Classic Vans

Ive bought two campers(unplanned) through CV. A Pleasure Way which was quickly stolen and then a Travato. The prices are high. I knowingly overpaid on both BECAUSE having been to numerous dealers they were the only ones to offer a free warranty on their used vehicles, its family owned and if they mess something up they make it right, and the employees feel invested in each other there, blood and chosen family alike, and that warms my heart. Somethings bought cheaper can cost a lot more down the road in $$ and headaches IMHO. Lori

I can not recommend Classic Vans and their team highly enough! This has been the absolute best experience I have ever had with any type of vehicle dealer, new or used. My wife and I purchased a 2013 class C Mercedes Sprinter Chassis Winnebago from Classic Vans last year, February of 2023. Our experience with them was great from the beginning and continues to be great. We just happened to drive by and saw their lot and stopped. We'd been looking for the right thing for a few years and suddenly there it was. John Carey, the owner helped us out and we felt comfortable with him from the start. They had a great limited time warranty and they completely lived up to their obligation without hesitation. There were a few problems, which is to be expected with an older used RV, but they took care of every problem without hesitation. Replaced a battery that went bad after two months, an ignition that was glitchy and took months for mercedes to diagnose, and the rooftop AC that went out. I am so grateful for the integrity and honesty of John and the organization. Marty and Sevi who run repairs and maintenance were also fantastic. They have taken care of every problem very quickly. We didn't have to wait weeks or months like at most RV places to get service. And when we have a question or an issue, I can call or email them and they'll tell me what the problem likely is and parts to replace and even help me find the part. They're shop is about two hours from us but I will always take it to them for repairs because they're so honest, reliable and quick.
Classic Vans is a family run operation and we can tell because they treat us with that same consideration.

Was my first time experience getting into an Explorer Van. Went here after spotting a van on CL. Met with Serio and he was both friendly, courteous, and communicative. Ended up with a slightly used van that I liked and they were able to add a few extras to sweeten the deal. Some problems arose after the sale with the van and they were able to take care of all them - no questions asked, some of which were beyond their control. Marty was also knowledgeable and friendly with technical aspects of the van. For those that are worried, their follow up service continues after the sale. They seem to be honest and value your business, therefore I would recommend Classic Vans.

Oh - and another reviewer made some accusations of racism. That is a serious accusation, and shouldn't be made lightly (perhaps one that is made too often these days - many times w/o warrant). I bring this up because I did not get any inkling of that feeling whatsoever in my experience dealing with them.

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to write what amazing review about a company that I've now purchased 4 Handicapped accessible vans over a 22 year period. When it comes to customer service I not sure I could have been treated any better . I've used them to service and repair when needed the lifts on our vans and never had any problems. When I've purchased my vans I always left feeling I was dealt with in good faith . If I could give them more stars I would !! Mike

The old man agent was so rude and very racist, the first thing he said do not pull your camera pull out your check. We just ask if we can see the 9 sitter van since we are ready to buy 2 vans, he make us feel we can not afford it. I just said sir you don't have to be rude, we just want to see the inventory, he walk away and just left us. He does even deserve 1 star. I never experience rude car sales man but we found he is the owner so he does not really care, he just assumed we can not afford it.

We got our very first Camper Van from Classic Vans and it was a delightful experience. They were highly detailed, we felt no pressure to buy, and were honest about what they thought was good value for money! We highly recommend checking them out.

A customer came to our shop with some concerns on her van she purchased from Classis Vans. I spoke with Marty in service and we got everything taken care of in a very short amount of time. What turned into a check it out to see became a purchase. Serio and the whole team was awesome from start to finish. Low pressure to buy and they explained everything fully. We were encouraged to look around and when someone did not know the answer they tagged teamed the response. We got a full overview of the vehicle purchased and I was able to trade in and get it financed. The tech also provided us recommendations on batteries and other small upgrades that make a big impact over the course of ownership. I was able to do a lot of the leg work and conversations of next steps via email and phone so I literally walked off a plane and within two hours I was able to drive off with the vehicle. Highly recommend checking them out!

I was gonna buy a Pleasure way Van, 2014. They tried to sell me one that wasn't the one advertised. I was gonna pay a lot. Too much. I ended up leaving and going to Rec Van in Fremont and getting a 2022 Thor Rize fully self contained, under 18' for less than Classic Vans used Pleasure way...The wife in the office blew that sale ..

I contacted this dealer through the web as most people do... this unit was $15,000 overpriced according to NADA. A. 2005 Pleasure Way diesel. I was willing to pay top dollar for what it was worth even on the high end. So I made an offer. That's what their website says...make an offer! Check out the reply they sent me...lol.."they had no control over the price" and that it didn't include tax and licensing so it would have been out the door grand total of $65,000 which is $20,000 over it's retail value. I don't know where their other reviews come from but honestly they have people posting reviews to help them get on their feet. Here's the honest truth they're taking advantage of supply and demand to a level that's clearly dishonest. I wouldn't buy here now even if they are the best damn taken care of vehicles.. Since when do people have " no control over the price of their own things that they sell? Crazy lame excuse.
