Okay, so, Yuno wins over all other yanderes COMBINED hands down, even if we count all those trolls who voted no and didn't nominate anyone (which makes ~90% of noes). To celebrate this, everyone gets an orgasmic Yuno wallpaper!

This saddens me a bit at the same time though, as it turns out that she has no alternatives, and I'd rather have a yandere harem... which is actually possible btw, since there exists a harem ending in School Days somehow. :3

Ryougi Shiki doesn't have any single trait of yandere in her.

Well, Yuno is obviously a very sweet girl acting as a yandere towards Yukkii, but the manga (chapter 57) reveals a bitter truth on their relationship

Well, without even trying hard I in a few seconds can think of a couple better yanderes than Yuno. For example the girls from Higurashi or the older sister from Katanagatari.

Yuno clearly accounts for the biggest reason to even watch this show. She takes both the scary part and likable part of a crazy bitch to the extreme. I love seeing what she does when she goes violent. I see what Corva is saying, but I think she her cute side was pretty good earlier on. Considering the likability of the yanderes from Higurashi and Elfen Lied...

Which episode does Yuno first show her dark side?

Her cute side in the first 3 episodes was kind of boring..

P.S. I watched a couple more episodes. Yuno is kind of cool but I cant see her being a yandere character at all. The best psycho loli, maybe?

The Higurashi girls are mostly yangire, not yandere.

Kotonoha is clearly much superior to Yuno, to name just one.

^ Kotonoha is just as shallow as Yuno is, if maybe more coherent/consistent in her behavior.

And Shion is definitely Yandere rather than Yangire, and one far superior to either of the two.

I'm not sure I can call Yuno the best yandere ever until I compare all yandere ever. But, something I can say for sure is that Yuno is my whole reason for watching.

Yuno is a great yandere, but Youko Hasekura from Cross Channel(only a VN i believe) by far takes the title of best yandere in my eyes because she is very logical when it comes to who she kills and why she kills them. Also Youko has actual solid reasons, and more reasons then just 'he gave me a future dur de der' for being a yandere then Yuno does.

PS. This is my first post, i hope i didn't fail to hard....

As usual with those poll, how do you define best? Like best? Best match the definition?

Yuno is such an open "yandere" that if someone who isn't that much into anime asked me what is an yandere, I'll direct them to Mirai Nikki. She is probably the best at making someone understand what an yandere is. She is amazing good at causing bloodshed.

But personally, I feel less impact when a character is permanently in yandere mode. Yes she is absolutely ruthless, brutal, and doesn't hide her affection, but I kind of got used to her seeing her go "Yukki!" and *slash, *slash*, *slash*.

I prefer my yandere-ness to be more subdued. Hidden from sight, with only glimpse of it. I find it more impactful when you aren't sure about the depth of the madness.

I am not usually a yandere fan, so I did -not- vote as per the OPs request, but recently, I found a character in a Square Enix mobile game (School Girl Strikers - Japanese only) which is what I consider "yandere-lite" that I really like. Due to the nature of the game it is not one you would find body counts like in Mirai Nikki, and she keeps it playful, but I am kept guessing as to how dangerous she could be.
