Sir Francis Henry Goldsmid, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Francis Henry Goldsmid, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 May 1808 at London, England.1 He was the son of Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid, 1st Bt. and Isabel Beila Goldsmid.1 He married Louisa Sophia Goldsmid, daughter of Moses Asher Goldsmid, on 10 October 1839 at London, England.1 He died on 2 May 1878 at age 70 at St. Thomas's Hospital, London, England, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goldsmid [U.K., 1841] on 27 April 1859.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Reading.2 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.)2
