Product Description
TABOR TOOLS TTS25A Folding Saw
The TTS25A Folding Saw is great for gardening, camping, clearing trails, hiking, tree trimming, or around the house chores. The red handle will make the saw easy to locate if dropped.
TABOR TOOLS Quality
This saw is meant for pruning branches up to 4" in diameter. Suitable for clean-cut pruning, cut-to-length work, and preparatory cuts. This tool has been designed with comfort and functionality in mind, featuring ergonomically contoured grips and coated blades for a sharper, longer-lasting cut. The comfortable, ergonomic grips also ensure a balanced weight across the tool. This power-house tool enables users to tackle cutting jobs well without straining or expending a lot of energy. No need to fire up the chainsaw!
Bade with three-angled razor teeth: there's no cut you can't make!
The blade has rugged “three-angle” razor teeth, which cut on the draw stroke backward and make deep satisfying cuts, tearing through whatever wood stands before you. Works great for limbing trees like oaks and pines.
- The teeth are impulse-hardened to increase the hardness and lifespan of the blade
- Blade with a 3-dimensional cutting edge
- Hard chrome-plated steel conical blade won't clog or bind
- The blade is rust-resistant and the teeth design prevent sap buildup
- The handle is ergonomically shaped so your hand/wrist won’t ache after using it.
- 4" cutting capacity saw depending on the type of wood
A word of warning! The blade is strong and sharp, however, it should be used with pull stroke only, or it will bend or break! Don't forget to use safety goggles or eye protection when using this product.
Safe and comfortable handle
Safe locking mechanism: The blade locks in folded and unfolded positions for safety. For both opening and closing the saw, simply press the black button. In the open position, the lock prevents the saw from collapsing or snapping.
The blade folds FULLY into the handle, so you can safely toss it in a pack or pocket without fear of snagging the fabric. The handle of this model functions as a hard case scabbard for safe storage and transport, preventing the saw from cutting you while traveling, walking, or working.
Slip the folded saw into your pocket: it is so light you won't feel it's there.
Non-Slip Rugged Handle
The TABOR Hand Saw with sheath has an ergonomically-designed, non-slip handle allowing for better blade control when cutting branches or small trees. The hook on the end of the pistol grip is helpful when wearing gloves.
Stabilizing and Safe Locking Mechanism
Easily lock the blade in place using the reliable click lock. When closed, the lock keeps the blade in tight.
The handle has a large "quick storage" hole, so you can hang the saw on a hook or attach a lanyard.
Curved Blade With 3-Angled Teeth
The curve of the blade helps the saw cut more smoothly and efficiently by helping it stay on track. The blade features super sharp teeth for more aggressive and faster cutting.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2018Size: Curved Blade 8 InchVerified PurchaseSo far ....So good....I have used it a few times and it has cut through like a knife through butter! The blade locks closed which is great for saving space....The blade also locks in place in full open position and so far both the blade and the handle are seeming to be strong and durable which is great too....This replaces a different compact saw where the blades (they were interchangeable) and the handle were flimsy and couldn't handle any amount of pressure used during the saw process....which one time the blade got snagged and the handle snapped as it was merely thin and cheap plastic....This saw has so far been a great replacement! At first I wasn't so sure about the curved blade....but after using it it actually feels like it might make the cuts faster and less effort on the stroke. And its a lot nicer to handle ( and storage space is way less....) than having to bust out the full sized hacksaw or wood cutting saw...( which can be big and clumsy especially when the cutting process is a small branch or something where there isn't much room for a saw itself or a blade from a wood cutting saw.) I am happy with the saw so far as it seems to be built sturdy enough for regular use with the blade doing the work and both the blade and handle being strong enough for when some pressure is applied to guide through the item being sawed through. Seems to be a great option for the price range too.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2016As I've mentioned in another review, I garden and prune a lot. I've tried half a dozen different folding pruning saws like this one. All the ones that I've bought feature the same tooth pattern, so I haven't been amazed by the sharpness of this saw, but it is certainly sharp and cuts well, and I've cut everything from branches to small trees (couple inches in diameter) with it. Some of the other reviews have mentioned the locking mechanism, but I have no complaint with it. You lift the latch, position the blade, and put the latch back down. It's pretty simple and effective. You reverse the procedure to close it. What I do like about this saw in particular is that it feels solid. Some of the pruning saws I've bought felt kind of puny and the blade was too flexible for my taste. Not this one. One more thing: the people that sell this saw have emailed me several time and provided me with pruning articles and the chance to complain. I like that. It means that they are proud of their products, want you to learn the proper way to use them, and they aren't some giant company that sells and forgets. Give the a try if you need a saw (and they've got other pruning gear, too).
- Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2019Size: Curved Blade 8 InchVerified PurchaseThis saw is amazing. I have sawed down several trees with 5-6” trunks with ease. Please read the info they send as their suggestions are excellent.
The lock is very secure thus sometimes difficult to release, hence the 4*. The blade is extremely sharp so be careful when unlocking.
I am a 71 year old woman who still does much garden work and this is superior to my old saw. I was tempted to get the larger bladed saw but figured I should avoid larger trees.
The red handle makes it easy to spot when it’s on the ground. It is also very comfortable to hold and doesn’t slip. The pull action on this saw very effective.
I also recommend their loppers. Very sharp and cut 2” vines, stems, etc.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2018A good, basic hand saw. It's light, sharp, and made reasonably quick work of my first three cuts: a 3" standing dead tree (dry and starting to rot), a 2" oak branch (dry but no rot), and a 1.5" vine (english ivy).
After several minutes of steady use, there's no signs of problems (unlike my old Scotts saw where the handle started coming apart). The only noteworthy flaw in this design is the locking mechanism. That latch works well to hold the saw open, but when folded, it lets the saw open almost half-way-. A second latch or other mechanism to hold the folded saw closed would be nice. I dock one star from my rating for the latch.
Pictured: Opened as far as it will go with the latch closed. Opened all the way.
This is definitely a light-duty saw for infrequent, sporadic use. It would be uncomfortable to use for a project like limbing a fallen tree, between the effort required to saw hardwood, the length of the blade, and the non-ergonomic grip.
This was Tabor's cheapest saw when I looked, for heavier use they have several pricier models with fixed blades and better handles. But for light duty or something to carry while backpacking, this is a worthwhile and inexpensive saw. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Female with weak wrists
Size: Curved Blade 8 InchVerified PurchaseI'm a female and not the strongest. Iv cut through some good chunky wood with ease. So a strong male could cut through a good 5" of wood easily. The saw gives both forward &back cutting action making it faster. The saw does most the work 👌

5.0 out of 5 stars Buon seghetto da giardino, ottimo compromesso tra qualità e prezzo

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Säge zu gutem Preis
