     Hon. Michael Langhorne Astor was born on 10 April 1916.1 He was the son of Waldorf Astor, 2nd Viscount Astor and Nancy Witcher Langhorne.1 He married, firstly, Barbara Mary Colonsay McNeill, daughter of Captain Ronald Frank Rous McNeill and Kathleen Beart, on 28 November 1942 at St. Mark's Church, Mayfair, London, England.1 He and Barbara Mary Colonsay McNeill were divorced in 1961.1 He married, secondly, Patricia David Pandora Clifford, daughter of Hon. Sir Bede Edmund Hugh Clifford and Alice Devin Gundry, on 12 July 1961.1 He and Patricia David Pandora Clifford were divorced in 1968.1 He married, thirdly, Judith Caroline Traill Innes, daughter of Paul Innes, in 1970.1 He died in 1980.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for East Surrey between 1945 and 1951.1 He wrote the book Tribal Feeling, published 1963.1 He adopted Joshua Paul Michael Astor. He wrote the book Brand, published 1968, (a novel.)1

     Edward Southwell Ward, 3rd Viscount Bangor was born in March 1790.1 He was the son of Hon. Edward Ward and Lady Arabella Crosbie.1 He married Hon. Harriet Margaret Maxwell, daughter of Reverend Henry Maxwell, 6th Baron Farnham and Lady Anne Butler, on 14 February 1826.1 He died on 1 August 1837 at age 47.1 His will was proven (by probate) in May 1840.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Bangor, of Castle Ward, co. Down [I., 1781] on 11 September 1827.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Bangor, of Castle Ward, co. Down [I., 1770] on 11 September 1827.1

     Muriel Suzanne Austin is the daughter of Major Campbell Austin.2 She married Thomas Hugh Clifford, 14th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, son of Colonel Lewis Hugh Clifford, 13th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Katharine Vavasseur Fisher, on 15 December 1980.1 She and Thomas Hugh Clifford, 14th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh were divorced in 1993.1
     Muriel Suzanne Austin usually went by her middle name of Suzanne.1 Her married name became Clifford. She is known to have two sons and one daughter by her first marriage. After her marriage, Muriel Suzanne Austin was styled as Baroness Clifford of Chudleigh in 1988.

     Captain Nicholas Breakspear Kirby is the son of Ronald Kirby.2 He married Hon. Cecilia Alice Clifford, daughter of Colonel Lewis Hugh Clifford, 13th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Katharine Vavasseur Fisher, on 15 April 1968.1 He and Hon. Cecilia Alice Clifford were divorced in 1977.1

Harriet Margaret Maxwell was born on 11 February 1805.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Maxwell, 6th Baron Farnham and Lady Anne Butler.1 She married, firstly, Edward Southwell Ward, 3rd Viscount Bangor, son of Hon. Edward Ward and Lady Arabella Crosbie, on 14 February 1826.1 She married, secondly, Major Andrew Savage Nugent, son of Lt.-Col. Andrew Nugent and Hon. Selina Vesey, on 4 October 1841 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 She died on 4 July 1880 at age 75 at Castle Ward, County Down, IrelandG.1
     From 14 February 1826, her married name became Ward.1 After her marriage, Hon. Harriet Margaret Maxwell was styled as Viscountess Bangor on 11 September 1827. From 4 October 1841, her married name became Nugent.1
