Chapter Text
”Days seem sometimes as if they'll never end…”
A soft hum, with a warm wind blowing in the air, is heard throughout the night.
The night shrouded the world in its darkness, the stars twinkling for us, providing its presence like a nightlight.
It’s cozy like a warm blanket wrapping around you. The shimmering stars decorate it with their sparkles and glitter.
"Sun digs its heels to taunt you…”
The moon- a luminescent dot in the air- floods the light of the sun into our night sky. The high tides reach out to try and embrace the moon.
The night’s sweet serenade of peace and tranquility, soothes my soul, velvet, ebony hues comforting me too.
So easy to love when you drape your fingers around my shoulders to lull me to sleep.
”But after sunlit days, one thing stays the same…”
The sun lets the moon glimmer at night, closing its eyes to present its beauty with its light.
Oh how beautiful it glows, hiding itself during noon. It guides me during my darkest hour, to accompany me while I sing songs so woeful and sour.
I wish to pluck the stars out of the dark, to cradle them in my hands, for they shine like the diamonds they are. To stay with me as the moon begins to lower.
”Rises the moon.”
As the day ends, then begins too soon.
Sometimes all I have is the moon.
