Chapter Text

Bowser was sitting down in his throne when Kamek mentioned to him the shyguys had captured a strange human in the darklands.

When the balloon arrived at the castle, the shy guys took the prisoner to the castle. Kamek told the minions he would take the things there. The red masked guys nodded as they took off in the balloon, leaving the little human to the mercy of the koopas.

Luigi was scared ... no he was terrified. He was sure he had peeked in his paints several times since he landed in these strange dark lands. That moment he felt all the colors drained from his face when he saw a giant turtle/dragon creature. THe creature was huge and he was pretty sure he was going to eat him alive,

Bowser's heart raced and swelled with delight; he loved the smell of fear.  His trusted and right hand magikoopa appeared and magiced him out of his rope bonds and into a set of blue magic ones. He raised Luigi off the ground and sent him forward. The human let out a yelp as he flew towards the great draconic beast.

"I'm not sure if you know who I am but I'm about to marry a princess and rule the world." He tried to play off confidently as he examined his sharp claws. He rubbed two together before placing one under the human's chin. Then Luigi laughed nervously.

"Wow, haha, yay…" He said weakly. Bowser's smile faltered for a split second. Luigi gulped; one wrong move and he wound up meeting his end.

“But there is one pro….” then he stopped his tracks as he felt a very peculiar smell coming from the human. Luigi shivered in fear as Bowser sniffed him closer, even sniffing the top of his head after removing his hat; could it be it? No it was impossible, they are extremely rare in the realm, especially among the koopas. From what he knew, the last time an omega was born in the koopa tribe was almost 500 years ago. “Wait, are you an omega?”

Kamek was surprised as well as he smelled Luigi and he had the same shocked expression as his king. "Sir, indeed, this human is an omega."

Luigi didn't like the expression of all the turtle creatures as if they found a very rare jewel. 

Bower looked at Luigi with hungry eyes as he ordered  Kamek to clean him and take him to clean and take him to the guest room. Luigi was terrified as the blue wizard nodded before taking Luigi inside the castle.

"Mario!" Luigi cried inside his mind as he was dragged away..

Luigi sat down on a small bench, naked, while a female koopa was splashing warm water on him as a second one was rubbing the sponge on your back, cleaning with soap.

"I hope the water is OK for you, divine omega." Said the koopa who splashed the water on him. She had a red ribbon on her head

"It's OK, thanks." Luigi said, shyly. Why did she call him divine omega? "Er… I can wash myself."

"Oh no divine omega! We can't do that. We were picked by Kamek himself to be your maids in waiting. He would make us dry bones if we let you do any labor."  Said the other one, with a blue ribbon on her head.

Luigi was very confused by their attitude. They seem to be nice compared to the bigger monster and the blue turtle wizard. "Maids in waiting? And why are you calling me divine omega?"

The female koopas explain to him that in their tribe omegas are extremely rare and usually only one is born every 300 years and this one is considered sacred, with the divine duty to lay an egg for the next koopa king.

Luigi's jaw dropped in shock: they can't be serious, can they?

"I heard our last divine omega was a very gentle mother queen. She mated the past alpha koopa king after they reached their adult age and they had an egg together. However a rogue alpha from another realm wanted to take her as his mate since omegas are so rare in those parts. I wouldn't be surprised if our mother queen was the only omega at that time." said the red ribbon one.

"Kamek told us it was horrible; the rogue killed our king and he wanted to destroy the egg, however, our mother queen fought with all her might to protect the egg from the invader. She killed him but she was badly wounded by the rogue. Kamek tried his best to heal our divine omega but her wounds were too severe and she succumbed from them. Our Alpha King Bowser hatched a few days after the king and the queen's deaths. Kamek had taken care of him since then.” said the blue ribbon one

“And since that day no omega was born in those past 500 years.” the red ribbon one said, with a sad expression on her face along with her twin.

Luigi was quiet from the story. Though his situation was bad, he felt bad about Bowser losing his parents before he hatched. Then he noticed something important. 

"Wait, your king is 500 years old?!" Luigi knew turtles live long but they coudn't live this long, could they?

"Yeah, Lord Kamek is 570 years old." The red ribbon koopa answered, smiling "They're the exception since they're royalty and magic users. We, the common folk, usually live only 200 years."

Luigi made a blank face; only 200 years? "Err.. if it's not too rude to ask, how old are you two?" 

Both the twins giggle as they say they're only 75 years old and they're still in their youthful years. Luigi only stares at them: they are the same age as his Nana.

After they cleaned him and gave him new clothes in green color. Luigi learned the twins' names were Lucina ( blue ribbon) and Celica ( red ribbon). They lead him to a room. The room was small but it had a fireplace, a bed and a bathroom. The window had( unfortunately) bars. He saw a plate with some bread and a water bottle on the table beside the bed.

"I dunno what humans eat but I bought a water bottle and some bread and some fruits. Tomorrow I will bring better food for you, divine one, I will try my best to make delicious food for your taste."said Lucina, looking determined.

"If you need anything we're in the room next door." Said Celica to Luigi.

“Thank you two, it will be enough for me. I will try to get some sleep. You two should rest as well." Said Luigi. 

Both the twins had a shine in their eyes,  muttering the divine omega was so kind to them.  Luigi blushed embarrassed before closing the door. He waited a few minutes before trying to open the door, but he found it locked.

Luigi looked at the window and sighed sadly. He wanted to go home and be back to his family.

“Mario, wherever you are, I hope you’re ok.”

Meanwhile in the throne room, Bowser was pacing back and forth, nervously while Kamek watched his king. They finally have an omega in their realm but his feelings were very conflicted. He really loved Princess Peach and he wished to marry her but the problem was most of his subjects didn’t approve of the one who he chose as his mate because firstly; she was not an omega. She was a beta from what his spies had told him. and secondly she was the ruler of an enemy kingdom. But now they had an omega in their hands he felt it was his duty to take this omega as his mate instead.

“Aught!! What Am I going to do?!” shouted Bowser, furiously. He had no idea what to do.

“Eer.. Sir, can I give you my opinion?” Kamek asked his king. Bowser nodded as the wizard proceeded. “I think you should delay the invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom for now and focus on the Omega we have.”

“Are you telling me to forget Peaches?” Bowser growled as smoke was coming from his mouth.

“Not at all Sir!” Kamek quickly answered. “As you know, no omega was born in the past 500 years since that invader attacked and killed our omega mother. Our people were waiting for an omega and an omega had just fallen into our lands. It is a divine sign. You know very well betas can’t have children with alphas, which is the reason why most of our people do not approve of you choosing Princess Peach as your mate. I am not telling you to forget the Mushroom princess, I am just saying you focus on the omega we have at the moment and make him our new omega mother. Our people are looking for the next heir.”

Bowser sat down on his throne, looking a bit defeated. “I know our people want to see the egg of the next heir. But I do not have feelings for this omega.”

Kamek understood what his king wanted to say. He wanted a mate out of love and not out of duty. “If this consoles you, my king, your parents had you out of duty but they really didn’t love each other as lovers. They loved each other as friends. They had their own lovers and they were very happy at this arrangement before that rogue alpha showing up and ruining everything.”

Bowser looked at Kamek in surprise, that was the first time he was hearing about this. He always thought his parents were lovers until the very end of their lives.

“I really don’t have to forget Peaches, do I?”  Bowser asks, hopefully.

Kamek shook his head. “No sir.You don’t have to forget the princess of Mushroom Kingdom. However, I suggest we come up with an agreement for both parties to be satisfied. We need this human, Luigi, to be our new omega mother, willingly.”

Both Bowser and Kamek knew very well it would be very difficult to convince Luigi to be their omega mother willingly.

Celica and Lucina returned to Luigi’s room.They bowed to the omega.

“Divine Omega, our king is calling you to dinner with him,” they both said.

Luigi didn’t like the idea of a dinner with their king.

Chapter Text

Luigi was being accompanied by his new maids in waiting; Celica and Lucina to the dinner hall. He would have dinner with their king but he was very worried. He had no idea how their king was and from what could see, he was not a creature to mess up with.

“Eer.. Celica, Lucina?”

“Yes divine one?” the twin said at the same time, looking at him.

“About your king, Bowser, right? What 's he really like? From my first impression, he looks like he's not someone I do not want anger.” said Luigi worried. He had experience from an angry alpha before.

The twins looked at each other a bit nervously. Celica was the first to answer him. She answered that it was true that their king, Bower, had a little anger management problem. Lucina frowned at her twin.

“A little?” she asks, “Sis, did you forget King Bower roasted our cousin, Owain, just because he asked what would happen if Princess Peach says no to his proposal? He’s a dry bone now.”

Luigi paled; indeed Bowser was a violent alpha and worse; one with anger issues. He had problems with one alpha before and he wished to not have to deal with an alpha with anger issues. Lucina and Celica looked at the omega in concern. 

“Don’t worry, divine one. King Bowser may look like an angry vulcano but he’s actually a good king. Lord Kamek did his best to parent him, as best as a beta could do for an alpha prince.”  Celica quickly said.

“Yeah, and he would never hurt you,” said Lucina. “Like we told you before, Omegas are precious in our realm; they’re like a divine figure to us. And Omegas not only lay eggs of future kings but also they are like a soft rain to cool off an alpha’s wildfire.”

Luigi still wasn't convinced by their words.

“I dunno girls. I already had an alpha who said he would not never hurt me but…” said Luigi, looking away from the twins while rubbing his arm.

Celica and Lucina looked a bit confused before releasing something very important; someone hurt the omega before them.

“Divine one, did anyone hurt you before?” Lucina asked, in concern.

Luigi didn’t look at them. He just told them he wished to not talk about it. Before they could say anything else, a dry bone koopa interrupted them.

“Eer girls, I suggest you three hurry up. His majesty is losing his patience, I don’t want to be roasted again.”

When Luigi saw the dry bone, he yelped in fear as he hid before the twins. The dry one bowed several times, begging for forgiveness for scaring the divine omega, hitting his head several times against the floor. And one of the bows made his head dislocate from his body, rolling his head to Luigi’s feet. Luigi screamed even more.

At the dinner hall, Bowser awaits his guest of honor. He admits he was a bit nervous since this is the first time he actually talks to an omega. Kamek assumes everything is going to be ok as long as he keeps his temper in control. Then a dry bone opens the door and announces the omega’s arrival.

Luigi arrived, Bowser admitted he looked nice in his new clothes.

“Hello, Luigi, isn’t it? I am happy for you to join us.” said Bowser, nervously. “ Please sit down while our staff brings our dinner.”

Before Celica and Lucina could leave, Luigi asked if his maids in waiting could join the table with them; he told them he would feel more comfortable if his maids were with him. Lucina and Celica had tears in their eyes, almost crying in joy; the divine omega wanted them!

Bowser looked at Kamek and Kamek nodded him back. Bower allowed for the maids in waiting to join the table with them. The dinner arrived and Luigi could see there was a roasted creature that was similar to a squid on the table. He was not sure at first but he was hungry; he hasn't eaten anything since the dinner back home in Brooklyn. After the dinner, Bowser looked at Luigi with a serious look on his face.

“Luigi, I take your maids in waiting have already explained about our situation, right?” Bowser asks.

Luigi gulped, nodding “Yeah. You guys need an omega to lay eggs for alpha kings right? But no omega hasn’t been born for a long time and right now I may be the only omega around?”

“Yes.” Kamek said, nodding to Luigi. “No omega Koopa has been born since that rogue alpha’s attack. And our subjects are looking for the egg of the next king."

Yep, that's his situation; those guys want him to have the king's baby. And the king is looking at him with puppy's eyes? It was too bizarre for his poor mind.

"Guys, I really am flattered you all think so highly about me but I don't think this will work, heheh." Luigi laughed nervously when they all looked at him in shock. "You guys lay eggs,right? I am human and humans are mammals. In other words, I can't lay eggs."

Except for echidnas and platypus but they don't need to know about this. But do echidnas and platypus exist in this world? Luigi wonders. But he hopes with him being unable to lay eggs they may give up on him to be their omega. He really hopes so.

"Oh if this is the case, we have a solution for this. " Said Kamek waving his magic wand. Then they saw images of a beautiful valley full of springs. "There is this valley called Valley Of Transformations. It's a valley with magical springs. You bathe in the koopa spring and you become one of us. Don't worry, it's not for good. If you wish to return to your human self you just need another spring to bathe to undo the transformation."

Kamek waved his wand again and the images vanished. Luigi's jaw dropped in shock; they even have a solution for the mammal issue?! There's no way to get out from this!

Bower felt Luigi's distress. He got up and got on his knees, bowing to him with his head touching the floor. The present koopas were in shock by their king's action; he was known to not knelt to no one.

"Luigi, please. We really need a new heir and you're the only one who can give us. We're not forcing you to do anything you don't want to. You don't need to be my mate. You don't need to marry me. You can even choose your own mate after you lay our egg. All I ask is to be our omega mother for our heir."

Luigi was shocked; he thought they were going to force him to do something he didn't want to do. But they were really giving him a choice. Here in this strange land omegas really were respected. So different from his world.

"Why so nervous, Luigi? I am just teaching you how to fix the pipe."

Luigi shivered when he remembered that alpha’s voice in his head. And here he was: in the presence of a scary big turtle-dragon alpha monster who was giving him a choice. And he didn’t feel he was being forced to do anything.

"At least can I think about it?" Luigi asks, shyly.

Bowser raised his head and looked at him with hopefully eyes. He agreed and even told him to have all the time he needed. The maids in waiting offered Luigi to walk him back to his room. Luigi was thankful for the twins and they left the dinner hall. When the door closed, Kamek was the first to break the silence.

“Well, at least he didn’t say no.” the wizard comments,sighing in relief.

“But he didn’t say yes either.” says Bowser sighing, while getting up. “I hope I wasn’t too pushful or looking too pathetic.”

“Of course not, your majesty.” says Kamek “You told him he didn’t need to be your mate and he can even choose his own after he has your egg. You give him liberty to choose and that’s something.”

Then, Bowser remembered Kamen mentioning his parents weren’t mates and they had their own lovers. Before he could ask him, the blue shell koopa entered the dinner room and started to give his superiors his reports about the Mushroom Kingdom. Bowser gasped: he almost forgot about Peaches! Kamek couldn't help but to facepalm, groaning in frustration.

Luigi laid down on his bed right after returning to his room. He was so tired. Bowser seemed to be very different from the first time they met but still he couldn’t fully trust him. He betted if he wasn’t an omega, he would be roasted to death or bing caged in a cage that is suspended above a lava lake. He shivered only thinking about it. For almost his whole life he cursed being an omega because of some unfortunate situations, but this time, he was lucky being one. 

“What am I going to do?” He asks himself. He stares blankly at the ceiling above him. “If there is any spiritual entity, could you give me a sign of what to do? Anything will do.”

To not his surprise nothing happened. Luigi sighs; he decides to sleep and get some rest. Tomorrow Luigi can deal with this crap. Luigi closes his eyes and falls into a deep slumber.

Luigi was confused when he found himself in a green field, covered in strange red flowers. Is it him or the powers had eyes? This world was getting weirder to him. Then, he saw something moving. On the top of the hill, he saw a huge tree and someone was swinging on the tree swing.

When he gets closer, he sees a creature swinging on the tree swing. The creature was very similar to Bowser, except they had darker green and gray scales and their shell had no spikes, instead they had tattooed runes, long silver mane and a snake tail, with an actual snake head.

The creature notices Luigi’s presence and they stop swinging. “Ciao Luigi. Ti stavo aspettando.” They say, smiling at him.

And the creature knows how to speak Italian. And for some reason, he knows that creature somewhere. But where?

Chapter Text

Luigi stared at the creature on the swing for some time. They speak Italian and somehow they look familiar to him. But where did he meet this creature before?

“Eer.. who are you?”

“Oh I’m hurt, Luigi.” said the creature, speaking in english, looking very hurt. “ I thought you knew me better than anyone else. We have known each other since you were a child.”  Even the snake tail looked upset at him.

Luigi stares at the creature once more then an image comes to his mind; of a giant and gentle tortoise from his dreams, the one who always gives him advice when he couldn’t talk to his parents about some stuff.

“Miss Tortoise?”  He asks.

The creature smiles.

“Finally you recognized me, Lu!” The creature laughs happily while hugging him. Luigi yelps when her snake tail hisses in happiness while rubbing against his check.

Miss Tortoise was Luigi’s imaginary friend. She has been with him since he was five years old but he stopped seeing her when he was eight. She only appeared to him again in his darkest hour, when he had to go through something that his family was very against and if they ever found out, they would disown him, just like how they did to a cousin.

After a very long five minutes, the creature undo the hug, staring at each other’s faces.

“Wait, why are you here?” he asks “ And why are you a koopa? And with a snake tail?”

The creature laughs as her snake tail looks at Luigi a bit offended. The creature reveals Luigi her real name is Durga and yes, she always had been a koopa with a snake tail. Lugi asks why he never had seen her in her real form.

“That’s simple, you would be scared if you see me in my real form. Since you watched that Godzilla vs Gamera movie when you were a kid, you were scared of kaijuu like creatures. So I had to disguise myself as a friendly giant tortoise without my snake tail for me to be closer to you since you’re going to be the omega mother after me.”

Luigi’s jaw dropped in shock; Miss Tortoise… I mean Durga was the omega mother of the Koopa Tribe and King Bower’s mother?! Durga laughs joyfully as she rubs Luigi’s checks, telling him she really missed his cute face.

“Miss Torto… I mean Durga, why are you here?’” Luigi once asks, rubbing his sored checks once she stops rubbing them.

“You asked for someone to give you advice. And here I am, giving them to you.” she smiles.

Somewhere else, Mario, Peach and Toad are camping in a field of fire flowers. While camping, they are chatting, to get to know each other better. Then, Mario confesses Luigi is his twin and this is the first time they were apart for so long. He is also worried for his safety since he is an omega. Toad made a surprise face.

“Wait, is he an omega?” Toad asks, surprised. Mario nods to him, confused. “Well, that changes everything. The koopa must be spoiling him right now.”

Now Mario is very confused; what does he mean with Luigi being spoiled by the enemy? Princess Peach snaps her fingers, remembering from her studies that omegas are treated like holy deities by the koopa, as they are extremely rare in the realm. Mario is even more confused.

“Why are omegas treated like holy deities? It’s not only because they’re rare, is it?” Mario asks, fearing for the worse

“Omegas are the only ones to lay eggs for future alpha kings. That’s what Grampa Toad told me.” said Toad as he folded his arms, thinking; “ I think the last omega koopa died 500 years ago and I believe no omega was born since then.”

Mario paled; he asked them if this Bowser would force Luigi to have his child. Princess Peach told him Bowser may be a warlord but the last thing he would want to do is hurt an omega.

“Hurting an omega is the worst crime someone would commit.” Princess Peach starts to explain to Mario what she knows about Koopa. “I read in history book once that an omega was hurt by an idividual and the criminal was torture by the Koopa until their death. I hate to say this but your brother right now is safe but I don’t think Bowser and the Koopa tribe will give up on him so easily.” Says Princess Peach to Mario.

Mario was not convinced his brother was safe, at least for now. Luigi had gone through so much just for being an omega and because of Spike, he had gone to the worst moment of his life. He really needed to rescue his brother as fast as possible. For Luigi’s sake and his own.

Luigi and Durga were sitting together on the swing. Luigi asked how come the swing did not break under their weight. Durga only responded in the dreamworld, physics did not exist in that place.

“I know you’ve been there for me for a long time but why?” Luigi asks “I am just a male omega. And I’m not even a koopa”

Durga sighs, looking at Luigi with sad eyes. “You see Luigi, I was not only an omega mother to my tribe at my time, but I was also a great and powerful sorceress. I also had some unique gifts; one of them was of clairvoyance. On my deathbed, I saw you with my son, Bowser. So, I used the last of my power to become your spirit guide. You’re important to us, It’s not because you’re an omega who fell into the darklands by accident, but because you will be the one to change my son’s heart, stopping him from being the warlord he is today.”

Luigi was speechless. He mentioned to Durga he couldn't think he could do it. He was just a male omega who had gone through a lot of hardships just for him being an omega. And he asked her if the Koopa tribe would hate him once they found out what he did. Durga told him that her tribe would never ever hurt him, much less hating him. They would mostly likely to hunt down Spike and torture him once they learn what he did to him in the past. Luigi paled: the last thing he wanted was to be involved with Spike, his former boss, again. Even if deep down he wanted to hurt him badly as much as he did to him.

“Luigi, you weren’t the only human omega to fall in the koopa lands.”

Luigi was shocked. He told her it was the first time he was hearing this. A human omega before him? None mentioned that. Bowser, Kamek and his maids in waiting only mentioned her, being the omega mother who was loved by everyone, even in death. From what he knew, she was the only omega before he arrived in the Darklands. Durga sighed, in sadness, telling him she didn’t deserve their love. She was the one who destroyed their lands, turning their beautiful home lands the Darklands that were today.

Durga got up from the swing as the runes on her shell started to glow. She drew a rectangle, forming a screen midair. She turned to Luigi.

“Before you make any decision related to my tribe, first you need to learn our past. About myself, about the past king, about the omega child and about that rogue alpha who changed everything.”

Chapter Text

The Darklands weren't dark, dead and gloom and doom. Once it was filled with green, light and life. The Darklands had another name; Koopalands.

The lands were ruled by King Theos. An alpha who was loved by his people. Ruled with wisdom, courage and strength.

CRASH

Theos was brawling with another creature as big as he was; a Kong.

"I could do this for the whole day!" Says the koopa king, smirking.

His rival Kong smirks back. "So do I."

Once more they exchanged punches and kicks while destroying the family heirlooms, furniture, vases and statues. A young Kamek along with two foot koopa soldiers only one stared at the chaos the two alphas were causing in the middle of the great hall of the castle.

"Kamek, shouldn't we stop them?" One of the soldiers nervously asked the wizard in training.

"Are you joking?!" Kamek snapped, holding his wand closer to his chest, being afraid of his precious wand being destroyed along with everything in the room. "It's impossible for us, betas, trying to stop two brawling alphas!"

"But if we don't do anything, our omega mother will wake up and she's not going to be pleased with this commotion going on."  Said the other soldier.

They only stared at the alphas, nervously as they kept destroying more stuff in the room. Then, they all gasped in horror when a painting fell to the floor and the canvas were ripped apart with the impact; it was the omega mother's favorite painting!

"This is not good, is it?" The soldier asked, terrified.

Kamek was speechless; the favorite painting that his teacher, the omega mother, the art piece she loved so much was now ruined! Before anyone could do anything…

BANG!

…the doors of the great hall opened violently as their omega mother, Durga, was standing there. Oh boy, she looked very but very mad as she looked at the destruction as the two knucklehead alphas kept brawling, ignoring everyone's present. Kamek and the soldiers slowly approached their omega mother and queen in fear.

"My queen, I am sorry, we couldn't stop them." Said Kamek, very nervous.

Kamek and the soldiers gulped in fear as Durga only stared at the troublemakers with her snake tail hissing in anger. The runes of her shell glowed and with a movement of her hand made Theous and the Kong to be separated and floating in the mid air. They gulped when they notived Durga was there and she was not happy at the moment. 

"Hello my queen, did you sleep well?" Theos asked, smiling nervously. 

"Dur, my buddy!" Says the Kong, joyfully. "Congrats for the egg!" Then he made a confused face as he turned to Theos “She had her egg, right?”

Durga growled; that was the last drop. She had enough and she used her magic to slam the two troublemakers against the floor, hard. The two brawlers yelped in pain. Durga wasn't done with them yet. She glared first at the king of koopa.

"Theos Marvelous Koopa! You're the fucking king; act like one!" The king gulped as the omega mother turned her glare to the Kong, who was shivering in fear as well. 

"Rex Grandius Kong! You're a guest here and you should know how to behave in the others' houses. After all, you're the Kong prince! And no, I still haven't laid my egg yet."

Both the alphas knew they were in so much trouble whenever Durga used their full names. They quickly on their knees, bowing and begging for Durga to forgive them. The Omega mother ignored them and stared at the mess the two royal alphas made. And she noticed her favorite painting was ruined. She took a deep breath before glaring at the troublemakers.

"You two!" She pointed at them, in anger," You’re going to clean this mess without the staff's help!" They were going to protest but with an angry hiss from her snake tail was enough for both of them to shut up ,"I'm going to my happy place to cool my nerves off. The great hall better be clean by the time I get back! Or else I am going to rip your balls off and give them to the piranha plants!"

With that she stormed off with Kamek following behind her, she used her magic to slam shut doors. The two alphas only stared at the closed doors.

“Man,” Rex Kong broke the silence. “No wonder she’s known as the strongest omega ever.”

And another frame fell into the floor. The two koopa soldiers only shook their heads in shame.

In the field of fire flowers, Durga was sitting on the tree swing while eating some fire flowers. Kamek only stared at his teacher and queen with a blank expression on his face; how can she eat those flowers like they were sweets?

“Tell me Kamek, why are male alphas idiots? Queen Aretha was not an idiot like them, is it because she was a female alpha ? In the next three days I am going to lay my egg and I need peace and silence before the event.” Durga still was eating the fire flores in anger. “But with those two muscleheads around ...urght...it will be impossible!”

Queen Aretha was a rare female alpha who ruled the tribe along with King Ravi was, who was the omega mother before Durga.  Durga presented as omega thirty years after the male omega mother’s passed away, dying from the old age. Durga was adopted by the queen and she became her apprentice for 20 years, until the queen's passing three years ago.

“Well, from what my nana told me, Queen Aretha had Omega Mother Ravi for almost 250 years. They were together until the king’s passing. They had a long time together, enough time for Ravi to cool the queen off. I heard she was also a typical alpha; a hothead who likes to fight everyone. By the time you meet her, Ravi’s soft rain has already cooled her wildfire off. That's why she was cool, unlike her son, our current king.

Yeah, Queen Aretha was a wise queen and not a short tempered hothead like her son, Theos. She gave her all the magic books that belonged to her former husband because she believed she was very strong in magic and she was right. Magic was like her second nature and she became powerful because of this. The queen passed away before Theos and Durga’s wedding day.

“I know you don’t like our King Theos like how Queen Aretha did with King Ravi . I understand you two married out of duty; for the sake of the royal bloodline. You two are only married for three years and It will take a long time before you're able to cool our king's fire off. But why do you love that kong? I really don’t really understand; why him? You two are so different.”

Kamek was the only one who knew about Durga and Theos’ secret. They were mates but they don’t love each other. At least not as mates; they love each other more like friends. The past queen had no idea that her son had no attraction for anyone. He was not attracted to any gender at all. And Durga’s lover was a kong, the same one who destroyed the great hall along with King Theos in their brawling play. Kamek could understand his king’s circumstances since it was not the first time an alpha leader hides their preferences. But he couldn’t understand why the omega mother had a romantic relationship with a kong. He could understand a kremling but a kong?

“Wait a second!” Luigi shouted

Luigi stared at the floating screen in shock while he stared back at Durga who was blushing a bit embarrassed. Even her snake tail blushed a bit.

“Seriously? You loved a gorilla?”

“A kong, my bdear. A kong, Yeah, Rex may be a very unique choice but we really loved each other. And don’t look at me like that: we all have different tastes: Just like you have a secret crush involving a certain short box fighter?” she smirked at Luigi.

Luigi blushed, his face was as red as a tomato. He was very embarrassed. He quietly asked Durga to proceed with her story. Durga pressed the play button on the remote control.

Durga looked a bit embarrassed, blushing a bit. Yep, she was a koopa who loved a kong. And this kong loved her back.

“Well, Rex may be an idiot knucklehead like most of the alphas, but unlike everyone else, he doesn’t treat me as a divine deity. He treats me as Durga and not as her holyness divine omega mother or Queen of Koopas .”

Kamek understood what she meant. Before she was presented as an omega, she was the weirdo of the clan, for being tall, big and having a living snake tail. She was bullied by her siblings, however she beated them back. Durga didn’t take shit from anyone, even if they were her siblings or her beta father. And after she had her first heat and presented as an omega, everyone who bullied her started to kiss her ass. Rex Kong was the only one who didn’t respect her as the omega mother but as Durga herself and she loved him for that.

Then, their conversation was interrupted when they saw a bright light on the horizon.The light came from the warping pipe zone. Suddenly Durga felt something, or rather someone and they were asking for help. Durga rushed to the warping pipe zone.

“My queen, wait for me!” Kamek cried out while following his queen.

In the warping pipe zone, a human boy, no older than 12 years, looked at his surroundings , scared. He had no idea how he ended up there; the last thing he remembered was falling into a hole from the sewer and then he appeared there. But how?

“LUKE!”

He trembled in fear as he turned around and saw an adult man coming out from the pipe. He was wearing armored leather and had a whip on his right hand.

“You little shit, where did you send us?”

Before the adult could do anything to the child, he was brutally paralyzed by an invisible force. The force was so brute that made him let his weapon fall to the ground. Then, Durga and Kamek suddenly appeared in front of the child.

“Who the hell are you? You can’t be demons, demons can’t stand the sunlight!” the man yelled in anger.

Durga only frowned at him. Her snake tail saw the boy being held by Kamek, she noticed the boy was covered in bruises. Durga glared at the man in anger while her snake tail hissed angrily at him.

“Did you hurt this child?” she asks, coldly

“What if I did?” He asks “He’s just an useless male omega; a disgrace to the family. As his alpha father, I have every right to do anything with him. And why do you care? You're just a monster, like the ones I slayed before.”

Durga and Kamek released a very killing intense aura. Durga used her magic to strangle him, cutting his access to the air. The boy noticed this and he held Durga’s arm.

“Stop, please! I know he hurt me and I don't mean anything to my family, but he’s still my father!” the child cried, with tears coming out of his eyes. “Please, don’t kill him!”

Durga frowns as she lets the man go. The man falls into the ground, coughing. But Kamek quickly uses his magic to bound the man with magic ropes, to make sure he would not do anything to them or to the child.

“Don’t get this wrong, human. You committed a very serious crime in this realm and you will be judged by our king. Believe me, you will wish my queen here had killed you.” said Kamek in a cold tone.

Kamed used a sleeping spell to make the alpha man fall asleep. The boy squealed as he stepped away from Durga. 

“You’re a queen?! I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to touch you without permission! Forgive me!”

The child was on his knees, bowing at her. Durga kneed in the front of the child, gently raising his face. With her magic, she saw the child's memories; of his alpha father hurting him because he was presented as a male omega and treating him like shit while the child's mother only watched the abuse happening before her. This almost made her cry, but she needed to be strong for the child.

“You’re safe here, little one. We'll not allow anyone to hurt you ever again.” she gently said to the child. “Here in this realm, omegas are treated with respect.”

The boy couldn’t believe what he was hearing. His whole life his father was telling him he was useless and he had no strength to fight demons like his older brothers and male cousins; he was just useless like his sisters and mother. In this unknown realm omegas were treated with respect? Did he die and went to heaven?”

“What’s your name, kid?” Kamek asks.

The boy looked away, before gaining courage to make eye contact with his saviors. He knew not every monster was evil and two turtle creatures were the prove of this; they saved him from his abusived father,

“Belmont. I am Luke Belmont.”

Chapter Text

Luigi was shocked by the events; so he and his brother were not the first humans to arrive in that strange world. The first one was an omega boy and an omega from the Belmont family no less. Durga was surprised to see Luigi knew something about the Belmont clan. Luigi admitted he had read about them in history books: they were a very influential family, however they just vanished around the year of 1400’s.

“Are you sure they are gone?” She asked, looking serious at Luigi.

“I have no idea.” Luigi admits. “Perhaps there are some left but I think they lost most of their influence thanks to the catholic church or something.A lot of influential families vanished around that time, when the witchhunt first started. Why are you worried about the Belmonts?”

Luigi had a bad feeling about this. He knew Durga was a very powerful being and if she was worried about the Belmonts, it meant they were bad news. Durga only told him to continue to watch the events and he would understand her concerns involving the Belmonts.

Luke groaned as he woke up on an unknown bed. He had no idea how he got there. He rose to a sitting position while checking on himself: he had flesh clothes and all his bruises and wounds were gone. Then, he remembered two turtle creatures saving him from his father. It had to be a dream, no one would save an male omega like him from his father.

“Greeting kid. I am happy to see you’re finally awake. Durga will be happy hearing this.” Said a powerful and yet joyful voice.

Luke turned his right and saw a giant turtle with horns on his head, spikes on his shell and a bright red mane. Nop; none of this was a weird dream. Everything was pretty real.

“Sorry, but who are you?” Luke asks, already accepting he ended up in a very weird place. At least it was not hell.

“Oh, my apologies, I am King Theos- King of Koopas. Welcome to our realm, kid. Durga has already told me about your circumstances. None here will hurt you, you were sleeping for three days.” He smiled softly to the kid.

Luke's eyes widened in shock.”Three days?! I was sleeping that long?!” the kid shouted. 

Then, he remembered his father was also in this world. He asked what happened to him. The king’s expression changed; he frowned and he told him they made a trial for his father, following the koopas laws.

“Kid, you world may not treat  their omegas with the respect they deserve, but here, in our realm, we see omegas as holy entities; we consider a very hideous crime if someone hurts and abuses an omega. Their punishment is death." 

Luke paled; he asked if they killed his father. Theos shook his head.

“Kid, my wish is to break your father’s neck and throw his body into a lava pit. However we listen to our omegas’ wishes. Your wish is for us to not kill your father, we didn’t kill him. But his actions didn’t go unpunished before our laws, we left him on the Desert Land without his weapons, armor, water and food. The desert will deal with his sins without us dirting our claws with his blood.”

Theos didn’t mention he ripped the kid’s father’s hands with his own claws before ordering to the shyguys throwing him to the desert. But that was a detail the omega child didn’t need to know.

Luke felt the king was hiding something but you know what? He really didn’t care about it.   That man was his alpha father but he was a bastard. He guessed it was for the best, being away from him, away from his world. He felt he could trust these odd and strange turtle creatures. Then, they heard a loud growl. The omega boy blushed embarrassed while the kings laughed.

“Looks like someone is hungry.” the king teases the child. Then, his own stomach also growls.

The king blushed as Luke giggled a bit. Theos smiled; it was good  to see the omega child was smiling. He offered his hand and he guided the child to the dinner hall.

“Your majesty, where is the queen?” Luke asks “I wanna thank her for saving me.”

“She is in the bedchambers and right now she is having the egg of my child: the next koopa king.” Theos said, smiling. “And just call me Theos. You’re part of the family now.”

Luke gasps in surprise and smiles. They turtles are going to be parents and he's going to witness. He feels he was the luckiest omega.

Meanwhile in the desert land, the alpha Belmont, with no hands, no weapons, no water and food wandered around the sandy lands under the hot sun. The alpha collapsed, he was really going to die in that damned place. He blamed Luke and the koopa for his disgrace. How dare those creatures treat him like that? He was a Belmont! He may be not from the main branch of the family or powerful like the current family head, but he could have been powerful and respected by others if his older alpha sons didn’t die in such a pathetic way and his wife gave an abominable omega son and alpha daughter.

The sun set and darkness filled the lands. His hate had attracted some ghosts.

"Look what we have here, brothers." said one of the ghosts

The Belmont only glanced at the ghosts who were snickering at him. 

"So much hate, my goodfella. Tell us, why such hate?" Asked another ghost, smirking while being curious. 

"Why should I tell you?" The Belmont asks, glaring at them.

"Well.. you're dying and we're the only ones around. Don't be an asshole and just tell us. You have nothing to lose for telling us." Said the other ghost who was not very amused at the human's  behavior. 

The alpha Belmont thought a bit. They were right; he had nothing to lose. He told them how he should have been the head of the Belmont house, not his second cousin. His  wife should have given him stronger sons, instead, she gave him two weak alpha sons who died by weak night demons and, omega son and an alpha daughter who were nature freaks themselves. He didn’t understand why those monster turtles see omegas as holy entities; they were weak and their only duty was to give birth to strong alpha sons.

“Well, I guess you’re a pathetic alpha as well, Belmont.” said one of the ghosts, in a mocking tune. “You lost to Durga, the strongest omega of all kingdoms.”

“Omegas can't be stronger than alphas.”  The Belmont argued,angrily. “You’re sounding like my cousin. He believes omegas can be more than the mothers of our children and they can be as strong as us, alphas.”

“My man, Durga kicked your ass, her alpha king ripped your hands and they left you to die here.I have no idea how your world works, but here, omegas, though rare, are very powerful in their generation and Durga is no different. I heard she defeated the prince of Kongs in a duel; a fair and square wining.”

Then, one of the ghosts came up with an idea. If they play this well, they might get into  something very interesting and no one would have the power to stop them. THey need play their cards right.

“Say buddy, may I call you buddy?” the Belmont frowned, but the ghost ignored him “How about a little deal; we can make you stronger, stronger enough to revenge your fall on the koopa tribe”

The other ghost looks at their ghost brother in confusion; what’s their sibling up to? It's not their nature to be helpful to others. The Belmont also catches the other ghosts’ behavior.

“And what's the catch?” the Belmont asked, frowning. The ghost smirked.

“Simple, we want to use your body as a vessel. You see, we the Boo, we love creating chaos, destruction and messing around. But Durga and some shamans from the other kingdoms around make it impossible for us to have our fun. But if we transform your body into a powerful being, we may have a chance to defeat them all, even if they use the power of a super star.”

The Belmont chucked; the deal didn’t sound so bad at all. He already lost everything; and he wouldn’t be the first falling Belmont.  At least he would have his revenge on those damned turtle creatures and on Luke who was responsible for his downfall in the first place.

“I guess we have a deal.” he said.

The boos cried in joy as more books appeared around the fallen human. The Belmont cried out in pain as hundreds of boos entered his body as his body started to change.

Luke felt shivers in his spine; a bad omen? He was not sure. After he had eaten his lunch, Theos had taken him to Durga’s bedchambers.The omega boy asked the king if it was alright visiting her right now; Durga just laid her egg and he was just a stranger. Theos just smiled and told Luke everything was good and it was ok to visit Durga; she would love their visit. 

They entered the bedchambers and Luke saw a giant gorilla beside Durga’s bed. Durga seemed to be exhausted but very happy. In her arms there was a huge yellow egg with red and green dots.

“Luke, my boy. I am happy to see you well.” the queen of koopa said. Her snake tail hissed happily.

“Thank you for welcoming me to your realm, your majesty. The king fed me and I am already  feeling well.” Luke said, bowing to the queen.

“Kid, you don’t need to be so formal to us. Like I said before, you’re family now.  You can call us by our names.” says Theos, putting his hand on Luke’s shoulder.

The young omega boy only blushed, saying he could never do such a thing to royals. Then, he asked who the gorilla was. Rex happily introduced himself as the prince of kongs and Durga’s lover. Luke looked confused; lover? He asked Theous if he knew this and the king of koopas said he did and he was very ok with this. Luke was even more confused; what? He looked at the queen and the queen confirmed Theous was asexual and he has no interest for either genders, they only married out of duty and not for love. 

However, She also tells him they are friends and they agree to do anything that makes them happy as long as they do not harm others. Luke looks at the queen and then at the kong prince and then at the koopa king; his face is showing a pretty much confused expression. Rex laughs at his face.

“Kiddo, I can see gears spinning in your head. Ahahaha” the kong prince laughs. “But being serious, I plan to become a koopa at the Valley of Transformation once I convince my pops to make my sister, Reina, to be the queen.”

“Reina?”  Luke asks, tilting his head.

“My twin sister. She’s an alpha too, but unlike me, she has a good head on her shoulders.”

Luke is shocked hearing this; are female alpha respected there as well? Theos responds his mother was the alpha queen and her reign was great in the last two centuries. Luke asks what the Valley of Transformation is. Rex answers it's a magical valley where you bathe in magical springs and you come out as another being. That caught Luke’s interest. And Durga notices Luke’s interest in the valley.

“Theos, Rex, would you mind leaving the room? I need to talk with Luke.”

“Sure thing my queen. Would you like me to take the egg to the incubator chamber?” The king asks, already reaching for the egg.

With a single stare and her snake tail angrily hissing was enough to make the koopa king step back in fear; that was a big no.

“I will take the egg to the incubator chamber, my queen,” says Kamek as he gently takes the egg from Durga. 

Durga thanks her apprentice, smiling at him. Then, she glares at the two knucklehead alphas. She tells them they can brawl in the garden as long they do not cause too much damage. They both smile and thank Durga before they all leave the bedchambers. 

When they were alone, Durga moved a bit on the bed, inviting Luke to sit down beside her. He didn’t want to, calling himself dirty and not worthy to sit down beside a queen, but the gentle queen told him he wasn't dirty. He was a beautiful and clean omega. Luke slowly sat down beside Durga.

“You’re interested in the Valley of Transformation, aren’t you?” she asks

“I was that obvious, wasn’t I?” he asks, embarrassed.

The queen nodded and she asked why he wanted to be something else. Luke sighed; he admitted he disliked being human. Being a human was nothing but trouble. He told her in his world, people couldn't be themselves, if they do, they were either disowned by their family or worse, being accused by the church of being witches and being killed either by hanging or being burned alive at the stake. Being a male omega and being a female alpha were considered freaks of nature in his society.

“My family are specialists in hunting demons and other evil night creatures. We do this for our whole lives and for what? Humans are stupid; they sacrifice virgin omegas to invoke demons they adore only for this very demon to kill them all or use them as tools. The church, they have too much power and they quickly are getting corrupted inside. Soon or later all the members of Belmont house will be killed by them. And with no Belmont around, demons and evil night creatures will be free to cause havoc and who's to blame? Human’s stupidity. Since I have arrived here, you didn’t treat me as a freak or a monster. I got more love and respect with you for a few days than being with my own kind in my whole life. That’s why I don’t want to be human anymore. I want to be one of you. I want to be a koopa.”

Durga was quiet, hearing Luke’s story. His world sounded like a terrible place to live and worse; it was a place where they abuse their live bringers. What a terrible and disgraceful place. Durga understood why Luke didn’t want to be human anymore but she couldn’t allow him to rush for things.

“Luke, my boy, I understand why you don’t be human anymore. Humans sound like a terrible race. But I can’t allow you to rush things or else you will have regrets.” Durga said to Luke. “How about a deal? I will teach you magic along with my apprentice, Kamek. When you’re old enough, you will travel around the kingdoms of this world, you will meet their people and their culture. After meeting everyone, that’s where you can decide who you want to be. What do you think?”

Luke was quiet for a moment. He only knew one magic, and that magic was the type to kill him once he used it. Learning other types of magic sounds good and traveling around in this strange world sounds even better. Luke nodded. He promised he would be her best student. Durga smiled and hugged the child, telling him he made a wise decision. Luke couldn’t help, even when her body was cold, her embrace was still warm. He felt she was being hugged by a kind and gentle mother.

 At the garden, by some miracle, Theos and Rex were not brawling ( yet). They took the opportunity to talk like civil royals. Theos mentioned he was surprised to see Rex wanted to be one of them and not a kong. He asked why he wanted to be one of them. Rex smiled before answering.

“That simple; first reason - I love Durga. She respects my free spirit and the real me. She never forced me to change my ways. Second reason- I really don’t want to be the king of kongs; too many responsibilities on my shoulders and I am pretty sure I would make dumb decisions that would lead the Jungle Kingdom to doom. Reina is better to be the king than myself. But my pops is stupidly stubborn; he believes only male alphas can lead our people even when Reina has already shown many opportunities to be a better leader than me. She beat me up by only using her intelligence. She’s an amazing tactician but pops can’t see this, he’s too blind to the old male alpha ways. And the third reason why I want to be one of you; I hate bananas.”

Theos madea very confused face. What? Rex explained everyday he eats bananas and its variants and he was very sick eating bananas. Theos thought Rex’s kind ate other types of fruits beside bananas. Rex mentioned yes, they do but most of their diet was bananas. And in the Koopa Lands, he could eat everything: cheese, pastas, fish and even meat. Theos was speechless; he had no idea his rival was the only kong in the whole world that hated bananas. Before he could say anything else, both the alphas felt something horrible, something smelling like death. When they turned around they saw a kremling walking towards them. They had their left eye missing, a piece of their tail gone and so was their right arm. The Kremling was very badly hurt.

“Please… help me….” they said. Their body had several burns and some wounds were bleeding, forming a path of stained blood spots in the floor. “ We need to warm the kingdoms….” They fall to the floor.

Rex wanted to rush to help the poor creature but Theos stopped him. He warned him the kremling was infected by some type of dark miasma; if they touch the kremling, they would be infected as well. The kremling looked at them, their face only showing disappear while trying reach their hand to the royals.

“Please… warn all the kingdoms…. A monster appeared…Crocodile Land is gone, nothing left…. And Koopa Lands… is next.”

Then, the kremiling’s body turned into ashes, blown by the wind. Rex and Theos were now worried; What kind of monster would be able to destroy a whole land? Theos turned to Rex and told him to summon his father, the kong king and Reina while he would summon the king of penguins of snow kingdom and the king of toads of the mushroom kingdom to invoke the war council. Never in his long life he would need to invoke a war council. If this creature was able to destroy Crocodile Land, the other kingdoms may be under a very menacing danger.

On the Crocodile Island , a huge creature covered by dark miasma looked around and he was pleased by the destruction he caused. His eyes glowed red as he smelled the smell of death and blood.

The creature was gigantic- they had a body of a lion, two pairs of dragon wings and a scorpion tail, the face remained a face of a distorted face of a human.

”Lu…ke…” the creature growled while breathing miasma out of its mouth. The distorted face belonged to Luke’s abusive father.

Luigi was horrified; he never had imagined Luke's father would turn into a giant manticore and with a strong lust for blood and destruction. Durga told Luigi that Luke had explained to her once that humans can turn into monsters when they form contracts with demons, specters and night creatures. She had never anticipated that the boos would cause so much damage when they formed a contract with a human with a rotten soul like Luke's father. Boos usually were troublemakers but they couldn’t do great damage, especially with shamans and exorcists watching them in the Desert Land, keeping them under control. By using Luke’s father, things changed to their favor.

“The kongs, the toads, the penguins and the koopas armies fought bravely against that monster when he arrived in our lands. However we never had ever anticipated he was extremely powerful. Everyone fell; Theos and Rex among the casualties.” said Durga with tears rolling down from her face.

Luigi puts his hand over his mouth, horrified with the scene he was watching; the manticore was merciless, tearing everyone apart in his way, leaving a trail of blood and destruction. With his dark power, once the beautiful green and light lands now became the Dark lands that are known today. Durga was last to fall thanks to the power of the super star she had. However once the power was gone, her body suffered great damage when she tried to protect some soldiers with her shield magic but she failed.

“However, the one who saved this world was Luke. He committed himself to one last act to save this world.”

Durga was on her knees, coughing blood as she felt her body with several burned wounds. She felt her body was infected by the monster’s miasma. She looked around and saw Theos and Rex, along with the rest of the armies lying lifeless on the ground; they all were dead, except for her. She was the only one alive but for how long?

“It is a shame you’re not human, Durga.” the manticore Belmont said. “I admit, you’re more powerful and stronger than my pathetic wife. If you were a human, you could have given me strong alpha sons and I wouldn't have been a joke among the Belmont house.”

Durga gritted her teeth in anger; she told him she preferred to die than having anything to do with him. He was the one who was a disgrace. The manticore was about to attack the koopa queen when…

“FIRE!!” shouted a voice

The manticore roared in pain as several bullet bills hit him. Durga looked up and saw the koopa flying war ship, she could see Luke, along with Kamek and some kremilings who survived from the attack on the homeland, they all were on the board of the ship. Kamek used this opportunity to use his magic to teleport Durga to the ship.

“Take this, you bastard! This is for our homeland!” A bulk kremiling shouted angrily. He ordered the survivors to keep firing against the monster.

“Luke, Kamek, you shouldn’t be here. Cof cof!” Durga coughed.

Kamek was horrified; his queen, his omega mother, his teacher, she was badly hurt. She was infected by the monster’s miasma. He knew she wouldn’t live long, even if he used his healing magic on her. He felt useless for not being able to save Durga’s life.

Luke didn't turn around, he only stared at his former father. He asked Kamek if he had the amphora ready. Kamek confirmed as he used his magic to levitate an amphora. Durga was confused; why did they need an amphora?And was that the amphora that King Ravi gave her? What were they planning with it? The manticore finally noticed Luke on the board of the ship.

“Trying playing a hero, Luke?” mocked his father “That turtle queen thing is the strongest omega and she couldn't stop me. What a pathetic and weak omega like you can do against me?”

Luke only glared at his father.

“Don’t be so smug, foolish father of mine. You’re a disgrace to the Belmont name. Your alpha pride will be your downfall.” Luke said as he used a knife to do a small cut in his finger as he started to draw rune symbols on his body by using his own blood. 

Durga asked Kamek what he was doing. Kamek only told him Luke knew a way to stop the monster. What way? The kremilings kept firing their bullet bills against the monster.

“Luke, what are you planning to do?” Asks Durga once more to the young omega boy.

“Remember when I told you some people from my world sacrifice virgin omegas as a way to invoke demons from hell? Well, I always thought the same can be applied using virgin omegas to seal away the very same demons, which is the reason why I was secretly studying seals involving sacrifices in my family’s library. ”

Durga’s eyes widened in realization; Luke was planning to sacrifice himself to seal his fallen father away. Durga shouted he couldn’t do it, she begged him not to sacrifice his life. She even ordered him to use her as a sacrifice since her life was ending anyway because of her infection from miasma. 

“Sorry, the spell only works using virgin omegas. And I’m the only virgin omega around. I am sorry Queen Durga, This is my responsibility as a member of Belmont clan to take this demon down.” Then, Luke turned his head, looking at the queen with a gentle and sad smile for one last time. “Thank you for everything, I love you all. Goodbye”

Luke clapped his hands as the runes on his body started to glow. Suddenly the amphora floated above him and started to pull the manticore’s body inside of it. The fallen Belmont tried to fight but the spell was powerful. Luke’s body vanished in a golden light at the same time the manticore was fully sealed inside of the amphora. The present witnesses saw the amphora being warped with golden chains with a symbol of an odd cross; the Belmont’s crest seal.

Durga let out a very angsty cry while calling for Luke.

“Thanks to Luke’s sacrifice, we were saved but we all suffered great losses. The surviving kremilings, some of them became nomads while others became pirates after losing their home to Belmont. Reina became the new queen of kongs, however not every kong had accepted her as the new ruler. She needed to focus on her people and make them trust her, she couldn’t share her focus on the other nations, so she had to sever ties from the rest of the nations. The Mushroom kingdom lost more than half of its population in this war and many young toads became war orphans. Young teen toads were forced to quickly mature themselves for the sake of the young ones. The same can be said to the penguin clan. And the Koopa? I died three days later after the event. I made Kamek in charge of the tribe until my son became old enough to be the next king.”

Luigi couldn't say anything. He was horrified by watching the events of the past. Everyone suffered by the actions of a single alpha man. A pathetic one in his honest opinion. Luigi had tears in his eyes while asking what happened to the amphora. Durga answered that Kamek hid the amphora in a chamber under a pyramid in Desert Land, hoping no one can ever release the demon again. They couldn’t allow Luke’s sacrifice to be in vain.

“Because of his evil infecting our lands, no omega was born 500 years after my death. I was to blame for all this; if I had killed that man on the spot, none of this would have happened and Bowser would have grown up with his parents, teaching right and wrong, to be a kinder king; he wouldn’t have become the warlord that he is today. If I had killed that man, Luke wouldn't have sacrificed himself for us, he would have lived his life, traveling around and being able to choose what he wanted to become. If I had killed that man, the kremilings wouldn't have lost their home land. I was responsible for all this great disaster in the realm.” Says Durga in a very melancholic voice.

“You couldn't have known.” says Luigi, trying to comfort the former queen.

“I could have. I can see the future but I wasn’t able to control this gift on my own.” the former queen said. “On my deathbed, I had a vision; I saw you with my son ,Bowser. I knew you were a human and I used the last of my magic to transport my spirit to your era. I wanted to see what kind of omega you would be. I tried to guide you to be a kind and gentle omega the best I could without anyone getting suspicious. To you, I was just your childhood imaginary friend.”

The two of them were quiet for a few moments. Luigi asked if she did all of this to make sure he was the one for her son. Durga said she really wished for Luigi to be her successor, to be the next omega mother, but the decision would still be his, only his and none else. Luigi asked why none had mentioned Luke to him. The queen sighed, answering that she had ordered Kamek to erase Luke from everybody’s memory. She mentioned she couldn’t risk any of the kingdoms going to the human world and face the Belmont clan in retaliation for what happened. A corrupted Belmont almost destroyed them but another Belmont, a young child who barely had any training, had saved them all. She didn't need her future vision to see what a disaster would ensue if any of the kingdoms dared to attack the Belmont clan, fighting against fully trained demon hunters. With a lot of pain, she tought it was the best for everybody to forget about Luke.  Kamek was the only one alive who still had Luke in his memory.

“I hope by showing our history I was able to clarify things to you, Luigi,” said Durga to Luigi “Remember, the decision is yours, only yours. No one will force you to do anything you don’t want to.”

Luigi nodded. He thanked her for showing their history. Then, everything  around them started to disappear, including Durga herself. Durga smiled one last time before Luigi woke up from his sleep.

 Then, Luigi found himself back in his bedchamber in Bowser’s castle. He moved to a sitting position and he hugged his legs while supporting his head on his knees, thinking about all the events.

He didn’t trust Bower but from what Durga had told him, he was this way because he didn’t have his parents around to teach him and he didn’t have an omega to cool his hot head off either. And since his arrival in this strange, since they found out he was an omega he was treated like he was a deity; he kinda liked this type of treatment. And the koopa really treated their omegas well, very different from his word. But would they still like him once they learn what he did? He remembered Durga telling him that her tribe would never ever hurt him, much less hating him. They would mostly likely to hunt down Spike and torture him once they learn what he did to him in the past; the happiness of an omega was above all.

Luigi took a deep breath and he got up from the bed. He took a small bell from the table and rang it. Immediately his maids in waiting  appeared in his room.

“Yes, divine omega?” said the twins at the same time, bowing to him.

“Girls, I would like you to take me to King Bowser. I already came up with my decision.”

Luigi was writing on the table while Celica and Lucina kept watching him on the other side of the room. When he finished it, he folded the letter and put it in an envelope, sealing it with wax. He got up and gave the envelope to Celica.

“I am counting on you, Celica.” Luigi says to Celica.

“I will not disappoint you, divine one.” said Celica. “I will deliver your letter to your brother.”

She bowed to him and out of nowhere she took a stick with a heart shaped gem. With a quick movement, a glow covered her body, and when the glow dissolved, she was wearing a very weird outfit that reminded Luigi of an outfit a magical girl would use. And another movement, she teleported away. Luigi was dumbstruck.

“Is Celica a magical girl?” Luigi really should get used to the weirdness of that word. 

“Magical girl? Oh, you mean a mage, right? Yes she is. But I often ask myself why she uses that ridiculous outfit whenever she uses her magic stick. I don’t think we've mentioned this to you, divine one, but  we’re Master Kamek’s apprentices. This is the reason why we were selected to be your maids in waiting.” Said Lucina. “Celi’s strongest point is magic while my strongest point is brute force. I use my warhammer to crush my enemies.”

Lucina showed Luigi her giant warhammer with pride. The weapon was double the size of the she-koopa’s size. Where did that giant weapon come from? Luigi was very confused and even wondered how strong she really was for holding a heavy weapon like it was nothing. The male omega was quiet for a moment  before taking a deep breath and asked Lucina to take him to Bowser, since he finally came to his decision.

“Of course divine one.” Says Lucina while putting her weapon away. “The king must be in the music room. I will take you there.”

The young she-koopa accompanies Luigi to Bowser's meeting. When they get to the music room, they see King Bowser playing piano and singing.

Luigi and Lucina were both dumbstruck by watching the koopa king’s performance. While the king was showing to be a great musician, his obsession for Princess Peach was kinda concerning and very creepy ( Luigi knew about Princess Peach thanks to Celica and Lucina for filling him up about the other kingdoms). 

“Don’t leave me.” Whispered Luigi to Lucina, in despair. He really didn't feel safe with Bowser showing obsession for the princess of Mushroom Kingdom.

“I’m not going anywhere, divine one.” Lucina whispered back.

No sane being would leave the most important person for the koopa tribe alone with a King who had, not only anger problems but showing signs of a sick obsession.

Lucina was trying to gain courage to get Bowser's attention, but luckily her master had also entered the room, seeing the whole situation. Luigi and Lucina looked at Kamek and the wizard sighed; he knew what to do.    

“ Eeer Sir?” 

He interrupted the king’s performance.

Bowser’s fingers stumble on the black key, ruining the melody. He turned around and saw Luigi, Lucina Kamek there. He blushed embarrassed.

“Oh Luigi. Sorry about that, it was just a silly song I was writing. Please, don’t mind me, hehehe!” Says Bowser scratching the back of his head, embarrassed. 

“It was more like an obsession,” Both Luigi and Lucina thought at the same time. Of course, no one said that out loud for their own sakes.

“So, what brings you here?” says Bowser while approaching them.

“Well…” started Luigi, nervously. “After thinking a lot, I came with my decision: I will be your omega mother.”

Everybody was shocked. They didn’t expect Luigi to make this decision so soon. Lucina and Kamek were in tears while Bowser looked at him in surprise, speechless.

“Really?!” Bower shouted in surprise. “Thank you so much!!” He was about to hug him when Luigi stepped away, showing him a sign to stop.

“But first, I want you guys to follow some of my requirements, if you don't mind.” the greenet says, nervously.

“Requirements? Oh sure! Of course, anything for our omega mother!”  Bowser quickly nodded, remembering Kamek had warned him of the possibility of Luigi coming with some requirements and he did. The king asked what his requirements were. He folded his arms as a way to control himself.

“Firstly- After having your egg, I want to be human again.” says Luigi to them.

Bowser nodded; they did say Luigi could turn back once they had the egg. Kamek asked Luigi to proceed.

“Secondly- Before we have any sexual interaction, I want to get to know you better first. I don’t want us to be totally strangers before having your egg. I don’t want to feel like I'm being used as your baby factory.”

Once again Bowser nodded: this requirement was a very reasonable one. The human decided to be their omega mother after all. They needed to know him better, not only for the future heir’s sake, but to make sure to make their new omega mother happy with them.

“Thirdly- I want freedom to see my brother whenever I want.”

Ok, he didn’t expect to hear that. Lucina and Kamek looked in concern at the king’s face. Bowser was known not to like to share the things he loved to anyone. Once he roasted a poor goomba for playing his piano without his permission. Bowser was making many faces. Kamek was praying to Durga for Browser to not mess up.

After what seemed an eternity, Bowser finally spoke. “Suuuuuuuuuuuuure?”

It was a very painful sure, but at least the king agreed with Luigi’s requirements. Lucina and Kamek sighed in relief. Luigi asked where The Valley of Transformation was. Kamek said the valley was on an island in the sky. 

“The island itself is magical and it only appears on the night of full moon in random aerial spaces. Luckily for us, I've already studied the stars and I already know where the island will appear.” The wizard said “We can leave tonight for the journey.”

“That soon?” Luigi asked, surprise.

“The full moon will be in the next three nights. You know, you could use this time to get to know our king in our flying ship. With less people around, the better the situation will be, don’t you agree, Divine Omega?”

Luigi has to agree with this one; with less koopas around the better for him. He just asks the wizard to wait until Celica returns from her mission, which she will not take long. Kamek agrees since they need time to fix the ship before they can embark anyway. Luigi is happy to hear this.

“Thank you so much. I will return my bedchambers and wait for Celica. Tell me when the ship is fixed.”

With that, Lucina and Luigi left the music room. With them alone, Kamek mentioned he was very proud Bowser was able to control himself. Bowser admitted it was hard. He really didn’t like Luigi’s third Requirement.

“Sir, if you want this to work out for us all, you need to control yourself. Your performance with your song about Princess Peach was very embarrassing and almost made us lose everything. You need to focus on our omega mother instead of that beta princess” says Kamek, scolding Bowser.

It is rare for Kamek to scold Bower, but when he does, it was for the sake of the tribe. They need to work for the male omega to fully trust them. Bowser sighs, knowing Kamek is right, he really needs to focus on Luigi at the moment, for the sake of the tribe.

“By the way, who’s Celica?” The king asks, confused.

Kamek groans; he really wants to facepalm for this question. He really does; Bowser often forgets he has apprentices and these same apprentices are Luigi’s maids in waiting.

At the Kong village, Mario laid on his bed, very tired. His body hurt a lot. Facing Donkey Kong was not an easy task. The gorilla was very strong and he was pretty sure he got one or two broken ribs. He was very thankful for the cat suit - without that cat suit, he might have lost the fight.

"It was worth it. I was for Luigi's sake."  Mario thought of his brother. They never were apart from each other this long.

Mario was worried, even if Toad and Princess Peach had told him Luigi might be safe in the koopa for being an omega, even so that didn’t make Mario less worried.

"Are you Mario, the Divine Omega's brother?"

Mario's eyes widened in shock and he quickly got up from the bed. He saw there was a female koopa, wearing a magical girl costume in his room.

"Who the hell are you? And how did you get through the kongs?" Mario frowned, demanding for answers.

"Through magic. Don’t you see I am wearing a mage outfit?” Mario didn’t see a mage outfit. Only a magical girl outfit. Where did she get that suit anyways? “And don't even try to cry for help, I've casted a spell in this room. No one will hear us. I am Celica, I am one of the divine omega’s maids in waiting." Said Celica, introducing herself to Mario.

"Divine omega? You mean Luigi, right? Is he alright? You didn't hurt him, did you?" Mario demanded for answers. He really hoped Luigi was alright and safe.

"We don't hurt omegas. We protect them, we will do anything for them, even if it means to  sacrifice our lives to keep them safe.." Says Celica, growing at him.

Mario was speechless; so, it was true that the koopa see omegas as divine figures. Celica commented she had a letter from his brother. Mario took the envelope from her and recognized Luigi’s handwriting on it; it was really his brother's handwriting. 

"Can I ask something?” Asks Celica, getting Mario’s attention, “Did anyone hurt the divine one?" 

Mario looked at the she-koopa in confusion. What? Celica commented Luigi had briefly mentioned an alpha had hurt him before but he didn’t say any more details. Her sister and herself were worried about him. Mario knew what she meant. 

"Yes. An alpha hurt him and hurt him very badly.” Says Mario while looking at the envelope. Then, he looked at Celica. "But this is not my story to tell."

If Mario wasn't the divine omega’s brother, Celica would have used her magic to get answers from him. But she understood it was a very sensitive subject. Mario asked her if Bowser wouldn't hurt Luigi. Celica told him her king may have some flaws (a lot of flaws), but he would never hurt an omega. Before Mario could ask for more questions, Celica teleported away, leaving Mario alone in his room.

Mario looked at the envelope before opening it. He unfolded the letter and started reading it.

Dear brother, if you’re reading this, it means Celica managed to deliver my letter to you. I'm alright, for now. The koopa were not that bad. They just have a complicated king, unfortunately.

Anyway, the thing is, the koopa rarely have omegas in their tribe, and usually it’s single one presents every 300 years, however because of human actions, a tragedy struck in this world. That's right, we were not the first humans to end up here, the first ones arrived here 500 years ago; a father and a son. The father was a very abusive alpha man and he transformed into a giant monster and corrupted the Koopa Lands while his son, an omega, sacrificed his life to save this world, sealing his corrupted father away. However the damage was already done to the Koopa Lands, turning once beautiful lands into the Dark Lands. Because of this alpha’s actions, no omega was born in 500 years and that made King Bowser the way he is now; a conquer warlord. 

After thinking a lot, I decided to be their omega. Don’t worry, no one forced me to be one; I decided on my own. My spirit guardian believes I can change King Bowser’s heart, and I believe I will. The other reason why I decided to be their omega is because before meeting the koopa, I never felt so welcome in my life for being a male omega. They didn’t treat me like a freak and I admit I liked the positive treatment they’re giving me. They show more respect for omegas than most people from our world. Man, I didn’t even feel this welcome with our own family ever since I was presented as an omega. You know very well our family will disown me once they find out what I did, just like how they did to our cousin, Graziella, and they will disown you as well for just helping me instead of stopping my decision.

Please, respect my decision for choosing the koopa. Try to not cause trouble in my absence. I love you my brother.

PS: Samus Aran looks better with green hair than with blond hair.

Mario had tears rolling down, calling Luigi a fool as he fell on his knees. Toad entered the room, calling for Mario and telling  the dinner was ready. He saw his friend was crying.

“Mario? What’s wrong?” Toad asks in concern.

Mario didn’t say anything, just dandled the letter to Toad. Toad took it and he frowned while reading it.

“Oh…” that was all Toad could say.

Mario didn’t say anything, only kept crying. Toad had no idea what to do. He only placed his hand on Mario’s shoulder as a way to confront him.  Even without using any words, Mario was thankingful for his Toad friend to be there for him.

Back at Bowser's castle, the flying ship was ready. Luigi, Kamek, Lucina, Celica, Bowser and some koopas embarked on the ship.

“Let's go to the Valley of Transformation!” shouted Bowser appointing to the horizon.

The koopa crew saluted as they prepared to take off. It was the time of their journey.

At the King Village,in Mario's guest room, Peach was reading Luigi’s letter. She was astonished at what she was reading. She even asked Mario if it was really Luigi who wrote this letter. Mario confirmed the letter was real; the reason why he knew it was because Luigi used their safe password. Toad and Peach looked at him confused; password?

“You see, when Luigi was presented as an omega, many people, especially dickless alpha men, wanted to take advantage of him, pretending to be either my friends or pretending to be a family member. To save ourselves from a lot of headaches, Luigi and I came up with a safe password. If someone approaches him and they say they’re my friends or a family member, Luigi asks ‘what hair color does Samus Aran look best?’ The correct answer is ‘Samus Aran looks better with green hair than with blond hair' . Luigi knew we would distrust the letter, this is why he put our safe password on it; to make sure I don’t believe it’s a fake letter.”

“And who’s Samus Aran, if I may ask?” Peach asks, curious.

“Samus is just a fictional character from our world.” Mario wasn’t sure if the concept of video games existed in that world. To avoid unnecessary explication, he just went to Samus being a fictional character, which it was still true. “Many people often forget or don’t know that Samus had green hair in her first design. After some time, her official hair color became blond, but we used this knowledge to make it our safe password.”

Peach nodded, there were so many things she wanted to ask about Mario’s world, but at the moment, none of this was important. She read the letter once more and she was confused. Peach told Mario that his brother, Luigi, was mentioning the events of the Great Calamity. Mario, frowned, looking at Peach in confusion, the great what?

“The Great Calamity.” Peach repeats. “From what I’ve studied in the royal library, the Great Calamity was a giant monster who almost destroyed the world. All the kingdoms, including the koopas and the kongs, fought bravely together against the monster but most of them had perished. Queen Durga- a former koopa queen, defeated the monster before dying. However, I don’t remember reading humans being involved in this anywhere in our history books.”

Mario was confused as well. Could the koopa were lying to Luigi to make him their omega at his own will? Toad commented maybe someone could have misled at writing the event? Mario and Peach looked at Toad, curious. Toad told them that he learned from his grandpa to never fully trust in history books because they were always written by winners.

“Then, why not ask someone who lived through the event?” A voice asked

They turned around and they saw Donkey Kong at the doorway. Mario Frowned, telling him they had no time for his jokes. But for the first time they met, Donkey Kong was looking very serious.

“No, I’m serious this time. I know someone who lived through the events of the Great Calamity.”

“Kong, no one can live for five hundred years.” Said Mario, crossing his arms. Then, he paused and looked at Peach and Toad. “Or can they?”

“Well, Bowser is a five hundred year old guy but he was either a baby or an egg when the Great Calamity happened. I don’t think he knows anything.” Commented Toad.

“I never mentioned she was alive.” Donkey Kong comments, getting everyone’s attention. “Would you like to meet a ghost of one of our past monarchs?”

At the flying warship, Bowser and Luigi started to know each other. Each day, they played a game of one question; once a day, they were allowed to ask only one question to each other. Luigi showed the types of songs he liked through his cellphone ( by some miracle the cellphone was still working) when Bowser asked what kind of music he liked; the koopa king liked listening to rock and jazz music from Luigi’s gadget. Luigi was surprised to know Bowser liked reading books, especially adventure ones when he asked if he read books. Luigi commented to Bowser he would love to show him a book series he loved to read.

Luigi also taught the koopa how to cook pizza in italian style. Needless to day everyone enjoyed the food Luigi had prepared for them. Even the chief asked Luigi to teach him more recipes. Luigi gladly accepted his request.

Luigi also learned Bowser was a good father figure for the orphan koopalings. He adopted them all and taught them until adulthood, but always being by their side until the end. Bowser admitted sometimes he wished to not have the immortality spell casted on him, so it wouldn't be so painful seeing his children dying from old age while he still lived.

On the third day of their journey, Luigi and Bowser finally decided to ask a more serious question. Luigi was the first to ask.

“Why do you like Princess Peach so much?” He asks

Bowser was expecting this question, especially after that embarrassing moment when he was playing his song for Princess Peach.

“You see, Kamek casted the spell of immortality on us, we wanted to live long enough for us to meet an omega and continue the royal bloodline. But no omega was born and after three hundred years from the events of the Great Calamity and two hundred years after I became the king. I just gave up; I was tired waiting for an omega koopa to be born and to be my mate. When Princess Peach appeared, I was spying on her and her kingdom; I wanted to see what kind of creature she was. To my surprise, she had good motherly instincts. And I thought, ‘hey, maybe she could be a good mother to the orphaned koopalings. I think this is where I started with my…. passion for her.” Bowser avoided using the word obsession. 

Luigi was surprised; he thought his obsession for the princess was because she was beautiful and he thought he was entitled to take her at whatever cost. Though his obsession was a problem, the reason behind it was reasonable. Bowser told him that he loved Kamek and he saw him as his real parent. He trusted him with his life but sometimes he wished to know what a mother 's love looked like.

“I guess that’s it. I hope my reason didn’t sound so stupid or silly.”

Luigi tells Bowser his reason to like Princess Peach was not silly or stupid. Everyone who was an orphan, at one point, wanted to know and feel what a mother’s love was like. Only his actions were wrong. Bowser couldn't help but smiling at Luigi; he really understood him. Then, it was Bowser’s turn to ask a question.

“You don’t have to answer this, but who hurt you?” asks Bowser in a very serious tone in his voice. “One of your maids had confirmed to me that an alpha had hurt you real bad.”

Luigi was shocked Bowser knew something about his past. Of course he knew, he had mentioned an alpha had hurt him in the past to his maids. He knew his maids would tell King Bowser about it. Then, he could hear Durga’s voice in his mind; she was encouraging him to tell him what happened to him and none in her tribe would hate him if he told them the truth. Luigi was shivering; the koopa had been nothing but gentle to him and he saw how they had been with Luke through Durga’s memories. So, after thinking a bit, he decided to tell them the truth.

“Yes, I was hurt,” He whispered. “His name is Foreman Spike. He was my former boss.”

Luigi was fighting against the tears coming out from his eyes. Bowser held his hand, telling him he didn’t need to tell anything right now if he was feeling uncomfortable. Luigi shook his head, telling Boswer he needed to tell everything..

Luigi started his tale. He told Bowser that his family was poor and his father had injured his leg badly, forcing him to retire early. To help their parents out, Luigi and his brother, Mario, decided to get a job as soon as they graduate from high school. Their first job was in a construction site called Wrecking Crew and Spike was the boss.

“At first he was nice. He taught my brother and I things we needed to know, like how to destroy walls correctly without damaging houses and buildings and showing how pipes work for proper plumbing and other stuffs. We stayed there for a couple of years, saving money, helping to pay the bills and we learned a lot from him. I really enjoyed doing this kind of job. It made me happy and I felt so useful for my family. Then, after my 21st birthday, he started to change. He… he started to sexual harassment me. I couldn't do anything because he threatened to fire me and my brother and warned me he would make sure we wouldn't get another job anywhere if I told anyone about his harassments.” 

Bowser was quiet but inside he was roaring in a blazing fury. How dare this Foreman Spike treat Luigi like that? And Luigi wasn’t over; he knew the worst was yet to come.

“One day my father had a stroke. We rushed him to the hospital and he needed an urgent surgery. Our health plan only covered half of the fees. We needed a lot of money and fast. So, Spike came to me in secret and he proposed to me a deal; he would give me the money to save my father, in exchange, I would have to sleep with him.”

Bowser’s eyes widened in horror; Kamek always taught him to never, ever force an omega to do anything they didn’t want to do. Always being gentle and understanding their feelings. This spike… this alpha…he took advantage of Luigi in every opportunity he got it. This guy is a heartless monster.

“I slept with him to save my father, losing my virginity to him. But I felt so dirty after this. I couldn’t tell anyone or else my brother and I would be jobless; we needed this job. However, two months later I found out I was pregnant. I was in despair, I had no idea what to do. Mario only found out I was pregnant because he found my pregnancy test in my trashcan by accident. Needless to say he was enraged, he wanted to kill Spike.” Bowser didn’t say anything but he would gladly help Mario to kill this Spike.  Luigi took a few breaths to calm himself down, before continuing his story. “At first I wanted to give the child up for adoption, but knowing my family, I’m pretty sure they would force me to keep it, just like how they tried to do with my cousin, Graziella.”

“Graziella?” Bowser asks, confused.

“Graziella is my cousin and she’s a beta. You see, she was raped and she got pregnant from her rapist. My family tried to force her to keep the baby. But she didn’t listen to any of them, and she went to a clinic to get an abortion. She was disowned right after this. My brother and I kept in touch with her in secret and it was very fortunate we did that; she helped us a lot for me to get an abortion, she knew the right clinic and people we could trust. Mario was by my side the whole time and we stayed at my cousin's house for some time, until I was well enough to go back home. No one in our family knows that I did this, if they do, they would most likely disown me for the abortion and disown Mario for helping me, instead stopping me. Mario and I quit from our job with Spike and we used almost all our savings to open our own plumbing business. And that’s my story."

Luigi looked at Bouser once more. Bowser didn’t show any emotion on his face. The youngest of Mario Bros asked Bowser if he hated him for having an abortion. Bowser got up from his chair and he gently hugged Luigi. Luigi was surprised by his action.

“We would never hate our omegas. You just had very bad luck for meeting a terrible alpha and for having a family who couldn’t understand you or care about your wishes. You did what you did for your own sake. I am sorry that you had to go through all this. No one deserves it. But here with us, you’re safe. Cry Luigi. Cry everything out from your heart. I will be here to be your rock.”

Tears rolled down from Luigi’s eyes. He started to cry and sobbing on Bowser’s chest while hugging him back. Bowser now knew why his smell was so sad; it was because of a shitty alpha that made Luigi so small, feeling useless. He promised himself he would make Spike pay for the crimes did against Luigi. He would make sure Spike would regret messing with Luigi.

Back at the Jungle Kingdom, Donkey Kong was leading Mario, Peach and Toad to the heart of the jungle. There they saw a tombstone under the tree. Donkey Kong took a deep breath and shouted.

"HELLO QUEEN REINA!! I AM BACK!!” Shouted Donkey Kong.

Mario, Peach and Toad covered their ears from the kong’s loud voice. Then, the earth started to quake. Then, a white mist started coming out from the tombstone. Then, they saw a ghost of a huge female kong and she didn’t look happy.

“How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t like you visiting me, foolish child?” She asks, coldly.

“Many times, but we all know you love me, Queen Reina.” Said Donkey Kong happily smiled at her.

The ghost queen only glared at Donkey Kong with a very deadly and cold glare that would make even an army of koopa freeze in place. That glare was enough to send chills to Mario, Peach and Toad’s spines. Reina finally noticed the presence of the guesses.

“I see you brought more visitors, and two humans, no less. I have to say, foolish child, You’ve impressed me.”

Donkey Kong was happy hearing this. Reina introduced herself as a former alpha queen of kongs. Peach was impressed; she never knew the kongs had a ruler queen before, much less an female alpha one.

"Oh, that's because this foolish child's ancestor killed me while I was sleeping and took the throne for himself, erasing me from history." Said Reina, smiling to them.

The temperature just dropped to glacial levels when she said that. They all stared at Donkey Kong who cringed at this declaration. Yep, he knew this fact because Reina already had dropped the bomb on him when they first met.

"And of course, I never got my soul to rest in peace. I am stuck here thanks to the grudge I have held for his family for generations." Is it them or is the temperature getting any colder? And Reina has not done it yet. "I only tolerate this foolish child because, to my surprise, he's an omega. "

Now they all had their jaws dropped in shock: Donkey Kong was an omega? No one had any idea about this. Donkey Kong looked more like a stereotype of an alpha than an omega. He being an omega really surprised them all. Donkey Kong didn’t look happy.

“So what if am I an omega? Can’t omegas be tall or have big muscles?” He humped, outraged, while showing off his muscles to them.

“No no no, not that.” said Mario quickly. “I think you look awesome the way you are.”

Donkey Kong looked at him in shock, was he serious?

“You see, if you were a human from my world, you would be a celebrity. Of course you would attract a lot of haters’ attention, but you also would be the inspiration to so many omega kids.You would be the hero that they needed. We don’t have anyone like you back home.” Said Mario, smiling.

Donkey Kong blushed, he was really serious. His father kept telling him no alpha would be interested in him because he was not attractive and he was too much alpha to anyone’s taste. And here was Mario, a small alpha saying he looked awesome the way he was, telling him he would be a hero to many omega kids. He wanted to cry at that moment, but he didn’t do it because he wanted to keep his tough face.

“Lady Reina, we’re here to confirm something; five hundred years ago two humans arrived in this world. Is it true? I read everything about the events of the Great Calamity but don't remember reading about humans being involved anywhere.” Peach said to the former queen.

 The former queen nodded to her. 

“Yes, it 's true. You two are not the first humans to arrive in this world. Five hundred years ago two humans, a father and a son, arrived here. However the father was an evil man, he abused his son because he was a male omega. He turned into a giant monster which we called the Great Calamity.” Said Reina, remembering everything that happened from the events that led to the birth of the Great Calamity. “His son, Luke Belmont, had sacrificed his life to save us all. The reason why they aren’t mentioned in our history books is because Durga, before dying, asked Kamek to erase Luke and his father from everybody’s memories. I still remember them because I asked Kamek to not erase my memory because Luke deserves to be remembered as the hero he was.  Kamek allowed me to remember Luke and the Great Calamity because he trusted me I wouldn't do anything stupid after the war. Durga was afraid the people from this world would go to the human world and go after the Belmont family for revenge. From what Luke told us, the Belmont family were a family of demon hunters. You don’t need to be a psych to see the chaos this would bring if anyone dared to go after them. I had to agree with Durga on this one, erasing them from everyone’s memory was the right course of action, especially with all the kingdoms being unstable after the war.”

Mario sighed sadly, so the koopa was telling Luigi the truth. Peach asked what really happened to the Great Calamity. Reina answered Luke sacrificed his life to seal his father away into an amphora. Kamek and her hid the amphora underneath in a pyramid from Desert Land. Toad paled and asked which pyramid.

Everybody looked confused. Reina answered it was the Dark Pyramid and she asked why he asked this. Toad shivered and started to tell them, before meeting Mario, he was in an explorers group, but his colleagues were jerks, almost killing him several times and they never took warnings seriously from the dungeons they went to. Toad had enough of them and decided to go on his own adventures by himself, away from his narcissist duo colleagues who almost killed him for their greedy desires. And before they parted their ways, they mentioned that they were going to the Dark Pyramid to find secret treasures. 

“Toad, they wouldn't open the amphora, would they?” asked Mario, nervously.

“Yes, they would! Even with a warning right on the faces saying ‘Great Calamity sealed, do not open it!’ ”

This was not good. Not good at all. Reina released a very killing intense aura. She ordered the group to go to the Dark Pyramid and stop those fools from even reaching the chamber where the amphora was sealed. 

“Kill them if it's necessary. The Great Calamity can’t be released again!”

Chapter Text

Mario, Peach, Toad and Donkey Kong were riding on their respective karts while crossing the rainbow road. After hearing the possibility of the Great Calamity to be set free by two fools, the ghost of queen Reina ordered them to stop them whatever it takes. Princess Peach was quiet the whole way.

"Do you want to share your thoughts, princess?" Mario asks Peach in concern.

"I don't understand why those toads would put the world in danger just because they wanted treasures." She quietly said.

Mario could understand her point of view. The toads adopted and raised her as one of their own until she was old enough to be crowned as their princess. Hearing two toads almost killing their Toad and putting the world in danger was something she didn't expect to see her people doing.

"Well princess, I will say the same thing that my nonna told me once; not all people are good. You were lucky for being adopted by a group of good toads, but not everyone can be good. There are always going to be individuals who are jerks and heartless."

Peach nodded, telling Mario he was right. She couldn’t expect all toads to be kind and good. Mario asked Donkey Kong how long it would take until they arrived in Desert land. Donkey Kong answered not very long, after the next left turn, they would arrive in Desert land in an instant. They all hoped to arrive on time to stop Toad’s former crewmates to release the Great Calamity.

“Queen Reina said she set deadly traps along with Kamek to make sure none would be foolish enough to try to reach the chamber where the amphora is. Knowing my former crewmates, I bet they already have substituted me with an unfortunate soul to be their victim to activate the traps for them to cross safely. We might not have much time left.” Said Toad to them.

With that, they speeded up.

Somewhere in the night sky, Luigi was on the deck while looking at the stars and the full moon. Bowser was looking at Luigi in the distance with Kamek, Lucina and Celica by their side. Bowser told them what happened to their divine omega. Kamek was not surprised by this revelation: Luke had told him the human world was cruel to omegas, even after five hundred years it looked like the human world was still cruel to them. The twin she-koopas asked Bowser permission to go to Luigi’s world to kill this Spike guy.

“As much as I would love to see you girls murdering Spike, let's focus on Luigi’s mental health first.” Kamek looked at his king in surprise and with pride at the same time; it was the first time he cared for someone else first. “Don’t worry, we will take care of this Spike soon. We will not leave him unpunished for his crimes.”

They all nodded in agreement. They will focus on Luigi first and then focus on Spike for their omega to get the justice he deserved.

“Bowser? Guys? I think you should get here.” Luigi called them

They all went on the deck and they all gasped when a floating island appeared in the front of the ship out of nowhere. Kamek confirmed it was the Selene Island, the island where the Valley of Transformation was.

They landed the ship on the island. Bowser ordered the crew to stay on the ship while Kamek, Celica, Lucina, Luigi and him would get off the ship and go to the Valley. The crew saluted their king, wishing for a safe journey.

When Luigi set his foot on the island he felt something odd. He couldn't explain but somehow he was feeling the island’s energy. Kamek mentioned to him there was a possibility he could be a magic sensitive. He asked if there was time Luigi felt something odd while he was in his world.

“Now that you mentioned it, sometimes I felt something strange in certain places. In my house I swear sometimes I could see the ghost of my dead dog. And at my nonna’s house, I swear I saw a purple flaming cat with two tails once. And whenever I was in lab class, sometimes I could swear I could see my lab teacher being surrounded by angry ghost frogs, telling him they couldn’t wait to dissect him in hell. No one believed me that I could see those things, not even my family; my mamma and Mario kept telling me it was stress that was making me seeing those things and my father even accused me of doing drugs once, blaming Mario for it.”

Kamek looked at Luigi in surprise, telling him he was, indeed, a magic sensitive. And to shaman magic type.  Luigi looked at him confused, what? Kamek explained shaman mages were rare but all were powerful individual beings dealing with spirits, ghosts and other types of supernatural creatures. Queen Durga was one of those mages and the strongest one from her time.

“Dealing with spirits and ghosts is not an easy task. Queen Durga and the shamans from her time were powerful and they were the ones who made sure the boos, at least the destructive ones, to not cause havoc around the world.” Kamek said, smiling remembering his queen and teacher.

Luigi remembered from Durga memories the boos found a loophole when they made a deal with Belmont, turning him into that giant powerful monster that the Durga and everyone else couldn't handle.

After walking for some time, they finally arrived at the Valley of Transformation. Luigi was amazed by the view; a huge lake reflecting the full moon and stars. It was like the night sky  itself went down to earth.

“Wow" that's all Luigi could say.

"I thought you said there were some springs, not a huge lake." Bowser comments to Kamek.

Kamek took a book out of nowhere.

"Hum…I might have misread the information somewhere, sir. This is my first time here in Selene Island." Said Kamek while reading his book, "Well, according to this book, we must be received by the guardian of the island any time now."

Guardian? It was everyone’s thought. Then, they saw a huge shadow flying above them. Then a huge silver feathered winged snake landed before. Luigi was paralyzed by fear, he has a bad phobia of snakes. He was so frightened he hid behind Bowser.

"My apologies, I saw in my visions one of you would be afraid of my appearance."  Said the snake.

Then the winged snake starts to glow and slowly shrinks the body down to human size. The glow fades, revealing a human that looked like an elf with long silver hair, silver eyes, using a long dark blue robe and moon crescent earrings in his ears.

"I think this apparently is less frightening, right?" Said the guardian smiling. “I am Oracle, the guardian of Selene Island. Welcome to the Valley of Transformation.”

Luigi moved away from his hiding place to see the guardian. He looked very familiar to him. Wait a sec…!

"Hello,I am Luigi. These are Bowser, Kamek, Celica and Lucina. By the way, why do you look like Link?"

The koopa looked very confused; who was Link? Luigi explained Link was a character from the book series Legend Of Zelda. Each book had a story with different versions of Link and Zelda in different timeliness. The guardian could not help but chuckle at this information. 

"Oh, you mean the Hyrule's champion? He was here sometime ago when the island appeared in Hyrule. He used the Valley of Transformation to become a divine beast to save his world from the fell dragon Ganon. He will be back here once the island is back to Hyrule realm. I just borrowed his look because it was the closest look I had of your kind, Luigi." Said the guardian.

Luigi’s saw dropped from shock; Hyrule is real? Link is real? And most important… did he just get a spoiler for the next book?! Luigi was in the clouds, he couldn't believe it he just got a spoiler for the next book of his favorite book series! The koopas were pretty confused why Luigi was reacting to that but Bowser thought Luigi was acting cute like that; it was better than being depressed for what happened to him.

“So… guardian, how does it work?” Said Kamek, getting the guardian’s attention. “Do we have to face a challenge, a trial or anything? I mean, we must do something for Luigi to bathe into the waters of the lake.”

“Oh, you don’t need to do anything at all.” the guardian said, smiling, while appointing to the magical lake. “You’re free to use the Lake of Transformation.”

They all look at him, confused; it can’t be this easy, can it? Luigi even asks him what the catch is. The guardian looks at them a bit offended and very annoyed.

“Why do you people think there’s always a challenge, a trial or some stupid thing for you to get an approval to use the lake? My approval should be more than enough. Even Hyrule’s champion was kinda shocked when I told him there was no challenge, not even a dungeon for him to go through. Do you believe he even dared asking me if I was the monster boss to be defeated? That poor guy must have had a lot of trauma to think like this.” Said the guardian, very annoyed.

“You have no idea.” Thought Luigi, remembering all the books he had from the Legend of Zelda book series. The Link from Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess had the worst of traumas.

The guardian looked at the group once more and he noticed some individuals were missing. He asked where the kong and the human child were. The group frowned, looking very confused; what was he talking about? Bowser said only Luigi was there for the Lake of Transformation. The guardian shook his head.

“My name is not Oracle for nothing, King Bowser. As is the meaning of my name, I have abilities to see the past, present and future through the strings of time.” He said as he felt the strings of time around him. “And in my vision, I saw Luigi along with a kong and a human child bathing in the Lake of Transformation. Three omegas bathing the lake for them to become something else.” Then, Oracle paused; Wait a sec...“What day is today?” 

Luigi and the koopa looked confused; why was he so nervous? Luigi took his cellphone and said it was APril xx of 20xx. The guardian started to sweat cold. He turned around and  quickly started to check on the strings of time (which no one could see,) and he started to shiver. “Ah crap!”

“Err... Guardian? What’s wrong? “ Luigi asked. He did not like the way the guardian was reacting.

Oracle turned around and he looked a bit nervous, saying the vision he had just described was supposed to happen two months from now and not that night. He badly miscalculated the things. The guardian told them they really should go to the Desert Land, like immediately. Bowser was really losing his patience; he was breathing fire, shouting and asking the guardian why they needed to go there in such urgency.

“Because the Great Calamity is about to be unleashed by two very stupid and greedy toads.” Oracle said, smiling nervously.

A pause…..then a reaction

“WHAT?!” They all yelled.

Inside of the Dark Pyramid, Two toads, one with a black mushroom with white spots on his head while the other one had a purple mushroom white pink spots on his head. They both were smirking while crossing the activated trap, leaving a corpse of a fallen toad behind.

“Hei Noir, do you miss our old crewmate, Red Dot ?”  asked the purple toad.

“Sometimes Poison, sometimes. At least he wouldn’t have died in such a pathetic way like this one.” the black Toad smirked.

The poor unfortunate toad  was crushed to death by a Thwomp, nothing left of his body, only blood and  a mass of meat. They were happy to see the traps were finally over. Those traps were the most deadly and difficult ones they ever faced. Whatever they were trying to protect, it must be very valuable.

At the same time Mario, Peach, Toad and Donkey Kong were going underneath the pyramid, rushing to the secret chamber where the amphora was. The princess was horrified to see dead toads, killed by the traps. How could they? They were toads, just like them. Toad told Peach  his former crewmates were always like this, using weaker toads to safely cross the traps from dungeons. Toad sometimes wondered how he was even alive today.

“According to this map that Queen Reina drew for us, the chamber is not too far,” said Donkey Kong.

They all gasped in horror when they saw the doors of the chamber were open. When they went inside, they saw the foolish toads beside the amphora, looking at it with greedy eyes.

“STOP!” Peach shouted, getting their attention. “As your princess, I order you to not touch that amphora!”

Noir and Poison were not amused, they just glared at the princess.

“Who do you think you are, stupid girl?” Noir asks, glaring at Peach “You’re not one of us. We never saw you as our princess.”

“Yeah, I don’t see why we should follow your orders.” Poison added “And why did the elders choose you to be our monarch instead of one of our own kind? You’re nothing but a strange orphan girl whom the elders took pity on.”

Peach was shocked, she thought she was loved by everyone in Mushroom Kingdom but it never crossed her mind that not all toads saw her as their princess. Toad decided to interfere.

“Are you stupid or what?!” shouted Toad angrily “Didn’t you see the warning in the doors?! Don’t open that amphora or else you guys are going to unleash the Great Calamity!!”

“Hey Red Dot,  it's been a while. We were just talking about you.” said Noir, smirking.

“The Great Calamity is just a stupid legend to scare off misbehaving children. You’re just jealous we got this cool amphora first.” said Poison

“You fools! Don’t touch that amphora!” shouted Mario.

But it was too late. To the heroes’ horror, the stupid toads touched the glowing golden chains and the chains faded away. Suddenly the lid opened itself as smoke was coming out of the amphora. The smell was horrible; it smelled something extremely rotten coming out from the amphora. The heroes stepped away as the smoke was forming a humanoid figure. When the smoke cleared away, they could see a man standing there. He was tall, with pale white skin and short black hair. He was wearing an outfit that looked like that of an aristocrat from the 15th century. However his outstanding feature was demoniac red eyes.

“Finally, fresh air,” He said, smiling. His voice was cold, sending chills down everyone's spine. Then, he looked at Mario Peach ,Toad and Donkey Kong. “Which one of you set me free?”

Chapter Text

Mario,Peach, Donkey Kong and Toad were horrified; before them was the Great Calamity, unleashed. Mario saw Donkey Kong’s face and expressed a look of distress and fear. No… not simple faer but extreme fear. His body couldn't stop shivering. Mario knew they were in deep trouble.

“Hey, who the heck are you?!” Shouted Noir, in anger. “Where is the treasure?”

The Great Calamity looked at the toad. He rapidly grabbed him by his face and lifted him, looking coldly at him. The black mushroom toad screamed as he felt his life force being sucked. Everyone gasped in pure horror as they saw the toad’s body rapidly getting thin and old. The villain dropped the body as he finished sucking his life force.  Noir’s body looked like a dry mummified toad.

“BOSS!!” Poison screamed in horror. But he was also grabbed by the face.

Peach tried to help but Mario and Toad stopped her, telling her it was too late for them. Donkey Kong said they needed to get out there and fast. Everybody made their run while the Great Calamity was busy sucking Poison’s life as well. When he finished, he dropped Poison’s body while making a disgusting face.

“Disgusting…now I remember why I detested mushrooms.” He noticed the heroes were not there anymore. He smirked. “Oh, you wanna play tag? So we will play tag.”

He unleashed gigantic dark miasma energy in the form of fog. He smirked, “I wonder…how long can you run from me?”

In the corridors, Mario, Peach, Toad and Donkey Kong kept running for their lives. They could feel the dark energy right behind them. Mario shouted to his friends to not look back and kept running forward until the exit. Toad slipped and fell to the floor. Mario noticed this, he quickly took him in his arms before the fog could touch them. Donkey Kong grabbed everyone and put them on his back while running for their lives. However, in their despair, they did not notice they had activated one of the traps. An explosive trap. The heroes were blasted out from the pyramid, falling into the sand. A dark hand was about to reach Peach but it crumbled with the first rays of the dawn sun.

“What happened?” Asked Peach, taking deep breaths to calm her heart down.

“Oh, I’ve heard from Queen Reina that the Great Calamity doesn’t like the sun. I guess we just saw the reason why.” Commented Donkey Kong, trying to recover his breathing. “We’re safe … for now.”

Then they all heard a cry of pain. They turned to Toad who was lying on the sand, in pain. His right hand was black and slowly infecting his arm. Mario didn’t think twice, he took a butcher knife from Toad’s bag and then e took Peach’s scarf from her neck. He put the scarf into Toad’s month.

“Toad, buddy, I have to cut your hand or else the infection will spread to your body. It will hurt like hell.” The plumber warned him. 

Toad didn’t want to die like his old crewmates. He nodded and he closed his eyes tightly, already expecting the pain. Mario ordered Donkey Kong to cut Toad’s hand since he was the only one who was strong enough to do it in a single swig. The king gulped but he did it anyway. Peach closed her eyes and put her hands on her ears to muffle Toad’s sound of pain. Mario used Toad’s kitchen tools and he quickly catechized the wound. Mario was thankful Toad had a first-aid kit in his bag; he used it to disinfect Toad’s wound before bandaging it.

“He’s going to be ok…” Mario whispered while sitting in the sand after all his adrenaline was gone. Toad fainted from the pain and Mario couldn't blame him.

Peach was amazed by Mario’s action. She asked who he was able to save him without using healing magic. Mario explained before his father’s early retirement, he was studying to be a doctor. He was working really hard to get a scholarship to some medical school, but after his father’s injury and being forced to retire, he was unable to do it, being forced to work early to help family. He never thought what he learned was going to be useful someday.

“I have no idea what you are talking about, but I think you were amazing. You saved your little buddy’s life.” Said Donkey Kong, giving Mario a pat on his back.

“Thanks Kong.” Mario said, giving a small smile to him. Then, he turned to the Dark Pyramid. “What are we going to do? The sun will not last forever here.”

Yeah, the Great Calamy was still trapped in the pyramid, but only for a few hours before the sun set. They had no idea what to do. Then, Mario heard a familiar voice. They all looked up and saw Luigi on a flying ship, waving to them. Mario smiled at the sight of his brother.

“Luigi!” Mario cried out in joy.

The group were teleported by magic. Mario rushed to his brother and hugged and cried on each other's shoulders. They were happy to be reunited. Then they saw the koopas on the board, Mario and Peach almost attacked them but Luigi stopped them, telling them they're not their enemies. Kamek passed through them, only staring at the Dark Pyramid, covered by dark energy.

“He’s free, isn’t he?” He asks, without looking at anyone.

“Yes.” Said Peach, with her head down. “I am sorry. We couldn’t stop two of my people from releasing him. I take all the responsibility.”

“You can’t be responsible for the foolishness of some individuals, princess. You were not the one who opened the amphora. But thanks to those idiots, not only did they put our world in danger, but they also made Luke’s sacrifice become meaningless.” 

Kamek started to sob as the memories of the first war came to his mind. He watched Luke sacrificing himself to seal his father into the amphora while he couldn’t do anything to save his queen’s life from the miasma’s poisoning.

Bowser was speechless, it was rare for Kamek to mention the events involving the Calamity War. It was a very sensitive subject for him. As far as he knew, Kamek was the only one alive from the calamity war. He looked at Peach, it was the first time he was this close to her but for some reason, he didn’t feel anything for the princess. However it was not the time to think about his selfish feelings; It was now time to act as a real king to his people.

“Peaches… I mean… Princess Peach, you have every reason to not trust me but this is bigger than our issues. We need to join forces to deal with the Great Calamity.” Said Bowser to the princess.

Peach looked at Bower, frowning at him.

“I don’t trust you Bowser, but you’re right, this is bigger than us.” Said Peach in a very serious tone in her voice. “Order your crew to take us back to Mushroom Castle. Donkey Kong, go back to the Jungle Kingdom and tell your father what happened here. We need all the kingdoms joining forces against the Great Calamity.”

Bowser nodded as he ordered his crew to take them back to the Mushroom Kingdom. Luigi put a hand on Kamek as a way to comfort him. He was very aware of what the Great Calamity was capable of. No one noticed Luigi was holding a small bottle closer to his chest.

At the Mushroom Castle, everyone was shocked that the legends of Great Calamity were real. Oh yeah, Bowser released the penguins clan, they were happy for their freedom but their happiness was soon crushed when they learned what led to Bowser freeing them.

“Come on! We’ve been hearing that lunatic star thing for weeks, making us depressed! Now you’re saying we have to deal with the Great Calamity?!” The King Penguin cried out in despair. 

Now Bower remembered why he captured that luma; he was using it as a way to torture other prisoners. Luigi looked at Bowser with reproving eyes, he was not happy at the koopa king at the moment. Bowser made a note to himself that he needed to do something to make up for Luigi.

“Kamek, you’re the only one here among us that faced the Great Calamity when he first attacked. How did you deal with him at that time?” Peach ask to the koopa wizard.

Kamek sadly sighed. 

“Luke was the one who helped us the must at that time. He told us some weakness all the dark demons share; sun, salt, holy water, holy weapons and silver. Unfortunately we have no idea how to make holy water or holy weapons and had no time to forge weapons made of silver. Needless to say, salt was also very hard to obtain at that time. Our only plan was fighting and holding him in one place until the sun rises, for the sun to kill him. however we never expected the Great Calamity to be so powerful. Not even with the powers of a super star did we have a chance to stand against him.”

Everyone was quiet at this declaration. They knew how powerful a super star was; using the power of a super star can turn you temporarily into an invincible being. If the power of a super star wasn’t enough against the Great Calamity, they were in big trouble.

“We all are going to die!” yelled a random toad.

“No one will die!” yelled Peach, slamming the table in anger. “We need to figure out how to face him without causing many casualties!”

“How about we seal him again?” Suggested Donkey Kong. “Kamek, you know how to use that spell Luke used, don’t you?”

“Yes, I do. Luke told me about it and I saw the runes he used on himself. I will never forget those runes.” said Kamek, remembering Luke’s last moments.

“I know the spell needs a virgin omega to work. I am a virgin omega. Use me if you have to.” The prince declared, appointing himself.

All the kongs present in the war council looked at Donkey Kong in shock; no one knew their prince was an omega.

With reproach in his eyes, his father, King Cranky Kong, tells his son to stop talking nonsense. But his son finally snaps.

“Shut up, old man! We all know you don’t like me because I’m an omega. Guess what? I am tired of getting your approval! I love myself the way I am! And I am willing to sacrifice my life to save my people and my world!”

Mario puts his hand on Donkey Kong’s hand. He glares at the king and tells him he doesn’t deserve Donkey Kong. He is perfect the way he is and he’s happy to see him the way he is: a brave omega against all the odds. 

“However, DK, I don’t want you to sacrifice yourself. You’re important to your people.” Said Mario, making Donkey Kong blush; it was the first time he used his nickname.

“I refuse to use another omega to sacrifice for us all .” aid Kamek. “Even if we do use the sacrifice spell, what if another idiot unleashes him again? The chosen sacrifice’s death will be meaningless!”

“I don’t agree with using the sacrifice spell either,” Added Peach. “However, let's keep this as our last resort. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m open to anything in order to save us all.”

They were all quiet, no one knew how to deal with this kind of monster. Then, Luigi raised his hand, getting everyone’s attention.

“What if we get a Belmont to help us?” He asks. “The Belmont clan is a family who are experts in hunting demons. Luke was one of them, he was the one who sealed the Great Calamity when he first attacked and from what I know, Luke had almost no training dealing with demons. Maybe a fully trained Belmont could help us in this situation.”

They all thought Luigi’s idea was not bad at all. Peach asked how they could find one; no one knew the family and the princess was even afraid they may refuse to help because this world was a world of no human beings.

“Before we left Selene Island, Oracle told me about Graziella knowing a Belmont.” commented Luigi to them. 

Mario looked at Luigi in shock. “Graziella? Nostra Graziella? How?!”

“I dunno! Oracle just told me Graziella knows one! She might be our only hope!”

“But she lives on the other side of Brooklyn! Even if our van was working, It would take hours to get to Graziella's house and bring a Belmont back here because of the traffic!” said Mario in panic.

“Eeer, what if I take you there?” asked a koopa.

They all turned to a small koopa who was wearing a pair of glasses. He introduced himself as Lakitu and his special ability is to ride on magic clouds. Mario agreed; flying may be the quickest way to get things done. 

Bowser mentioned if they arrive late, he could delay the monster from getting out of the Desert Land. He admitted he has the ability to temporarily become a dry bone; dry bones are undead and being undead the miasma infection may not affect them. 

They all agreed with the plan; iIt was the best course of action they had at the moment. Mario and Lakitu left the kingdom while everyone else were preparing weapons and other arsenals to attack the Great Calamity: they only had 10 hours before the sunset.

Luigi is in a room, staring at the bottle in his hands. The bottle has the water of the Lake of Transformation. He remembered Oracle's words.

FLASHBACK 

"I usually do not recommend drinking the water of the lake. It will still transform you into another being, however it will also cause you to lose one yourself. Losing what makes you you."

"Then, why are you giving me this?" Asked Luigi, confused.

"Because the strings of time showed me you will become a holy beast by drinking this water. Not only will you save your beloved koopa king and aid your Belmont allies, but also you will save a life that has been trapped inside of that monster for five hundred years. "

END OF FLASHBACK 

Luigi remembered Oracle also mentioning him, a Kong and an omega child bathing together in the lake to become something else. He knew the kong was Donkey Kong. The omega child? He only knew one.

"Oracle…are you saying Luke is still alive? And I am the one who is going to save him?"

Back to Human world, Mario and Lakitu arrived in Brooklyn via warp pipe. They both were flying on Lakitu’s  magic cloud. Lakitu was surprised how big the city was and Mario mentioned he hadn’t seen anything yet. The plumber took his cellphone and showed Lakitu where Graziella’s apartment was via GPS. The koopa was amazed by the small device.

“Wow, if we had this in our world, I wouldn’t get lost so much.” Said the small koopa.

It took more or less ten minutes to arrive at Graziella’s apartment. They saw through the apartment’s varanda, a young woman with brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a training outfit while drinking a water bottle. Mario suspected his cousin might have just returned from the gym that she went to in her neighborhood. Lakitu made his cloud approach the young woman’s porch. Mario hopped off from the cloud and started to knock on the varanda’s glass door.

“Graziella!” Mario calls her, while he knocks on the varanda’s glass door.

Graziella turned around and saw Mario and a turtle creature flying on a cloud. She dropped her bottle in shock.

“Mario, is that you?” 

The young woman opened the door and left Mario and the turtle into her house. She told her cousin she had a lot of questions to ask. Mario sheepishly smiled at her while introducing Lakitu. Lakitu waved happily to her.

“Err… I thought his name was Son Goku. I mean, he’s riding on a cloud.”

“Son Goku?” Lakitu was confused, "who is Son Goku?"

“Just a fictional character, Lakitu.” Said Mario before turning to his cousin.“Grazi, I know you have a lot of questions, but we're in a hurry. Do you know a Belmont? It's really but really important that we have to find a Belmont.”

Before Graziella could answer, a door opened behind her. An old bearded man came out from the room and asked Graziella if Mario was there, since he was hearing his voice. Then, the old man looked at Mario who waved nervously at the old man, with Lakitu on his side.

“Ciao Uncle J. It’s been a while.”

The old man was Mario’s uncle and Graziella’s father. 

Lakitu was confused; they were related but they didn’t look like each other at all. Mario told the koopa that Uncle J was his uncle by marriage, and Graziella took more her mother’s looks than her father's; which was the reason why they were different.

The old man, J, looked at Mario and then, he looked at Lakitu. He stared at the turtle for a few minutes before asking…

“Isn’t Son Goku a monkey?” The old man asks. “I thought he was a monkey in the Journey to The West tale.”

Lakitu was even more confused and frustrated; who was this Son Goku?! Mario calmed the koopa down and told his relatives this was not ‘The Journey To The West’ tale thing. Mario explained everything that happened since the day of the flood, Mushroom Kingdom, the koopa and the Great Calamity and two Belmonts being involved into that realm five hundred years ago. Uncle J frowned when Mario had mentioned a Belmont had become a monster.

“Dad?” Graziella says, looking at her father in concern. Her father looked very annoyed.

“Ah crap… this is not the first time I’ve heard a Belmont had fallen to the darkness.” Uncle J sighed in frustration, while rubbing his nose.

Mario and Lakitu looked at the old man in confusion. What did he just say?

“Mario, you don't know my full name, do you?” He asks. Mario shook his head. “My full name is Julius Belmont.”

Mario’s jaw dropped in shock; his uncle was a Belmont? And a demon hunter?! Then, he looked at her cousin and she admitted she was also a demon huntress. She’s a nurse by day, and a huntress by night.

“You gotta be kidding me!” Mario exclaims, feeling his mind blowing. 

“So, can you two help us?” Lakitu asks, a bit worried. “I know our world is no human world but we have never faced a demon before. The Belmont child, Luke, helped us as much as he could, but it was still not enough. Please, I beg you, help us. You’re our only hope.” 

Lakitu bowed to them, begging for help. Graziella placed her hand on his head, telling him they will help them, after all, it was their responsibility as the Belmont clan members to put down a fallen Belmont. Lakitu cried and hugged her; she was an angel.

“Give us some time to prepare ourselves, kids. If you’re saying he can transform into a kaijuu sized monster, we need to get all the necessary tools to face this fallen Belmont.” Said Julious to Mario.

Mario nodded to them, in understanding. He just told them to not take too long because they had no idea how the time flows between Broklyn and the other world. As fair as he knew, there might be a possibility it was already dark in the other world.

The night came in the Desert Land. The Dark Pyramid exploded when a huge manticore came out, roaring.

“Finally, the sun is gone. Now nothing will stop me.” Says the Great Calamity.

Then, on the horizon he saw Bowser with an army of dry bone koopas standing there. Bowser glared at the giant monster- the same monster who took his parents away from him.

"KOOPAS!" King Bowser shouted as the dry bones grabbed their weapons. Bowser took a dagger and stabbed his own chest. Then, a blast of energy enveloped him, out of nowhere, Bowser became a gigantic dry bone koopa. “TONIGHT WE REVANGE OUR FALLEN!”

Chapter Text

In the horizon of the Desert Land, several flying battleships were at the back, waiting for the right moment to support Bowser.

Luigi was on the deck, waiting for the battle to happen as soon the sun set down. Peach asked Kamek if it was safe to be this close. Kamek confirmed each battleship had a magical gem that can form a purifying barrier, they were safe from the miasma poisoning as long the ships or gems are not damaged. The ships were ready to take action in case Bowser and the other dry bones needed aid.

Celica and Lucina were by Luigi’s side. They were in battle mode and ready to take action to protect their Divine omega.

"Divine One, I don't think your brother will get back here in time." Said Lucina, worried.

"I know, we were aware this could happen. Where we're from, it's a really big place. Even with Lakitu’s help, they might still need time to find and bring the Belmont back here." Said Luig, worried.

"Unfortuality, time is not in our favor, Divine One. But do you think it's really necessary for you to drink the water from the Lake of Transformation? That guardian said you might lose your personality if you become a holy beast after drinking the water."  said Celica, also worried for their divine omega’s safety.

Luigi’s maids in waiting are the only ones who know about the bottle Luigi is caring for. He had to tell them since they are his closest koopa friends and they know how to handle things better than Bowser and his brother, Mario, when it comes to his safety. Luigi told them Oracle said everything would be ok and he trusted his words. After all, they all would be at the Valley of Transformation in two months.

KABAAM

They are all startled at the explosion in the horizon. Looks like the battle has begun. Luigi prays for Bowser’s safety.

Bowser and Great Calamity were exchanging punches and tackles at each other, roaring furiously like the titans they were. The dry bones tried to help their king to fight but they were always blown away by the burst of power between the giants. One brave dry bone threw a spear at the calamity’s eye. That gave Bowser a chance to fire his powerful firebreath against him.

The manticore cried in pain as the fire burned his skin. When the fire was off, his burned skin quickly regenerated.

“Too bad you don’t have the right tools to harm me, beast.” Says Calamity, smirking.

Bowser growled; he knew the Great Calamity was powerful but he didn’t expect he was that powerful. However the king didn't need to defeat him, he needed to buy time for either Mario and Lakitu to return with a Belmont or delay him until the sunrise.

“Even being just bones you look familiar.” Calamity comments, frowning at Bowser “Where did I see that face… ? Oh! I get it, are you by any chance the son of that omega beast, Durga?”

The dry bones soldiers froze as they looked at their king. He was also frozen by the demon’s words. The demon smirked.

“I see, you’re really her son. Heheh You kinda looked like her, but in terms of power, you’re weak. I admit your mother was powerful for an omega. If she had some holy weapons with her, she may have had a chance to defeat me.”

Bowser was quiet for a moment. He knew what happened to the first battle. Kamek had told him when he was a small koopaling, when he asked why he didn’t have parents. Though he had suffered for being an orphan, the one who suffered the most was Kamek himself; Not only he was responsible for only raising him and the other orphaned koopalings, but also he was their king until Bowser was old enough to be crowned one. The koopa king took a deep breath to calm his nerves down since he knew the demon wanted to provoke him to lose his cool. And he almost did.

“I might not be as powerful as my parents were, but you’re not a big deal either. I heard your omega son was the one who sealed you away. And I've heard he had no training in how to hunt night demons by your clan. To be honest, I think your son was stronger and more powerful than you.” Bowser smirks.

The Great Calamity growled and then roared. Suddenly several boos appeared around him. King Boo was among them. This shocked Bowser.

“King Boo, what’s the meaning of this?!” Bowser shouted in anger

King Boo just  giggled at the koopa king. “We only formed an alliance because we thought you would cause chaos at Mushroom Kingdom. Then, you had to meet that stupid omega and start to have a change of heart. We didn’t like your changes, Bowser. Then, we decided to guide those stupid toads to the amphora's chamber to release our true king of chaos here, Great Calamity, to unleash chaos into this world.”

Bowser growled in anger, he shouldn’t have made an alliance with King Boo. He thought King Boo and his boos were different from the ones of the Calamity Age but he was wrong; he should have listened to Kamek when they were forming alliances with King Boo.

“You know very well without the shaman mages, nothing can hurt….ARGHT!”

Everybody was shocked when they heard a sound of shooting and King Boo disintegrating as the bullet hit him. Everybody turned where the shooting came from. Everybody saw two humans riding on Lakitu’s magic clouds. 

“Our king!! What have you done to our king?!” A boo cried out in horror.

The female human was wearing leather armor, holding twin pistols in her hands while the male human, he was wearing the same type of leather armor, only he was holding two whips. The Great Calamity recognized the crests the two humans were using; those two were Belmonts!

Mario and Lakitu hopped off from the magic cloud and met Peach and the rest of the gang at the warship. Luigi was shocked to learn his uncle and cousin were the Belmonts they were looking for. Everyone took their binocoles to watch the battle.

“You two are Belmonts!” shouted Calamity “Why are you taking these abominations' side?! And you allow women to fight now? You're dirting our Belmont names! Who do you think you are?!”

Graziella glared at the monster, what she hated most was sexist alpha men. Julious told her to calm down. 

“We don’t have to answer you and much less say our names because you will die here. It's our responsibility as the Belmonts to put down our traitors.” said Julius, glaring at the former Belmont.

Julius ordered Graziella to help the little koopas with the boos while he would help Bouser with the Calamity himself. Graziella nodded, telling her father to be careful.

They jumped off from Lakitu’s magic cloud and started to fight. Graziella gave to some dry bones koopas silver daggers and ordered them to attack the ghosts with the daggers since those weapons would affect them. Owain, one of the dry bones, was the first to attack a boo and the boo crumbled.

“Hey it really works!” He exclaimed, happily.

The ones who had the daggers started to attack the boos like crazy turtles while Graziella used her pistols to kill the ones who were further away. The dry bones who didn't have effective weapons only stared at the young demon huntress; if they had their flesh, they would be blushing; Graziella showed an amazing agility dealing with the boos with her pistols. And they were not the only ones who were amazed by the young woman’s charm.

Black on the warship, Peach, Celica, Lucina and Lakitu were blushing deeply as they saw Graziella using her superhuman flexibility and agility against the boos. The princess of Mushroom Kingdom asked the brothers if they could introduce their cousin to her. Celica and Lucina asked if their cousin was single. Lakitu glared at the she-koopas and the princess.

“Back off, ladies! I saw her first!” Said Lakitu, glaring at them.

Mario and Luigi sweetdropped: They forgot that because of her physic, athletic body and personality, everybody falls for Graziella’s charm, no matter who the person is.

Julius used his whips to attack Great Calamity with Bowser’s help. Bowser told Julius he wasn't a bad fighter for an old man. Julius smirked and thanked King Bowser and told him he wasn't bad either for a bunch of bones.

"Hey, after this fight is over, how about a friendly match someday?"

"It will be my pleasure. It will be nice to have a friendly match with someone else beside Alucard."

They kept attacking the Great Calamity and this time, his wounds were not regenerating. The beast was losing.

"I can't lose!!" He thought "not when I just got my freedom."  

As an act of despair, Great Calamity invoked torrents of black water. Bowser and everyone else were horrified when they saw a tsunami of black water before them. Bowser quickly grabbed Graziella and Julius and tossed them up before being dragged away by the dark waters along with the other dry bones.

"Bowser!" Luigi cried out in horror.

"Dammit! I had no idea that the Great Calamity could summon an ocean in the middle of the desert! " Shouted Kamek in anger.

Mario was relieved when he saw his cousin and uncle were saved on a floating block. He had to thank Bowser for his quick thinking. Peach ordered the crew of every ship to prepare themselves to attack and give support to the Belmonts.

Mario noticed two item boxes above his uncle and cousin and shouted at them to punch the yellow blocks above them. The Belmont nodded and they punched the yellow boxes above them. Julius smirked when he noticed he got ice power after his clothes turned blue and white colors.

"Nice! What about you Grazi…. Hun?"

Julius was confused with his daughter's new outfit. She was wearing a raccoon outfit and she hated it. If their situation wasn't serious, he would have burst into laughter. 

"Urgh… I look ridiculous! I am so glad Cereza and Alucard aren't here!" 

"You still hang around with that umbra witch?" Julius asks, frowning at her.

"Dad, Cereza has her quirks but she's cool. She was the one who gave me these pistols as a graduation gift."

Then, they saw the Great Calamity emerging out from the dark water, standing on it. He looked pissed, very pissed. The blasted fire out of his mouth. Julius and Graziella jumped away from the blast.

Julius used his new ice powers to freeze the water under him, for him to have something solid to stand on. When he was looking for Graziella, he looked up and noticed she was flying thanks to the raccoon suit.

“Oh, looks like that weird suit is not so useless after all. You look great as a flying furry, sweetheart!” Julius couldn’t help but smirking. Graziella didn’t look amused.

“Don’t call me furry!” Graziella shouted angrily

“What about that time when you, Luigi and Mario went to that comic con? You were dressed as a sexy furry.” Julius teased

“I was dressed up as a human Eevee! Not a sexy furry!! Besides, I was fifteen at that time!!!” Graziella 's face was as red as a tomato.

Mario and Luigi had a blanked stare on their faces. They remember that comic con, and very well. They were all dressed as pokemon characters; Mario and Luigi were dressed as Charmander and Bulbasaur, while Graziella, who was five years older than the brothers, decided to dress up as a human Eevee. But because the costume itself was very...attractive, that got the attention of another group of female cosplayers (who were dressed as sexy human eeveelutions) and invited her to take a photo with them since they were missing an Eevee. Mario and Luigi also took a part of the group picture because the female cosplayers found them very cute( Both Mario and Luigi were ten at that time) as Charmander and Bulbasaur.

“Guys, focus!!” Shouted Mario in anger. He just hoped his uncle would not bring that comic con to them. He knew his uncle had photos of them going to that Comic con and he knew he would use those photos to blackmail them.

Graziella, who was more magic expert than Julius, used a type of wind magic to create another giant wave against the Great Calamity and using his ice powers, Julius froze the monster solid. Graziella appointed her twin pistols and Julius his Morning Star whip ready to give the final blow when….

“Someone…help me!”

Everybody heard a voice in their heads.

“Durga…Theos.. Rex… anyone... please …. help me!”

Kamek’s eyes widened in horror when he recognized the voice. “LUKE!” the magikoopa cried out .

Everybody was shocked; Luke is alive? Graziella and Julius noticed the voice was coming from inside of the Great Calamity. The ice cracked and the Belmonts were hit by the blast of energy, losing their power ups.

Before they could hit the dark water, Lakitu rescued them at the last second, taking them back to the ship.

Peach ordered every warship to attack. They fired several bullet bills against the monster. Mario and Luigi approached their relatives.

"Are you guys OK?" Asked Mario in concern, while helping Graziella and Julius to be on their feet.

“Yeah but…" started Graziella. Her dad finished for her.

"We heard a child's voice inside that demon." Said Julious, frowning.

Kamek could not believe what he was hearing, Luke was alive, really alive! Graziella used some of her magic and she could see the child trapped inside of Great Calamity’s heart. Donkey Kong asked how they could rescue Luke from that thing.

“I don’t know,” Julious replied as Peach and the rest of the warships kept firing at Great Calamity. “I don’t think we can save that child.”

Luigi frowned, he took the bottle Oracle gave him. He knew what to do. Oracle told him he would know the right time he would use the water and now he found his cue. Lugi told everyone he knew how to save Luke.

“Divine one, don’t tell me you’re going to drink the water!” shouted Celica in concern.

“Drinking the water? What’s she talking about, Lu?” asked Mario, without understanding anything.

Luigi explained everything since Selene Island, about the Valley of Transformation, Oracle, and the events that led to that point and Oracle’s warning about drinking the water from the lake. Everybody was shocked after hearing this.

“Lu. no!” said Mario “We can think of something else to save Luke from that monster. You don’t need to sacrifice yourself for this.”

“Sorry everyone. I already made up my mind” Said Luigi, smiling. “For once, let me be the hero.” 

Then, Luigi drank the water from the bottle and jumped out from the ship. He could hear everyone’s voices calling for him. In his mind, Luigi knew what kind of holy beast he would transform into. He knew about the creature since that day of Comic con, when an artist was drawing divine beasts from asian legends and he got curious about one particular creature. At first, he thought it was a mutant unicorn, but the artist explained to him what kind of creature it was on the painting they did. He could hear the artist’s voice in his mind.

“This creature is mighty like the dragon, fierce like the tiger, wise like the tortoise, noble like the phoenix. A holy beast that protects the innocent, respects life and slays the evil darkness with the fierceness of a thunderstorm.”

Luigi glows green before engaging in a blast of energy. Peach orders to cease fire when they all see the green light. Then, they saw a green creature walking on the dark water, a creature that most of them had never seen before. A green creature resembles a large unicorn, though a closer look reveals that it has a lion-like face and is covered in scales, rather than a coat. Its majestic white mane and hair stand on end, as if charged with static. The creature crackles with stray electricity.

“Kirin is the name of the holy beast.”

Everybody was amazed by Luigi’s transformation. Donkey Kong asked what kind of creature he had become because it was a creature no one had ever seen before. Graziella answered he became a kirin, a kind of holy beast. Julius added that in some places of Asia, kirins were considered stronger than dragons themselves. Everybody was shocked by this information; stronger than dragons?

Luigi could hear the kirins thoughts in his head, he knew he didn’t have much time until the kirin consumed his mind, he had to act fast to save Luke. Taking the first step, he released a holy energy which not only purifies the dark water beneath him, but also the air around him. 

“What the… the miasma’s poison in the water and in the air were just purified!” shouted Kamek in pure shock. Not even Durga had this kind of purifying power. “How?!”

“Kirins have this kind of power,” explained Julius to everyone. “Just like unicorns, kirins have the power to purify what has been corrupted. Indeed, Luigi chose an excellent holy beast to transform into to face that monster.”

Luigi stared at the Great Calamity and then he ran. He ran like he had never run before.

The calamity roared as he threw at Luigi shadowballs. Luigi’s horn glowed, transforming into a huge blade of light cutting the shadow balls in half at the same time purifying them. He summoned a thunderbolt to strike the demon. The monster cried out in pain. Then, Luigi felt someone on his back. He saw Mario was riding on his back while he was running towards the monster.

“Brother?”

“Lu, I will not let you do this by yourself. We all will help to save Luke.”

Luigi saw Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, Kamek, Lucina , Celica, Julius and Graziella, all riding on Lakitu 's magic clouds, running along them. They all attacked Great Calamity together, using their strongest attack. Donkey Kong threw at the demon a huge bomb, while Lucina, Julius and Graziella used their weapons to attack him while Peach, Kamek and Celica used their magic to attack. They all attacked at the same time. 

“Your little ... .Do you think you can defeat me!!” shouted Calamity in anger.

Suddenly, a giant Bowser, who is not a dry bone anymore, emerges from the water just like Godzilla does at Tokyo Bay from the movies. He grabs Great Calamity behind him, holding him in place.

“Don't you dare to think I am out of fighting yet, punk!” Growled Bowser in anger.

“Yeah, show him boss!” Yelled the koopas on his back.

Thanks to Luigi’s purification, not only Bowser returned to normal but also all his dry bones army as well.

Luigi shouted at Bowser to expose Calamity’s chest. Bowser’s eyes widened in shock; was that quadruped creature Luigi? How long was he out? He shook his head; he would ask questions later. With his strength, he was able to espouse Calamity's chest. Luigi’s horn once more formed a huge blade of light and cut the demon’s chest. Great Calamity roared in pain as a light fissure formed in his chest.

“Mario, we’re going inside. Are you ready?” Luigi asks his brother.

“Ready ready as I’ll never be.” Answered Mario with determination. “Let's save the kid.”

Luigi nodded. He ran and they jumped right into the light fissure. Kamek prayed to Durga, Theos and all his koopa ancestors for the brothers to save Luke with success.

Mario and Luigi ran through the tunnel of darkness until they reached a strange creepy field. Mario wondered where they were. Luigi said that place might be the representation of Calamity’s mind.

“Wait… did you say his mind? Don’t tell me we’re something like Persona 5, where people’s minds are represented with weird places and we have to fight with their shadow forms when we reach for their treasures?” Mario frowned while hopping off from Luigi’s back.

“I’m afraid this might be the case.” said Luigi,

Mario couldn't help but groan; that was all they needed at the moment. Suddenly the ground  started to quake and several skeletons came out from the dirt. Luigi and Mario screamed, terrified. Luigi stomped on the ground and released an electrical discharge against the skeletons. The skeletons dissolved into dust.

"Nice work Lu! " Said Mario smiling. Then, he noticed something odd. "Lu?

Luigi’s eyes were not expressing like a human. Instead it was like an animal. That made Mario worried. He held the kirin's face, to make it look at him.

"Luigi, are you still there?" Asked Mario in concern.  “Luigi?”

Took a moment for the expression of the eyes to change. Luigi looked at Mario confused, asking what's the matter. Mario sighed in relief. 

"Bro, I thought I had lost you." Said Mario, letting Luigi’s face go. " How much time do we have?"

"Not much, I am afraid," Said Luigi with sincerity. The kirin's personality was getting stronger each minute."We need to find Luke and get out here as soon as possible."

Before them they saw a mansion. The mansion was covered in dark and gloomy energy. And the brothers were not that surprised; a haunted mansion was too obvious too them.

Before they could step inside, they felt a hand on them. They screamed and jumped around just to find Graziella was there.

"What the… Grazi, what're you doing here?" Asked Mario, surprised. 

"Do you really think I'd leave you dinkos inside of a demon's mind by yourselves? I am coming with you."

The brothers were happy that their cousin was with them. They were ready to face whatever things they may face. 

Inside of the mansion, Graziella saw the painting in the wall; she recognized some of those people were the past Belmonts. Their cousin mentioned the mansion might be the past Belmont manor before the Belmont's fall by the catholic church.

They kept walking before arriving in a big hall. They all saw a child; he was chained and hanging on the roof, unconscious. Luigi recognized it was Luke.

“Welcome to the Belmont Manor, intruders.” said a voice in the air.

They were surrounded by black smoke. The smoke chases and forms a human which Mario recognized as Calamity’s human form.

“I have to admit, I never expected to see a holy beast in this era and much less a beta woman with Belmont’s blood fighting this well. But this ends now! I am the head of the Belmont family!” Calamity said as he took a flaming whip. Graziella frowned; it was like seeing a corrupted version of Vampire Killer. 

Graziella ordered Mario to get Luke out of his bounds while she and Luigi would deal with Calamity. Mario nodded as the fight started, Calamity used his flaming whip to attack Graziella and Luigi. Luigi quickly put Graziella on his back and they dodge the attack. Graziella took her own whip out and started to attack. Whip vs whip.

Mario was hanging in the chairs white reaching for Luke. He nervously looked at the fight; he never had imagined His cousin Graziella was a monster while fighting and Luigi, he knew he was a bit coward but he was fighting equally bravely along with their cousin. He needed to be brave as well. He finally reached for Luke and started to call him out, to wake him up.

“Luke, kiddo! Come, you have to wake up!” Mario said while shaking him.

Luke groaned as he started to open his eyes. He looked at Mario and asked who he was. He just said he was a family’s friend.

BOOM!”

They looked down and the battle was getting more fierce than before.

“But I'm definitely not your father's friend!” Mario quickly said.

Calamity was getting madder and madder. Why? Why can’t he hit them? He was a belmont! the strongest of all. He should have been the family head, not his cousin!”

Luigi and Graziella had enough of his guy. Luigi formed his blade of light through his horn and he decapitated him. The chains that held Luke disappeared and Luke and Mario fell, only to be caught by Graziella by each arm.

"So, you're Luke. Nice to meet. I am Graziella M.Belmont.” Graziella smiled, wiking at him.

Luke couldn’t help but blush deeply. He never saw a woman with strong arms and with some amazing abs. He could imagine Trevor having a huge crush on Graziella.

“Eer…cousin?” Mario called.

That’s when she noticed she was still carrying them in her arms. She helped them to be on their feet. Then, the manor started to quake; the world was crumbling. Luigi ordered everybody to hop on his back. Mario, Grazielle and Luke hopped on Luigi’s back and Luigi jumped out from the window and started to gallop in full speed, towards the fissure where they came from. They crossed the figure before the world crumbed behind them.

In the real world, Great Calamity roared in pain as Luigi jumped out from the fissure along with Mario, Graziella and Luke on his back. They all saw the great demon’s body cracking before turning into ashes. After five hundred years,the Great Calamity was dead and dead for good. It was finally over.

On the ship, everybody cheered over their victory. Kamek cried while hugging Luke. Luke cried as well, begging Kamek to forgive him for forcing him to go with his plan of sealing his father away using his life. Kamek hugged him even tighter.

“Luke, I'm just glad you returned to us.” said Kamek, smiling at him. “If they were alive, Durga, Theos and Rex would be happy to see you alive and well.”

That made Luke sad. Everyone he knew from five hundred years ago was gone. Only Kamek was alive. Then, Kamek introduced Luke to Bowser ( Bowser returned to his original size). The king smiled at Luke, finally meeting his long lost brother.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, kiddo. Kamek told me a lot about you.” Said Bowser, smiling.

“You look like a mix between your parents, I saw you when you were an egg.” said Luke blushing, avoiding looking at Bowser’s eyes. “I… I wanted to be one of you but your mother didn’t allow me; she thought I was rushing things. She wanted to travel around this world first before making a decision. Then, my father happened and I never had the chance to make a decision.”

Bowser was aware of this part too. Luke wanted to be an omega koopa and he couldn’t blame him for waiting to be one of them. After hearing Luigi’s story and Kamek telling Luke’s story, he thought the human world was a terrible place for omegas. He placed his hand on Luke’s head.

“Kiddo, my mother didn’t want you making a decision you may regret later. She loved you and she wanted you to mature first before making a life changing decision. You’re her child and my little brother, you’ll always be welcome to the koopa tribe.” said Bowser, smiling.

Luke couldn't help but to smile back, while tears ran down from his face. For the first time, these were tears of joy.

“Actually sir, Luke is your older brother. He was there when you were an egg.” Corrected Kamek.

Bowser blushed embarrassed and everyone laughed. Mario called for Luigi to celebrate along with them but he noticed something off; Luigi wasn’t responding. That made everyone quiet.

“Luigi?” Mario calls once again, approaching his brother.

The kirin looks at Mario and he gets scared. He neighs and attacks Mario with an electric charge from his horn. Mario cries out in pain and falls to the floor. The kirin takes the opportunity to take off, flying towards the sky, ignoring everyone’s crying; who is Luigi?

Chapter Text

The defeat against Great Calamity should have been full of celebrations but it wasn’t. Luigi lost himself to the kirin’s persona and now he was flying off around the world aimlessly.

It's been almost a week since the defeat of the Great Calamity and Luigi going missing. Bowser, Mario and Graziella were on a flying ship to look for Luigi. Looking for a kirin in the sky was not an easy task.

Unfortuality Princess Peach couldn't be on the searching team, even with the defeat of the greatest monster ever, her kingdom was a chaos and she needed to focus on her people. She would join them as soon as she could.

Julious also had to return to the human world; though he had allies, he couldn't leave NY for too long or else night creatures may cause a big havoc. But he wished Graziella and others good luck on finding Luigi. He only asked them to inform him when they found Luigi.

Another one who couldn't join the team either were Celica and Lucina; Luigi’s maids in waiting. Bowser ordered them to keep their kingdom in order until they returned with Luigi. The twins wondered why Kamek was not chosen for this task since he was more suitable for this since he was the king before Bowser was crowded. Bowser agreed with their logic but he needed Kamek by his side while they looked for Luigi. The twins understood the situation; their king needed someone to be his rock and Kamek was this person. Celica and Lucina told their king they wouldn't fail and they wished the searching team good luck to find their divine omega.

Donkey Kong also was in the searching team. Mario asked if it was ok for him to be in the team since he was the Kong prince. Donkey Kong made a nervous expression on his face.

"The thing is… I'm not the kong prince anymore." He said while nervously chuckling.

Everybody gasped in surprise.

"What?!" Shouted Mario in shock "Why? Did the jerk of your father disown you?"

"More like our people disowned him,'' said Donkey Kong. "You see, even after we defeated the Great Calamity and saved Luke, it still wasn't enough for Queen Reina to rest in peace. So I decided to tell the truth to my people and Queen Reina supported me with this decision. Needless to say my father didn't like any of this, much less our people. Our people wanted to dethrone my father since no one liked him, but still want me to be their king. I was honest with them and told them I wasn't suitable to be the kong king. So, with Queen Reina’s blessing, Funky Kong was chosen to be our new king. He may look like an easy going type guy but he’s one of the smartest kongs in our kingdom and he takes responsibilities very seriously. I am happy he’s our king instead of me.” he said, smiling.

Mario commented that DK was responsible; he was very loved by his people but yet he was aware he wasn’t suitable to be king. Mario asked DK what he plans to do from now on. Donkey Kong answered he planned to go to the Valley of Transformation to be human. He couldn't let go of the thought of being an inspiration to omega kids from Mario’s world. Mario was very surprised when he mentioned that.

“Are you sure?” Mario asks “I really think you’re going to be a great inspiration for omega kids from my world, but you will also get a lot of attention from haters as well. Are you prepared for this?”

Donkey Kong smirked while showing off his muscles, telling Mario he was born ready. He even told him to let the haters to hate everything they want, nothing would stop him to be a model for the kids.

Without them noticing, Graziella only stared at the duo with a knowing smirk. She could tell Mario and Kong had something for each other. She hoped she could convince Mario to go to medical school, Princess Peach wanted Mario to be her world’s doctor.

Flashback - A week ago.

“You want Mario to be a doctor?” Asked Graziella, surprised.

Peach nodded to her. 

“He saved Toad’s life from the little he knew about medicine and first aid. You see, no one ever survived miasma poisoning, even if we use healing magic, but it is useless against miasma poisoning. However, Toad Survived from miasma poisoning thanks to Mario. I want Mario to be a full doctor to save the people’s lives of this world. I want to help him to reach his dream but I’m afraid he may refuse my help. He mentioned this college thing is very expensive.”

“Yeah, it is. And I can see Mario refusing your help; sometimes he can be very stubborn. He likes to do things in his own way, without anyone’s help. You know how alpha men act, right?TThey think they can take the weight of the world on their shoulders. Mario didn’t break yet thanks to Luigi’s support.” said Graziella. “But why don’t you ask him yourself?”

Peach sighed, telling her that her kingdom needed her at the moment and because of this he couldn’t be on the searching team.

“Mario told me he admires you a lot and sees you as his big sister. He may listen to you better than I do, since we don’t know each other that long. I already gathered all the necessary treasure to help him. Is this amount enough?” Peach asks, showing a big chest full of golden coins and some jewelry. 

Graziella almost had a heart attack when she saw the amount. It was more than enough; it was only only enough for Mario to get a free-debt ride for college, but also enough for him to get his first house and get his retirement at same time!

End of Flashback

Graziella frowned; how in the world was she going to convince Mario to accept Peach’s help? Perhaps it’d be best to find Luigi first; after all Mario listens to Luigi’s without question.

In one of the ship’s rooms, Luke looked through the window with his binocles. He was also on the searching team as well. He was so lost in the thoughts he didn’t hear his bodyguard calling him. 

“Sorry Ludwig. I didn’t hear you.” Luke smiled.

Ludwig was the oldest koopaling of the tripe. Because of his high intelligence and skills on magic and being the same age as Luke, he was picked by Bowser and Kamek to be Luke’s bodyguard. Ludwig never thought that one day he would be picked up to be a bodyguard of an omega and the omega that was adopted by Queen Durga a long time ago.

“And I told you, you can call me Luke.” the boy said.

Ludwig blushed as he quickly said he couldn’t ever call him by his first name. He was a divine omega, same as Luigi was and he was a higher hierarchy than him. That was something Luke was not used to; omegas having a higher hierarchy than betas and, sometimes, alphas. Even after waking up five hundred years later, the koopa was the same as before.

“How about this, when no one is around, you can call me by my real name?”

Ludwig looked at Luke with admiration in his eyes, telling him that may work for him better. Though they only knew each other for just one week, they already feel a connection.

“I think that may work…..Luke?” said Ludwig, blushing.

Luke smiled, being glad to be called by his name. While the boys were talking to each other, they were not aware someone was spying on them and that someone was Kamek. He was watching the boys through his crystal ball. He couldn't  stop smiling; the real reason why he picked Ludwig was not only to keep Luke safe, but also to give Luke something he didn’t have for a long time; a friend. And maybe this friendship could become something special.

The kirin arrived in a land full of death, darkness and corruption. The pollution caused by Great Calamity on that island happened a long time ago. Even after some centuries, the land still had no life; this would change now.

As he gathered energy in his horn, the kirin felt a presence; this presence was of a spirit. He saw the spirit before him. Somehow he knew her, but where? He couldn’t recall. The spirit looked at him with a warm and yet sad smile.

“Luigi, when are you going home? You’re making everyone worried about you.” said the spirit,

Who was worried about him? He doesn’t remember anything. The kirin only saw shadows in his mind but he couldn’t see who they were. Then, the spirit stroked his face with tenderness and care.

“You’ve lost yourself to the kirin, haven't you, Luigi? I am sorry for making you go through this. Let me help you to remember your loved ones, even if just for a moment.”

Then, a bright and warm light covered the island.

Some time later, Bower received an odd call. When he got in his office, he was surprised to see an old female Kremeling through Kamek’s crystal ball. 

“Greeting King Bowser. I am Cuca- leader of the nomads kremilings. I am calling you to thank you.”

Bowser looked confused; what? He had no idea what she was talking about. The leader asked him if he wasn’t responsible for the creation of a green quadruped creature that had the power to purify darkness. Bowser jumped from his chair.

“Did you see Luigi? Is he still on Crocodile island?” He asks

Cuca shook her head, saying the creature flew off when he saw her and her people arriving on the island. She also mentioned she had heard the creature calling for his name. Bowser was speechless; Luigi was still inside of the kirin, fighting and calling for him. He swore he would find him. After all he was his omega.

“The creature also called for another name, I think it was Selene. Do you know any Selene, King Bowser?”

Bowser didn't know any Selene. Then, he remembered Selene was the name of the flying island where the Valley of Transformation was located. He thanked the nomad leader and turned the crystal off.

“Kamek! Where and when will Selene Island appear next?”

Bowser was determined to find Luigi now that they have a clue of where and when to find him.

“Don’t worry Luigi, we will find you. I would even go to hell to find you and keep you safe; you’re more than our omega mother, you’re my omega and my mate.”

The kirin isn’t sure how long he is flying through these skies. His thoughts are on a floating island. An island that only appears on certain nights, in random areas in the sky. He isn’t sure why he’s looking for this island but he knows it is important.  Shadows figures keep appearing in his mind. Who are they? The only thing his heart knows is that he must find them on this mystical island.

However he was not aware something was watching him. A flying warship that belonged to a group of kremiling pirates, lead by none other than infamous King K.Kroll. He looked at the kirin through his spyglass.

“What a magnificent sky creature.” K. Kroll said, drolling. “Its head will make a good trophy for my wall.”

Another pirate who also saw the creature through his spyglass and he thought it was a very bad idea. He heard stories that if a creature that can fly without wings, it meant this creature was a powerful one and the one who didn’t want to mess with.

“Sir, I don’t think it's a good idea,” said his crewmate.

But his words went deaf as K.Kroll took his weapon and started targeting the creature. When the creature was in the crosshairs, he fired, and hit it.

The kirin cried out in pain.

Chapter Text

The kirin cried out in pain as he felt a burning pain in his left side of his shoulder. He looked at the direction where the pain came from. He saw an evil beastman with a gun. The kirin eyes glowed furiously as the clouds started turning black

The pirates were confused; how come the clouds turned just dark? One of the pirates shouted at K.Kroll he should have listened to him to leave that creature alone. Suddenly, the kirin attacked the pirate ship with powerful thunderbolts, destroying the ship. All the kremilings fell but luckily for them, they fell into another ship. However, for their bad luck, the ship belonged to Bowser. And he was not happy, along with several people on the board. 

“Hey Bowser, how’re you doing? I see you made new friends.” K.Kroll waved nervously to Bowser. He wondered why Bowser looked so pissed. He wasn’t in his territory, was he?

The poor fool was not aware that Bowser and everyone on his ship saw what he did to Luigi.

Bowser’s frown only got deeper as smoke was coming out from his nostrils. He was pissed. Then, K.Kroll saw Donkey Kong was also on the ship, he asked him what he was doing on Bowser’s ship. The last time he checked they were enemies.

“Kroll, shut up already. You’re in deep trouble.” said the kong, frowning at him while crossing his arms.

“Me in trouble?! Why? I was just hunting!” K. Kroll said as he got up and glared at the Kong. “Last time I checked, this area is not a koopa’s territory.”

“You hurt their omega, pal.” said Donkey Kong with his frown going deeper. “Even a fool, like yourself, knows what happens when someone hurts an omega, especially the one that belongs to the koopa tribe.”

The pirates all paled; oh yeah, they were very aware what would happen if someone hurt an omega. They were, indeed, in big and deep trouble.

“Kamek, teleport those fools to the castle’s dungeon! I will deal with them later!” said Bowser as he breathed fire.

Kamek nodded and teleported all the pirates to the castle’s dungeons. King K.Kroll and his pirates found themselves trapped inside of small cages suspended in a lava pit.

“Oh, nice, new meat for the grinder.” said Lumalee, giggling.

All the pirates glared at King K.Kroll for their bad luck. They should have stayed with their nomadic counterparts instead staying with this fool who thought he was their king.

“I told you it was a bad idea hunting that beast!!”

Back on the ship, Mario called for his brother. The kirin looked at the new ship. Those people… somehow he knew those people. He could tell he can trust them. He slowly flew towards the airship and collapsed on the floor. Mario and Bowser rushed towards him.

“Oh God… Luigi.” Mario quickly pressed his hands on his bullet wound.

Mario quickly requested towels; they needed to stop the bleeding. Graziella, knelt beside Mario and took out a potion from her belt. She warned Luigi it would sting like hell. Graziella orders Bowser to hold him. Bowser nodded as he hugged the kirin’s neck. 

“Ready?” she asks. Bowser nodded to her. 

Then, she used her healing potion on the wound. The kirin hissed in pain as he released an electrical discharge. Mario quickly pulled Graziella out the way from the discharge. Ludwid used his own body to protect Luke from any electrical discharge that may hit them. Bowser, even being electrocuted, didn’t let Luigi go.

“Luigi, it 's ok. I am here. We’re all here. No one will hurt you ever again.” Bowser held the kirin closer.

The kirin’s eyes widened in shock when he heard those words; he remembered a warm embrace when he needed a shoulder to cry. This smell…this warm…he was the one who he was looking for! His mate, his alpha. The kirin closed his eyes and slept on Bowser’s arms as he turned his electricity off. The kirin felt safe in his mate's embrace.  

It is now safe to get closer to them. Luke approaches his brother to see if he's OK.

“Are you ok, Bowser?” asked Luke, worried.

“Yeah, I am fine kiddo.” Then, he looked at Luigi. He saw the wound was closed. “Looks like Luigi will be fine too.”

“I hope so. But I am worried about the bullet inside him.” commented Mario in concern.

“Our priority was to close the wound, let's worry about the bullet later,” said Graziella. Then, he looked at Kamek. “So… when will this Selene Island appear?

“It might appear…” started Kamek, looking at his pocket watch “...now.”

Suddenly,a huge floating island appeared beneath them. They landed their airship on the island and started going to the Valley of Transformation, with Bowser carrying Luigi in his arms. Mario and Graziella were very surprised to see that Bowser could carry a horse sized creature in his arms like it was nothing. When they arrived at Valley of Transformation, they were greeted by Oracle; the island’s guardian.

“Greetings everyone, It's been two months.” he said smiling.

However they all stared at him in shock, Bowser and Kamek, who were on the island before, were even more shocked when they saw the guardian’s status; Oracle was all bandaged, with his left arm casted and a medical eyepatch on his right eye. Is it them or one of the guardian’s ears was missing?

“What the hell happened to you, dude?!” Donkey Kong was the one to ask. Everybody was too shocked to say anything.

“Nothing much.” He smiled, waving his good hand “ I was just defending the valley from some space pirates. No worries, I had help from a bounty hunter who wanted to get rid of some alien DNA from her body in that universe. I’ve also faced a very angry and grumpy green dragon just because the island ended up in its territory. That guy has some anger issues, if you ask me. Oh, I also had to face a red haired demon lord, a fell dragon that had a god complex, and a half naked swordsman who had mother issues . They all wanted to use the Lake of Transformation for their evil and selfish desires. I fought them all when the island leaped into their universes and because of that, I had no time to bathe myself in the lake to heal my wounds before the island leapt to your world. No worries, I am ok!”

Everybody was stunned; the poor guardian didn’t look like he was ok at all. The guardian’s face expressed a world of pain and misery.

Mario and Graziella wondered why that guardian looked like Link from Legend of Zelda book series. And they were almost sure Oracle was mentioning some video games characters that they knew. Mario and Graziella looked at each other: They can’t be real, can they? 

Then, Oracle saw Luke and smiled at him.

“Luke, you’re finally here,” said the guardian to the Belmont child. “You were five hundred years late, but you’re here, at least.”

Luke was surprised the guardian knew him and he was expecting for him this whole time. He apologized, saying he wanted to come to the island much earlier but with the things that happened five centuries ago, he was unable too.

“What matters is that you’re here and also you made your decision, isn't that correct?” he asks. 

Luke nodded to him. “Yes, I do but…” he looked at Bowser, who was still carrying Luigi’s kirin form. “Let them use the lake first.”

Oracle nodded and led Boser to the lake. He explained to him he only needed him to bathe Luigi in the water. The lake would undo Luigi’s transformation. Bowser nodded and carefully entered the lake. He bent down for Luigi to bathe in the water. The kirin’s body glowed a green light. When the light faded, Luigi was back to normal.

Opened his eyes and saw Bowser.

“Bowser?”

Bowser cried out in joy as he hugged Luigi. Mario and Graziella rushed to the lake, also hugging their missing brother. They all cried, relieved that Luigi was ok. Then, Luigi noticed he had a scar on his shoulder.

“Eer.. is this a bullet scar?” Luigi asked, confused “How long was I out?”

“You don’t remember anything, do you?” Bowser asked. Luigi shook his head. He said the last thing he remembered was saving Luke from Great Calamity and then everything was blank.

Mario patted his brother’s back, smiling.

“It's a long story, Luigi.” said Mario as they got out from the lake. “We'll tell ya later.”

Bowser helped Luigi be on his feet. Oracle told it was Donkey Kong’s turn. Before he could say anything else, the kong jumped to the lake in a cannonball style.

SPLASH!

The impact created a big wave which soaked everyone in the way. Oracle looked very annoyed, he knew this would happen but the kong was faster before he could do something about it.

“I hate my job…” he muttered darkly.

They all saw the lake glowing a yellow color. When the glow faded away, Donkey Kong emerged as human. He had tanned skin, short brown hair and brown eyes. He was tall and muscled. His body was almost like a bodybuilder.

“Well, what do you think, guys? Do I look awesome?” Donkey Kong asked as he was showing his human muscles.

Mario, Luigi, Graziella and Luke all blushed deep red. Why? Because Donkey Kong was wearing nothing but his tie. Yep, he was completely naked. Graziella quickly covered Luke’s eyes while poor Mario had a severe nosebleed and fainted. Donkey Kong smirked.

“Oh, I guess I do look awesome.” he said as he got out from the lake, smirking.

“Eer…Kong please, just wear something.” Luigi begged with a blank expression on his face.

Luigi knows Donkey Kong was an omega when he first met at Desert Land, but still he feels a bit embarrassed seeing a naked muscled tall guy, even if he is an omega like himself.

Donkey Kong made a face as Oracle gave him some clothes to wear. He knew he would come out as a naked human after his transformation and he had prepared clothes for this situation. After a few minutes, Donkey Kong was wearing blue jeans pants, red tennis shoes, white shirt and a red bandana on his forehead, and he was still wearing his famous DK red tie.

Mario woke up and saw Donkey Donk wearing clothes.

“Wow, those clothes looked good on you, DK.” Said Mario, blushing.

“Waah, thank you.” Donkey Kong blushed, embarrassed.

While they were admiring each other, Graziella and Luigi couldn’t help but stare at Donkey Kong’s newest clothes; it looked very familiar to them.

“Eer.. He’s not wearing Axel’s clothes, is he?” Luigi muttered to Graziella.

“I think he is…”  She muttered back.

Axel was a character from the Streets of Rage game. While Mario and Luigi had Nintendo and Super Nintendo consoles in their childhood, Graziella had Genesis Mega Drive as hers. And when the brothers were kids, Graziella used to babysit them and they played Streets of Rage in her console. 

“Luke, it's your turn,” said Oracle, smiling at the child.

Luke looked at the lake and then, looked at the guardian. He was nervous, very nervous. Kamek noticed Luked was worried about something and he asked if he was ok. Luke nodded to him, he was ok but he confessed he couldn't swim.

Mario, Luigi and Graziella forgot that Luke came from the 15th century; an age where people rarely know how to swim. If they do, they would be considered as witches by people. The dark ages were terrible ages; especially to women and omegas in general. 

“Don’t worry, divine one! I can help you!” Ludwig quickly said to Luke “I can swim and I will hold your hands all time.”

“Ludwig….” Luke was tearful, “ Thank you so much!”. 

They were holding their hands as they slowly entered the lake. Bowser glared at Kamek, asking him if it was his plan all along. The koopa wizard nodded and admitted it with pride in his voice. They saw the kids diving into the water before the surface glowed a blue light.

When they emerged, they saw Luke in his koopa form. They saw he looked like a mini version of Bowser but his scales and shell were blue, he kept his dark brown hair and blue eyes. But the feature that stood most was his snake tail. Kamek was in tears when they got out of the lake. 

"Oh Luke!  You look like a mix between King Theos and Queen Durga!  

Luke blushed, he mentioned he always viewed Theos and Durga as his real parents. This form he chose was homage to them.

“It's not only that I chose." Said Luke as he glowed and turned into his human self. "I thought I had to choose one world, instead, I decided to choose both."Then, he turned back to his koopa form.

“Wait, you decided to be a shifter?" Asked Kamek in surprise.

“Yep. You see, I accidentally overheard Miss Graziella and Sir Julios talking about the possibility of sir Julios training me in the Belmont ways, but still respecting my wishes if I decided to stay here. So, I've decided I am going to be a koopa shifter who's going to train to be a demon hunter to protect the people I love."

Graziella smiled, telling him her father would be very happy hearing this. She mentioned her father had planned to retire from his job as vampire hunter, but he would still be willing to train Luke if he wished to. Luke smiled at this declaration, claiming he would do his best.

Before Luigi could enter the lake, Graziella stopped him.

"Wait Luigi. Before you go there and transform into one of them, I have something to tell you." She said in a very serious voice. "I want your help to punish Spike."

Silence filled the place. Luke was confused; who was this Spike? Bower breathed fire, answering the child that Spike was like his father; a cruel and heartless alpha. Took a few minutes for Luigi to come out from his shock.

"What? Grazi, you know very well I don't want to be involved with Spike anymore! He already hurt me enough." Said Luigi distressed as images of Spike harassing him came to his mind.

"And he is still unpunished. You know very well you're not his only victim, nor the last one. I want to punish Spike but for this, for this, I need your help. " Said Graziella in a very serious voice.

Luigi shivered, he could not face Spike. If he did and sue him, his family would find out about his abortion. Not only would he be disowned by family, but so would Mario. They both loved their family. Luigi felt Mario’s hand on his shoulder. He looked at his brother who was giving him tender and yet encouraging eyes.

“Luigi, it's OK."  Said Mario." I think it's time to come clear to mom and dad.”

“But Mario, if I do this, we…”

Mario held a hand to silent him.

“Lu, I agree with Grazi on this one; Spike hasn't been punished for his crimes for too long. As much as I love mom and dad and respecting their beliefs, this is destroying your mental health. If we have to be disowned by our family for you to get your justice, so be it.”

Tears rolled down from Luigi’s eyes. He looked at his brother and cousin and then to the koopa. Bowser reminded him no matter what he did in his past, the importance was the health and well being of an omega. Luigi sniffed before removing the tears from his face with his harm. Then, he looked at everyone with determination.

“Let’s make Spike pay for everything he did.” Luigi said in an angry voice.

Everybody cheered at Luigi’s determination.

“So, can we kidnap this Spike and torture him until he begs for death?” Bowser asks, with hopeful eyes.

The humans stared at him in silence and in astonishment, while Donkey Kong, Ludwig and Kamek nodded in agreement. Luke couldn't help asking Bowser if this was what he had planned to do with the crocodile folks. Bowser confirmed him with pride.

“As much as I love your justice system, Bowser, I have a better idea.” said Graziella, with a calm smile. Then, her expression changed into a dark, devilish and evil face. “My methods involve taking away everything that is important from Spike. Making sure he falls into the pits of despair and making sure he will wish for a merciful death.”

Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Luke and Ludwig stepped away from Graziella as they felt a dark and gloomy energy around her. However Bowser laughed and gave her a brofirst.

“Hah! I knew I was going to like you! I like the way you think, Miss Belmont.”

“Grazie, Re Bowser.” said Graziella in an Italian accent, bowing and accepting Bowser’s brofirst. “ And please, call me Grazi, you’re already family.”

Mario and Luigi shivered in fear; was their friendship a good or a bad thing? They swore they saw two images of devils above them, shaking hands.

“Let the revenge festival begin.” said Oracle, smirking as he took a mp3 player and played Kill Bill theme.

Luigi and Mario stared at the guardian, embarrassed; seriously?

It was one more day in Brooklyn City. Spike was humming happily, last night he had a good sex night with one of his omega employees. The young lad was good but not as good as Luigi was. Sometimes Spike wished to have sleep with Luigi again. The foreman entered his favorite pizza place and strangely, the restaurant was empty during rush hour. Then, he saw Luigi sitting on one of the tables.

“Oh Luigi! It’s been a while!” said Spike, smirking, sitting on the same table Luigi was sitting at. He ordered a big pepperoni pizza from the pizza owner. “Where have you been, babe? Your mother called me a couple of days ago. Telling me that you and your loser brother were missing for a few weeks?”

Luigi stared at Spike with a frown, “Spike, don’t call me that. And don’t call my brother a loser either. You know nothing about what we have been through.”

Spike couldn't help but smirk, he liked Luigi’s new attitude. He just chuckled, telling him the kitty was finally showing his claws. 

“I'm going straight to the point, Spike.” said Luigi, frowning at him while crossing his arms. “I want you to apologize for all the things you did to me.”

“Me, apologize?” Spike laughs “ For what? Come on  Luigi, can’t you take a joke between co-workers?”

Luigi’s frown went deeper.

“I do not consider it as a joke between co-workers when you touched me inappropriately, Spike.”  Said Luigi in anger. “You have no idea what you did to my self esteem. I felt the worst of human beings. Especially after I slept with you.”

Spike smiled, telling Luigi he was the best omega he ever slept with. He reminded Luigi that he slept with him willingly, and even paid him to pay for Luigi to pay his father's medical expenses. Luigi slammed his hands on the table, reminding Spike that he took advantage of the situation, when Luigi was mentally fragile because of his father’s stroke and his health plans didn’t cover all the fees. 

“But everybody got their win-win. I slept with you and you got money for your father’s medical fees.” Said spike smirking.

Luigi was fighting back for him to not cry. He didn’t want to give Spike a taste of victory.

“I got pregnant because of you!” Luigi shouted.

Silence filled the room when Luigi said that. However, Spike's behavior towards him didn’t change at all.

“Oh yeah, I’ve heard about it. You know, I was willing to give you money for you to get an abortion. But you already did it on your own. I must thank you for saving ourselves from trouble.”

Luigi gritted his teeth in anger as he closed his hands into firsts. Spike was a horrible human being, and worse than the bullies he faced when he was in middle and high school. And It will be a pleasure to take away that damn smile from that rotten face.

“Is it enough evidence for you, Mr. Edgeworth?” Luigi asks out of nowhere.

Spike looked confused; what? Then, the backdoor opened, revealing a man in a red suit. Behind him he saw Mario and some people he had never met before. They all looked at him with blood in their eyes.

“Sexual harassment, forced prostitution and murder. You’re in so much trouble, Mr Foreman. It's going to be my pleasure to put you down!” said the man in the red suit.

Spike paled; murder? What the hell is he talking about? He didn’t kill anyone!

“What the hell are you talking about?!” Spike shouted as he got up from the table. “And Who the hell are you?!”

“Miles Edgeworth- attorney and chief prosecutor. UsuallyI don’t take sexual harassment cases, but Graziella’s a friend of mine and I owed her a favor. And I just found out you committed murder, Mr Foreman.”

“I committed a murder?! I didn’t kill anyone!” Spike shouted in anger.

“Yes, you did, you motherfucker!” said another voice in anger,

Behind Edgeworth, came out a man that Spike recognized right away; he was Doc Louis; an ex world heavyweight boxing. What was he doing there and what the hell he was talking about?

“Do you remember Little Mac?” He asks, frowning at him. Spike pales when he hears this name.“He was working under you for almost a year. I was his coach and I had recommended your company to him since you accepted omegas with no work experience. He wanted to pay for his own boxing equipment. But you… you harassed him! Touching him inappropriately! Then, you destroyed him when you made him sleep with you for money for his professional equipaments! A couple of months ago, he jumped from the roof of my gym. He survived from the fall but in critical condition; he passed away last week. He wrote everything in this letter.” Said Doc as he showed Mac’s suicide note, with angry tears on his face.

Spike lost all the colors. This can’t be happening! He turns to Luigi and falls to his knees, in a begging position.

“Luigi, I am sorry! I was a jerk” Spike said as he grabbed Luigi’s hands. “Please, forgive me!”

Luigi removed his hands from Spike, looking at him in disgust, “Don’t touch me ever again, Spike! You had your chance! Even if you had apologized to me, you still would be in trouble because of Mac’s death.”

Spike couldn't believe this was happening to him. He snapped out as two officers handcuffed him and grabbed him to be on his feet. Spike glared at  Luigi. “You know I am not going to fall alone, Luigi! Once the trial comes out, your family will know about your abortion. You will be disowned and lose everything!”

“The thing is Spike, I already came clear to my family; I was already disowned. However I didn’t lose everything; I gained another family that understood and respected me for what I am.” said Luigi as a huge man with red hair hugged him.

“Hello Spike. I am Bowser, Luigi’s fiance.” He said, smirking.

Bowser turned himself human after he bathed in the lake from the Valley of Transformation. He wanted to be there for Luigi when he came clear to his family about his abortion and for his time when he faced Spike.

Spike was speechless; since when an omega like Luigi was engaged to a huge alpha like this guy? He couldn't get his answers as the police officers took him away. Graziella thanked Edgeworth for the help. Edgeworth nodded at her before leaving, he had a lot to prepare for Spike’s trial.

Bowser kissed Luigi’s cheek, telling him he was brave and he was very proud of him. Luigi thanked Bowser and everyone for their support.

“I am the one who should be thanking you, kiddo.” said Doc. “I tried to sue Spike myself but Mac’s letter wasn’t enough. I needed more evidence to take him down, especially when that bastard had powerful allies.”

Graziella understood his situation, she mentioned that now Spike’s crimes came to light, his allies would let him fall and not get involved to protect their images from this situation. But she assumed they would also pay for protecting Spike this long.

“Doc, I am sorry for your loss.” said Mario to the ex boxer. “Though we only knew Mac a little when we worked at Wrecking Crew Company, he was a good kid. He deserved much better than Spike’s harassment.”

 “I know.” Doc nodded, almost crying. “He wanted to be a pro-boxer like me. Being an omega didn’t stop him from fighting for his dream and being an inspiration for other kids. But because of that bastard, his dreams will never come true.”

“About that…” started Donkey Kong. “I want you to know I would never want to substitute Little Mac and I’ll respect you if you don’t want to take me in, but I want to be an inspiration for omega kids. I want Little Mac’s dream to still live on through us. What do you say?”

Donkey offered his hand to Doc. Doc looked at Donkey Kong's hand for a while before shaking it, saying he would never let Little Mac’s dream die. Both of them promised to work hard in memory of Little Mac.

Mario was happy for Donkey Kong finding someone to help him.

“I guess I will have to return to the plumbing business soon.” Said Mario to himself.

“About that, primo…” said Grazile smirking 

Mario looked at her a bit confused; what was she planning? He had no idea what Peach had offered to him to go to medical school.

Spike’s trial ended as fast as it started. He was charged for sexual harassment, rape and murder. Because of his allies had abandoned him, Spike couldn’t afford a good attorney and he knew he was dommed, not only by Luigi acting as a main witness or Little Mac’s suicide letter, but also all the omegas he was involved with came out, admitting they were harassed and sleeping with Spike, exchanging for money when their found themselves in a very frail situation. Spike was sentenced to 20 years in prison without parole. However, Graziella was not done with him yet. Being a Belmont, she made some supernatural allies.

Spike found himself in his cell, wearing his orange prison outfit. He couldn't believe he lost everything he worked so hard to get. All Because a single omega finally showed guts to face him.

Suddenly a dark red circled glowed beneath it. He was about to scream when bloody hands appeared and silenced him. He was pulled into the circle. Spike found himself in a gray sinister place, where he was? He wondered. Then, he heard growls. Spike realized he was surrounded by demons with glowing eyes, teeth and claws.

“The Belmont woman told us we could do anything with this guy,” said one of the demons.

“How ironic for a Belmont giving us a human instead of protecting him,” said another demon. “He must have really pissed her off for giving us a free toy.”

Spike fell on the floor, shivering in fear and in terror. He was peeing in his paints. He had no idea what they were talking about. Wait… he remembered Mario and Luigi’s cousin’s name was Belmont! How is this possible?! Suddenly, a tall man with dark hair and red eyes appeared behind him.

“I heard you like to play with omegas.” said the man in a cold and emotionless voice. “Hades has a great playground for alphas like yourself. Do you want me to take you there?”

Spike let out a scream of pure horror and no one could hear him. He was literally in Hell, the place where the damned go. As for Spike, he had no salvation.

Chapter Text

After Spike’s trial, Luigi moved right away to the other world with Bowser. Nothing binded Luigi to Broklyn anymore since his parents disowned him after they found out about his abortion. Luigi really loved his parents and he was sad when he was disowned, But he didn’t feel so bad, at least, he still had Mario, Graziella, his Uncle Julious, Bowser and the rest of the koopa tribe by his side. Bowser and Luigi married after Luigi bathed in the lake of the Valley of Transformation. Just like Luke, Lugi decided to be a shifter as well; however, his shifter powers were a bit different from Luke’s. Luigi can shift between human, koopa and kirin. That’s right, Luigi decided to keep his kirin form after learning he restored a dead island and the kremilings ( who weren’t the pirates who shot him) thanked him so much for giving their homeland back. Luigi decided to do the same to the Dark Lands and other lands that suffered by Great Calamity’s actions.

Luigi used his kirin form to purify the whole Dark Lands. The koopas were in shock when they saw the Dark Lands were not dark and dead anymore. Now the skies were clear, full of light and the land was filled with green. Kamek cried out very emotionally when he saw the lands his queen loved so much were back to life. And he cried even more when he saw Luigi’s koopa form- it was very similar to Durga’s.

Because of Luigi purifying the Dark Lands, new omegas were being born in the koopa tribe. Everybody cried when the new five omega koopalings were born and that was not their only surprise; after one year of marriage, Luigi laid an egg. A few months laters, Luigi and Bowser welcomed to their family their first son; Bowser Junior.

Mario also had his life changing. After he was convinced by Luigi and Graziella, he accepted Peach’s help to pay for his college fees and living expenses until he graduated. He was accepted to a medical school in New York, where he lived with Donkey Kong. While Mario studied hard to be a doctor, Donkey Kong trained hard with Doc to be a heavyweight boxing champion and he did in his first year. He became a celebrity and an inspiration for omega boys who wanted to be as strong as their alpha counterparts. Donkey Kong showed them an omega didn’t need to look frail and small, they could also be tall, having big muscles and even stronger than most alphas. Needless to say in a short time, Doc’s gym was filled with kids who wanted to be stronger. Doc cried, wishing Mac was alive to see his dream coming true.

After five long years of studying and hard work, Mario finally graduated with honors. He and Donkey Kong moved back to Mushroom kingdom, where they opened a small clinic for everyone to seek help if they were hurt or sick. Mario hired Toadette to be the nurse of his clinic and his helper. The next year Mario and DK welcomed their first daughter to the world: Angela Reina Kong.

Toad still was an adventurer. Even after losing his arm to Great Calamity, it didn’t stop him exploring the world and finding rare treasures. Funky Kong- the new Kong king and the best engineer of the realm, had given him a mechanical arm. Now Toad demanded everybody calling him Fullmetal Toad. Mario deeply regretted giving his manga collection to his toad friend.

Peach continued with her reign in the Mushroom Kingdom with wisdom and love. She felt very honored when Luigi and Mario appointed her godmother to their children. She never cried so much before that day. All the children call her Auntie Peaches.

Julius decided to move to Mushroom Kingdom for good, to live his retirement life, since demons rarely appear in that realm and when they do, he leaves to Luke and his friends to deal with them. He really enjoys his afternoon tea with Princess Peach.

Luke grew up and became a young adult. He and the other koopalings , Ludwig, Wendy, Larry, Morton, Iggy, Roy and Lemmy became royal knights under Julius’ training. They fight and protect the realm against demons that appear via warp pipe once in a while.

Speaking of demons, Graziella is now a full demon huntress after her father retired and inherits the family whips; Vampire Killer and Morning Star.

They now were living their respectives lives.

Luigi was sitting under the tree, the same tree that Durga loved to sit under and eat fire flowers. He was in his koopa form, watching his five years old son, Bowser Junior, playing with other children from the other kingdoms. He smiled when he felt a familiar presence beside him. It was Durga.

“Thank you so much for saving everyone, Luigi.” said the spirit, smiling at him. “ And I am sorry for you choosing my ugly form to be your koopa form.”

Luigi just laughs at her joke.

“Come on Durga, your form is not ugly, it's awesome. Besides, you’re our biggest inspiration. You inspired Luke and I to be strong and never forget to be kind. Of course we would choose your form to be our koopa form.” Said Luigi, smiling.

Durga and Luigi still were watching Bowser Junior playing with other kids. Durga commented she always dreamed of seeing this view; her grandchild playing with kids from the other kingdoms in her favorite place in the Koopa Lands. Luigi mentioned he wanted Junior to become friends with everyone and grow up at his own pace. Bowser told him how his own childhood was; because of the Great Calamity, the kingdoms broke their alliances and Kamek was afraid Bowser would be harmed for being the crown prince after hearing Queen Reina’s death. They never traveled around or met new people. Bowsre never made friends growing up. Durga sighed in sadness.

“I blame myself for putting a heavy burden on Kamek. He deserved better.”

“He was your apprentice, he was the only one you truly trusted to raise Bowser with love and care. You knew he would do his best raising him by himself and he did.” Luigi said to Durga. “Unfortunately, because of the circumstances of 500 years ago, no omega was born and Bowser didn’t have anyone who could love him.”

“Until you arrived and changed everything. You saved Luke from his father, you saved Bowser from his own wildfire and you gave the kremlings their home back. No wonder people are calling you ‘Saint Omega’.” Said Durga, smiling.

Luigi groaned and hid his face into his hands, telling her this title was very embarrassing. He was happy helping everyone who lost their homes to Great Calamity but they didn’t need to call him a saint. Durga laughed at him, saying the title, indeed, suited him well.

“I came to say goodbye. Thanks to your actions, my soul is in peace, at least.” said Durga

Luigo gave Durga a sad smile. He knew this time would come.

“I already figured it out. I am going to miss you, Durga. Thank you for everything. I know you somehow helped me when I lost myself to the kirin, after I had drank the Lake of Transformation’s water.I felt you by my side all time. Thank you for everything, my guardian angel. I know someday we will meet again.”

Durga and Luigi touched each other’s foreheads while their snake tails rubbed against each other. 

“Take care of each other, Luigi. Make sure we do not meet too soon.” The former koopa queen kissed Luigi’s forehead before disappearing.

Luigi smiled as he whispered goodbye to his friend. Then, Bowser arrived with Mario, Donkey Kong, Luke, Ludewig , Uncle Julius, Graziella, Princess Peach and Toad for a family picnic.

Luigo kissed Bowser as they prepared for their picnic. Life was finally good for them.
