She rather specifically does not, because the one time she did the person was really rude about it and she’d rather not feel like that again -.-‘ She’s sold a few pieces, but mostly made things for friends and family, or donated them to the charity auction I mentioned in the comments of that post. I imagine some of it is also not wanting to charge the price of parts and labor, but I’m not sure.

In the past I'd say "i reply to every comment" but that's somewhat dependent on my mental state and there's a bunch I haven't replied to lately, but I do try to (eventually) reply to every single comment. I love comments more than anything tbh, which is probably why my top stats tend to be comments, cause i LOVE LOVE LOVE having conversations with readers and getting to fangirl with them ahaha
6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I mean I don't have that many finished multichap fics. If we're talking pre-ao3 I had a super duper angsty hp fic i wrote in like elementary or middle school lmao

Again, I don't have that many finished multichap fics, and most of my fics have a happy or bittersweet ending. Maybe So It Goes?

I'll be honest, I feel like I probably have but I do not remember it. I mean, I know I get blocked by people who hate some of my ships (jonalex, emsider, reader ships etc), but if I've ever received hate (which I am like 90% sure I have) I do not remember what it was for. Seriously, hate just goes in one ear out the other I do not recall what it was for because I literally do not care enough to remember lol

For sure.

Not really? Not lately at least, though I've done some aus inspired by other works.

Not that I'm aware of, but I don't really check anywhere

Someone asked me if they could translate something and said go for it, but I don't know where that is.

Several. I do a lot of rp fics.

I cannot choose. Lots of ships with my OCs, but i guess for canon-only, maybe jonalex? But i'm indecisive, I don't want to pick one lmao
15) What’s the WIP you hope to finish but doubt you ever will?
Oof. Too many. I'm so bad at finishing things. Unwilling Survivor and Holy Spirits and A Helping Hand are all big projects that I want to finish but I have no idea how that will happen.

I'm so bad at analyzing my own writings tbh. Maybe visceral emotion? Not sure, but I do love yearning and anxiety and metaphor.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Oh, finishing things. 100%.
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I prefer to write around using a translator ('they said in [x language]' or 'it sounded something along the lines of [meaning of translated words] but their [language] wasn't great' etc) so I don't have to worry about sounding garbled, or I ask for help

Harry Potter in 3rd grade lmao
20) Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
I cannot possibly choose. I love anything with Sam in it (so all of the au stuff I've done with her, as well as Unwilling Survivor), I love my jonalex stuff (including Lucky in Love, which I think is such a niche au of an au that I tagged it as original fiction as well lmao), and of course A Helping Hand has to be in there, and might as well include the fae au for emsider and the xreader for acs, and any jonalex i wrote with hammie, and and and-- basically everything lmao, I can't pick favorites.

Also yeah, it was so awkward cause I was the only one at work who recognized him and when I did I literally stopped walking and just went. "Oh. Hi." And then proceeded to try to act as normal as possible while also being like wait is it actually him tho, and surreptitiously checking the waiver site to verify the name 😅 I'm not like a huge fan or anything, I don't really keep up with his stuff, but I was a musical theater kid in hs so I have seen it here and there xD I may have been overeager in broadcasting the queerness of myself and my coworker who was also there, but I think I do that with anyone who's outwardly queer anyway, its just a natural ✨awkward charm✨/j
I will say I was very pleasantly surprised at how good his group was at escape rooms, which is rare to see tbh, and they also had a really good trait for escape rooms which is enthusiasm and team encouragement. You'd be shocked how uncommon it is for a group to be vocally encouraging each other during a game, but it says a lot about people when they do!
I'm soo getting back into Oxenfree stuff, it's a little crazy...I dug that old Oxenfree Alex->Michael mixtape NightSchoolStudio put up and have been listening to it. Anyways, wanted to ask--how long do you usually wait before posting a fic? Like...how many words/chapters do you usually get down the line on before you start posting something?
Personally? I have no patience whatsoever xD I usually try to make myself write one to two chapters ahead of what’s getting posted, but I am an overconfident and impulsive person 😅 My answers are glaringly different from some people, it really is a personal preference thing (if you ever read @ao3commentoftheday, this has come up before, and there are wildly varying answers).
When I write, inspiration usually hits real hard and I get a bunch written all at once, and then reread constantly while writing, sometimes share with friend and reread each time I show it to someone else (to read along, or to make sure there are no editing errors, stuff like that), and eventually I feel like it’s good enough (and then that gets another reread when transferring over to ao3, and another right after posting, and again when I share— basically I reread over and over again to catch any mistakes).
As evidenced by my record of incomplete multi chap fics; this isn’t the ideal system for holding yourself accountable and finishing projects. But it CAN be the ideal system for just putting out a ton of content and sharing as much as possible. I personally don’t mind unfinished WIPs, but I know that kills some people and they refuse to read them. But hey; that’s their loss. I’ll post when I’m proud of what I have to share (or when it’s acceptable enough and I can’t think of any other way to fix it), and... yeah. 😅 in other words, it’s really up to you. Personally, when I’m feeling at my most productive, I like to post two chapters behind what I have completed.
(Also; nice! Yeah I only found that mixtape well after I’d written a bunch of Oxenfree stuff— it really is good.)

Oof. Well, y’see... ^^; At the moment it’s a bit on hiatus, due to a few different things. (Probably mostly cause I made the mistake of making ask/rp blogs for sam and frank and now that has eaten my life just a little bit, but also cause I was worried about an upcoming scene being too kinked, and had fallen into a lull in the writing.)
If you want to make sure you know when the next chapter goes up, I’d recommend subscribing! I will also always post updates here when new chapters go up, and will always tag them as #unwilling survivor, so you’re welcome to track that if you want, but subscribing or bookmarking is probably the best way to not lose track of the fic.
I recognize I can be a very flaky author, and I apologize ^^; Best course of action is to subscribe and not torture yourself over constant refreshing (believe me, I know the feeling of following a wip that hasn’t updated in a while).

Hey, I've been following you a long time since I saw your oxenfree fics. I started reading Unwilling Survivor about a weekish ago and I really like it. I didn't know a lot about DBD before but I've been reading up on it since and am hella interested in it now. I love Sam and her dynamic with Frank plus the survivors; I'm excited to see where this goes! This might sound really cheesy but reading this has really brightened my week and I wanted to let you know I really love it, hope that's okay

But seriously, I love Sam: I put her through so much and she still comes out of it. (I mean, she can’t die, so she kinda has to, but still! Having to keep fighting when she doesn’t want to! She does not want to survive! And she does! I fuckin’ love this OC so much!) I’m so glad other people like her, and relate to her (honestly, fighting through things is really hard and she’s the kind of spiteful that’s productive and destructive in equal measure) because BRO SAME. Oof.
AND aaa I’m so happy to have gotten you into something new! 😊 I have no idea how I got into it exactly, though @selene-sins may have had something to do with me exploring the lore a lot more, and then looking into fanfic, and then looking into fanfic made me want to write it because [ha what no, i’m not horny for fear why would anyone ahaha whaaat noooo] you know, reasons!
I’m still working on more, still have a bunch of ideas that I can thank @selene-sins and @artemis-crimson for letting me bounce off of them, and 18 just went up because I have no patience at all!
