Zane

since I'm still working out my introduction to my rewrite I'm going to post things about characters that will be in the rewrite

pdh Zane design

Zane's natural hair color is blonde but they dye it black

they have very bad eye sight and wears contacts because they don't like glasses

they wear eyeliner mascara eyeshadow and lipstick when they are not wearing their mask

they are 5 foot 2

they have waist length hair but puts it in a bun

they wear chokers (does anyone else get the vibe zane would wear a choker....no just me)

they go by all pronouns but prefers they/them

zenixs is my favorite I've done so far

zenix has big spikey hair that looks like a porcupine

they dye their hair a lot mainly red and fusha

they need glasses or contacts. most of the time they wear contacts (I'm pretty sure the contacts thing is actually canon since in pdh zenixs eyes go from being brown to being red)

there is a chunk taken out of zenixs right ear even in his human form and wolf form

they like to wear gene and Sasha (and sometimes dantes) clothes because they are really comfy, they smell like them and they look great on him

i have decided that my rewrites "main characters" will be zane and aphmau but the others characters will still get plots for just them they just wont be as big.

secondary main characters will be garroth Laurence vylad Janus Lilian(from the jury of nine since there are multiple lilies) Zoey Aaron (if i can write his character better than the cannon version if not he will be moved down to secondary character) balto (balto will be an antagonist) the shadow knights Lucinda and Dante

the secondary characters are the rest of the jury Katelyn Nana Travis Kacey most of the characters parents cadenza ein(ein will advance to secondary character if i rewrite emerald secret) blaze dottie denial

these are all the characters that will be important to the story

ships for the rewrite

there will be categories of ships the categories are ships that will happen ships that might happen or ships that will happen but will end in disaster

besides his ears and tail Dante doesn't have many werewolf traits

since Dante doesn't have werewolf teeth but his mouth is made for them he has horrible teeth problems and he has braces

I've decided gene in my rewrite is a sweetheart their not creepy or disgusting just a sweet baby

they are very protective of their friends and little brother and sometimes gets into fights especially when one of his shadow knight's or Dante is getting picked on or hurt

they can still have drama with aphmau but he wont be so creepy about it (especially since she's their cousin) maybe just some arguing and some pranks

the shadow knights mainly just skip school and ignore everyone else they aren't so violent and horrible they just don't like people and prefer to be alone with each other

the shadow knights usually try to interact with people indirectly like over the phone or through notes (they all have some really bad social anxiety)

if the shadow knights do interact with anyone directly then they probably are telling someone to stay away from them or you are Dante and they like you

i just thought of some random shadow knight and now its in my rewrite

zenix is German and Russian and when their really angry or excited they will start swearing and screaming in Russian or German

zenix taught gene and Sasha Russian and German

Sasha is French and Dutch and taught gene and zenix French and Dutch

(i am renaming aphmau to Akemi because my autocorrect hates the name aphmau and i don't really like the name)

they usually has stickers on her clothes (her shoes her selves Etc.)

she has a ear piercing and a belly button piecing that sylvanna does not know about and that she may or may not have gotten from her older cousin gene

they have tones of friendship bracelets from Travis vylad garroth Laurence Katelyn nana Lucinda and Aaron once they start getting along (if she becomes friends with zane she might get on from them)

she wears a lot of anime hodies and her back pack is covered in anime stickers

i changed my mind about Janus's Hight in my rewrite since i made them a quarter giant after i designed them their hight is not accurate. so janus is now 7 foot 9 in pdh and 8 foot 2 in fcu

they hate doors because they have a very hard time fitting through them

janus and garroth have a club dedicated to destroying doors

Lucinda

i completely forgot about redesigning Lucinda until i was doing a "understand my ship in five minutes" that involved her.

she has it in a ponytail most of the time because he hair is constantly going in her face

i would love to do a Maria (as in gene and dantes mom not maria from pdh) redesign but the only thing i would be changing is that she's a werewolf...so here some Maria headcanons

Maria is a single mom

she was with her ex (gene and Dante's dad) for about ten years before they broke up

is she saw her ex again she would deck him

she knows karate

she loves cooking (she taught gene and Dante to cook)

she loves to garden she gardens a lot with Dante and gene

she owns a flower shop (in pdh it is suffering and she is having a very hard time keeping it open)

she is not home often because she has to work so much

she is Spanish

in pdh she is very upset that she cant be around her boys very much because she's always working

she has adopted all of the shadow knights plus Travis

she loves to watch horror movies with gene and romances with dante when she's not working

she loves cats and dogs she always takes in strays

gene's magic

gene is a magic user in mcd right. cause he can mess with peoples memories but he isn't one in mystreet (for some reason). Dante is genes brother but has no magic in either world (I don't understand why he has no magic cause magic dante sounds cool)

in my rewrite should i make gene a magic user

and if i do make gene a magic user should i give Dante magic

if i do give Dante magic as well i could give to Dimitri and i could make a magic baby

if i do give gene magic should it still memory magic or a different type

jury and shadow knights collections

zane collects knives, not for any reason they just like them. they collect chefs knifes, pocket knifes any type of knife really.

they have a few ornate knives that they got from garroth and vylad for birthdays charismas.

zenix loves to collect guns old guns new guns but he does especially love vintage ones. he also does taxidermy

lilian collects masks not face masks, masks like these

i though it would be fitting since in mcd she is the masked man

zenix and sasha are legally married in fcu not because they are in love but because they want the tax benefits.

if i write fcu the only thing this will have effect on is when sasha or zenix get home they'll say "honey I'm home"

gene fell very left out of this marriage since gene wanted to merry one of them for tax benefits

i want to give gene a lover or two and i cannot decide who he should be with I've gone through so many character lists and i could only find three character that i want him to date that would work in my rewrite

(whenever i refer to the ro'meave brothers relationship with each other i mean their brotherly relationship this is not an incest post)

why is it i can make zane be mean to anyone literally anyone except for vylad,

i can write zane pranking and teasing vylad but i cannot make him be actually mean when i do it makes me really sad.....anyways garroth and zanes realationship gets a lot of attention but vylad and zane or vylad and garroths relationship doesn't get as much.

so zane and vylad relationship headcanons.

My zane and vylad relationship are very different from cannon zane and vylads.

in my rewrite if we aren't counting Janus, vylad is the person zane closest to because zane knows vylad would never hurt them. zane is also close with vylad because zane knows vylad won't push them like the rest of their family does.

they both love to play video games, when they want (or have) to spend brotherly bonding time together they play video games

their favorite thing to play is world of Warcraft

when they spend time together outside the house they usually either go to the mall because there's arcades there or they go to the movies

they like going to bakeries whenever they go they get a dozen box of cupcakes and split it

vylad often takes zanes hoodies to wear since according to vylad "Their more comfy"

zane is very very sickly (as in they have lung problems bad joint pain they also get very fatigued and there have been times where zane cant move much or at all)

because of their bad health zane has had to spend up to a few months in the hospital when they were younger though usually in pdh this is not warranted and zane usually just has to stay home for a couple of days. when this happens vylad won't leave zanes side, vylad will make sure zane drinks enough water is comfy enough and eats enough

zane and vylad tend to protective of each other mainly because they have both been bullied fairly badly

they both love to pull pranks on people especially on garroth

zane does vylads makeup and is in the process of teaching vylad how to do makeup

zane also does vylads hair

vylad carries a pair of glasses with him at all times for zane

zane and vylad like to draw together

things zane would kick someone in the balls for doing he lets vylad get away with just a stink eye

Janus's redesign redesign

I've decided i don't really like to redesign characters that aren't going to be in the rewrite and since i cant have two Janus's (unfortunately) I'm going to see which of my redesigns people like better so i would really appreciate if some of my followers or anyone in general told me which one is better

there is a good chance that I'll keep the new redesign

i don't really watch mcd because i don't really like it but i do watch some of the videos such as the ones with Janus is mentioned/seen. and i decided to watch "the jury's bane" and after watching that i went to the mcd rebirth episode "what it takes to be a king" and i realized something Janus doesn't look right (to me at least) he doesn't look like someone who would be the monster of tu'la or Zane's favorite juror honestly he sorta reminds me of garroth in a way

a terrifying monster should not look so cute (also i do not hate Janus's design any means in fact i really like it i just don't think it fits them)

in my rewrite i mainly kept the basis of Janus's design because Janus does not have much of a personality since we only saw Janus once so i wanted to keep that but i really wanna go crazy with a character redesign without having to keep certain things so i decided I'm going to COMPLETELY redesign Janus

in my rewrite a lot of different families knew each other for instance the Ro'meaves and shalashaska family have had ties since zianna and sylvanna were in high school.

in my rewrite sylvanna and zianna practically raised their kids together.

sylvanna and zianna never moved away from each other and garroth ane and vylad never forgot who Akemi was because they were neighbors their whole life

this also led to the Ro'meaves meeting Akemis cousins and aunt gene dante and maria oceans

Garroth met Laurence when he was in daycare and Zianna ended up befriending both of Laurence's fathers hayden and joh. so zianna would have the zvahls over which led to the meeting cadenza

this also led to the shalashaska family meeting the zvahls

Garte met Caelus Silverdeath when they met to discuss a business deal and they ended up working together and becoming friends. this led to zianna meeting Caelus's wife Terra Silverdeath. zianna and terra formed a frenemy relationship. eventually the Ro'meave brothers met the silverdeath children Janus, Saturn and Opis

(does anyone notice the silverdeath family name references also janus's siblings will get designs after i finish cadenzas one)

the shalashaska and zvahl family also ended meeting the silverdeaths

garte met Dereck Lycan while they were both in university and became friends (and maybe a bit more ;) ) and after they both got married their wives became friends and their children ended up being close (less so with Aaron)

The Lycans also met the silverdeath family the shalashaska family and the Zvahl family

all of the families are still in contact and have get togethers quite often

racism in my rewrite

tw for fantasy racism as well as mentions of hate crimes and police brutality

there are a few different races in the world of my rewrite. in my rewrite some of the races have less rights then others and some get worse living conditions then others

this list goes from witch race has the least stigma to witch has the worst stigma

humans

elves

fairies

humans have hardly any stigma against them but there are some other non humans who think humans should not have as much control as they do.

elves are fairly close to humans except for having pointy ears and being somewhat magically connected to the earth. though they are quite similar to humans they still get mistreated often. they usually dont live in elf towns and not human filled places because its harder to be an elf and get a job and house if they life in a human town

witches are human passing so often witches live in human towns. there is a stigma that all witches are evil and not to be trusted so they have harder times getting jobs with human employers.

meif'wa are often mistreated and degraded. there is a lot of stigma to meif'wa's working because they are stereotyped to be stupid and ditzy. there is a decent amount of crimes against meif'was though this is mainly ignored by police

werewolves are thought of as violent sub humans with no control of themselves they are often targeted by police. they have a hard time getting jobs because of the stigma against them and when they do get a job they are most of the time underpaid. in my rewrite it has only recently become a crime to kill a werewolf.

giants aren't often seen by non giants since it is illegal for giants to live outside of the designated giant territory(this rule is occasionally bended if a giant human hybrid is born and the hybrid is closer to human then giant), disobeying the territory law is punishable by death. if a human were to go on to giant territory that would not be illegal. on occasion giants are killed by hunters for sport. there is no penalty for killing a giant.

being a vampire is illegal. if a vampire is found they are killed. even with this law there are a few vampires still around but not many. if a human is turned into a vampire they are to be killed.

fairies were eradicated years ago but before they were they were known to be violent horrible creatures. they were often hunted and sold on the black market.

feral baby

if i do all of the aphmau seasons then Dimitri won't appear till the end of pdh or maybe even till fcu but I'm still gonna write some stuff about him

Dimitri is feral he bites kicks punches and screams in his first few years of living (its one of the reasons everyone knows its Zenix's kid)

the shadow knights are the only ones who can babysit Dimitri not because Dante and Zenix don't trust anyone else but because Sasha and gene are the only ones who will come back another time

Zenix and Dante once got Akemi and Travis to babysit and they came home to paint on the walls and Travis and Akemi crying in the corner (they were not allowed to babysit again)

gene spoils Dimitri whenever he can

Maria gets Dimitri to help with her garden because Dimitri really likes to dig holes in the ground

when Dimitri really likes someone he'll go up to them and bite them not hard just chew on them a bit

Dimitri loves cookies there his favorite deserts on birthdays he gets cakes topped with cookies

Dimitri learned how to role away from his parents when he was 5 months old and learned how to run away a 1 year old (Zenix is very proud and Dante is very terrified)

anyways these were all the Dimitri headcanons i could think of

neckoette

i just remembered nekoette exists and I'm not sure how to fit her into my rewrite because Dante and Zenix start dating when they are 16 and have Dimitri when their about 18 to 19.

so if Neckoette existed she would have to be born before Zenix and Dante get together which would mean Neckoette would be older then Dimitri.

Dimitri is supposed to be Neckoettes older brother and I don't really want to mess with their ages because i know I'll forget whos older

i came up with a few options and if anyone doesn't mind i would really some feedback on them

A i do the same thing i did with Dimitri and make neko zenixs kid

B Neko is Nana's daughter and someone's else kid

C Dante starts a poly relationship with nana and zenix (i dont like this one because i dont like the ship and i feel like it would be really forced and i would only make it happen so neko would exist)

D neko does not exist (i would like her to exist i'm going to add some of the other mcd kids eventually but this is still an option)

Vylad is not the only illegitimate child in the family in fact Vylad wasn't even the first

Vylad was probably the third illegitimate child

Zianna and Garte both have their affairs

every time zianna was pregnant it was a guess of if it was Garte's child, even zianna was never sure

between garroth and zane zianna and garte are only sure garroth is gartes. as for zane they are about 50% sure garte is zanes father

Balto would only be with a human if they were turned into a werewolf and even then would still consider them a lesser being for being born a human

Balto dated Gene in his sophomore year and Genes freshmen year. they did not have a good relationship and broke on bad terms and they are both VERY bitter about it (one of the reasons they broke up was because of Balto hating half blooded werewolves since Gene is a half blooded werewolf)

Janus rewrite facts

Janus fact number 1, Janus is supposed to be sophomore but they nearly failed out of school and were held back a year as a freshmen.

ultima question

so i was thinking about Jacob (Aarons son in mcd) and i decided i eventually want to bring him into my rewrite to see how Aaron would parent a child who was the ultima would Aaron do what Derek did would he give Jacob freedom would he confine to his room as much as possible then i thought of a question can there be more then one ultima

to the best of my knowledge we never saw Derek go ultima we heard about happening before Aaron was born but never after so i was wondering is Derek just really good at controlling it or is he not the ultima anymore,

lets say that when a son is born to a ultima the curse leaves the parent and goes to the child,

Derek is already a bad person and parent but if that's the case that makes Derek so much worse and so much more selfish. Derek did not have to have kids and if he did he could have stopped Melisa without passing down the curse (the curse does not go to girls) but he didn't he had another child Aaron. if this how the curse works maybe this was Derek's way of getting rid of the curse for himself. maybe he had Aaron for the soul purpose of getting rid of his own curse.

BUT most likely I'm over analyzing things and Derek just good at controlling himself and i missed something anyways someone let me know if i'm wrong. either way this could be an interesting concept.

2 mind manipulation magic (its basically making the person the magic being used on hallucinate, though it is more common then mind control it is still not as common as mind reading. this is Dimitris magic) the color of scars for mind manipulation are violet

3 mind control (erasing memories and replacing memories, this is the least common and most dangerous type of mind magic. this is the type of magic gene has) the color of scars for mind control is dark purple

the two fire magics subsections are

1 fire magic (this means starting fires and controlling fires. this is the most common fire magic. about 85% of fire magic users have this type. this is the type of magic Lucinda has) the color of scars for fire magic is fiery color

2 lava magic (this is the least common magic user of this subsection. bringing lava up from under ground and if the user is very powerful creating lava. all lava magic users are immune to lava. lava users are born when a earth magic user and a fire magic user has a child) the color of scars for lava magic is dark red

nature/earth subsections

1 the most common subsection is growth magic (making things like flowers and trees grow) the color of scars for growth magic is light green

2 water communication (this is where someone can communicate with water animals) the color of scars for water communication is dark blue

emotion magic has no subsections

(emotion magic is where a magic users magic is tied to their emotions if its a strong emotion their magic is strong and dangerous. this is Ivan's magic) the color of scars for emotion magic is all colors it switches depending on the emotion of the user

light magic

(light magic is the most powerful magic known to man only rivaled by dark magic. light magic was possessed by the divine warriors and Irene. light magic could reverse damage and bring life back. light magic has not been seen or used for hundreds of years.) the color of scars for light magic is white

Zane rewrite fact

in my rewrite Zane has no pupil. it is not usually noticeable because Zane has contacts that give him a pupil......he just doesn't have one for totally no reason at all.........there totally no reason for Zane not to have a pupil......no reason ......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... well maybe there's a reason.

shadow knight

after i decided to make the shadow knights more chill and not have them stalk, harass and abuse other people, I realized they probably wouldn't have the reputation of being scary and dangerous but i sorta want to keep their reputation so i decided to give them a reason to be feared.

it's Gene Sasha and Zenix's freshmen year, Balto is probably the toughest person in the school, as well as the main werewolf alpha of the school.

Trigger Warning for abuse

Gene ended up dating Balto during this time (Zenix introduced them) after about five months and Gene being in a relationship that reminded of his parents relationship (verbal, physical and mental abuse) as well as help from zenix and Sasha, they broke up.

this pissed Balto off so he took it out on Zenix since Zenix introduced them and since Zenix is his cousin and in his mind Zenix was one of the people who MADE Gene leave him so, Balto broke Zenix's arm leg nose and some ribs.

after Gene found out what happened he was seeing RED in Genes mind people could mess with him people could hurt him but you do not hurt one of Gene's family members and get away with it.

next time Gene saw Balto at school he beat him half to death. breaking bones leaving bruises and knocking out teeth. the only reason Gene didn't do worse was because he pulled of by teachers.

after that people were to scared to do anything to or about the Shadow Knights.

Zane's health

i'm going to write about Zane's health when was a infant and a child because it will give some insight to Garte's actions in some of my rewrite

Zane was born 3-4 months early and was not expected to survive since Zane's lungs were to weak to breath properly.

for the first four months of Zane's life he was in the hospital, after the four months Zianna and Garte were aloud to take Zane home but they come back at minimum twice a month to monitor Zane's health

Zane was also born with very very weak joints, it was so bad that Zane's bones would dislocate if Zane moved the wrong way.(this has gotten much better at the time of pdh)

Zane was born with very weak muscles. this made it very hard for Zane to move when he was younger, at times if Zane's muscles were strained enough it would be nearly impossible for Zane to move.

When Zane was five his lungs collapsed and he was on life support. the doctors told Zianna and Garte that it was a one in a million chance of Zane recovering and it would be best to unplug him, Garte refused to let his child die and decided to look for "different" ways of helping Zane and eventually. Garte friend and next door neighbor Zack introduced Garte to someone who help Zane.

after the "doctor" helped Zane he was back to normal . Zane continued having "sessions" with this "doctor" and Zane's health improved, Zane stilled had the same problems but instead of having to be confined his bedroom and not being aloud to go outside incase he passed out or had another health problem he could now leave his room, play with his brothers and play outside he just had to be careful.

the health problems never went away Zane still could not overwork his body in fear of having to the hospital. no sports, no dancing(Zane loves dancing) and no straining activates. (Zane at times has to use a cane or a wheel chair. Mainly a cane)

in my rewrite okasis prep middle school, okasis prep middle school is very prestigious and you can only get in if you are part of a rich family so okasis prep middle school is mainly full of rich bratty kids.

the Ro'meave brothers used to go to okasis prep middle school. they stopped going a year after Vylad started. In my rewrite it's even more obvious then in cannon that Vylad is Garte's son because vylad in my rewrite is black and part elf.

tw for bullying, racism and assault

when Vylad started Okasis prep middle school he started getting bullied a lot for being an illegitimate child and not human. Garte and Zianna pulled Vylad, Zane and Garroth out of the school after Vylad had his arm, nose, leg and some ribs broken by some classmates.

before this Vylad, Zianna and Garte tried to get teachers involved to stop the bullying, the teachers said Vylad needed to toughen up.

and this is why the Ro'meave brothers go to phoenix drop instead of okasis prep
