Sharjah Safari Park – A must-visit destination in the UAE

The Sharjah Safari park is inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.

Sharjah Safari Park: Take a walk on the wild side as the largest safari park outside of Africa has opened right here in the UAE.

The park, which is located in Sharjah, hosts 120 different species of animals, was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday (17 February).

 

 

The park is going to be very green too, with more than 100,000 native and African trees planted across the site, located within the Al Bardi Reserve in Al Dhaid.

The park is open daily from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm and multiple categories of tickets are on sale.

Bronze tickets cost AED 40 if you are over the age of 12, and AED 15 for those aged three to 12 years old. These tickets offer you a walking tour ‘into Africa’.

Silver tickets cost AED 120 for over 12-year-olds and AED 50 for those aged three to 12 years old. Buy these tickets and you’ll get a place on the bus for a five-to-six-hour tour. There is a discount if you book more than 20 tickets.

Purchase the gold tickets and you’ll be touring in a private car, with a private guide on a five-to-six-hour tour. Tickets are AED 275 each for those aged 12 and above and AED 120 for kids aged three to 12 years old.

A luxury car for six people will set you back AED 1,500; for nine people it will be AED 2,250 and for 15 people it will be AED 3,500.

There is also a large lake in the park where you can dine at many of the cafes and restaurants.
