     Lt.-Col. Atherton George ffolliott Powell was born on 22 August 1912.1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Richmond ffolliott Powell and Alice Katharine Beatrix Shedden.1 He married, firstly, Emilie Pamela S. Grogan in 1936 at Chelsea, London, England.2 He married, secondly, Jacqueline Miranda M. Powell in September 1950 at Kensington, London, England.2 He died on 8 December 1981 at age 69 at Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.1

     John Gully was born on 21 August 1783 at Wick, Gloucestershire, England.1,2 He was the son of Richard Gully.1 He married Mary Lacey on 15 May 1828 at Easingwold, Yorkshire, England.1 He died on 9 March 1863 at age 79 at Durham, County Durham, England.1,2
     In 1805 he was imprisoned for debt when his butchery failed.2 He was a prize-fighter and horse racer.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pontefract between 1832 and 1837.2 He lived at Hare Park, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England.1
