     Frederick Edward Grey Ponsonby, 1st Baron Sysonby was born on 16 September 1867.² He was the son of General Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Frederick Ponsonby and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Bulteel.¹ He married Victoria Lily Hegan Kennard, daughter of Edmund Hegan Kennard and Agnes Hegan, on 17 May 1899.² He died on 20 October 1935 at age 68.²

     Victoria Lily Hegan Kennard was the daughter of Edmund Hegan Kennard and Agnes Hegan.² She married Frederick Edward Grey Ponsonby, 1st Baron Sysonby, son of General Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Frederick Ponsonby and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Bulteel, on 17 May 1899.³ She died on 2 June 1955.²
     Victoria Lily Hegan Kennard also went by the nick-name of Ria.³ Her married name became Ponsonby. After her marriage, Victoria Lily Hegan Kennard was styled as Baroness Sysonby on 24 June 1935.

     Agnes Hegan was the daughter of Joseph Hegan.¹ She married Edmund Hegan Kennard, son of John Peirse Kennard and Sophia Chapman, in January 1868.² She died on 22 January 1906.²
     From January 1868, her married name became Kennard.¹

     Edmund Hegan Kennard was born on 14 October 1834.² He was the son of John Peirse Kennard and Sophia Chapman.² He married Agnes Hegan, daughter of Joseph Hegan, in January 1868.² He died on 9 July 1912 at age 77.¹

     Sallie Whitney Sanford was the daughter of Dr. Leonard Cutler Sanford.¹ She married, firstly, George Edward Monkland.² She married, secondly, Edward Gaspard Ponsonby, 2nd Baron Sysonby, son of Frederick Edward Grey Ponsonby, 1st Baron Sysonby and Victoria Lily Hegan Kennard, on 2 October 1936.² She married, thirdly, Major Edward Robert Francis Compton, son of Lord Alwyne Frederick Compton and Mary Evelyn Violet Vyner, on 15 February 1958.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     Her married name became Monkland.² After her marriage, Sallie Whitney Sanford was styled as Baroness Sysonby on 2 October 1936. From 2 October 1936, her married name became Ponsonby. From 15 February 1958, her married name became Compton.

     Philippine Henriette Sophie Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg was born on 30 May 1779 at Gröningen, Germany^G.¹ She was the daughter of Friedrich Ernst Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Magdalena Zwier van Haren.¹ She died on 19 May 1860 at age 80.¹

     Major Edward Robert Francis Compton was born on 14 December 1891.³ He was the son of Lord Alwyne Frederick Compton and Mary Evelyn Violet Vyner.³ He married, firstly, Sylvia Farquharson of Invercauld, daughter of Lt.-Col. Alexander Haldane Farquharson of Invercauld and Zoë Caroline Musgrave, on 3 July 1918.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Dawson, daughter of Sydney Dawson, on 23 October 1952.³ He married, thirdly, Sallie Whitney Sanford, daughter of Dr. Leonard Cutler Sanford, on 15 February 1958.³ He died on 7 February 1977 at age 85.¹

     John Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Baron Sysonby was born on 5 August 1945.¹ He was the son of Edward Gaspard Ponsonby, 2nd Baron Sysonby and Sallie Whitney Sanford. He died on 23 October 2009 at age 64.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Sysonby, of Wonersh, Surrey [U.K., 1935] on 21 January 1956.¹
