William Edward Yates1

     William Edward Yates was the son of Major Samuel Pearson Yates.1 He married Diana Frances Pery-Knox-Gore, daughter of Brigadier Arthur Francis Gore Pery-Knox-Gore and Evangeline Hughes, on 27 November 1958.1 He died on 10 November 1964.1
     He lived in 2003 at Upsend Stud Farm, Newmarket, Suffolk, EnglandG.1

     Brigadier Arthur Francis Gore Pery-Knox-Gore was born on 1 September 1880.2 He was the son of Edmond Henry Cockayne Pery-Knox-Gore and Sarah Jane Knox-Gore.2 He married Evangeline Hughes, daughter of Captain John William St. John Hughes and Jessie Ann Atkinson Gardner, on 11 October 1909.2 He died on 18 February 1954 at age 73.2
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.2 He was Assistant Quartermaster-General of the British Salonika Force and Army of the Black Sea between 1917 and 1920.2 He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia.2
He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He was awarded the Medal of Military Merit Greece.2 He was awarded the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.2 He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal in 1935.2 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1937.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1937.2

     Evangeline Hughes was born circa 1880 at Paris, France.1,2 She was the daughter of Captain John William St. John Hughes and Jessie Ann Atkinson Gardner.3 She married Brigadier Arthur Francis Gore Pery-Knox-Gore, son of Edmond Henry Cockayne Pery-Knox-Gore and Sarah Jane Knox-Gore, on 11 October 1909.3 She died on 18 February 1967.1
     Her married name became Pery-Knox-Gore.

Captain John William St. John Hughes1

     Captain John William St. John Hughes was born on 26 August 1837 at Bradfield, Essex, England.2,3 He was the son of Rev. Sir Thomas Collingwood Hughes, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth St. John Butcher.2 He married, firstly, Jessie Ann Atkinson Gardner, daughter of William Atkinson Gardner and Margaret Cumming, in 1863.2 He married, secondly, Ellen Sophia Deeble, daughter of Surgn.-Maj. William Deeble, in 1898.2 He died on 22 January 1921 at age 83.2
     He gained the rank of Captain between 1844 and 1864 in the 66th and 8th Regiment.2

John Bampfylde Peter-Hoblyn and Dorothy Barbara Philipson-Stow, on 13 March 1967.1
     From 22 September 1964, her married name became Coleridge. Her marriage to William Anthony Coleridge was annulled in 1966.1 From 13 March 1967, her married name became Peter-Hoblyn.

     Charles Francis Mark FitzRoy was born on 5 March 1909.1 He was the son of Cyril Duncombe FitzRoy and Margaret Cuninghame Durham.1 He married Irmgard Baronin von Dincklage, daughter of Rudolf Baron von Dincklage, on 18 June 1936.1 He died in 1994.1
