     Hon. Lucy Courtenay was born on 13 June 1770.² She was the daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack.¹ She married John Vaughan, 3rd Earl of Lisburne, son of Wilmot Vaughan, 1st Earl of Lisburne and Dorothy Shafto, on 2 August 1798.¹ She died on 27 January 1822 at age 51.¹
     Her married name became Vaughan. After her marriage, Hon. Lucy Courtenay was styled as Countess of Lisburne on 6 May 1820.

     John Vaughan, 3rd Earl of Lisburne was born on 10 March 1769.¹ He was the son of Wilmot Vaughan, 1st Earl of Lisburne and Dorothy Shafto.² He married Hon. Lucy Courtenay, daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack, on 2 August 1798.¹ He died on 18 May 1831 at age 62.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cardiganshire between 1796 and 1818.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1800.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Lisburne, co. Antrim [I., 1695] on 6 May 1820.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Lord Vaughan, Baron of Fethard, co. Tipperary [I., 1695] on 6 May 1820.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Lisburne, co. Antrim [I., 1776] on 6 May 1820.¹

     Hon. Harriet Courtenay was born on 7 September 1771.¹ She was the daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack.¹ She married George Thynne, 2nd Baron Carteret of Hawnes, son of Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck, on 9 May 1797 at Grosvenor Street, London, England^G.¹ She died on 13 April 1836 at age 64.¹
     From 9 May 1797, her married name became Thynne.¹ After her marriage, Hon. Harriet Courtenay was styled as Baroness Carteret of Hawnes on 17 June 1826.

     Hon. Caroline Eustatia Courtenay was born on 26 March 1775.² She was the daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack. She married Lt.-Col. Charles Morland on 3 January 1812.¹ She died on 6 March 1851 at age 75.¹
     From 3 January 1812, her married name became Morland.¹

     Sir Edmund Deincourt, 1st Lord Deincourt gained the title of 1st Lord Deincourt.

     Hon. Sophia Courtenay was born on 25 January 1780.¹ She was the daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack. She married Colonel Nathaniel Foy, son of Captain Edward Foy and Hannah van Hoorn, in December 1804.¹
     From December 1804, her married name became Foy.¹

     Margaret de Multon was the daughter of John de Multon.²

     Hon. Louisa Augusta Courtenay was born on 23 December 1781 at Powderham, Devon, England^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack.¹ She married General Lord Robert Edward Henry Somerset, son of Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort and Elizabeth Boscawen, on 17 October 1805.¹ She died on 9 February 1823 at age 41.¹
     Her married name became Somerset.

     Lord Arthur John Henry Somerset was born on 12 February 1780.¹ He was the son of Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort and Elizabeth Boscawen.¹ He married Hon. Elizabeth Boscawen, daughter of George Evelyn Boscawen, 3rd Viscount Falmouth and Elizabeth Anne Crewe, on 23 June 1808.¹ He died on 18 April 1816 at age 36.¹

     William Courtenay, 9th Earl of Devon was born on 30 July 1768.¹ He was the son of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack.¹ He was baptised on 30 August 1768. He died on 26 May 1835 at age 66 at Paris, France^G, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 12 June 1835.
     He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle, co. Devon [G.B., 1762] on 14 October 1788.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Courtenay [E., 1645] on 14 October 1788.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Devon [E., 1553] on 15 March 1831, after the House of Lords declared his right to the Earldom.¹
     On his death, the Viscountancy Courtenay of Powderham Castle became extinct.¹
