Another World, Another Story

Summary:

It turns out that there's another universe with the Jojo characters, and it's a very different story after defeating Dio. Jolyne has to get out of there alive and go back to her own world.

Notes:

Because Ao3 doesn't want to provide a link to the original story, I'll attach it here. And yes, this is a translation of my (kristik_krest) story from Russian into English.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

In the dark corridor, slow footsteps echoed on the floor, signaling that the owner of this estate was present and ready to receive what he had commanded to be done.

The middle-aged man became alert. He felt the ominous aura that enveloped him every time this vampire approached. He couldn't move from his spot, as if he had been turned into a statue, with no sensation except fear. A voice came from above.

"What's going on there?" a tall man spoke gruffly, with a touch of arrogance.

"Master, I'm heading there right away," the brunette swallowed and took a step back, involuntarily causing Dio to smile.

"I hope you know where to dispose of her. Remember who is in danger," Dio approached his servant and grabbed him by the collar, lifting him up to eye level. The brunette simply nodded in response.

"I know, Lord Dio."

Dio threw him to the ground, a muffled thud was heard, and the blond quietly walked down the corridor. He had to deal with one of Jotaro's descendants to finally end the Joestar bloodline. First, he would kill him, and then Kujo himself, who had defeated him almost 20 years ago, but he had survived. How? Thanks to a Stand. This Stand could resurrect any dead creature from blood, and luckily, there were traces of blood where they had split him. Since that day, he had devised a new plan to defeat Jotaro, knowing that he possessed the same ability. And suddenly, Dio had a realization. There were a couple of women who had borne his offspring, but they were either weak or unsuitable. All he needed was to create his own army, his bloodline, so that they would obey him. But for that, he needed the perfect woman, someone with a good lineage, a Stand, and a strong yet fair character. It should have been an easy task, but it turned out to be more difficult than anticipated. In his world, there was no such woman; there were only those with good genes or beauty. That didn't suit him. So he had to look beyond his field of view. And there, he saw her. Beautiful, strong, with a Stand, and she also had Joestar blood, exactly what he needed. Now, he just had to obtain her. That's why he needed this pitiful man; he had the ability to see people from other worlds and sometimes even move to them.

The brunette waited until Brando's back disappeared into the darkness. Only then did he start moving and begin his mission. He would do this for his family, no matter what. He would fulfill his mission at all costs.

"Another world!"

"Damn it."

Three girls ran along the beach in the evening. Anyone passing by would probably think they were just having fun. But that wasn't the case. They were running from an enemy who had started attacking them while they were eating ice cream and gossiping about people.

"Ah!"

Jolyne turned around at the scream that Trish let out because a bullet had hit her leg, causing her to fall onto the sand. She was trying to get up and run again.

"Come on, give me your hand," Ermes took Trish's hand and then ordered her to sit on her back to run faster. Trish complied. Jolyne helped her friend climb on her back, but she caught a glimpse of the man attempting to shoot again.

"Stone Free! Run, I'll hold him back."

"But..."

Trish didn't have a chance to finish her sentence as Ermes ran away from there. She simply knew that if Jolyne said something, she would do it no matter the cost. So she calmly started looking for shelter and helped Trish bandage her leg and, if possible, call for backup if things didn't work out.

Meanwhile, Jolyne assumed a combat stance, assessing the situation and devising a battle plan. She didn't really know what ability this user possessed. He had attacked them first and only started shooting when he realized they were escaping. Well, if anything, she would use her family's secret technique.

"Well, well, the little mouse walked right into the trap," the brunette stood in place, twirling his gun on his finger. He was dressed simply, wearing a white shirt and black jeans, with his hair blowing in the wind.

"Don't anger me," Jolyne discreetly pulled out her phone and, using Stone Free behind her back, began typing a message to her boyfriend, or rather, her future husband. She was confident in her abilities, but because her team had been injured, they needed reinforcement. What if this enemy had friends?

"Let's just finish this quickly."

The brunette aimed his gun directly at the girl and was about to shoot when she ran straight at him with rage in her eyes.

"Ora!"

Jolyne closed in on him, hoping to increase her chances of taking the gun from him and throwing it into the sea, which was to her right, catching him off guard. But then, a stand appeared to her left and started attacking her rapidly. However, Stone Free blocked the attacks, waiting for the right moment. Meanwhile, Jolyne extended her hand to snatch the gun from the enemy, which she succeeded in doing.

Caught off guard by this unexpected turn of events, the brunette was momentarily distracted. Stone Free noticed this and struck the enemy's stand on the head, causing its owner to be thrown to the left and fall onto the sand. In the meantime, Jolyne didn't stop and approached to finish him off, but as she looked into his eyes, she saw him smiling. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in the back of her head and lost consciousness.

"Just a little more, and I would have been dead. No time to waste," the man lifted his body from the sand and opened a portal to another world. He had to deliver her to Dio as soon as possible. As soon as he entered the portal, he found himself surrounded by water. He felt a sharp pain in his neck and realized what had happened just before his head was severed from his body.

Jolyne wanted to take a breath, but then realized she couldn't. She was in water, where there was no up or down, only water. Suddenly, she was unexpectedly pulled out of that space. The first thing she saw was the sky. And the second was the ground. She fell, quickly reacting, she untangled her hand and grabbed onto a pillar to soften the landing.

Raising her head, she realized that this wasn't her home but another place. Not only was it unfamiliar territory, but she was still on the battlefield. The people who had been fighting turned to look at her. Because she emerged from the portal, no one knows whether she is a friend or an enemy. Even Jolyne herself doesn't know whom to fight for.

Harsh laughter echoed in the middle of the road. The man looked at Jolyne and said, "So, you've arrived... Jolyne."

Ermes tore Trish's skirt to use as a bandage for her injured leg while she tried to call their friends. Only after the fifth attempt did Mista answer the phone.

"Trish, Giorno has an important meeting. I only left because you kept calling me."

Trish immediately wanted to be in their office and beat them to death, so they would know that if they call more than three times, it's crucial. She's injured, not severely, but it's still a fact.

"Shut up and listen. Some psycho attacked us. He shot me and hit my leg. Right now, I'm with Ermes near the pier, by a small white house. Jolyne went on the attack, so bring your asses here quickly. Ah!"

Ermes turned around and saw that the pink-haired girl's phone was emitting electric shocks, causing her to throw it aside and bite her lip. Could it be that the psycho's friends have arrived? That's all they needed.

Ermes dashed out of cover to see who was attacking them. It turned out to be one of the Stand users. It's unclear whether he was with the guy or not. But it's better to attack.

"Kiss!"

"Do you think you can defeat me?"

"Well, yes, I have a strong Stand, so I'll be able to beat you," Ermes ran straight towards the enemy, while he summoned his Stand and it whipped the sand. She stopped because the sand in front of her was shooting lightning in all directions. After that, the enemy's Stand started spinning and shooting lightning throughout the area. Kiss took a defensive stance to protect her eyes from the lightning, but burns would remain on her arms.

Gathering all her strength, Ermes spat on her wounds and charged towards the enemy, as he could only attack effectively from a distance. If she struck up close, he wouldn't stand a chance.

As soon as the enemy realized that Ermes wanted to get closer, he stopped spinning and began to step back to swing his whip. But Ermes was faster and didn't miss such an opportunity. Her Stand delivered multiple blows to the enemy's Stand until its owner lost consciousness.

After Ermes emerged victorious, she picked up the man's body and carried him to the cover. She realized that reinforcements had arrived, and Giorno was already helping Trish with her leg. When they saw her with numerous burns and carrying the man on her shoulders.

"You don't look well," Mista joked and removed the man from Ermes' shoulders, throwing him onto the sand, while Giorno tended to her wounds.

Trish pressed the button to play the video.

Jolyne ran towards the enemy while he aimed at her, managing to strike him, but then she suffered a defeat as she was hit from behind and fell onto the sand. The four of them watched even more intently as they saw Jolyne being lifted up and disappearing.

"What the..."

Giorno nudged Trish to bring her to the forefront.

"That's the Stand ability," the blond noticed a flash drive on the table, inserted it into the computer, and transferred the video onto it. "I'll take this flash drive."

The shopkeeper simply nodded. He wouldn't defy the mafia boss.

The four of them stepped out onto the streets.

"Trish, Mista, and Ermes, search the city. Jolyne might be there. As for me, I'll be at the mansion, contemplating this video," Giorno clenched the flash drive in his hands and looked up at the sky, as if asking God to find the answer: where was his Jolyne, and what had happened to her? Was she suffering?

He had been with her for a month and a half, all because of his work. He wanted their wedding to go smoothly, with no distractions, and to have a month of peaceful relaxation. Jolyne had eagerly wanted to visit the places where her ancestors had been, from Britain to Japan.

Giorno turned around and headed towards the mansion.

Jolyne stood still, trying to understand the whole situation she found herself in. Standing to her left was a tall man with light hair and dark red eyes. For a moment, she thought it was Giorno, but her heart told her it wasn't him.

Catching a glimpse of movement to her right, she saw a group of guys who seemed to have been fighting against the man. However, one guy looked at her with suspicion, and his appearance reminded her of her father, but this boy wasn't him. He had a slimmer build and a different hair color, just like hers.

"Ahahaha," Dio laughed and assumed a calm posture. "What a funny situation. Well, let's not waste any more time." The vampire took a step forward toward Jolyne, but she quickly disappeared behind the houses, unraveling herself.

"Hooray!"

Dio received a strong punch to the face from the boy wearing a cap. But his wounds quickly healed, and he swung his fist. Caught off guard by this unexpected turn of events, the young man hesitated, but he was immediately saved by Jouta, who blocked Dio's attack just in time.

"The World!"

Time stood still. Dio could have killed him right then and there, but he had to chase after the girl who probably hadn't gone far.

Dio simply tossed his hat with Jotaro's son, hinting that they hadn't finished this battle yet.

The blond disappeared behind the houses.

Time resumed.

"How are you?" Jouta examines his friend's wounds, but he just reaches for his headgear.

"We let him slip away again."

Higashikata let out a disappointed sigh and looked at his other friends who were running towards them.

"We were lucky that he took pity on us," Koichi approaches them, followed by Okuyasu.

"Guys, where did that girl go?" Okuyasu pointed with his finger to the spot where she had been standing last, and the other three glanced in that direction.

"Not our concern. She hasn't attacked us yet."

"But Jouta, that girl was needed by Dio!"

Jolyne ran through an unfamiliar street, hoping to find shelter from the man who was chasing her. Until he finds her, she needs to come up with a plan to escape from here. Maybe she should just move to another place and save up money to fly to Italy. But for that to happen, she needs to disappear.

The girl rushed onto the main street where there were many people, even though it was night. Perfect, she can simply blend into the crowd and steal some money. It shouldn't be too difficult.

Dio stood on the rooftop, surveying the area for any suspicious movements, but for now, there was nothing. However, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of the girl exiting a pawnshop. It was her, unmistakable with those hair and hairstyle. Brando descended into the crowd to capture Jolyne.

Kujo sensed something amiss, so she decided to turn around and saw him, the blond man smiling at her, pushing everyone aside to reach her. Jolyne lunged forward, unraveling her arm to grab onto the building. Dio quickened his pace.

Just as Dio nearly grabbed her wrist, she skillfully and elegantly leaped onto the building. He followed after her.

"Where are we running to?"

"To my house."

"Why?"

"To ask my father about this Dio."

"Look!" Josuke stops Jouta and points upward.

There was Jolyne, gracefully leaping from house to house like a butterfly. It was mesmerizing, with the spiderweb glistening under the street lamps. Her face expressed only calmness and confidence in her victory. But this butterfly was fleeing from the hunter, who desperately wanted to catch this rare specimen.

Dio managed to grab her hand, causing her to lose her grip on the building once again.

"You can't escape," Brando pressed Jolyne against himself while they were in the air, but she unraveled the parts of her body that were pressed against him. After a sudden turn, Dio had to land on the rooftop of a house, while Jolyne fell to the ground, but she was caught.

Jouta quickly created a hammock between the columns using green ribbons and started shooting emeralds from his fingers to keep Dio at a distance, but the vampire dodged skillfully.

Brando only wanted to use The World, but his leg became unbearably heavy, preventing him from moving.

"Keep it up, Koichi!" Jouta stood in front of him, and his Charmy Green continued the attack.

Time stopped.

Without wasting a second, Dio pushed the emeralds away from his face, making sure to direct one towards Koichi. This way, he would free his leg and escape. He would have liked to take Jolyne with him, but the sun was rising, and she would defend herself, plus those persistent kids.

Time resumed.

One stone hit Koichi's chest, but Josuke managed to save him by being next to him.

Dio's leg became light, and he smiled, glancing at Jolyne one last time. She truly was the perfect candidate. Dio disappeared.

"What the hell?!" Jolyne quickly jumped off the hammock and activated her Stand as a precaution.

Jouta turned around and directed his Stand's hand towards Jolyne, preparing to attack her.

"My name is Jouta Kujo, and I order you to retract it."

For a moment, the girl was speechless. Was she not the only Kujo? Could it be that her father had indeed betrayed her mother?

"Don't lie. You're not Kujo."

"Well, sorry, I don't have my documents with me right now."

"You can't be Kujo. I am Jolyne Kujo, the daughter of Jotaro Kujo," she said as she unraveled her Stand, getting it behind the boys. Stone Free reassembled itself and struck Okuyasu's head, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground.

Jouta reflexively turned towards his friends, forgetting about Jolyne. Taking advantage of this moment, she approached and struck the guy's face with her own fist, causing him to lose his balance slightly.

"Charmy Green!"

Jolyne's Stand appeared behind her and began attacking rapidly with its hands.

Jouta caught on to the action.

"Ora!!!"

"Urya!!!"

Three people watched this battle. Josuke ran to Okuyasu to heal him. As soon as the guy regained consciousness, he commented.

"It's the girl..."

Pointing his finger at the pair.

Josuke ran towards them, making sure nobody saw him. He dashed into an alley and would come from behind.

Jolyne understood that this Stand was faster than hers, so she preemptively unraveled a part of her body, anticipating where the enemy would strike. As she expected, Stone Free let that attack pass through. Charmy Green's fist hit the gap. Jouta was only surprised by this but didn't show it.

Jolyne grabbed the hand of the unfamiliar Stand, and her own Stand also grabbed hold, but only the strips were caught instead of the hand.

"What...?"

"Dora!"

Crazy Diamond struck from behind, not with full force, hitting Jolyne's head. She initially held herself conscious, but fatigue overcame her.

Jolyne's body fell to the ground.

Jouta caught his breath after such a fight and, thanking Josuke, approached the body. He picked her up and placed her in one spot.

"Could she really be my illegitimate daughter?" Jouta stood over her and looked at the girl's back, noticing the star on her left shoulder.

Chapter Text

A large man sat at the table, writing something on paper. Jotaro sighed and rubbed his eyes. It had been five hours since he started working on this document. His gaze was no longer fixed on the sheet but on the window, which offered a beautiful view of the sea. Every time Jotaro attempted to resume writing, his eyes involuntarily wandered to the photographs on the table. They held great value to him.

The first photo was taken when he was seventeen years old, embarking on a journey to save his mother. Everyone in the picture appeared so happy and confident that they would defeat Dio, but only half of them survived.

A little to the right was a picture of his daughter, Jolyne, when she was around seven years old. She sat on Jotaro's lap, smiling and hugging him tightly. The man looked at his little star with warmth, knowing she was growing up and would soon get married.

The third photo was taken a year ago, featuring Jolyne, his wife, and himself. All these pictures showed what Jotaro lived for and who he cherished.

Bam.

The clock let out a loud sound, indicating that it was already midnight. Jotaro cursed at that, as he had requested the administration to fix those damn clocks.

But if it was already so late, it was better to go to sleep.

Kujo stood up from the table and went to change and prepare for bed. However, a strange feeling emerged when he glanced at the photo of Jolyne, and it didn't go away, but only intensified. He should call her later and talk. Lately, they had been reestablishing their connection and communication, so there shouldn't be any problems just to chat.

The man lay down on the bed and fell asleep.

He had a strange dream.

Jotaro was walking down a crowded street, he knew these streets - it was Morioh. Apparently, these were his memories. Well, he didn't mind reminiscing about the old times.

"Jolyne?"

Out of the corner of his eye, Jotaro caught sight of a familiar hairstyle, but it immediately got mixed up with others. Kujo headed towards the direction where he possibly saw the hairstyle of his daughter. Yes, it was Jolyne, walking briskly, with visible scratches on her.

"Jolyne!"

She turned around, but her eyes widened as if she had seen the most terrifying thing one could see, and she ran away, untangling her hand.

Jotaro turned around to see the enemy and protect his daughter, but he froze. He remembered this aura, remembered the fear when you know that at any moment time will stop. Kujo couldn't move, he felt paralyzed, only able to think about how to save himself and Jolyne, preferably without getting into a fight with Dio.

But Dio walked past Jotaro and tried to grab the girl by the wrist, but she vanished, Dio chasing after her. Jotaro ran and pushed through the crowd, trying to find out where they were heading. But then he was transported to another place. Now he stood next to a group of guys, and he recognized three of them.

"Josuke!"

Jotaro reached out and touched his shoulder, but his hand passed through. He moved away from them, not understanding what was happening. Kujo clenched his fists and struck his uncle in the face with all his might, but nothing happened. Suddenly, the group pointed upwards. Jotaro instinctively looked in that direction. There was Jolyne, who had been captured by Dio but quickly freed herself. Jotaro rushed to catch his daughter, but he was outpaced, and he saw familiar ribbons forming a hammock to cushion her fall.

The group started attacking Dio.

Jotaro ran to his daughter to protect her, but a few things confused him: who was the guy in the cap, why was Josuke with him, and how was Dio still alive.

After some time, Dio left, Jolyne regained consciousness, and she stood up in a fighting stance against Josuke, Koichi, Okuyasu, and the guy in the cap.

They were saying something to her, but he couldn't hear, though he saw his daughter attempting to strike them from behind, which she succeeded in doing.

Jotaro stood next to Jolyne, unsure of how to help. She couldn't hear or see him, and even his Stand couldn't be used. He could only observe and believe that Jolyne would defeat them and escape.

"What the..."

Jotaro was equally surprised when he saw the familiar ribbons in his daughter's hands, not realizing that Josuke had struck Jolyne on the head.

His eyes widened at this turn of events. He saw his daughter trying not to faint and continue the fight, but everything was going against her. And most importantly, he couldn't help her in any way. It hurt him to watch.

Kujo knelt next to Jolyne's body, wanting to hold her close, but then he noticed that his hands started to simply disappear, until he vanished completely.

Suddenly, Jotaro woke up from his bed, gasping for breath and trying to gather himself after the dream he had just experienced. While he contemplated everything that had happened during that time, he remembered how Giorno had sworn to protect Jolyne from danger.

"Giorno! You son of a bitch... I'll kill you."

"Ugh... What a strange feeling," shivers ran down the blond's spine.

Giorno sat in his office, reviewing the footage where Jolyne and her Stand were last seen. But in that recording, there was nothing but her disappearance and a fight. They hadn't discovered anything in the city. They had hit a dead end.

"Damn it..."

There was a knock on the door, and Giorno gave permission to enter. Trish and Mista walked into his office, visibly tired from the search. They couldn't do anything else but continue searching for their friend.

"Did you..."

"No, we haven't found anything," Trish raised her hand to prevent Giorno from continuing his thought. "What about you?"

The blond shook his head and stood up from his desk.

Giorno lifted his head, his eyes filled with determination, and spoke confidently:

"I've been working all this time to ensure that nobody interrupts us on our wedding day, so that our honeymoon goes smoothly. But who could have known that everything would turn out like this."

"That's why you should watch your back sometimes," Trish retorted and left the office, heading to an unknown destination.

Mista had remained silent throughout the argument, knowing that he would simply go unnoticed.

"In your argument, there's no winner," Mista glanced at Giorno, who seemed lost in his own thoughts. He needed to contemplate everything. "You wanted things to go better, but something went wrong. And Trish shouldn't have exploded like that," Mista continued, "But I can understand Trish. Jolyne and Hermes were her closest friends, the ones who truly understood her." With that, Mista left the office, quietly closing the door behind him.

A ray of sunlight entered the room, aiming to wake up the person lying on the bed, covered in bruises.

Out of habit, Jolyne turned away from the light, momentarily forgetting that she wasn't at home. As soon as she realized the situation she was in, she abruptly sat up, summoning her Stand for protection. However, all she saw before her were the belongings and mess of a guy's room, including scattered items, a cluttered desk, a dark-colored wardrobe, and a collection of posters featuring both women and partially men. The wallpaper was also a dark green.

"Jotaro, explain to us who she is!" Jolyne turned her head toward the stern voice. It was a muffled argument, so she used her Stand to weave her web through the gap under the door, eavesdropping on their conversation, as she wasn't fond of the tone of voice.

"I told you, I don't know her. It's the first time I've seen her," Jotaro replied.

His tone and composure in any situation are recognizable from thousands. It's her dad! But why didn't he recognize her?

"Maybe Dad is telling the truth: she fell out of thin air, but the star proves that she's our relative. Dad, are you hiding something? And yes..."

"Jouta, wait a moment. I haven't figured it out yet!"

The door to the room cracks open, and a girl emerges, retracting her web before raising her head and witnessing the family's argument. After surveying each person in the living room, she fixes her gaze on Jotaro.

"You're not my dad," Jolyne said, releasing her thread and then looking at the trio with her weary, emerald eyes.

The guy who had lunged at her stood up abruptly from his chair, causing an object to fall.

"You're lying!" Jotaro began to approach her, but she extended her hand forward, signaling him to keep his distance. The guy stopped.

The two men paused their argument and grew wary.

"No, I truly am Jotaro's daughter, but..." Jolyne's gaze shifted back to Jotaro as she thoroughly examined him from head to toe, then added, "Even though you look exactly like my dad, my heart tells me you're not my dad. Maybe you're his twin."

It suddenly dawned on Jotaro that the man standing next to her wasn't her father. He resembled a friend of her dad's who had died many years ago, sacrificing himself to save the world and Jotaro's mom. It was evident that this man had aged, but his distinct hair color couldn't be mistaken for anything else.

Jolyne pointed her finger at Kakyoin.

"And you're dead."

Jolyne gets in touch with her world

Chapter Text

Jotaro arrived in Italy.

He immediately bought a ticket after his sleep.

He needed to see her and make sure that she was okay, and that the dream turned out to be just another nightmare. But something hinted that things weren't as rosy as his daughter had described over the phone. Something was not right here.

Calling a taxi and providing the name of a street near Passion, they set off. Jotaro spent the entire journey contemplating what he would say to Giorno when he learned that something had happened to Jolyne. He had already crossed his own boundaries by agreeing to the wedding, and he longed to punch him in the face and take his daughter back to America. But now, such an opportunity had arisen. He now had every reason to give that man a few bruises or fractures for lying to him six months ago.

When they arrived at the correct street, Jotaro handed money to the driver and then briskly walked toward the place where Giorno and his friends were.

****

Giorno had not slept all night, reviewing videos and analyzing them to find out where Jolyne had gone. It was obvious that she had been kidnapped, but why and to where? To blackmail him?... Nonsense, it wouldn't work with him. He had power and connections. So it was useless.

The blond man drank his sixth cup of coffee and began watching the videos again, this time for the 50th time. Despite all those views, he hadn't seen anything that could give him any clue in his investigation.

Giorno lifted his head and looked at the door. Someone was speaking loudly outside, and the footsteps were fast-paced.

The door swung open with tremendous force, causing it to fly and collide with the wall.

"Mr. Kujo, I'm glad to see you..."

Jotaro surveyed the entire office and noticed the disorderliness on the floor and the table. There were piles of papers and books scattered around, while mugs and headache pills adorned the table. Giorno was clearly troubled. Normally, this guy was always calm and meticulous, but it wasn't the case now. Especially his appearance: his hair was disheveled, there were bruises under his eyes, and his gaze looked tired and distant. He was clearly preoccupied with something, but he didn't let it show.

"Don't give me that look. Where is Jolyne?" Jotaro snapped back and took a step towards Giorno, who stood there and continued to smile as if nothing had happened.

"You don't know where she is?" Giorno tried his best not to reveal his worry about Jolyne, although it was only getting worse. Did her father somehow find out that she had disappeared? Did someone overhear and decide to betray him? No. Jotaro would never believe someone he didn't even know. How could he know? A father's intuition, perhaps... Maybe one day he would understand it himself.

"Believe me, I do know where she is, but do you?" Kujo got extremely close to Giorno and stared directly into his eyes. An unpleasant aura emanated from Jotaro, as if it engulfed you and you couldn't do anything about it. But Giorno wasn't intimidated; a dangerous aura radiated from him.

"And why should I ask you?" Giorno retorted.

Jotaro grabbed Giorno by the collar and brought him closer to his face, then spoke loudly and firmly:

"Answer me, why was she injured and running away from your damn vampire father?"

"Hold on... What?"

"What!? You don't know... How could I trust you with her!"

Jotaro released him and immediately swung at him, but Giorno's Stand intervened, stopping him. The look in Giorno's eyes widened, filled with confusion for Jolyne. It didn't matter to him whether he would be hit or not. But Jolyne's father knew something. There was just one strange thing.

"Dio is dead! Mr. Jotaro, that's impossible!"

"I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES!"

Instead of the blond man's face, the wall shattered. The man's teeth grated, and a trickle of blood flowed from his mouth. His gaze ceased to be cold, turning into a chilling, deadly gaze that even made Giorno gulp but not step back, showing his courage.

Unexpectedly, Jotaro backed away and massaged his head.

"Damn..."

Suddenly, a faint muffled cry rang out.

"Ah!"

The two men turned towards the voice, so similar to Jolyne's.

"Bitch!"

————————

Jotaro looked in the direction of Jolyne's finger, pointing at one of the men. It was Kakyoin, who simply looked at the girl with a questioning expression, not understanding what she was saying.

"How is he dead?" Jotaro's voice emerged, as he approached her gently, as if approaching a puppy or a kitten, so as not to startle her and to stroke her or simply say a few kind words.

Jolyne released her hand. Taking a deep breath, she collected her thoughts to tell the story. Perhaps they wouldn't believe her, but it was better than remaining silent.

"Egypt. My dad's team embarked on a journey to kill the vampire who killed Jonathan's grandfather and because of the Stand, my mother Jotaro could die if Dio isn't defeated," Jolyne paused for a moment to glance at the faces of the people, who looked quite serious, listening to every word she said, "Abdul, Iggy, and you, Kakyoin, died fighting against Dio. He stabbed you in the stomach, but in doing so, you figured out Dio's ability, which helped Jotaro win."

"How do you know this...?!" Jouta was the first to respond, taking a step towards her.

"My old man told me after my battle."

"Jouta, stop!" Noriaki shouted at him, trying to stop him.

But it was too late. Jouta swung his fist and hit Jolyne in the face, but she only groaned and spat out blood.

"Bitch! Maybe more than half of it is true, but Dad didn't die, he survived. Is he really using that as a cover-up so that no one suspects his betrayal?"

Jolyne's head was lowered, feeling her head splitting. It was probably due to the blow, and she needed to retaliate.

"Listen... Never lay a hand on a woman!"

Jouta didn't expect her to stand her ground, and most importantly, she wasn't even scared.

"Jouta!!!!"

Jolyne quickly struck the guy's chin, causing him to step back and also spit out blood.

"Jolyne!"

Kakyoin quickly grabs his son's hand and pulls him closer, as if protecting the girl from him. His son acted horribly, but more importantly, he sees another Jotaro, along with the blonde.

Jolyne turns around and sees her family.

"Dad! Giorno! What's going on?" Jolyne cries out and wants to embrace her loved ones, but her hands pass through their bodies, causing her to almost fall. But the alternate Jotaro catches her and holds her to prevent her from falling again.

"Calm down, Jolyne. Tell us where you are, and we'll come for you."

"I don't know, and why do I see a different version of you, Dad!?"

Jouta steps out from behind Kakyoin, unable to believe his eyes. He sees another Jotaro. Could it be that the girl wasn't lying to them? Who is she?

Giorno opens his mouth and says, "This is another world."

"What...?"

"Jolyne, it seems like you've been dragged into another world, but why?" Giorno asks.

Suddenly, Jouta approaches the girl and gently places his hand on her shoulder, where the star is located.

"Who is she?" he asks the two unfamiliar people, posing a single question.

"My daughter," Jotaro answers.

Jouta hissed, realizing that he would have to apologize to her. But was it true that in her world, Noriaki had died on the day of the battle with Dio, yet still helped decipher the vampire's ability?

The situation was strange.

Giorno and Jotaro had been transparent and stood to the right of Jolyne, trying to do something to bring her back to her original world.

Kakyoin stepped out from behind his son and quietly added, "If... you were Jolyne from another world, then it made sense why the story was different. And therefore, there must have been a person in our world with a Stand that had the power of transportation, which meant there should have been one of you as well."

Jolyne fluttered her long eyelashes, and her eyes sparkled with hope for a positive outcome. They just had to find this person.

"Remember! He had dark hair tied in a low ponytail, looked Japanese, and he had a dragon tattoo on his neck."

Giorno simply nodded, memorizing every detail mentioned by Jolyne. It would be difficult to find such a person, but he would have done anything for her.

Jotaro approached her, wanting to take her hands but unable to do so, so he just looked into her eyes.

"Jolyne, did you see a tall, crazy blond guy who was chasing after you?"

She nodded, not knowing what else to say. She had been running away from him, that's all, and then she had been knocked out.

"Dio..." Jotaro looked at his alternate self, as if looking into a mirror, and said, "Protect her from him. Once we find the right person, we'll take her away from here immediately."

The alternate Jotaro nodded.

"I'm sure nothing will happen to her because we'll protect her."

Jolyne grabbed her head, experiencing a sharp pain. It seemed that this was how she could communicate with her family, but it came at the cost of a headache. She saw Giorno massaging his own head and looking at her, but he didn't say a word. His gaze spoke volumes: he asked her to be careful and conveyed his love for her, assuring her that he would do everything to get her out of there.

She mustered a tired smile in response, and her gaze softened.

Her family members disappeared.

"So, you're Jolyne. Nice to meet you, I'm Jouta," he extended his hand for a handshake. Jolyne reluctantly reciprocated. She needed allies here, not enemies.

"Know that I haven't forgiven your punch yet."

"Oh, come on. You hit me pretty good," he chuckled.

Both of them smiled, and then they looked at Jotaro and Noriaki, who were smiling and watching them with some joy.

Kakyoin clapped his hands.

"Well then, I suggest we get to know each other better over lunch," Noriaki turned around and headed to the kitchen. "Jolyne, what kind of food do you prefer?"

"I don't know. I've hardly ever eaten Japanese food, so everything will be new to me," Jolyne walked ahead because Jouta nudged her, indicating that she shouldn't be shy. They were practically family, despite their different origins. Perhaps it would be better to have a conversation at the table. That way, she could get to know them better, just as they could get to know her. Trust was needed.

"Then I'll prepare our noodles. We can gradually introduce you to our cuisine," Noriaki suggested.

"Dad, can I have something else, maybe... OUCH!"

Jotaro lightly slapped his son's head to prevent him from asking for a different meal.

"Jouta, don't forget that it's the same for all of us to make it easier to cook, and besides, I haven't had noodles in a long time."

Jouta snorted and sat down on a chair, then pointed to the adjacent chair for Jolyne to sit and wait for lunch.

Jolyne didn't feel any confinement or stress. On the contrary, she felt relaxed and comfortable, as if she had always lived here, and these people had been familiar to her her entire life. Perhaps it was because they were practically relatives. She would hope that this feeling wouldn't fade until the end of her stay in this world.

——————————

Giorno immediately sat down at his desk to buy tickets to Japan.

Meanwhile, Jotaro stood by the window, lost in thought. He hadn't seen Kakyoin in a long time. This is how he would look if he had survived. It's a shame that it didn't happen in his world. The only person he could trust with his daughter was himself.
