eddie checked his foot and put it in a temporary case, Buck then secured the man into some safety ropes and radioed over to Ravi to pull the guy up slowly, when the guy made it to the top Ravi radio back and told them he was pulling up Eddie next
Eddie made an unsure face and Buck just looked away not wanting to talk to him…which made Eddie frown, they then just stared at each other for a moment Blues fighting with browns into Eddie let out a sigh and Buck looked away again
As soon as Ravi started to pull Eddie up they felt a huge shake, throwing them both off and Buck lost his footing, the rope then let go of his weight the not clearly coming undone and he started to fall back deeper into the cave, Eddie quickly looked at him falling and undid his hook making him fall forward with Buck
Eddie grabbed Buck pulling his head into his chest and felt Buck wrap his hands around his neck and Head clearly trying to protect him too, they fell deeper into the cave hitting some rocks and felt it shake harder making some of the rocks above them block them in…they could still breathe but they were definitely blocked in
They heard a bunch of shouts over the radio but Eddie felt his eyes close and Buck was currently tucked into Eddie’s chest tightly feeling pain on his back and legs
---- Buck’s Pov
“Eddie!” I screamed but he didn't move he was holding me so tight I couldn't get free and my other side of my body was stuck against the rocks “What’s wrong with Eddie!? Buck!?” I heard Bobby scream over the Radio, oh right were were on a open Radio they could hear everything
I felt Eddie finally move and he raised up slowly keeping his hands on either side of me “Buck! Are you okay?” He questioned with concern in his brown eyes and I frowned…He unlocked his rope
He purposely made himself fall for..me and what if we die- What about Chris what would happened with him if we did, why did he do this he was normally so good under pressure he must have known this was a suicide idea…
“Are you dumb!” I screamed making his face change from concern to I don't even know he just looked upset “You were secure in your ropes and you unlocked it, you-you idiot” He laughed and backed up a bit more looking at me with anger now
“Wow thanks…its not like I was trying to protect you.” he said and I rolled my eyes “Yeah and look were that got us now Eddie…were both stuck in a fucking cave and we might die did you think about Chris when you-” Eddie snapped screaming at me
“Don’t fucking bring Chris into this!…we wouldn't be in this whole situation if you weren't acting fucking weird!” Eddie breathed out roughly and I bit my lower lip trying not to cry “You didn't let me check your fucking ropes Buck…you-you-” We were cut off by a loud “Buckley-Diaz!” and looked down remembering that we were on an open radio
“Stop fighting and tell us what you see so we can get you out of this situation,” Bobby said with a bit of concern but annoyance in his voice
Eddie explained what he saw and we got a bit away from each other before I frowned again…this was my fault if I didn't have these stupid feelings Eddie wouldn't be in danger of course he came after me he always did
It was silent now other then are breathing and of course the tools we heard from above us, I reached for Eddie’s radio changing it so they couldn't hear us unless we pushed the button and Eddie looked at me confused
“We need to talk.” I said with a bit of sadness in my voice and Eddie looked away but nodded
“Eddie I’m sorry about everything… I've just been so in my head lately, I didn't realize that I was doing this much to our friendship..that I was ruining it” Eddie looked up and sighed
“I’m sorry too, for acting weird around you…i’ve just been” He paused and I froze remembering what Hen and Chim were talking about one night that maybe since I was acting weird and Eddie was being weird that maybe he didn't feel comfortable around me cause I was Bi
“You’re not weirded out cause I'm Bi right…I know you said it was fine but-” Eddie's head snapped up and his brown eyes met mine again “No No don't- Buck I don't care about that You're still the same Buck and I'm not uncomfortable about that”
“I just started to act weird cause you started to pull away and I felt…i don't know like you started to act like a guest at my house actually knocking and not using the key…barely being around and when you were Chris was always there..”
“I just thought maybe you were sick of hanging out with me and only wanted to be there for Chris…like I understand your in a relationship with Tommy and probably wanna be closer to him then with me but it just…it hurt Buck and I-” Eddie looked away again and I paused
“Eddie I could never get sick of you! It isn't like that I swear I was just working through my feelings for Wait pause!” Eddie froze and looked at me confused
“What?” He said and I sighed “Me and Tommy aren't doing that anymore…he was just helping me through some stuff and we decided we be better as friends” Eddie's face did a weird reaction like he looked happy and relieved but that wasn't right…right
He then turned his head like he was thinking about something and it was definitely cute but this wasn't the time to think about that, he then bit his lip confused
“Wait if you and Tommy aren't “together” then who- what feelings are you working threw?” He looked upset again and I just froze I just fucked up.
I sighed realizing that I might as well just tell him…I mean we could die and the worst thing is he's uncomfortable for a while and then we laugh about it in the future
“Uh…my feelings for you.”
I said looking away from Eddie’s eyes and I heard rocks move and felt a hand on my face a second later that confused me, I turned around quickly and was met with brown eyes and him smiling “Fuck…I’m so lucky.” He whispered before he kissed me and I felt the world stop for a moment. Wait what
Oh…shit I kissed him back and put my hands around him, one going to his short hair and running my hand through it like I always wanted to and the other grabbing the back of his shirt tightly, The kiss started slowly but soonly became heated and I was loving every moment of it, his mouth was warm and his lips were soft
Eddie moaned into my mouth and that sound went straight to my gut, I pushed up into him and he moaned again, “Fuck” I whispered into his mouth but he backed up “Buck…not right now.” He said and I pouted, he just kissed me again and smiled
“Just wait till we get home okay?” I nodded and he sighed kissing me again
“Also Evan…if it wasn't obvious I love you.” I looked into his eyes again and smiled kissing him again “I love you too Eds.” I whispered into his lips and he hummed
“Great cause your stuck with me.”
Eddie just laid onto me and we sat there hands entwined into the team got down here and got us out of there, we were quickly checked by Hen who was worried, we only had sight bruising and bad light sensitivity
But we were gonna be fine..
