Summary
The link between them was only supposed to be present during dives.
But when Lu Guang goes quiet for a little too long, and Cheng Xiaoshi panics, they find that their powers are able to do more than they originally thought.
(Or in other words, their powers literally telling them to just kiss already, at the very least, if not bang).

Summary
“You look terrible,” Cheng Xiaoshi sighed.
Lu Guang didn’t respond, which wasn’t surprising. He was asleep, after all. Slumped over the kitchen counter, coffee forgotten off to one side, dead to the world.
Or: 3 times Cheng Xiaoshi found Lu Guang sleeping in a weird place, and 1 time he found him sleeping in an actual bed.

Summary
Lu Guang’s tears is its own phenomenon that exists only at this moment in time and space. In the studio where Cheng Xiaoshi grew up alone. In the room where Cheng Xiaoshi rested, now near Cheng Xiaoshi’s bed, woken up by the sounds of sobs so close to his ear that it’s almost white and deafening.
A soothing room of lull. A place where all voices of fear hide under the sheets until the sunlight cracks through the windows. That fear exists only now, in the moonlight, where Lu Guang’s eyes reflect and illuminate a rare blue Cheng Xiaoshi will never see again.
A sniffle. Lu Guang’s voice cracks out in a broken, uneven wave. “Cheng Xiaoshi?”
Or, Cheng Xiaoshi sees Lu Guang cry for the first time, and the author is high on school work.

Summary
During the 2 month period where Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi are healing in the hospital (in separate rooms) after the subway tunnel incident. Lu Guang, while discussing the whole police case with Captain Xiao Li, grows more and more anxious as it sinks in, and starts subconsciously scratching at his past self harm scars.
