    Whisper silent.
If you're like me, then you were eyeing those redragon switches and found yourself here after a bit of research. I can indeed confirm that these silent lime/lemon switches are in fact the exact same bullet qt switches for less than half the price! Congrats to us both. Now if you can just wait for the shipping from China (my package took exactly 12 days, not terrible) you're golden.Kprepublic is relatively popular in the community so you can rest assured knowing you're going to get what you're after. As for how these switches feel/sound. They really are whisper quiet. There is a fair sized tactile bump, a bit more pronounced than a brown imo. Since there's no "thocc" to be found here, the feeling combined with the lack of sound might make some consider these "mushy" or reminiscent of "the best feeling rubber dome keyboard I've ever felt". Id disagree with the former, but i could see the latter.Coming from kaihl box whites, which are some of the loudest switches I've ever used, this is like another world. There is absolutely no distinct sound. If you are fond of the clack or thocc, this will give you none. THAT IS what a silent switch should be. If you've looked at the other very slim pickings for silent switches, and were wondering what these were all about, go for it. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I loved these keyboard switches so much that I bought a second set for my other keyboard. They are incredibly quiet and provide a great feel to my fingers—not too soft, not too hard, but just right. Of course, preferences for keyboard switches can be quite personal.

What encouraged me to try these switches was a reviewer's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. While I'm aware that there are even quieter switches available and various methods to make keyboards silent, as a beginner in the keyboard enthusiast hobby, I am very pleased with these switches. They were easy to install, and I didn't encounter any duds or severely bent pins. I ended up purchasing two packs of them, and they have significantly enhanced my typing experience.

Thanks for providing such great switches!

I bought these keycaps for a keeb (QK65v2) that I was hoping to build for use in a classroom setting. The switches themselves have a nice tactile feel and are mostly silent.

Depending if you want to put in the extra effort into taking them apart and lubing these switches, it will make a slight difference in the overall experience making it more smooth to type on. If you are a first time keyboard builder, having these non-lubricated will not change your experience too drastically until you are more attuned to the sound profile and feel of various types of switches.

    Pros:
-A good price for an ample amount of switches (especially if you are buying a bunch for a larger build)
-Relatively quiet switches (the overall sound will depend on the build of your keyboard and the amount of sound dampening material you include in it as well.)
-Stock feels relatively smooth if you aren't too keen on lubricating them yourself or not particular about it.

    Cons:
-Might want to lubricate the switches if you are a keyboard enthusiast.
-The disassembly of each switch is rather a challenging and tedious process.

I bought Silent Jades. Fine little silent switches with a neutral sound - not high pitched and not too deep. The tactile bump is well pronounced and round, not sharp. Whether you like that is all preference. They're not as mushy as some other silents, which is great. The factory lube job is nice and leaves them sounding smooth. These are good for someone who doesn't want to bother with modding switches all day.

All of my KPREPUBLIC orders so far had bent pins, take that as you will.

    Silent Yellow Jade:
    [5/5]
Wow. These are the best silents I've had to date. There is a huge gulf between this and the others. They're the most quiet by a large margin and the most satisfying to type on. You still feel feedback but you don't need that much force to start to depress keys. I've seen these described as being on the heavier side, but I don't feel that way at all. If there is any reason someone might have an issue with these switches, it's probably due to not having an outwardly arousing sound, especially since they are just simply quiet. Another possible complaint could be travel distance.

    Silent Lemon/Lime:
    [1/5]
Very light and low distance (positive). I did not have issues typing/gaming. If you have weak fingers for some reason, these will cover you. They do not have the mushy feeling described by other people online to me, especially not compared to certain silent linears such as Aqua King.

However, they have a low amount of tactility. They don't have much texture going down or up and feel very "hollow". The bottom out sound is very annoying+clacky on these compared to other Silents.
Related to other reviews I've seen across the internet: I'm not sure if travel distance/lightness is necessarily the reason for the switches feeling less satisfying. I've tried Beers, Rose Glaciers, and SBW which have similar specs but feel more cathartic. I would not compare them to Browns or linears which is another thing I've seen.

I don't normally write too many reviews but I have to say these left a great impression on me and are way more quiet than I thought. I got the Silent Yellow Jade Switches and they are super quiet. When I type it feels "soft" and not clicky like others feel. I would 150% recommend.

Boba U4 was my first premium switch that I bought for my first mechanical keyboard. I really wanted to like the switch but the tactility would actually give me fatigue when I would type long on it. I bought the Yellow Jade because I wanted to give it another shot with Outemu's new housings. I have tried tons of different switches since then and have not really found a solid silent switch, linear or tactile. The main issue with tactile switches in general, especially ones with round bumps, is leaf ping and that is most important with silent switches. These new Outmemu housing have no issue with this. The tactility isn't to sharp either, it's bouncy and comfortable to type on. I lubed and filmed these but it's not necessary, I just do it with all my switches. I am tempted to buy the linear version of these Outemu switches.

The switches are very quiet and surprisingly tactile. The tactile bump is almost as long as the entire key travel, providing very nice feedback when typing. Outstanding performance considering the low price.

Very happy with these, they’re nicely weighted, the tactility is distinct but not too snappy, and they're very smooth. Silent tactile switches aren’t perfectly silent, but these are quiet and don’t have much in the way of leaf noise - durock silent shrimps are much louder in comparison.

The price for 110 switches is outstanding, if you ask me. They’re great switches, and the fact they’re affordable makes them very easy to recommend.

I love my Cherry Brown switches, but needed quieter one for my work keyboard. I got the Outemu Limes and they 100% did the trick. They are shockingly quiet for a heavy tactile switch. I'd say they make about as much noise as a laptop keyboard but at a lower pitch. These are some seriously affordable switches for what you get.
Only downside was a number came with bent pins, some easily salvageable, others not so much.

The Outemu Silent Jade Yellows are my first silent switches. After swapping my Gateron Red switches with these, I can say that the volume difference is night and day!

I'm just using the switches stock (I did not lube or film them), and they are super quiet and no spring ping on both the bottom out and the release. The bottom out feels noticeably soft compared to non-silent switches, which may not be for everyone.
