Hi, my name is Donna, I'm getting my associates and hoping to go on to a double major in History/RTVF. My daughter has been reading fanfic for years and I've finally decided to bite the bullet and just jump in with both feet. I've now been swimming for long enough to get all pruny! :-)
My fave fic worlds right now are SHERLOCK, HANNIBAL, and THE HOBBIT, with a smattering of Spooks/MI-5, Harry Potter, Avengers, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Mostly Sherlock & Hannibal... mostly. I imagine with ALL of the truly talented writers working in these, and then crossing over into new fandoms, I'll probably get lured to the "darkside". Meaning NEW FANDOMS! :-)
I'm working on my first fic for the site. I wrote fic years ago when I was a teen for Trek and Battlestar Galactica and Man From Uncle, but haven't done this for so long I'm trying to make it good. And between work, school, family, and the TONS of amazing fics to read, I keep getting seriously distracted!
