The best relic of "Old Bozeman", the Western hasn't changed a bit in the past 30 years. Early morning is the best time to visit for the old "rancher's diner" feel, but the food is great anytime of day.

such a classic cafe vibe! i loved the western style decor inside. we sat at the counter which i love to do at diners. service was super friendly and the food came out quick! we went around lunchtime, so my bf got the turkey club (they call it the lunch break) which was soo good (obviously i had a bite) and i got the bobcat breakfast which, the cinnamon roll french toast?? unreal. can't wait to go back!

Ny eggs were runny,-ordered over medium, my sisters eggs were burnt-she ordered scrambled, my mom's frenxh toast had egg stuck to it- like it wasn't drained of the egg mixture. Not impressed ar all! Long line makes your think it's going to be good food! Very disappointed!

In search of a breakfast place we landed on this quaint little spot downtown. There was a bit of a wait on a Sunday which is typical. Getting your name on the list is hectic as there isn't anyone manning the desk so takes a while. The place is quite tiny, Food was good, service friendly.
Note: not ADA friendly for those with mobility challenges. There are steep steps to get inside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L G.MT, MT86115Sep 21, 2023
This place was recommended to my husband, so happy we went! Its a little tiny diner, that is full of people. The food, wow, it was awesome! Its not 5 star resort hippy food, its a diner, with great comfort food options. If you want organic avocado toast with fresh grown sprouts, these aren't your people. You want a delicious hand breaded chicken fried steak, tasty biscuits, great gravy...this is the place! The coffee was great too, just ask for enough cream for everyone if you are a heavy cream user. Service was fast and efficient and kept the coffee coming. The portions are perfect, and the wait wasn't terrible. They don't have an intercom or anything so you need to pay attention to them calling names, no dawdling, step up and say you're there! We are super excited to have found a place with great food! Not hard to see why they were voted Best of Bozeman.

Came here with our 2 yr old and 1 friend. So 3 adults and one child total. We added our name to the list and checked in twice about a high chair. From the get go, no one even acknowledges you when you walk in. They make you stand there awkwardly for 10 min without a welcome. So after really 10 min waiting to put a name down and then triple the time waiting we were mad. So here's what happened. Sadly, we got skipped twice for tables for larger groups then us, and also another with same size group. When I grabbed the manager and another staff again.. they brushed me off and said oh oops, ok we will check but didn't really have any sense of urgency or care. At that point, I grabbed the older woman (assuming a manager/owner?) I said, you know what now that I'm one hour in and tears with frustration at the lack of basically any manners, we're leaving. I'm not being dramatic, it was just like such blatant disrespect and disregard ( and because I just used all my "eat out energy" for a toddler just flipping waiting around FOR NOTHING) when I was told 20min. So angry I could scream that we didn't even get an apology. What a horrible place.

I came here earlier this year while traveling to Bozeman, and it was such a letdown! My husband was so excited to try based on the name, and we were not impressed at all.
It was a busy day, I get it. But honestly, the restaurant is not that big to be forgetting about tables. Our waitress stopped by like once to check on us.
I got an omelette and my eggs were so thin, I could see through my omelette. It was 80% veggies and 10% eggs. It was disgusting.
The decor was cool, but that is about all it had going for it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
