Chapter 1: Dear Gregory.
Chapter Text
Gregory is important to me...more than a partner-like my son. However, I feel like something's wrong with me-every time he's close.
Every. Single. Time
Glamrock Freddy and Gregory made it to the Pizza plex, bright lights lit up the big sign in front. Gregory chuckled and gave a sigh of relief; Freddy couldn't help but let a small smile form.
After narrowly escaping Chica, Gregory took his time to catch his breath. He gently leaned up against Freddy's shoulder and yawned. They still had 2 hours to escape the restaurant, it was still incredible to believe.
"Man, that was lucky!" Gregory said, he was able to look up at Freddy. Freddy stood right behind the boy and looked for any more dangers, none yet.
"Indeed, it was, I don't understand why Chica attempted to hurt you...Well if that's the case, we'll need a flashlight for the next section of the attraction." Freddy questioned and tried to ignore his feelings, his program was slowly changing, and he stood there.
No words coming from his mouth anymore. Gregory raised his brow in confusion, he gently poked Freddy on the arm. Suddenly Freddy smiled gently, and his stomach plate opened. Inside was Gregory's flashlight.
When the two were running from the others; Gregory forgot his flashlight and Freddy picked it up for him. Freddy patted Gregory's messy hair and the child laughed; Gregory slightly pushed the hand off in a playful manner.
"Thanks pops" That made Glamrock Freddy's heart melt...he called him dad. Although Freddy soon noticed-he couldn't move. His eyes turned dark and had no light in them anymore.
No matter how hard he tried, everything seemed to go in slow-motion. Gregory's tiny hand reaching for the flashlight, the soft brown eyes were in concentration.
Finally, his hands grasped the flashlight; Gregory pulled back, but it wouldn't come out. Freddy could only watch in horror as some kind of claw came out and gripped the child's arm tight.
Gregory fought but his small body was no match for the metal hand. "FREDDY P-PLEASE STOP!" Gregory begged; tears coming out of the child's eyes. His feet were lifted off the tiled floor.
Gregory's brown eyes filled with tears, looked at him one final time. Before the child was pulled inside and the plate closed. There was a scream and then a sickening crunch at the end...Finally silence.
No words came out Freddy's mouth as he eventually gained back control in his body. He slowly covered his mouth with his metal hands; some blood leaked from the plate and dropped onto the floor.
The drips of blood haunted Freddy's mind and ears. Words ultimately came out Freddy's mouth, his mouth quivering in fear from himself. "G-Gregory...?" The smallest hope was that Gregory survived but no response was said back.
"GREGORY!" Freddy yelled and he collapsed on his knees, pain was in his voice. Without ever truly experiencing this feeling-his eyes filled with black tears.
3 hours passed by quick. Well for Freddy it was. Footsteps came rushing over, Freddy couldn't even pull himself to look. Vanessa rushed in after hearing a scream?
She found Freddy in a position that was unnatural, especially for all the other animatronics. "Freddy-what's going on?"
Nothing came from Freddy, only a gloomy expression. Vanessa stood in-front of Glamrock Freddy now. "And shouldn't you be at your power station!" Again nothing, he slowly stood up and stared at her.
Then Vanessa's eyes widened in horror, blood was all around Freddy's stomach plate. Her flashlight began to shake in hand; Vanessa couldn't believe what her eyes are witnessing.
"T-the child...Freddy...-what have you done Freddy...?" Vanessa questioned before she rushed towards him and starting pressing buttons on the animatronics' chest. The plate opened and hesitantly Vanessa shined her flashlight inside.
She was met with the rotting smell of flesh; the inside of the compartment was covered in blood. Gregory's body tucked inside; a few of his guts coming out of his chest. Vanessa dropped his flashlight and yelped, she quickly closed Freddy's stomach plate.
Vanessa didn't know what she was doing but she grabbed a cloth and began to wipe the blood. Freddy continued to let his tears flow...he just killed-his son. His eyes slowly caught the sight of something...something that Vanessa could not see.
Gregory...yet he didn't have a happy expression but a sad one. The mark was still on his chest and stomach, where he had been killed. He closed his eyes and began to focus on his thoughts, Gregory's soft voice spoke in his head.
You killed me Freddy...why?
I'm sorry Gregory, I'm so sorry.…
I-it’s okay…I guess but…it’ll take time for me to trust you-Especially after that…
Gregory’s soul gently hugged Freddy as the two had tears running down their face.

Chapter Text
Vanessa was stationed in the security office. It had been a few days since the incident happened.
However, it still haunts her mind. How could such a popular entertainment building created for kids...contain a horror like that?
"I-It's just not right..." The security guard mumbled to herself. Her eyes scanned around the room, until Vanessa finally couldn't take it anymore. She slammed her hands on the desk.
"It doesn't make sense; this couldn't have been Freddy's fault..." She started to second doubt herself, until her eyes fell upon the stationary map on the wall. Vanessa turned on her flashlight and moved it towards the map to get a clearer visual.
Vanessa scanned through it, it contained the usual party rooms and customer services. However, something caught her attention. "Wait, what is this?" She questioned, Vanessa placed her finger on one part of the map.
Its location seemed to be marked off with marker, the label "Safety Precautions" on top. She placed her hands on the map and took it off the wall carefully. Vanessa's curiosity only got greater.
Before she gave a determined look, Vanessa had to investigate. She hadn't told any of the other staff about what happened that day, including her boss. Vanessa didn't want to start any panic within the company.
Vanessa prepared herself to go down, the location was far deep below the pizzeria. "I will take the risk, no matter what." She told herself with that, Vanessa headed off with her flashlight and map in hand.
Vanessa was cautious about her surroundings. The only way towards this mystery room was taking the utility tunnels. She couldn't help feeling a weird sense of eeriness. "Keep calm Vanessa, remember this is all for the kid."
She constantly reminded herself that, Vanessa's footsteps echoed off the floor and old walls. Before leaving, Vanessa made sure her flashlight was charged and would be powered throughout all of this.
She was slowly getting close to her waited room. Finally, down a dark hallway was a rusted metal door. Vanessa gulped and looked back down towards the map; the map indicted that was indeed her goal to reach.
Vanessa took a few steps forward, until the door was almost right up to her face. Her hand slowly reached towards the yellow knob; Vanessa took a deep breath.
"Here we go..." She mumbled, her hand began to twist the knob carefully; the metal door opened with a creak. Vanessa slowly poked her head inside, the room was covered in dust.
An obvious sign that nobody has been down here for a while. With a little convincing from herself, Vanessa stepped inside the room. Her eyes scanned the place, inside was posters filled with various characters.
The wallpaper had appeared to be blue and purple spotted. The colors had slowly faded away with time, not to mention that massive holes on them. Vanessa placed her hand on a foggy transparent material, she started to wipe some of the dust.
It was glass, she squinted her eyes to get a better look inside. Vanessa's eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing. "Holy crap...this room is equipped with two-part sets!" Vanessa couldn't make out too much of it.
There was a giant mechanical object inside, her eyes tried to recognize it. "I've never seen the pizzeria contain anything like that...is it a giant-spoon?" Vanessa backed off from the glass.
A sign on the glass read "Caution Scooping Room." She gave a confused expression and glanced back at it. "So, it's a huge scooper...but for what exactly?" Vanessa needed more information.
She continued searching the room, until she stumbled upon a old table. Based on all the objects on it; pens, folders, and letters. Vanessa assumed it used to be some sort of desk.
Vanessa's hands planted on top the desk. She ran her hands through the pile of letters, until her interest was caught on one letter in particular. Vanessa read the name "William Afton...isn't that one of the co-founders of this place?"
Now her curiosity was peeked to the max. She opened it and pulled the paper from inside, it appeared he was writing to...himself. "Maybe like a diary?" Vanessa questioned, she began to read from the top.
The year is 1983, this was never supposed to happen. I should've known, I could've prevented this from ever happening! Everything is going downhill; my sanity is starting to go rouge.
It's not in the way that you would think, well-perhaps not yet. Alright, I guess I quite possibly deserve everything single part of this. Henry and I created this company for the "better of children".
It was perfect, but only for a short while. I've always had wicked thoughts, even I myself will admit that. The only thing I didn't expect was for my family to be involved with this MY.OWN.FUCKING. CHILDREN.
My plan was simple...since children are so excited about animatronics. It's the perfect chance to get what I want, it's called remnant. Basically, it's the will to live or...the soul of an individual.
Children are just so easy to manipulate, anything can catch their eyes-so I used that to my advantage. This was a completely different establishment than "Fredbear's Family Diner."
It was a new magical for place for children, well that's what it looked like on its covers. The place was called "Circus Baby's Pizza world", now the animatronics were not what they seemed.
Maybe it's because I programmed them, see they were...unique. I made them specifically for the purpose of collecting children for me, it would've made my job so much easier! However, my daughter Elizabeth was also intrigued.
What was worse is that she was obsessed with Circus Baby. She constantly begged and begged to see Baby's show. As William Afton, as much as I loved to see my daughter happy.
I couldn't afford for this project to go wrong...for me to lose my child! I warned Elizabeth multiple of times to not go near Baby, especially without anyone around. It would trigger the programming system.
Each animatronic was given different ways of luring children in. It didn't matter the style of how they did it, it just mattered that they were still killing machines. Baby was no different, she had inbuilt scooper inside her chest cavity. If a child was too close, they would be pulled in and crushed.
However, it seems it was not enough. While I was distracted, Elizabeth went to her anyways. My eyes were focused on the computer screen, I was unaware...until I was shaken to the bone when I heard her scream.
I never felt so much adrenaline run through my body, I ran and ran. Hoping I wasn't too late but...unfortunately the worst had already occurred. My heart shattered at the sight, Baby's chest cavity was closed but blood was leaking out the cracks.
Nothing else mattered, I fell to my knees and resisted the urge to scream. That was it...Elizabeth was gone, and I had killed her. I never told my other two children, that didn't stop the guilt in my heart.
However, it seemed like the universe wanted to punish me even more. I was paranoid, this couldn't happen again...no-not ever! So, I forced my oldest son, Michael to try and keep Chris away from Fredbear's.
By any fucking means necessary. I kept my progress by watching Chris's fear increase. I thought I was doing good, until it went too far. It was a usual day in the Fredbear's Family Diner.
When Michael and his friends began to scare Chris. It didn't really grab my attention, until I saw the four teens pick my youngest son up. My breath hitched inside my throat, the sight was unbearable.
I tried to yell for Michael to stop, but the goddamn music was too loud. Michael brought Chris closer and closer to Fredbear's mouth. The boy cried in fear as he tried to escape the other's grasp.
Finally, his oldest son placed his younger brother inside it's mouth. The four laughed and then a sickening crack rang throughout the diner. Michael stopped laughing, his eyes were filled with regret.
Chris's head had been entirely crushed by the animatronics jaw. People began to scream, I went over towards my son and pulled, Chris's limp body soon became dislodged from the mouth of that monster.
I turned to look back at Michael, the boy was shaking and backing up. I've never had so much anger in my eyes. Ambulance was soon called...Chris was in a coma. I hated it all...everything about this.
I despised Michael...Henry as well. Henry was the one who designed Fredbear the most! How could this happen...my youngest son and daughter taken away from my grasp. I will not stand by this...
I, William Afton will make them pay...I'll make you pay Henry.
The letter cuts off there, Vanessa's hands were shaking with fear. She dropped the letter onto the desk, and she slowly titled her head up. "Shit...I can't believe..." Vanessa was at a lost for words.
Her eyes fell upon a sheet hanging, covering something up. Vanessa didn't hesitate as she ripped it right off. As if she couldn't get shocked enough...It was Glamrock Freddy's blueprint!
That wasn't what sent shivers down her spine. No, it was much worse; the blueprint contained detailed information about the main host. "The pieces are still scattered...b-but...It's slowly coming together."
The blueprint showed a scooper like device inside the chest cavity...just like how William described Circus Baby. Vanessa thought back to the child, she swore she saw a boy wondering around this building.
"Freddy...w-was a prototype for the company...He was made this way." Vanessa concluded one final thing; this was intentional with the sadistic intent for murder. From a sick and twisted man.
Vanessa covered her mouth as she gagged, this was all so terrible; her mind was so disturbed. The kid suffered a horrible fate, none of that was the child's fault. None of it was Freddy's either.
"William..." She mumbled that cursed name under her breath, Vanessa curled up into a ball and let everything hit her. Her eyes became a little teary, if only had Vanessa known...that child might have been saved.
However, her eyes shot up as a boy's eerie laughing interrupted her thoughts. It was bone chilling; Vanessa couldn't make herself move...it was coming from the scooping room.
