The bonds of tribe, of clan, of sworn word and deeds of old are well and good and fine for the tales sung about the fires, but for all else, Murkhaz prefers the clink of coin. A trade in foods; salted, dried and pickled, and stored safe in cold, dark cellars is what he leans on, as well as the mark made of medallion to bind a man to his barter. This is how Murkhaz has risen, his clan coming from small Marcher stock and making themselves lords of the bargains crossing the White River Running…

An old Dwarf Paladin or Fighter #dnd

A dwarf design for this month CDC challenge, i was inspired by Glóin from The Lord of The Rings.

Simon Lenz made an amazing redesign of dwarves and I thought it would be fun to explore and develop his design further in 3D. One nice challenge was making sure he is able to contract into his jar shape and having all parts fit, that meant making sure the design works in both poses.
