Hello, one and all!
I’ve been toying with the idea of a place to put miscellaneous stuff I write for a while (I’m not actually sure whether ‘snippets’ are an appropriate name for them - I’m not sure if some of them are short enough, but w/e). The one problem I had is that I didn’t really feel I had enough stuff to put, though. I wanted to at least have a set of five things to post, but although I had one single chapter and a two-parter for the longest time, I couldn’t seem to get those remaining two.
Now, however, I’ve finally managed it - and I’m finally prepared to post this collection. Hopefully it will last beyond these pieces I’ve already gathered, but as long as I can put these up its existence is warranted on its own.
If you don't know who I am, then hello - I'm DepthOfHeart, and I somehow have written 300K words of a smut series over the past year and a half, which has caused me to really think about branching out and writing smaller stuff as well. Let me first say that I DO NOT WRITE COMISSIONS, NOR AM I OBLIGATED TO WRITE ANYTHING PEOPLE ASK OF ME - while I won't stop people from giving suggestions in the comments (because I always enjoy inspiration) I'm saying this up-front so that no one keeps hounding me and demanding I write something for them. If you enjoy my writing, thank you, but I don't do requests.
I will also put up a list of kinks that I am and am not into. First off, here are some no-no’s;
- No male involvement of any kind (there are a thousand other writers for straight content, and quite a few for futa-on-male - if you really want to read something like that, find someone else)
- No rape (there may be some dubious consent from time to time, but hopefully nothing too bad)
- No vore
- No watersports, scat, or other ‘messy’ kinks
- No snuff or necrophilia
- No bestiality
- No bondage
- No tentacles
Next, here are some kinks that I find somewhat acceptable...
- I like mind control as long as it’s more ‘altering sensibilities’ and less ‘mind-controlled slave’
- Very light dom and sub - I'm not very good at writing it, in all honesty
- Exhibitionism - I tend not to like the 'we're having sex and everyone's staring at us' kind of scenes, but I do enjoy sex scenes where everyone treats the exhibitionism as completely normal - and I've discovered I'm fairly fine writing 'we could be discovered at any time' type scenes because I control the tension in them.
Finally, here are some kinks that I’m fully into
- Yuri and futa (as should be obvious if you've read any of my other works. This is what you should expect in anything I write)
- Anthro/furry
- Breast, butt, dick, and general body expansion (giantess included)
- Hyper proportions
- Lolicon
- Incest
Now that that's out of the way, here’s how things are going to work in terms of these first five pieces - one, as I mentioned, is a single chapter, while the remaining four are a set of two-parters. I’m keeping their fandoms a secret for now (mostly because I always get annoyed when I find a work on Ao3 that has a bunch of tags but no actual story yet), but I will say none of them are an original work.
The schedule will be as follows:
Saturday, November 12th: I post this introduction
Sunday, November 13th: I post the one piece that’s a single chapter. This one is…unique in that it’s actually the very first smut scene I ever wrote - originally planned to be the first chapter of a series before I decided I wasn’t really feeling it. It’s both rather short and also not that great in terms of quality, but I felt it would be fun to post it regardless, as in my opinion it’s not so bad that it should remain forgotten forever.
Thursday, November 17th: I post the first half of Two-Parter #1. This one had also originally been written as part of a series, but once again, I decided I wasn’t really feeling it - though I should mention it was less because I didn’t like the concept and more I wasn’t a fan of the format I’d decided on. I do feel it stands up very well on its own, however - although the kinks involved may not be for everyone.
Sunday, November 20th : I post the first half of Two-Parter #2. This is the one that I recently finished, and I am very, very proud of it - it stands at nearly 17K words altogether over its two parts, and although it too could eventually be a full series if I decide to make it such, it will also work just fine on its own. Side note, however: the first half will have NO NSFW CONTENT WHATSOEVER - that’ll all be in the second half.
Thursday, November 24th: I post the second half of Two-Parter #1.
Sunday, November 27th: I post the second half of Two-Parter #2. This one will actually have NSFW content, as opposed to the first half.

And, while I will make no promises, there is in fact a third two-parter that I am currently working on. The first half of that is currently finished, and I will probably start writing the second half of it soon - and though I make no promises that it will be completed, if I do then it at the very least will probably take less time than Two-Parter #2, which as mentioned was pretty mammoth in length. And, unlike all the stuff currently planned to be released, which have various reasons for not being made into a series, if I have the motivation to write more chapters, the possible Two-Parter #3 will absolutely be given its own separate thing once its third chapter has been written.
In any case, I hope that there will be some who want to give my smaller works a read! And I hope to write some more of these in the future!
