Chapter Text
Lloyd flexed his white wings with annoyance, his annoyed glare was burning holes into his cousins skull.
Morro sat, watching with a confused frown, taking the book he had been reading and quietly placing it on the small wooden table besides him. "I'm sorry what?"
Lloyd's eye twitched, tail swaying behind him, "I asked if you took the scroll my mom gave me to study yesterday."
Morro sighed heavily, "no Lloyd I haven't seen your scroll, I haven't even been to your room." Hearing her spirit handlers heavy sigh Sisu pulled herself out from Morro's dark green folded wings and onto his shoulder.
Sisu was a relatively long white dragon with gold, black, and green markings littered down her spin and across her face. Small light grey wings with dark green highlights where folded neatly above her shoulders.
(Basically think of that wind dragon from season 9)
Sisu purred while pushing her snout into Morro's cheek, give him a little dragon kiss.
Lloyd sighed, pulling out a chair from in front of Morro and sitting down, "If mom found out I misplaced that scroll and got absolutely nothing done she's going to ground me."
Morro gave a sympathetic smile to his younger cousin, "Maybe one of the maids took it back to the Library?"
"No one came to my room today, is not a cleaning day." Lloyd answered dejectedly.
"Maybe you can find a new copy?"
Lloyd gave him a look, "Where am I supposed to find a second original copy of 'human dragon peace treaty'?" Lloyd asked incredulously.
Morro blinked.
"Let me get this straight," Morro corrected his posture by sitting straight, "You're mother gave you the original copy of the 'human dragon peace treaty', and you lost it?"
Lloyd squirmed nervously in his seat, his tail curling around his leg tightly before releasing and repeating.
"I didn't lose it-" he received a hard glare, "I just misplaced it is all." Lloyd laughed nervously, clawed hands twitching together.
Morro gave another sigh before snuggling back in with Sisu, "You should tell your mom you lost it."
"I didn't los-"
Morro wacked Lloyd's leg with his tail shutting him up, "She'll find out eventually."
"Why do you always have to be right?" Lloyd mumbled almost inaudibly, Morro smirked hearing most of it but said nothing.
Morro got up with a sigh, "I'll go with you come on."
Lloyd looked like he wanted to jump out of the window and not fly then join Morro to find his mother.
Morro rolled his eyes grabbing Leaf, Lloyd's adopted mechanical dragon; off of a pillow and placing him on Lloyd's head. Leaf purred loudly, curling his long green tail around Lloyd's waist and placing his green head on Lloyd's shoulder.
(Leaf is Lloyd's mech dragon from the movie)
Lloyd pushed his cheek on top of Leafs head before walking after his cousin, Sisu had gone back to her original place, watching Lloyd from Morro's folded wings behind him.
Both boys walked out of the room into the halls of the castle, taking a right they both made their way in the direction of the library.
"What if your dad has another-"
"No." Morro said immediately shooting Lloyd's idea out of his bubble.
Lloyd huffed, "And why not?"
Morro stoped and turned around, "Because my dad will immediately tell your mom, and I know for a fact that if your mom gets this information from an outside source she's going to flip."
Lloyd looked down at his bare feet, small golden and green scales worked there way down his leg. He huffed and kicked at nothing before walking ahead of his cousin.
The pair walked past the library and took a left turn, heading to the castle gardens. The castle garden was a large plot of land in the shape of a rectangle; filled with many beautiful plants, flowers, and shrubs.
Lloyd walked around the garden under the patio taking the longer route to get to his mother's study, Morro followed after Lloyd not saying a thing.
"What are you planning to tell her?" Morro asked walking behind Lloyd.
Lloyd abruptly stopped, Morro saw it coming and stoped before hand.
The blonde turned around with nervous grin, "Uh, I'm not exactly sure."
Morro pinched his brow with a sigh, "Why are you like this?"
Lloyd smiled nervously, running his hand up and down his arm, "Maybe I should just, I don't know; not say anything?"
Morro rolled his eyes, "If you do that she'll never let fly again. Your wing just healed so let's not not tell her, okay?" Lloyd kicked at the floor before turning around and heading to his mother's study.
"Look at the bright side, of you do it fast enough you might be able to sway the punishment a bit." Morro nudged his shoulder into Lloyd's, Lloyd growled in retaliation before walking faster to get away from his cousin; only to immediately backtrack and walk slowly up the stairs to the large wooden doors; his mother's study.
Lloyd gulped audible, "You wanna knoc-" looking behind him he noticed Morro had stayed at the bottom of the ten or so stairs instead of following him. Morro nodded his head at the door, ushering Lloyd in without words.
Lloyd's frown deepened, "Traitor." He muttered before knocking loudly on the door, After a few seconds he heard his mother's muffled voice through the door.
The young dragon hybrid pushed
open the large wooden doors, Leaf; who was sound asleep the whole time woke up with a yawn and nudged Lloyd's cheek giving him a boost of moral.
Walking down the small hallway, which was covered in bookshelves on both sides, he came to a large desk, several scrolls and books where laid open on its surface. Koko was seated on the seat behind the desk, a book in hand, her medium sized metallic wings shimmered in the light the window behind her provided, red hair was pulled into a high pony tail on her head; her metallic helmet was hung on the seat behind her; her spirit dragon was sleeping soundly on a pillow nearby.
Koko places the book down and smiled warmly at her son, "Hi baby, what's up?"
Lloyd rubbed his arm while his tail swayed anxiously behind him, "Uh, mom."
"Yes darling? What's wrong?"
"Uh you know that scroll you gave me to study?" Lloyd said looking anywhere but his mother, the tiled floor looked very nice at the moment; oh, was that scratch always there?
Koko tilted her head in confusion, "Yes of course I do, what about it?"
The young dragon mumbled an answer his mother couldn't hear, "Speak clearly Lloyd."
Lloyd took a deep breath, "I lost it."
Koko blinked at Lloyd, "Lost it?"
The blonde dragon pup's pointed ears began to sink low, he nodded mutely.
She pushed herself out of her chair and walked up to her son, Lloyd wouldn't meet her gaze so she lifted his chin, "Baby you didn't lose it, I took it back. Garmadon thought it was to boring for you so he asked me to exchange it for something else."
Lloyd's eyes widened, "Wait- I didn't lose it!?"
Koko laughed, "No baby, it's right here see?" She reached behind her and plucked one of the many scrolls off of her desk.
Lloyd could have fainted with joy at that moment, he wasn't going to be grounded for the rest of his life! He could fly when ever he wanted now.
Giving Koko a tight hug he happily walked out of her study to let her finish what ever she was doing, waiting at the bottom of the stairs was Morro who was talking to Nya.
Nya was a young water dragon, her spirit dragons name was Wojira, she is snake like dragon which glowed in the dark, Lloyd found her very interesting, Wojira was just a bit hard to handle and stubborn at times.
Seeing Lloyd walk down the stairs Morro waved goodbye to Nya before walking up to his cousin. Nya waved at Lloyd before continuing on her way down to the training baracks.
"So how'd it go?" Morro asked walking besides Lloyd into the gardens and sitting down on the grass.
Lloyd absently picked a blade of grass, "Apparently she took it this morning, something about dad saying it would bore me to much."
"I mean he's not wrong, it was the 'Human Dragon Peace treaty'." Morro said with a laugh.
Lloyd stood up from the floor and held out a hand for Morro, "Hey, first one to the library gets to read treasure planet first."
Morro grined, both fangs showing proudly, "Oh your on gummy bear."

Chapter Text
Day of the departed.
It's a day full of trick or treating, cosplaying, candy, and spending time with family until the late night when you'd sit down and light a lantern for your passed relatives.
Sadly for Lloyd, today ment lots of scary Unexpected things popping up, he didn't exactly hate day of the departed, don't get him wrong he got loads of candy and he could hide behind a costume all night, but it wasn't his favorite holiday, Dragon day took that title and wore it with pride.
So when Morro's friend group decided to join the Garmadon family this year for the holiday Lloyd had a towel thrown in his plans.
Kai and Nya both went with their parents to Ignacia city to celebrate the holiday with their respective families, Jay went with his biological father to catch up on lost time, that left Cole and Zane in the city, but this year they both had plans; so Lloyd's plan was to just stay home and just do nothing.
So someone had to understand his surprise when Brasha knocked on his door before walking right in and asked if he'd like to join them to the haunted house down near the beach.
"So you coming on not?" Brasha asked pushing some of her dark purple hair out of her face, her voice was scratchy and she was pulling a blue blanket looking thing around her face like a mask, she had; for some strange reason Lloyd couldn't figure out, painted her face a dark green color.
Lloyd rubbed his neck before answering, "I don't know brasha, I'd hate to ruin your night, if they see me, they'd turn us away at the door." His disappoinment was quite clear in his voice.
Brasha smiled under her hood, "Oh don't worry about that lil man we'll dress you up as a ghost, so you can join out little ghost party, come on Lilith is doing Morro's makeup, I can do yours if you'd like."
Lloyd brightened, going out and not having to worry about people bothering him for no reason? Heck yeah count him in.
So here he was following behind Brasha to the main living room where everyone else was, each with their own version of a ghost. Raine was sitting on the seat next to the glass door, he was wearing a blue head covering with a purple bandana holding it in place, plastic chains where wrapped around his waist like a belt, Hunter's was much the same, except he had a skull mask underneath his hood.
Lloyd looked at Gully who was sitting on the floor petting the cat, "Why is Gully wearing one of Uncle Wu's straw hats?"
Gully looked up when he heard his name, "He say he doesn't like Gully's hair, so gave me this hat."
Lloyd giggled a bit, "Aw I like your hair."
Gully smiled behind his skull mask while ruffling Lloyd's hair, Lloyd laughed in delight.
"Alright Gull let the runt go, I have eyeliner to do." Brasha said with a dramatic flair, she had a pen in her right hand.
"Aw heck no, leave him alone." Morro said, Lilith had his chin in her hand moving his head around to look at her work.
Brasha waved him off before pulling Lloyd and seating him on the coffee table, "Alright just look up and let be do my thing."
After about an hour everyone was just about ready to head out, Morro was wearing what Lloyd dubbed the 'homeless emo ghost', he had dark green eyeliner and eyeshadow around his eyes, giving him a creepy vibe; he also wore a sage green cape.
"Alright losers let's go!" Brasha yelled while waving her car keys in the air.
Lloyd figeted with the wrap around his head, "are you sure I should go? What if they recognize me?"
Hunter walked up to him and patted his shoulder, "Don't worry about it squirt, if they do recognize you; which I sure as hell don't think they will, we'll go do something else."
Lloyd frowned, Hunter was right; how would they recognize him? he basically just looked like Morro but with darker eyeliner, A black hood was over his head that he could flip on and off as he pleased, he was wearing a green long sleeved shirt with his black jeans and his favorite pair of green shoes. "Alright, let's go."
~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~
Lloyd has never regretted anything so much in his life, now that he was inside the haunted mansion house thing he wished more then ever the person up front recognized him.
He was currently hiding behind Gully and screaming at everything that happened.
A jump scare. A Yelp.
A random object being thrown in his direction. A yell.
An object that had been thrown and missed him by a mile. Little girl Scream.
So Lloyd was fed up with it once they hit the middle marker which split in two ways, "someone owes me a butt ton of candy!" Lloyd yelled over the speakers playing zombie like groans.
Morro turned around with a forced smile on his lips, "Yeah sure, I'll get yo- AHHHH!" Morro was cut off by a person in a bloody costume jumping right at him. Morro instinctively hid behind the first thing ahead of him, which happened to be Lilith.
"I hope you don't plan on being behind me all night." Lilith said rolling her eyes with a fond smile.
Morro sputtered before walking next to her, "What? Of course not, I was just watching your back." A light pink blush covered his cheeks. Lilith chuckle but said nothing and continued walking.
"Morro you're being a wimp!" Hunter called from the back of the group. Brasha was kneeling down and poking at a 'severed' hand.
"Am not!"
"Are too."
"Boy why don't you come up here!"
"Oh I wil-"
The lights sudden going off cut them all off, all noise went with it.
"Why lights go?" Gully asked, he pulled Lloyd next him.
"Bro this is so cool." Brasha said, you could hear the smile on her lips.
"No it's not!" Morro retorted with a whine, he was probably behind Lilith again.
"Will all of you shut up! Someone give me a light." Lilith said looking for her phone.
A light turned on behind Lloyd, hunter had pulled his phone out of his pocket and is now using it as a flashlight, moving the light around to see and found nothing of value, more lights soon joined the first.
Lilith stared walking forward and the rest followed behind, "You think the power went out?" Brasha asked after a few minutes of walking.
"Unlikely, this is probably part of the house." Hunter replied walking behind her.
Lloyd didn't like it here anymore, hell he didn't like it here when he walked in but now it just got thirty times worst. He didn't like the adrenaline he got here, it was nothing like the adrenaline he got while on the back of his mech fighting his father, this adrenaline just consisted of his heart beating so fast it felt like it was going to break his ribs. "I don't like it here." Lloyd whined out loud, Gullt rubbed his arm comfortingly.
Morro sighed in front of him, "Finally someone says something! I agree with Lloyd 100%, I want to leave and never come back. Why am I even here?!"
"Bro shush! This is so cool." Brasha replied with a snark.
"No it's not! I feel like my heart is jumping out of my ribs! This can not be good for my health!" Morro retorted inching closer towards Lilith.
"Dude you're being a wuss!" Hunter called with a snicker, Brasha soon joined in.
"Hunter I swear to the FSM; of you call me a wus-" Morro never finished his statement, a loud bang rang out from behind them followed by the sound of a running moter.
"NoOoOOO!" Lloyd cried out, "I want to go home! I don't wanna die by a chainsaw!"
"Relax I bet it's just a generator Lloyd." Brasha said trying to calm his nerves, it didn't work.
Morro shook his head: "No no no nonononono. Let's go, right now, we walk away from the noise, we ain't gonna be no dumb people from horror movies, we Walk." He said pulling Lilith ahead, Lloyd and Gully following behind quickly. Brasha and Hunter rolled their eyes.
Lloyd realized something when he turned around to look behind him, "Uh guys, where is Raine?"
Brasha turned around and dramatically said, "Oh no he got eaten, you will forever be remembered Raine."
Lloyd pailed, he got left behind? Is he hurt? Did he get eaten in this nightmare?
"Brasha you're scaring him." Hunter reprimanded, "He stayed outside Lloyd, he doesn't like jump scares that much."
Lloyd gave a silent sigh of relief, but it was short lived when he heard a loud yell and stomps that sounded like they where getting closer.
Everyone looked over their shoulders to see a man with a big chainsaw in hand, a bloody mask and apron running right at them, dim lights sudden flipped on to life, showing off a door.
"Go go gogogogo!" Morro yelped pushing the door open while running inside, everyone followed suit, slamming the door shut behind them.
Lloyd sighed in relief before gasping in horror at the room they where in, it looked like a normal kitchen, but add a murder into the mix, blood was all over the floor, walls and countertops, random items where thrown about like a fight had taken place.
Lloyd felt like crying, "Why am I heReRerEre!? I should have stayed with Raine!"
No one replied to him, everyone was looking for a way out, "No don't split up! This how everyone dies in a horro movie!" Lloyd Yelp, practically hiding under Gully's arm.
The door suddenly slammed open, the chainsaw man walked in weapon held high, everyone screamed and ran for it, everyone with a buddy, Lloyd was picked up by Gully as he ran for a door on the right. The chainsaw man walked after Brasha and Hunter who had run to the left.
"No Gully go back! Let's go with Morro and Lilith! We can leave the other two!" Lloyd cried out, holding Gullys arm with an iron grasp.
Gully shushed Lloyd with a finger to his lips before quietly opening the door to look back into the kitchen, Morro and Lilith where hiding behind the counter; he quickly motioned them to follow him and they did silently. After everyone was in the small pantry like room Gully closed the door softly.
"I say we leave those two." Morro said quietly, "Just run and try and find the exit."
Lloyd backed up hitting a metal shelf, it creaked heavily before falling, Lloyd caught it before it made to much noise.
"Hey theirs a bag up there." Lilith said helping Lloyd bring down the shelf without making to much noise.
"No open bag, bag is bad." Gully said, mumbling a few other words in his mother language.
Lilith rolled her eyes, "And what if what we need to get out is in the bag? Like I don't know, the key to that door right there." She said pointing to the mostly hidden door under a hanging rug, the dim lights flicked causing Lloyd to pull his hood closer.
"Just hurry up!" Lloyd whisper yelled, Lilith rolled her eyes before untying the black bag, she immediately closed it.
"Nope, I'd rather die." Lilith said plainly trying to tie the bag back up.
Morro stoped her, "What's in the bag?"
"Bag bad Gully said so."
Lilith grimaced, "Lloyd."
Pin drop silence followed her statement.
"What?"
A snicker caught their attention, all heads turned towards Lloyd who was trying not to laugh. "Is little boy okay?" Gully asked slowly as he watched Lloyd try and not laugh out loud.
Morro frowned, "Dont know actually, Lloyd you good?"
Lloyd nodded his head and wiped a tear from his eye, "I was actually expecting this, seems like that chain man really did kill me."
"You sure you're good? this can't be good for your mental health kid." Lilith said grimacing as she opened the bag again, being met with a plastic manikin that look scarily identical to Lloyd.
"Oh yeh I'm great, been having this happen to me since I was six." Lloyd answered as Lilith looked through the bag for the key, she found it tied up in the plastic hair.
"Okay let's get the heck out of here." Lilith said after she tied the bag up, "And I am never doing this again in Ninjago city."
Everyone in the room agreed before following Lilith through the previously locked door. Once opened revealed a long hall way with a door that said 'Exit' in large red letters.
"How much you wanna bet that door isn't actually the exit?" Lloyd asked squeezing between Gully and Morro, Lilith was up front.
"That would probably be illegal, violations of maybe at least two state rules." Lilith answer walking quickly up to the door and pushing it open, it revealed a 'thank you for walking through our haunted mansion please come again soon' sign, Raine was sitting on a table right next to it with his phone.
Lloyd ran over to Raine and shook his arm, "I thought you died!"
Raine looked at him with a raised eye brow, "He thought you joined us." Morro explained sitting down next to Raine.
"Ah."
"Yeah! Why didn't you mention anything I would have gladly given you company." Lloyd said.
"You just didn't want to be there." Lilith pointed out, she was sitting on the table; Lloyd crossed his arms, his lower lip popping out a tad.
"Neither did Morro." Raine mentioned.
"Wait how did you know?" Morro asked.
Raine just pointed at the person who was at the podium next to the door, "I was watching the whole thing with them through the cameras it was hilarious. You kept hiding behind Lilith." He laughed as Morro's cheeks tinged pink.
"What about the other two?" Lloyd asked, "We kind of left them inside."
Raine shrugged, "I don't really care, plus both of them love horror crap so I'm sure those two love birds are having the time of their life right now."
Lloyd looked down at the floor, "Gully think little one wants sweet food." Gully said standing up.
Everyone agreed immediately, "Yes please! Ice cream sounds so good right now." Lloyd said quickly walking towards a food cart with a big sign of an ice cream cone.
"What about the other two?" Lilith called from her seat.
Morro shrugged, "Their big kids and they have phones so they can call us once they get out."
Lilith and Morro followed after Gully and Lloyd, both of whom where already picking a flavor of ice cream, "What flavor of ice cream you guys want?" Lloyd asked them once they hit hearing range
"Hmm strawberry and vanilla sound pretty good right about now." Lilith hummed.
Morro read the flavor board, "I'll have cheese cake and vanilla."
Once ordered they sat down and ate the ice cream on the sand of the beach, "Tonight wasn't so bad, but let's never do this again." Lloyd said while shoving another spoon of caramel chunk ice cream in his mouth.
A chorus of hums of agreement rang out from the small group.

Chapter Text
Lloyd blinked slowly through his dark tinted green helmet as he watched the scenery blur by on the back of the motorcycle. He held on to Morro as he made a left turn into the mega pizzaplex's parking lot, parking in the employees only spot near the side of the building.
Lloyd got off the backseat and dramatically toar off his helmet while turning around to address his cousin who was pocketing the keys and kicking out the kick stand, "You normally go faster than that."
Morro sighed and took off his black and pink highlighted helmet, "Well, today I got my coffee in before you dragged me out the door, so I wasn't in such a rush to get coffee here before Sun talks my ear off."
"Fair enough, not like we slept very much last night anyways." Lloyd answered before turning around and walking up to the employee entrance and holding open the door for Morro, "Ladies first." He said with a mocking bow.
Morro huffed with a smile before dropping into a dramatic bow while also lifting up an imaginary skirt, "Why thank you kind sir." Morro said with a horrible British accent; Lloyd snorted as Morro walked through door and down the lit up hallway.
Lloyd followed quickly after Morro. The hallway opened up into a small break room with several lockers lined up against the wall with small silver name placks showed which locker belonged to who; a small wooden table was directly in the center of the room with four metal fold out chairs around it.
Both boys walked through an orange door on their right leading into the main lobby area, S.T.A.F.F bots where still rolling around cleaning what needed to be clean before customers came in at eight o'clock on the dot.
Lloyd walked over to the entrance gates and used his employee pass to get through, a small caution bot rolled up to him and beeped loudly trying to get his attention; Lloyd laughed as he pat the small yellow bot on its head "How are you doing today little bot?"
The yellow bot twirled around while letting off happy sounding beeps, the caution bot's front panel suddenly lit up with a small pink and red heart.
"That's adorable." Morro said as he watched the two interact from behind.
"I know right! I just want to take them home with me." Lloyd answered as they both watch the small bot roll away back to its designated spot in a corner.
Morro smirked before climbing up the stairs, "Yeah we can put it in front of your room to warn anyone before they go in."
LLoyd scoffed as he troted up behind Morro trying to keep up with his longer strides, "My room isn't that messy!"
"If Sunny or Moon saw your room they'd immediately short circuit." Morro replied giving Lloyd a deadpanned look.
Lloyd huffed as he passed Morro and walked up to a pair of closed red doors, he swiped his ID card on the scanner and the double doors unlocked; he pushed one door open with his shoulder and flicked the door stopper down with his foot, Morro mirored his actions on the opposite door.
They both walked into the 'Super star daycare pick up' lounge area and up to a closed shutter, Morro used the small 'save station's hidden command to leave the shutters open. Lloyd ducked under the steadily rising shutter and walked up to a hidden door to the right which lead the the daycares break room, he walked in and took his small sage green backpack off and unlocked his locker; he put his back pack and helmet in and took out his colorful braclets with two little bell attached and sliped them on his hands.
Morro came in a did the same, after carefully locking his locker again he turned to Lloyd, "I should make you wear those all the time."
Lloyd glared at Morro while pulling a colorfull hat over his fluffy blonde head, "I don't get lost that much."
"Lloyd, I lose you at Walmart."
"No you don't!"
"Lloyd you're short."
Lloyd gasped offenedly, "How dare you, I'm not short! I'm perfect for my age."
"You're eighteen and five foot nine, you're not growing much anymore."
"At least i'm taller than Jay." Lloyd said crossing his arms.
Morro gave him an amused smile, "Everyone is taller then Jay, greeny." Morro pushed Lloyd out the door by the shoulders, "Now lets go, before Sun decides to come up here himself."
Lloyd laughed as he ran out the door and up to the slide, "You gonna use the slide today Windy?"
"How old do you think I am Runt?" Morro said pushing past Lloyd, "Of course i'm going to use the slide."
Lloyd laughed as Morro disappeared down the slide and a few seconds later the sound of someone falling into the ball pit, he immediately threw himself down the colorful slide and fell next to Morro who was looking for his hat that had ok knocked off during his fall.
Lloyd looked up at the floating castle on the wall while fixing his hat back snugly on his head, "Sun or Moon down yet?"
Morro shook his head, his hat now sat proudly on his black and green hair. They both walked out of the ball pit and up to the security desk to clock in for the day, the clock read 7:13 AM, the first few kids would be there around 7:40 AM and Sun nor Moon had made any kind of appearance.
Morro shruged when Lloyd gave him a questioning look, "Maybe you should call em, I have to make sure the first add station is ready for use."
Lloyd nodded before walking out from behind the security desk and through the middle of the daycare up to the rainbow bridge of the ball pit, "Sunny! Moon! Where are you guys at! it's almost drop off time!"
His calling was meet with silence, Lloyd frowned at this, they where both normal very punctual about drop off and pick up.
Lloyd looked around for something to get the robot siblings attention, "Sun and Moon if you don't come down im going to knock over two of your towers!" Lloyd yelled as he walked up to one of the colorfully stacked block towers.
Hearing no reply he pushed on the blocks making the block tower sway to the side, "Oh no, if someone doesn't stop me i'm going push it all over." A mechanical clicking noise got his attention, he looked up to see a blur of yellow; it seems like Sun took his threat personally. Lloyd smiled at this, if he got Sun down Moon wouldn't get to pull what ever he's trying to do off.
Maybe. Knowing Moon they probably didn't need Sun to annoy Lloyd or Morro.
Lloyd once again pushed on the blocks making them sway precariously to the right, He heard a small chant of 'time out time out' from Sun.
He grinned, he was about to push the whole tower over when he heard a muffle swear, turning around he saw nothing, "Morro?"
"Little shit-" he heard Morro swear again before going silent.
Lloyd frowned a bit before turning back towards the castle, Sunny was looking down at him from the patio, all Lloyd could see where his blue eyes and the top rays on his head, "Hey Sunny! Come on down, we've got work to do!"
Sun's blue eyes blinked at him before moving away and looking towards the first aid area, he slowly disappeared from view.
"Really?!" Lloyd yelled, he turned around and was about to push the tower but a large blue hand grabed his wrist before he could knock it down.
Lloyd glared as Moon's smile widened, "Naughty helper, you're making a mess."
Lloyd smiled, "Not yet I haven't."
Moons smile dropped a bit at Lloyd's words, "What do you mea-"
Lloyd kicked down the tower with his foot before breaking away from Moon's hand and running towards the left, making a 90° turn he ran at a second tower and knocked it over as well, he heard Sun gasp and Moon start cleaning up the mess.
Lloyd ran around the play structures, passed the security desk and up to a tower in front of a blue slide.
Moon cut him off before he could knock it over, "It's time out with you."
"You can't do that Moon man I work here."
Moon's smile grew as he bent down, his faceplate rotating 180° before snapping back into place, "When the children aren't here I make the rules."
Lloyd rose an eyebrow, "Oh, really? Looks like I'll just act like a child." He quickly jumped to the side while grabbing a random foam building block from the floor and chucked it at the tower, his aim was spot on as he watched the tower topple and fall to the ground with a clang.
Moon looked from Lloyd to the tower and back again, Lloyd smiled sweetly before diving behind Moon and grabbing a piece of the tower. Moon tried to grab him but Lloyd twisted out of the way, he threw the piece up and it fell on top of the structure.
Moon staggered, "Why you-"
"That's for Morro Moon man!" Lloyd yelled before running away straight into the security desk, Moon, somehow ignored his cleaning protocols, gave chase but stopped in front of the desk.
"What did you do to Morro!"
Moon titled his head in thought, "Morro? I've never heard of him, who is that?"
Lloyd sighed while dragging his hand down his face, "Emo boy."
"Ah, Yes him, He's in- how should I say this: Time out." Moon answered smiling widely, flicking at invisible dirt from under his nonexistent nails.
Lloyd watched Moon for a moment, movement behind Moon caught his atention, it seemed Sun had come down and was now looking for the missing piece of the tower, "You have to clean that up you know." Lloyd said pointing behind Moon.
Moon turned around and saw Sun looking for the middle piece, Sun suddenly looked at Moon than started climbing the play structure.
"That's cheating." Lloyd glared as Moon turned around, leaned over the counter and chuckled.
The sound of a tower falling grabbed both Moon's and Lloyd's attention, low and behold Morro was standing next to it with two smoothie in hand.
"I leave for five minutes and I come back to absolute chaos?" Morro scolded as he walked up to the desk and sat down on the office chair, handing one of the smoothies to Lloyd.
"I thought Moon dragged you somewhere." Lloyd answered as he sucked the purple smoothie through the straw.
Morro gave him a side eyed glare, "He did, I just kicked him and went to get us some smoothies."
Moon chuckled as Lloyd gasped, "You can't do that! You'll get in trouble."
Morro gave Lloyd a deadpanned look while drinking some of his orange colored smoothie, "I couldn't care less Lloyd, plus Moon wouldn't say anything to management since he doesn't like anyone else other than us."
"That is true," Moon said with a hand on his chin, "It would be far to much work to get you replaced."
"I for one enjoy both of your companies." Sun suddenly said as he walked closer, he had finally finished putting together all the towers.
"Awwww I like your company to Sunny!" Lloyd said as he ran around Moon to give Sun his long over do hug, Sun squealed happily as he was pulled down into the hug.
Morro rolled his eyes as he rolled his chair up to the computer and setting everything up for drop off that was only ten minutes away.
Eventually the first kids started showing up, Sun and Lloyd went to entertain them while Moon stayed with Morro and watched from a distance, "Why don't you ever go play Moon?" Morro asked after watching Moon flip through a book for about eight minutes.
Moon looked up from the book he 'borrowed' from Lloyd's locker two weeks ago, "I'm not built to play."
"That's not true, you always play that hide and go seek game before nap time, and you and the kids both seem to love it." Morro pointed out as he typed up a forum on the computer.
"I seem to scare all of them." Moon answered truthfully while putting a bookmark on his page and closing the book.
Morro pushed the key board away from him and moved his seat to look at Moon better, "That is the biggest lie you have ever told me," Moon's head jerked up as he looked at Morro with wide eyes, "We have kids who come here regularly that absolutely love you, I'm sure lil Nelson and Nina would tackle you if I told them you said that."
Moon smiled a bit with a huff, Nelson and Nina where his troublemakers after all, "I suppose, if you do tell them this I will fire you myself."
Morro huffed a laugh and rolled his eyes while turning back to the computer again and pulling the key board back to its regular spot; "Sure you will Moony, sure ya will."
Moon rolled his eyes before getting off the top of the desk and walking over to Sun and Lloyd, they seemed to be playing a role play of a knight, dragon, princess and an evil queen.
Lloyd had a far to small dragon costume head piece perched on top of his hat and far to small cardboard wings on his back, a small kid was playing the knight with a cardboard sword in his hand and a matching belt, an older girl was playing the part of evil queen, a black crown was propped on top of her head and a black cape flowed behind her.
Sun seemed to be going all out being the princess in distress, wearing a pink blanket around their waist to simulate wearing a skirt, they leaning mostly on the 'dragon' as they spoke to the 'queen' about some kind of deal?
Moon didn't dare walk into what ever was happening there and instead walked to the arts and crafts corner, sitting down with a small black haired girl who seemed to be having a problem squeezing the paint tube, "Would you like some help little one?"
The little girl nodded her head and handed the tube to Moon, "What's your name starlight?"
The little girl grabbed a second piece of paper and a blue crayon and spelled her name, 'yumi'.
"Yumi is a very pretty name." Moon said as he placed a portion of paint on the small plate next to the dark blue paint. Yumi grabbed a paint brush from the water cup and put it in the dark blue paint, she than started panting a circle on her page.
Moon was getting up to find something else to do when Yumi grabbed his pant and pulled, he looked down to see her handing him the same paper she had written her name on, 'can you color wit me'. He smiled as he sat down again and pulled out another piece of paper from the stack in the middle of the table, "Of course I'll color with you Starlight."
_~_~_~_~_~_
Sun laughed as Oliver dramatically fell into a bow before him, the 'dragon' was peacefully sitting on the slide besides him; Layla, who was playing the evil queen, was in 'jail' for her evil laws and rules.
Lloyd slid off the slide and onto his feet and stretched his arms in the air, "Alright, it's almost snack time so go get ready."
Oliver and Layla's eyes lit up, they both rushed to put their costumes away and up to the 'snack cove'.
Sun stoped Lloyd before he could walk over and join them, "I noticed you seemed less eager to play today, is everything alright?" Sun sounded quite worried.
Lloyd shook his head, "Nothing to be worried about Sunny boy, we just didn't get much sleep, the neighbors threw this giant party last night." He yawned as he finished his sentence.
Suns head tilted and their lips thinned in thought, "Couldn't you ask them to stop? Me and Moon tell people to quiet down when they are to loud during nap time."
Lloyd bent down to touch his toes, "Well yes and no, where we live isn't the same as here; for example, if someone doesn't listen to you here a S.T.A.F.F bot will drag the person away, but in our apartment all we can do is ask them politely to quiet down and if they don't listen then tough luck for us then."
"What about the authorities?" Sun asked as he and Lloyd walked over the the snack area where a server bot had already served out some snacks to the awaiting children.
"We didn't want to waist their time over something like a noise complaint, they have more important things to do." Lloyd answered taking the snack bag the server bot handed him, "But if they do it again tonight then we'll probably call the cops."
Sun frowned but said nothing more, they both watched the kids eat their snacks in comfortable silence, Morro joined them at some point with his own snack bag in hand.
After Snack time was always nap time, the children where already starting to hide as Moon called for the lights to go out.
The lights dimmed down enough for the kids to run around and not fall and hurt themselves, the glowing cut outs around the patio to the twins room of a sun and clouds rotated away and was replaced by a glowing moon and stars.
Lloyd and Morro walked into the nap time room, affectionately dubbed the 'Nighty Night Sunrays' room by Moon. The room was already set up for nap time when they walked in so they sat and waited for the first few kids to get caught and help them get ready for nap time.
After ten minutes of kids gleefully screaming and Moon's weird chuckle everyone was now tucked in and listening to Moon and Sun read a small story book.
Lloyd was nodding off in the corner of the 'Nighty night' room listening to Moon reading softly, he felt a plush blanket being wrapped around his shoulders. Looking up he saw Sun patting down the soft dragon blanket on his shoulders gently, he snuggled into the plush walls and closed his eyes with a smile, an hour nap couldn't hurt.
Morro was sitting at the desk when he saw Moon approaching him, "Shouldn't you be watching the kids?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
Moon brought his hands in front of him, showing off the blanket he was hiding behind his back, "I thought you could use a nap, Lloyd told Sun you both didn't sleep much of anything last night."
Morro looked at the blanket in Moon's hand before looking at the computer, "Look, as much as I want to I have work to do her-"
A blanket hitting his face interrupted anything he was about to say.
"Wasn't a question Emo boy." Moon stated as he walked behind the desk and picked up a startled Morro off the office chair.
"Hey- Wait a second, what about lunch break?" Morro asked as Moon carried him like a sack of potatoes.
"You and Lloyd will both go on break after nap time, Sun and I can take care of the daycare until you've arrived back." Moon answered quickly as he placed Morro down on a large star shaped pillow, he wrapped the blanket around a struggling Morro and started playing a small tune from his music box.
Morro stopped struggling once he found it useless and just sat still, in the end Morro did fall asleep and Moon smiled and leaned back against the wall, he and Sun would stay up and watch over everyone.
Notes:
I am so nervous posting this isjdjfjfj
Also sun and moon both go by he/him they/them, but I have no idea if I used them correctly so if I didn't use them correctly you can tell me and I'll fix it right away.
This idea came from a hyper fixation on security breach and Ninjago :D
The title for this chapter came from nowhere and I don't plane on changing it :3

Chapter Text
Lloyd laid wide awake on the queen sized bed, the incident happened about two months ago yet Lloyd still felt immensely drained. A loud purr came from his side, looking down he saw Fable, his new calico tiger colored cat sleeping soundly besides him.
Lloyd sighed, he had to get up at some point, maybe he could sit with Morro on the sofa while he watched him do homework, or maybe play some games on the click; he's been meaning to beat brasha's high score on just dance for awhile now. He silently stroked Fable's head, receiving a happy purr in return.
Lloyd pushed himself up and out of bed, slowly trudging his way to the white door, pulling it open he was greeted with what he dubbed the 'play room', it was basically just where Morro kept all of the gaming counsels. A Tv was hanging from the back wall, a DVD player was on a hanging shelf under it; there where two book shelves on either side of the Tv filled with books, games, pictures, and small trinkets both Lloyd and Morro had master built together. Wu liked to collect the small things they built. On the coffee table sat an open laptop with several tabs, emails, and a Google doc on it, an empty tea cup was on its plater next to it.
Walking to the right then took a left through a small hall, he came to the front door, he took another left and silently walked into the living room, he saw Morro in the kitchen to the right cutting some vegetables on a wooden cutting board. Lloyd opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out, he grimaced once he remembered he couldn't actually speak anymore.
The blonde boy knocked on the wall getting Morro's full attention.
Morro looked up and smiled slightly at Lloyd, "hey buddy how you feeling today?" He asked while pushing his black and pink hair away from his eyes. Morro and his girlfriend Lilith had been matching hair colors for 2 years, changing the colors when they found a new one they liked, Morro has been pink for three months at this point.
Lloyd only leaned against the wall besides him and closed his eyes.
He heard Morro sigh, "Yeah I bet your tired, why don't you sit down, I'll have lunch ready in a bit."
Lloyd open his eyes and shook his head, he pushed off the wall and walked around the dining table to the counter, sitting down on one stools he pointed at the cutting board Morro was using.
"You wanna help?"
Lloyd nodded in return, he's been feeling a bit useless lately, he hasn't been fighting with the ninja force for two months since the incident, Nya says they have it under control; and he believes her but he still wants to help.
Morro placed a second cutting board and a knife in front of Lloyd breaking him out of his thoughts.
"Cut these in little squares please." Morro said while placing a medium sized red peper, a small green pepper, and a tomato Infront of him.
Lloyd nodded his head and started cutting carefully, knowing full well if he cut his finger Morro would never let him help again, and Kai would never let him hear the end of it.
Both boys worked together in comfortable silence, cooking together had always made Lloyd happy, he liked cooking, sure he wasn't the best; that title went to his mom or Zane, but with Morro helping out it came out really good.
After about an hour of cooking; well Morro cooked and Lloyd just handed him stuff- they both had a nice looking plate of teriyaki chicken and rice with shrimp on the side.
While eating Lloyd pulled over a clip board and pen to write on before pushing his message across the table to an awaiting Morro.
"I'm down to do anything, what do you want to do?" Morro pushed the board back to Lloyd.
'i want to help' Lloyd wrote before pushing it back.
Morro's eyebrow rose, "help how?"
Lloyd shrugged his shoulders, 'I feel useless, I haven't helped in the city since' Lloyd's writing faltered when he thought of the reason why he was on house rest.
"Your not useless Lloyd, the team just doesn't Want you to push your self."
'i still want to do something it's not like I died'
Morro gave him a look and Lloyd grimaced. Morro was right, that was the closest to death Lloyd had ever come before, he could still feel the sting on his neck from the knife, the smell of iron from his blood filling the air-
"Lloyd!" Morro said shaking his shoulder, Lloyd shook his head, his cheeks felt hot- was he crying?
"Your all right buddy, it's fine, your safe." Morro kept repeating sweet nothings into Lloyd's ear while he sat next to him and rubbed his back comfortably.
Lloyd gave Morro a thumbs up while rubbing his temples, maybe his team did have a reason to exclude him for a bit longer.
After dinner Lloyd washed the leftover dishes, and Morro put condiments away, a small frown etched into his face. Lloyd frowned slightly knowing Morro was going to talk to him about something, preferably not about what just happened but he could always wish.
After everything was meticulously cleaned, thanks to Morro's germophobia, both boys went back to the play room and sat down on the brown sofa. Morro pulled his laptop to his lap and started typing immediately, Lloyd grabbed the clicks controller, turned the TV on and sat down. After a few minutes of furious typing and several matches being played; with various victories and losses, Morro closed his laptop with a sigh. He watched Lloyd play until the victory sign pull in.
"Your team won by like, 0.5%" Morro pointed out the obviously close score, Lloyd rolled his eyes and closed out of his game, he turned towards Morro with an eyebrow raised.
Morro tapped his fingers on his laptop before continuing, "Uhm, well, I was talking to your mom, and your little group about getting you away from the city for a bit."
Lloyd tilted his head before grabbing his small notebook and writing, 'Why? I'm perfectly fine here'
"I know that, but everyone's worried about you, I was think you could come up to Jamanakai city with me for awhile, you know get some fresh air." Morro said moving his arms for emphasis.
Lloyd looked down at his hands in thought, "look I know you like it here but even you know being here to long is toxic. Sure maybe it's gotten a little better now that everyone knows you could beat them all to a bloody pulp, but you still need a break." Morro said placing a hand on his shoulder.
'how long would I be gone?' Lloyd wrote down before fidgeting with his pencil.
"How ever long you want, I preferably would like you to stay till the end of summer, which is what? Two months?"
'2 1/2'
"See two and a half Months, it'll be fun, plus I won't have to much school work to do, I might only take maybe one summer semester this year, and if I am swampt you can go out with one of my roommates." Morro said with a smile.
Lloyd nibbled his lip in thought, 'and the dog?'
Morro laughed, "yes Lloyd and the dog will also be there, plus there is a horse ranch near by that gives pretty cheap lessons, if you want you could take some."
'whats the difference between horses and my mech?' Lloyd wrote down then folded his arms against his chest in retaliation.
"One can fly dummy." Morro said with a chuckle when Lloyd's eyes narrowed. "Lloyd I won't force you but I'm not going to stop being annoying until I leave."
Lloyd was about to write down his answer when his phone pinged loudly, followed by five more. Lloyd picked up his phone seeing six messages from his friends with an individual message saying in there words why it would be a good idea to join Morro up in Jamanakai city for the summer.
Kai's just consisted of 'go with Morro before I drag you there myself'. Nya's was much the same, just worded a bit nicer. just a tad though.
Lloyd smiled a bit before grabbing his note book and writing down 'i want to sleep with Rajah'
Morro's wrinkled his nose in disgust, "your little butt better give her a bath every single day if you want that."
Lloyd nodded his head with a smile plastered on his face, maybe he could get over this with time.
Notes:
Hot diggity dogs, this is old.
Well hi :3 I've had this written out since before 'Green superstar' and I didn't had the guts to post it. Now that I've come back and re-read it, I've noticed that it's actually not half bad, so now y'all can have it.
For some reason younger me just wanted to hurt Lloyd, idk what was wrong with me lmao.
Also Rajah is my dog who died at the start of last year so I immortalized her in this book, she was a blue brindle Cane Corso, best dog I ever had ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Stay safe and have a great day :> 💛
