     Frederick Thorpe Mappin was born on 3 April 1886.1 He was the son of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton.1 He married Ethel Barrett, daughter of R. J. Barrett, on 14 August 1912.1 He died on 17 July 1916 at age 30 at U.S.A., killed in an aeroplane accident.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

     William Hubert Mappin was born on 23 May 1891.1 He was the son of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton.1 He married Mary Patricia Grace Kenyon, daughter of Charles Richard Kenyon, on 6 July 1956.1 He died on 25 September 1966 at age 75, without issue.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Gloucestershire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.1 He graduated from Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1918 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

     Her married name became Hills.1 From 6 July 1956, her married name became Mappin.1
