**5 years ago**

"ITS YOUR OWN FAULT THEY DIED!"

Those words hit me like a bus.I have heard people mentioning theire deaths before but only in rap battles.I wasnt expecting anyone to talk about it,since I made it clear that the subject it's closed,let alone from one of my friends.
I closed my eyes and took a deep sharp breath feeling my chest rise and hurt.I opened them and looked at my friend, determined.
"Alex." was the only word I could muster before my throat tighten and my breath quickened.
My friend looked at me confused before his eyes widen.He quickly hugged me saying words of reassurance like 'Im so sorry' or ' I forgot,please forgive me'
He knew about the incident and that it was a touchy subject but he still chose to bring it up.
Why? Why would you do that?
Before I could dechipher my thoughts Alex interrupted, continuing his speech.
"Sorry for that but you gotta stop it,man.Its dangerous and I ain't following you if the same thing that happened to ur friends happens to me.Give up.Retire like your girl's old man.{Even tho she's dead}.Stop rapping and putting yourself in danger.Do something else like,Idk,a priest?Maybe? Since you always pray and stuff before battle,I suppose you could do that.Give it a thought and talk to me after,aight?Gotta go now bro sorry.Cya!"
He walked away unlocking his car.He then hopped in,starting the engine.
I was left there,mind blank.How should I give up rapping?And become a priest at that?
I mentally sighed before making my way home.
*It's gonna be a long day*

**Present time**

It was at Mass when this thought occurred to me.It made me a little uncomfortable so I shook my head slightly,continuing reading from the Bible.
There are mostly old people here and a few adults in their 30's.Not a lot of young people come over to the church unfortunately.Sometimes though,teenagers would come on Saturdays,mostly making a lot of noise,but praying as well.
I finished reading the last sentence from the page and gestured the cross.
"In the name of The Father,The Son and The Holy Spirit,Amen"
After everyone bowed and said their prayers I quickly tidied up the altar.I repositioned the candles and the big cross so that it stands in the middle.
Before I could turn around a heel sound echoed throughout the church
"Hello darling~ How are you?"
"Deidre"
She appeared a few years ago.It was during Mass,she just popped out of nowhere and sat on the altar.She stuck with me,everyday coming at the same hour.She has a devilishly look and wears a tight red short dress with red high heels.One of her eyes glows every now and then and little horns could be seen sticking out of her brown puffy long hair.She has a tail but usually hides it giving a human approach.She's tall,1 or 2 inches taller then me.Kinda upset about it since I can't be taller then a girl.Like I'm short.Really short.
I let her stay with me since it reminds me of my old girlfriend.
.........
The awkward silence was interrupted by people knocking on the massive wooden doors.I regained my posture and smiled welcoming people in.
Deidre took her place on the altar,sitting cross-legged with one hand plopped on her thigh, suspending her hand.She smiled slyly, eyeing every person coming in.
I then grabbed the Bible,took a deep breath and stated reciting.

Surprisingly,there are some teenagers coming.
One of them has black hair with light blue eyes while the other one has blue hair with...black contacts? And same clothes I was wearing before the accident?
Huh? Is she an old fan?
I sighed quickly and looked down, smiling to the two girls.The one with blue hair started jumping up and down, squealing.Exited much,huh?
"OMG OMG OMG, LOOK ITS BOYFRIEND!!"
"Actually I don't-"
"THE FAMOUS RAPPER.OMG IM LIKE,YOUR BIGGEST FAN"
"I'm not-"
"Kailey stop.We're in a church.Plus he isn't a rapper anymore remember?Cuz' of the accident-"
"YEA BUT STILL.Im actually meeting him!!!!"
I sighed looking at the two girls bickering.
"Girls lets-"
"OMG HES TALKING"
"-calm down.You came here to pray,right?The Mass will begin shortly!"
"Um actually...I just followed Kailey here trying to stop her doing stupid sh*t."
"Please don't swear and that's alright.Would you like to stay or?"
"Kailey?What do u want?"
"WE STAY!"
"Welp I guess we stay"
The black haired girl moved to the right of the altar,next to Deidre while "Kailey" kneeled in front of me, smiling evilly.
"I like that girl.We think alike don't we?~"
"*Sigh* Deidre stop.They can't see you and they're gonna think I'm crazy.And no stop we're in a church."
I sighed again, reading from the book.

~Little timeskip~
I was in the middle of a page when fluttering caught me by surprise.

~Angels POV~

"WHY DO I-"
"DO NOT SHOUT IN FRONT OF ME BOY"
I'm getting scowled for the fifth time this week.And it's only Monday.
You think im LUCKY for getting to talk to God huh?
Nah.Not at all.Its trash.Especially if the reason your talking to him is that you did something bad,{which I didn't.}
"Pico,you'll be assigned a new case today."
"WHAT?!AGAIN?!"
"*Sigh* yes again.We're short on guardian angels so we got to do everything we can."
"Ugh fine.Who do I have to-"
"Everything it's already done.You just got to go down on earth."
"Fine."
So I did that.I jumped of the fluffy cloud, extending my wings.

~Short timeskip again(sorry)~
I landed in what seems like a..church.Of course.Why wouldnt it be a church?
I scanned the place looking at a the people inside.The person im looking for has a halo on their head which is only visible to angels.
I look closely at the priest.On their head was a..halo!Yes FINALLY found it!
But when I look closely the person I need to protect is...
My ex.

Yep.I'm discontinuing this book.Actually both books.
It's a long story as of why I have taken this decision but I'm not gonna get into it.
I'd like to thank all the people that have read my story and left kudos! Without you guys I wouldn't have continued writing in general.
You are allowed to use any idea from this work and the other one(though mention the author)

And a personal note on this.
To be honest I've discontinued both books because I went back and read them.And wow i-
They're bad.Personally it's bad.The way I wrote(and probably still write) it's so...bad.
These were my first personal fanfictions I guess so yeah...
I'll probably continue them at one point when I'm bored but I'll stop for now.
Oh or maybe I post a one-shot book of random stuff.
Anyways,I hope you enjoyed the book and have a nice rest of the day/night!
