"please! i'll pay up the rest of the loan soon, don't kill me! i have two sons that depend on me fo-" before the man could continue, gunshots echoed in the old building.
"take the body away and throw it in some river far away" he ordered the men coldly and fixed his expensive tailored blazer.
"sir, what about his sons?" the head bodyguard, peem asked
"i'll fund their school fees and their living expenses. don't let them find out that we killed their father" the man answered while heading to the car.
"wait, chay you killed him? he has two sons! i can't believe YOU did that!"
"yeah i agree with macau. this is not you chay. you're trying to become someone who you're not"
macau and anya who were porchay's best friends, and they never expected him to become this heartless. they’ve known him since they were all in highschool and back then porchay was the sweetest boy you could ever meet. he was always smiling, treating everyone with respect and never doubting anyone. but his younger self had no idea of the horrors of the real world. the second person who he ever trusted, first being his brother, was his idol, who he fell in love with but his idol took advantage of chay’s innocent younger self to extract information from him. he will never forget that day.
"p'kim why didn't you ever tell me that you're from a mafia group? my brother even works for you. you lied about your whole identity! were all the moments we shared together a lie?" tears streamed down chay’s face as he just stared at kim's blank face. he wanted answers, he wanted to know why he was being lied to by both his brother and the person who he admired and loved for years.
"im sorry" he replied coldly. it seemed like he didn't even care, like it didn't matter to him.
"did you ever even love me?" chay asked. 'please say yes'
"i have to go chay." and he left. just like that, shattering his heart into pieces. all these years of admiration and those last few months where they spent almost every single day together, cuddling on the couch, watching movies, spending hours in the studio singing and writing songs were gone. he remembers cuddling up with kim during their horror movies night and hiding in his arms being shy whenever a jumpscare popped up on screen. chay always made sure that he practiced playing the guitar for hours before their studio sessions. he had countless sleepless nights staying awake so he could show his best self in front of kim. they would facetime each other every night until chay fell asleep but chay couldn't because he was still thinking about their first cheek kiss or their dates from hours before. all of that ended in a blink of an eye.
he blamed himself for being so oblivious. he never got over it and decided to cut all ties with his brother porsche and the main family to build his own empire and be a ruthless mafia leader. he wanted to show kim that kim’s not the one that won. he'll defeat him by leveling the playing field between them. the only people who he trusts are his bodyguard peem, yok and his best friends of 11 years, macau and anya. both of them consoled him during his hard times and stayed by his side. but they were extremely shocked to see his transformation. however, they thought it'll be a phase and he would give up. but, he didn't. it's been eight years since the heartbreak. even though macau is from the theerapanyakul family, he had never told porsche or the main family about chay's whereabouts.
as time went by, he got colder and colder. he has killed hundreds of people over these eight years mercilessly, bought three mansions all across thailand, been fucked over by many dealers and almost been killed five times. he keeps his identity private and never reveals himself as the leader. he has yok act like the leader, but in reality she is just his guardian and helps him with the business. yok has been his mother figure since a young age and she decided to side with chay instead of porsche because she knew that porsche already had kinn and the main family on his side but for chay…
