Orange tracks through the air and his face lights up with a grin, turning first to Raph and then to Donnie.
This is big! This is so big! If he can figure out how to do more with his powers he can help the resistance even more!
He feels Raph’s hand curl over his shoulder, “Careful now, Mikey. Don’t overdo it.”
OR: Mikey gets portal jacked by himself at the end of the movie and Leo ends up in the Kraang Invasion Timeline.

Summary
Leo wants to know if all the villains have a groupchat that they use to give each other ideas because he’s getting real tired of everyone going after his face and neck. Like, the neck is painful enough but his face? That’s just low and incredibly insulting. He puts way too much effort into his skincare routine for some idiot to leave mottled bruises down the entire left half of his face.
Not that it would help with how swollen his eye is now.
To make matters worse, nobody even sells green concealer topside and the hidden city doesn’t have wifi. They have some magic garbage that Donnie refuses to look into installing in the lair.

He missed skateboarding. A lot.
And since nobody would train with him in fear of hurting their dear beloved brother. Skateboarding it was.
Which is probably why he’s on his back staring up at the ceiling, pain shooting through his shell as Raph leans over him. He’s speaking but Leo can’t hear him over the ringing in his ears. He sounds angry.

Donnie elbows Leo in the plastron, “If having an impeccably managed inventory is winning, then yes.”
Leo snorts, rubbing at his plastron. “Nerd.”
Donnie flicks his cursor back and forth over the inventory menu, eyes tracking the way things light up and dim. “How,” He inhales, trying to gather his nerves, “Would you rate your sleep?”
He’s the pinnacle of brotherly affection, certainly.

Mikey, Donnie, and Raph were exhausted, drained, traumatized, and sick with a guilt they could never erase. Not after leaving Leo in the Prison Dimension for 5 years. Even now, with Leo home, they just couldn't forgive themselves.
But despite that-- this was paradise.

I had a lot of ideas for post-saving Leo, but way too many to cram into the last chapter lol. Please enjoy the series of scenes and brainworms I had for Leo’s recovery days.Please note: these drabbles are intended to fit neatly into the original story, whether or not I post another one-shot after. So there won’t be a planned plot or any cliffhangers. Each chapter is its own scene– and just in case the one-shots are never picked back up, this series will all fit comfortably within TNV storyline.

"Leo?" comes Raph's voice. Leo blinks to clear his vision, then lets his eyes trail up, to find his big brother bending over him. "You awake for real this time?"
He isn't sure. Raph being here sure feels like a dream.
He lowers his eyes and looks around. He's not home. He doesn't recognize this place at all, actually. But the walls are beige (still unstimulating, but at least not white), the furniture is dark brown, the bed (not a cot) has a blue bedspread, the empty takeout containers on the table have a splash of red. It's not home, but it's not the room, either.
If he were going to dream, surely he'd just picture himself back home.
He blinks back up at Raph, and smiles.
"Wide awake."

“You hate me,” Leo whines, and it’s got that edge to it that says it’s only half a joke. Ugh. Fuck. That’s where they are. Alright.
“Okay, up.” Donnie smacks Leo rapidly on the shoulder, pap-pap-pap-pap-pap. “C’mon, dum-dum. Get up. Let me fix you.”
And then Leo says something like wehhhhhh. But he does get up—not without listing dangerously to the side, where Donnie has to grip his chilly twitching arms to steady him. Yeah, he’s fucked up. It’s okay. Donnie’s fixing it.
Leo is tired. Donnie has a genius solution: how about Go the Hell to Sleep?
