A bridal carry is the action of someone, usually a man, carrying someone else, usually a woman, in their arms, one arm under the legs and the other supporting the back; as the name implies, this is commonly done by grooms to their brides during weddings. It may denote or foreshadow a romantic relationship between the characters, a major difference in their physical strength, or both, and it may be used to carry injured people, depending, of course, on the type of injury.
