Aftermath MP5 Variants

Postby Warhead » Sun Mar 04, 2012 4:20 pm

Hey!
So, I just got an Aftermath Broxa Evolution. It's an MP5 model, and from what I've heard, I think Aftermath refurbishes guns with their own parts and sells them... The thing is, is that here are two different MP5s. There is the Broxa Evolution (which I have) and the Lycaon. Does anybody know what these guns are refurbs of? From what I've researched/seen/read, the Broxa is a higher quality than the Lycaon, and more expensive, but the only differences I've seen is that the Lycaon comes with a sliding stock and a classic MP5 bottom RIS cover instead of a solid stock and three full metal picatinny RIS rails (on the Broxa).
I thought maybe the Lycaon was a refurb of a gun that was already a clone of whatever the Broxa is... so does anyone know what these guns are actually refurbs of?
Thanks!

They're rebranded CYMAs.

Now go away.

They are CYMAs with different color stocks; alright guns, but way overpriced.

And people posting saying nothing other than "OMG aftermath lol flame time" need to gtfo. They are decent.

From what I can remember, the Lycon actually is a re-branded TM. I don't have the picture to prove it anymore, but it carries most of the TM logo on the motor plate.

Oh well.. I got it cheap, and it's at least decent for a starter gun. It's got full metal gearbox and internals... so...
I'm pretty satisfied with it though. Shoots well, sturdy build. Whatevs. My next will probably be a G&G GR-15 or GR-16

When I had one, I thought the internals were nice till I opened it up and realized what it was like inside a cheap china gun. I found even a JG much better quality.

This^^^
My friend has one. My old JG looked amazing internally compared to the Aftermath Broxa Evolution.

Haha, I'm good thanks, I got for 65 :P everything works great, I'm pretty satisfied with it, and I'm not super serious into airsoft yet anyway. I'm gonna start saving for a G&G Combat Machine, so yeah... oh well :P it'll do the job
